One last MTT book signed and given back to it’s owner, before finally the crowd seems dispersed enough to warrant a tired sigh from the robot.

“Finally.....”

That’s all he says at first, before he catches sight of something small... And familiarly yellow.

He looks, then immediately he JUMPS up from his spot upon seeing the little triangle demon. Then mechanical arms stretch forward to scoop the being into a very-much-needed embrace.

“MY PRECIOUS LITTLE DEMONIC CONQUERER~! Aren’t you a sight for sore eyes??? Hello my darling~!”

Knock Out shrugs his shoulders, bringing a fancy glass of Engex up to his lips. 

They’re both idiots by that logic.

“You know, if you keep talking bad about yourself like that I’ll have to take you apart.”

The doctor reaches out gently, stroking a side of the floating triangle with a large claw. Setting his drink down, he smiles at the demon, nudging him a little closer for his optics to inspect. His engine seems to purr softer. 

“I don’t fare well with anyone calling you names, handsome.”

He does something akin to a wink, “Try saying that again but instead of ‘idiot’ replace it with...beautifully sculpted evil-genius? Sounds much more accurate to me, dear.”

     ❝SUCCESS, ❞HE supposes, testing the word between his teeth like fine wine, ❝ is ... relative, I suppose.  Obviously, I am an incontestable example of a highly successful person, ❞he explains with the utmost humility, his pretentious drawl punctuated with a delicate hand splayed over his chest,❝but whatever you do, however you do it, if it makes you feel ... fulfilled, like it gave you meaning, then I’m not one to argue whether or not that counts as success.  Sounds pretty successful to me, ❞he says with a dismissive shrug.  

     HE FIRMLY believes that there is no streamlined definition of success, no catch-all formula: he has narrowed himself into a category, created a trajectory he feels he ought to follow, but he is well aware that his version of fulfillment is not the same as everyone else’s.  If everyone else viewed success like he did, then he would have an awful lot of competition to trample over. ❝To me, personally, confidence is obviously key,❞ he sniffs. ❝As is a work ethic.  It’s just a waste to sit around and do nothing, waiting for fortune to just ... crash out of the sky and break your skull open or something.  I find it pathetic when people are uncertain of themselves: if you don’t know who you are, then you don’t know what you want.  And if you don’t know what you want, then you do nothing to become better.  And that, that sort of ... aimless, drifty stuff, that inability to think of your direction, of what you want to do with your life, that is the opposite of success.  I usually just call that being a failure.❞

For the 2020 meme - I've only been introduced to this blog recently, but I am in love with all the wacky, zaniness!
