I don't really have that many active wips anymore so I'm gonna pull out some old ones!

Mello Amane AU - Misa & Mello are cousins, and after the death of their parents, Misa tries to adopt Mello. However the Wammy house get's him before she can and now she's in a legal battle to get her cousin back. (Stopped making more of this bc I just did not care about Death Note after L's dead, got boring)

Kamino Intern Maul AU - Palpatine accidentally forgot Maul on Kamino and when he finally remembered that he has an apprentice, the Kaminoans have already given him a uniform and tasks to complete (Maul becomes space OSHA)

Protecting What Matters Most AU - Kallus is sent on a cultural exhange to Lasan, mets Zeb, falls in love, Mpreg is involved but before Kallus can tell Zeb that they're gonna be parents, the Purge happens. Now Kallus is trying to survive in a hostile political climate while raising a hybrid child.

Carina Sparrow AU - I should have written that idea now bc I can't remember anything about it save for the fact that Jack is in London, meets Carina, and ends up adopting her bc he knows that her mother wouldn't want her kid to be in an oprhanage (should have gotten more canon info about Carina's mother if they were going to introduce a kid character)

Ancient Egypt AU - a night at the museum fic, made bc I was obsessed with Kahmunrah and the implication of Wax figurines having their personality influenced by how they're percived vs Akhmenrah who remembers his brother as an intelligent man that just spoke slower than their father would have liked (Feature's a LOT of worldbuilding, several OC's & the real life impacts of inbreeding)

Question on Character Information on AO3

So, I know some authors will create a separate chapter/character sheet prior to posting chapter 1 if the notes on them make the beginning or end notes section way too long. However, I only have 4 characters that would need to be on a sheet since they are not conventional characters (talking OCs of Gojoseon, Baekje, and Jin, plus one human), so I’m not sure if I should make a separate posting to explain who they are since it’s only less than 250 words long. However adding it to the rest of the beginning notes would make the beginning note section over 500 words long.

What’s the proper etiquette to this?

the walls of his room were littered with delegate lanyards from conferences across the globe, "best delegate" certificates framed all over his house (and a couple crumpled up inside his desk to fit the space), and a collection of trophies that stood in every nook and cranny.

no one at decelis high dared to go against him. whenever it was, whether it was moderated caucus or unmoderated, he'd always have his country or character's placard raised high, ready to speak, or leading whatever bloc was being formed.

it was no doubt that no one has ever beat him. it was no doubt that he was decelis high's mun club's secretary-general. and those who chose to go against him either get crushed in fear or knew when to step back.

even with his "best delegate" status, he wouldn't have gone far without his best mates, park jongseong, sim jaeyun, and park sunghoon.

park jongseong or jay, most known for his cold stares in the debate room, ready to make a delegate tremble, would always chair crisis. he was decelis high's deputy secretary-general alongside heeseung. and although being heeseung's best mate, he never favored him when it came to awarding. it's just that he was naturally talented.

sim jaeyun, known for his popular slogan around the school; "jake it till you make it!", was the strongest when it came to knowing what a country or character believed in. his research skills were like a pirate on the hunt for lost treasure, he had all the facts, the data, and the proof to back up any stance. whatever heeseung needed to know, jake already had his back.

and park sunghoon. even though he was the quiet one of the bunch, his position papers never ceased to appeal any chair. even if he wasn't as strong in speaking out during committee sessions, his fingers were his weapon. the guys would always ask him why'd he chair press and not join in the heat with them, he'd always answer with a simple, "my words are stronger than my actions." where jay would always respond with "isn't that the other way around bud?"

the four were unstoppable when it came to model un. lee heeseung was unstoppable. he was. until you came along.

[Tidbits]: To not break the flow, gonna put the note first– in the first dialogue, Victor’s classmates address him as “老李” (Lao Li)~ the way I hate English vocabulary at times like this LMAO the term “老” here is used as a teasing remark by his classmates to express their respect/ honor for him sarcastically given that not only he’s ahead of the crowd but he acts far too mature beyond his years as well~😂

“Sir Vic, what answer did you get for the second-to-last question?”

“Square root of 2.”

“OK! Now, what option did you choose for the tenth question?”

“I chose option C, but I’m not sure.”

“It should be option A… P is the symmetric point with respect to the straight line x-y=0…”

For the math teacher who loves giving impromptu quizzes, getting the students to engage in discussions during the ten-minute break is also one of their “conspiracies.”

[BIOLOGY]:

Looking at the textbook he’s already highlighted with the key points long ago, Victor takes out a collection of competition-grade questions that are carefully sorted to align with the relevant exam topics. As he listens, he begins contemplating the problems.

[CHINESE]:

Everyone is on their “best behavior” during the homeroom teacher’s class. The beaming woman is speaking eloquently on the stage, while Victor looks down at a reading comprehension analysis. He finds that he understands it even better than the original writer.

There are so many incomprehensible things in this world.

[CHEMISTRY]:

There are less than ten minutes to go until the end of the class. Glancing from afar, Victor notices that Zheng Xi, who is seated near the front door, already seems to be in a stance ready to bolt at any moment. Victor can’t help but feel hungry as he feels himself being infected by the sight.

[PHYSICS]:

Is it really possible for anyone to stay alert and not feel sleepy in the first class of the afternoon?

Yes, Victor doesn’t feel sleepy in the slightest.

[MUSIC]:

“Aside from focusing on studies, I hope that everyone can enhance their perception of various forms of “aesthetics.” This semester in music class, the teacher aims to create a platform for self-expression, where each student can showcase their talents through musical instrument performances, singing, or dancing. Last week, several students performed exceptionally well. Now, we’ll continue with the presentations in order of student numbers. Up next is student number 23.”

“Does the vice class monitor know how to play the piano?”

“I’m not sure, I’ve never seen him playing it.”

“I’m already a mature high school student,” he thinks to himself, feeling at a loss for words.

One of the biggest benefits of the campus activities on Thursday is that Victor can seamlessly participate in the Model United Nations (MUN) right after his English class.

Even if one practices their lines in advance, no one will raise an eyebrow. The school administration teacher is really nice.

Reflection I don't quite remember when I started RPing, but I know I started on devART yearsssss ago, cringe ass days (only cause wow my writing sucked LOL). At some point I ended up migrating to tumblr in the 2012 ... 2013? Era??? And I've been here ever since LOL.

Do you have any writing routines? uhhh massive hiatus??/ LOL no but on serious note it usually is just inspiration striking or making time for it; if I end up making time for it, I tend to play brown noise in the BG while I write (or rain sounds) so i can focus. if i get lost in the sauce i just kinda. Do it.

What's your favorite part about writing? Character development!!!!!! My primary OCs I've had over the years have developed primarily through tumblr/writing/rp partners; Sylvie is one example, then my previous booboo which was Hideki, then my Bleach OC I brought over when I came onto tumblr

Three things you like about your writing:

I second Ash on dialogue cause Sylvie is fucking chatty as hell, so a lot of the personality comes out through how they talk + secondary gestures

I like my voice!! I usually try to write how I think + speak, and I like how it comes out in my writing

I'd like to think it's digestible writing? <:)

A question for the next person! Write a question for the next person to answer. Once you've answered it, leave a new question for someone else to answer. From Ash: Is there a character from media you disliked that you then grow to really like because of a specific mun's portrayal?

Um, I can't say I have any characters I've disliked in particular...? At least not for Genshin, for Bleach I can definitely say ... I didn't dislike anyone there in particular (not counting minor characters that just left weird tastes in my mouth), but I've warmed up a lot to some characters due to writers there.

Especially since a lot of them put a lot of love and thought into their portrayals; Kaname Tousen has a special place in my heart due to a writer in the Bleach RPC that passed years ago due to health circumstances. I didn't dislike Tousen in any way tbf, but she wrote him (alongside the Starrk she had a ship with) in such a way with heart and love that I grew to love him and ache for him.

Same case with Childe—I never disliked him don't get me wrong, I thought he was cool as heck from the beginning, but it's the RPC writers that I associate with him that make me point and remember the portrayals I've seen; I often warm up to characters due to the writers.

"Panda, Bli and Scotty", Vi said like a shot, "They are the first three Muns, Miss T would think about when it comes to recommending anybody. I am gonna start with explaining why Scotty first, simply because they are the outlier if we go by fandom." Vi pursed her lips and ruffled a hand through her magenta bangs.

"Scotty - or as their URL on Tumblr says @countlessrealities - has been one of Miss T's oldest roleplaying partners and buddies", Vi explained, "They have been rping together since Miss T's Good Omens' days, so that's at least a couple years by now. During that time, Miss T tried out many different fandoms and muses and Scotty was always by her side. For Miss T, that is a sign of a good friendship.

"On the rp related note, Miss T also just likes how Scotty writes. Even if she does not know much about Rick and Morty, she can appreciate the passion and creativity, Scotty puts into their work. Much like Miss T, Scotty is a storyteller and world builder. Those are traits, she really likes in a writer. And Scotty is very good at depicting the unique quirks - including speech patterns - in their characters. Plus Rick and Morty just create a very unique rping dynamic by being who they are. Sure, getting used to them takes a bit, but you gotta appreciate the nuances, Scotty pulls off."

"Miss T knows Bli, whom you will know as @jynxd, the shortest so her wanting to recommend her says a lot." Vi tsked in bemusement. "Like by Janna, they bonded quickly. Come to think of it: That ain't really a surprise. Miss T and Bli both are incredibly dark in their narrations and muses. They think scarily similar. They basically love to make stuff really bad for the muses in question, which sucks. At the same time, Miss T clearly enjoys bouncing ideas off with them. Bli was the first person to suggest some ideas for Zaun, which Miss T actually did not shut down."

She flexed her fingers and tested the puffer effect of her Atlast gauntlets. Vi admitted: "I can't blame her for it though. Miss T put a lot of work into the way her Zaun affects all of us. She became very protective over it due to this. So the fact that she allowed Bli to suggest things and found them fitting... Again, that just shows that Bli knows what Miss T is going for. Something, she deeply appreciates."

"Outside of that, Miss T also is in awe at Bli's writing. She loves how detailed and varied it is. She adores how layered each of Bli's characters is. My sister has grown ridiculously attached to Bli's Silco, much to my chagrin. I can't fault her for it though. After Miss T got ousted, she very much didn't have a proper Silco for my sister, so the fact that Bli began writing that two-faced asshole makes her very happy. Just as Miss T's Silco clearly has affections for Bli's Jinx. At least, Ekko has his head in the right spot. If he ain't high on Shimmer."

Vi's smile merged into a chuckle as she admitted: "Panda, whom you know as @ferinehuntress, share a history together and that shows a lot. They have been through some quite rough bullshit and they were each other's rocks through some really turbulent times. Those experiences glued them stronger together than most roleplay partners. I ain't exaggerating when I say that Panda is one of Miss T's best friends on this side and they are incredibly close for an online friendship."

Vi's eyes drifted into the distance as she recounted: "Miss T was originally drawn to Panda because of how well she wrote. Her writing style made Miss T really excited, even if back then, she didn't care much for Caitlyn. I am not sure who followed whom first, but Miss T actually allowed me to get to know a Caitlyn. I am not exaggerating when I say that without Panda and her Cupcake, I wouldn't even really be here. Sure, I may have been a muse, but I would have been not nearly as strong as I am nowadays. Plus, Panda got Miss T excited about shipping me and Cait. Which is pretty unusual as she is more a fan of toxic and dark ships."

"Panda's world-building is no small feat", Vi concluded, "They have some of the most creative lore and headcanons the Mun has ever seen. Their Piltover is very much what Miss T envisions nowadays whenever she thinks about Piltover. It ties into her version of Zaun far too well. That amazing world-building is backed up by characters, which are just as complex and nuanced and beautifully constructed. Miss T can talk with Panda about so many creative things and she never gets tired of it."

RULES & REGULATIONS.

i. speed / before you follow.

I am sloth slow. I am a full-time carer for my partner and I will always prioritise irl over roleplay. Sometimes I don’t have the energy to be conversational while I am dash active - these two things require different flavours of energy. Do not get passive-aggressive with me over this, as I will end whatever it is we have going on in a heartbeat. This is a hobby, not a job. Sometimes I burn out, and I want to write, not chat. I am happy to chat when I can, but do NOT rush me. This blog is 21+. I HAVE ADHD, DEPRESSION & ANXIETY, this can sometimes factor into my activity at times, also. This blog is canon compliant. I am in the process of learning about the Dragon Age universe. I will slip up in regards to Dragon Age, pls be patient.

ii. on villains.

  I will never hold the actions of a character against the writer of that character. I will also never villainise anyone who writes a villain, either. This applies to ALL villain writers that may or may not pop up. If you are someone who struggles to separate mun from muse, then this blog is absolutely not for you. I am tired of 200 note threads of fluff, smiles and smut, and want to delve into the dark, the nitty-gritty and the unpleasant. This is a judgement free zone.

iii. speaking with the writer.

I do not tolerate passive-aggressiveness. This really shouldn’t need to be a rule, but it happens often enough that it has to be. I don’t like guilt tripping, either, and will be taking full advantage of the block feature should it happen. If you have an issue with me, take it up with me on your own. I am a reasonable person, but I am not a mind reader and I am more than happy to sit and hash out whatever might be bothering you so we can reach a – hopefully – peaceful resolution and move on from it. If not? It can run its course in an amicable fashion. I am understanding and there will be no hard feelings. I also do not appreciate being ganged up on, as has happened in the past. DO NOT PATRONISE ME. It makes me uncomfortable and I will not continue our threads. PLEASE DO NOT INITIATE PLOTTING WITH SMUT RIGHT OFF THE BAT. 

iv. shipping.

On the topic of shipping, I am multiship. I practise ship exclusivity, and will only be writing romantic interactions with one of a single canon/companion character. I prefer this to go both ways. If not possible I am willing to explore platonic interactions, too. The IC chemistry needs to be there, and I will not just ship for the hell of it. I am incredibly picky as I do not write to just ship. There also needs to be some semblance of OOC comfort when talking with the writer, too. I do write smut, but it takes a while for me to get comfortable enough to write it.

For player characters: I do not mention their default romances, lest it become off-putting to anyone I try to write with. I do not go into interactions expecting to ship right off the bat. In character and out of character chemistry will prevail over anything else.

v. triggers and tagging.

When it comes to tagging triggers, I tend to use fairly simple tags so the blacklist can snatch it really, really quickly. Example: Blood. If you need something specific tagged, please don’t hesitate to come to me to ask. I will throw a tag on it as soon as I am able to. I ask for neon colours to be tagged as eye strain. Please do not use double spacing in threads with me. I have ADHD and it hinders me being able to read large paragraphs of text, and I end up just rereading the same sentence over and over and over again.

In regards to smut, I do not use read mores. I do, however, tag it so blacklists can catch it. :)

( Lawrence is sat in the usual right-side chair. He is as professional as ever, paying no notice to his interviewee being a Greedent. In all fairness, the Greedent is sat very politely. )

Lawrence: Battle fans, hello, hello! I am Lawrence Renfield, the Unite Battle Network’s go-to guy for making special content just for you and today I have managed to snag a treat of an interview–

( The Greedent waves at the camera and squeaks. In the blink of an eye a redhead leaps up from behind it's chair and swings her arms around the back. The pokémon is unfazed. Lawrence is certainly fazed. )

Nina: HIIIYA!!

( She cackles and scratches the Greedent's head. Lawrence, meanwhile, recovers. )

Lawrence: –the Chucklefvcks themselves, Nina Vievin and Chuckles! Are you going to stay standing?

Nina: Nahhh, I'll come down. If he'll let me.

( Chuckles, on cue, looks directly up to Nina. He reaches into his neck fur, retrieves a berry, and offers it to her. She shakes her head. Chuckles hops off the chair and sits between the two chairs to munch on the oran himself as Nina swiftly takes his seat. )

Lawrence: Please don't stain the carpet... So, Nina! This is 3 years in the making?

Nina: ... Oh fuck I guess– wait can I swear on here?!

( Lawrence looks to the cameraman. )

Cody: I mean, they are called "the chucklefucks".

Lawrence: ...we will see in editing.

Nina: I'll try be clean. But, uhhhh, OH YEAH. 6 if you count B.C.

Lawrence: B..?

Lawrence & Nina: Before Chuckles.

( Nina nods as the Greedent looks to both of them. He resumes eating quickly. )

Lawrence: What was life like B.C.?

Nina: MISERABLE!!

( Nina and Lawrence laugh. )

Nina: It was fine I guess? Like I battled but only really as something to do. Got bored of it for a while. Stopped and then I got Chuckles.

Lawrence: What got you back into battling then?

Nina: CHUCKLES! Someone let slip Skwovet are legal and he would not let me anywhere near the place without going for a battle. I started enjoying it once we changed his build to be very tanky–

Lawrence: Once you discovered you could troll people?

Nina: Pretty much, yeah. Once I discovered I could really piss people off– SORRY.

( Lawrence shakes his head with a strained smile. Nina awkwardly laughs while covering her face, sliding down in her chair. Lawrence takes a breath to regain his composure. )

Lawrence: Was your immediate thought "I can make content from this" or did the online stuff come after?

( Nina pushes herself back up enthusiastically. )

Nina: Nah, the vids came after a Tinkatok of Chuckles wiping the same Wigglytuff twice went viral. The maker was a teammates girlfriend who was up with us in the-the-the... bits where we watch and talk from!

Lawrence: Stands?

( Nina begins cackling and kicking her feet. Her laugh devolves into crazed wheezing; Chuckles waddles over to the edge of her chair. With tears in her eyes, she strokes his head to calm herself. Lawrence has stopped laughing by this point and seems greatly concerned. Nina's voice is still croaky when she speaks. )

Nina: I'm good, I'm good. Heeeh... The Decidueye guy was soo p– malding.

Lawrence: I take it you're enjoying your time in the professional world?

Nina: I'm acclimating. I get to still screw with people. While I'm still quite low tier at least. As long as it doesn’t hinder teammates. I think we're getting better at actually playing. Chuckles' got mvp a few times, scored like 200 at some point.

Lawrence: Impressive!

( To show his enthusiasm he looks to Chuckles, who completely ignores him. )

17. 'The Seven Deadly Skele-Sins' follows the story of an incredibly traumatized skeleton monster blackmailed into doing burlesque work. The leader of one of the two gangs in the city, Nightmare, saves him from an attack, and they slowly become friends, and eventually the gang leader reveals who he is to the blackmailed monster. After some plot points, training, etc, the blackmailed skeleton decided to officially join the gang as the Seventh Sin, Lust. There's also the several Warriors fics my brain has suddenly shoved into my eyes, the most prominent one being (name might change) 'Dripstar's Protection', where a loner becomes the leader of a Clan, and he and his Clanmates' arrival saves the other three Clans from further destruction of themselves.

19. I started when I was four, and it's been going pretty well, I guess. People would always tell me my writing and reading ability was far higher than the other kids, but nowadays? I'm clearly slowing down and I almost seem to be getting dumber or something. It's getter harder to read, speak, and occasionally write. 23. My writing environment is very commonly in the comfort of my room. I usually sit or lay down on my three blanketed bed, the lowest layer being a thin, pale blue, and cool sheet. The second being a thicker, warmer and fluffier blanket of the same colour, and the third being a light yet heavy light brown comforter, the underside of the sectioned comforter a ghostly brown, almost white. The sheet covering the scratchy white mattress is also the same shade of blue as the previously mentioned blankets. It's slowly peeling off, and needs to be reattached to the mattress soon. There are three store-bought pillows on the bed, the longest being the farthest back: a red and black checkered item with a black cover. The two other pillows on it is a pillow with a pale grey cover, and a scrunched up white pillow with a red cover. There is a large and worn Panda Pillow Pet resting on the red pillow, a slightly less used and smaller panda to the left of it. The smaller Pillow Pet is barely propped against a big homemade pillow, it is cyan and fluffy, and a much smaller homemade pillow of the same style rests on it. It's top side is also cyan and furry, but the bottom is smooth and soft, a lace design of faded white on it. An additional store-bought pillow is propped against the homemade one. It has a black cover, and it is very feeble and easy to bend. This pillow rests under the three blankets, which means 3/4 of it is covered. For comfort, 13 plushies of different designers and styles are scattered across the messy bed and pillows. A Fresh!Ink plushie is tucked under the blankets. Two handmade insect plushies sit on the big fluffy pillow, their colours like the Asexual flag: black at the front, grey next, then white, and lastly purple, with their little nubs of legs reflecting the colour they are attached to, four white eyes on the black section, and crooked grey antennae attached to the dark head as well. Behind the insect plushies, and again, on the largest pillow, the smallest homemade headrest -one the size of a hand-held purse, covered in cyan fur as well,- acts as a blanket for three Pikmin toys: red on the left, blue in the middle, and yellow on the right. Their stalks of leaves, bulbs and flowers lay on a large, cylindrical corgi plushie that is wearing a corgi hat, and has a paler and smaller corgi plush standing on all four paws on its bright orange back. Directly above the smaller panda Pillow Pet, a ferret toy lies. It's name is Minty, and it is a replacement of the original ferret plush, Vainilla. Next to Minty, a kangaroo Squishmallow named Ross lies on its back, staring with its beady black eyes up to the white ceiling. The side of the bed that is against the wall sits two gargoyle plushies. They're clearly Squishmallow ripoffs, but they're cute anyways. Finally, stuffed away to the open side of the bed, a tiny and old hedgehog stuffie hides under the large homemade pillow, tucked away under it.

ABOUT THE MUN: First thing's first, let me introduce myself. My name is Shannon and I have been roleplaying on this hellsite since 2011. I've been through many blogs, one such including a Clara Oswald that I made after Rings of Akhatan aired on television. Only recently did I decide to raise back the mantle as I missed writing on tumblr and was watching the new Doctor Who and realized how much I missed writing in the fandom and writing as Clara specifically, so here I am. I am 28 and I use she/her/hers pronouns.

RULES, PROPER.

CANON COMPLIANT?: I write Clara as multiple things, being both in canon and out. I want to write Clara in multiple universes, so I welcome crossovers, be them having Clara visit your world or you being put with the Doctor! The TARDIS is great for being a bridge between worlds, and thankfully we have many TARDIS here.

REPLY TIMES: I am a full-time worker who is also acting in my free time. I am auditioning and filming on multiple sets in my free time and paid time off. I also am married and am trying to be better at having a social life outside of the internet so please do not expect fast replies. I am bad at either writing things super fast and hitting reply immediately, or I am trying to make a mold of my body on the couch and don't want to move. I try to queue things so there is that but I like replying to things and getting more things up.

SPEAKING OF WRITING, I am very bad at writing small things. Apparently I held back from writing for so long that whenever I begin a reply my brain decides I need to have at least 500 words minimum with no double spaces. Please never feel like you need to match length. I use small text and icons and do not care how you write or what your style is. If anything is hard for you to read on my page please let me know and I'll do my best to change things for our replies, but my default is small text, long replies, and icons that keep moving down my writing because where is Clara emoting the specific icon? It's a very detailed process.

SHIPPING: So, you know the joke about characters being boiled down to seeming like they're constant flirts? Like, you need to spritz them with water like a cat who is doing something bad? Yeah, that's not really what it is like here. Clara is a flirt always but, depending on verse and timeline wise, she might be more subdued about it. Flirting can be a coping mechanism and a defense, especially if it is post Danny. I feel like Clara absolutely uses flirting and romantic encounters as ways to numb the pain and to get information that is needed. THIS DOES NOT MEAN I AM FORCING A SHIP. Please note, over everything, I ship chemistry. If it so happens I have chemistry with a lot of writers, so be it, but I want it to be natural. Shipping doesn't have to mean romantic, it can be any number of relationship type things. Give Clara platonic friends, one-sided romances, etc. I just want to write and expand Clara's universe.

SPEAKING IF SHIPPING, WHAT ABOUT SMUT: I don’t write it. I don’t judge people who do but I have never been good at writing it and it makes me uncomfortable so for my own personal reasons I have decided that I will not write it. I will write what leads up to it and am happy doing fade to black and then picking up the next morning. Thank you for understanding and if anything, I’m happy talking over IM or something to decide if le hanky panky was like… good or not? So I can have the character act accordingly? Because it’s not great and mind blowing every time and I like discussing because maybe that’ll affect our story but also maybe not.

🍓 What is something you and the mun disagree on? ━━ "Unfortunately the list would be much shorter if it was what we do agree on; my writer lacks quite a bit of common sense when it comes to dealing with people. Perhaps that is our deepest disagreement. Ultimately humans are whatever is most useful for the current frame; animals fueled by chemical reactions, a node in a network, an opportunity, or on rare occasions: a friend. However … regardless of their usage, learning what makes people "tick" is truly one of my favorite past times. I map people out: what triggers which emotional responses and what thoughts will come to them next. Over time and through careful watching I learn of their wounds and weaknesses, whatever strength they may have, their wants, desires, needs, likes, dislikes, their hopes, history, and habitual patterns. I leave no stone unturned, as all information is useful one way or another. People are naturally untrustworthy and as such I will know them better than they know themselves, especially their potential and their darkest aspects. After all, the better I know who I'm speaking with, the more the playing field is in my favor - even if they're only around to push an agenda or offer favors under the guise of friendship. It’s quite a riveting game of sorts, although most people, once the trivial and droll is sliced away, amount to nothing at all and can easily be removed from my life." There's a pause Robin delicately readjusts in his seat, his movements deliberate and unhurried. With a sense of quiet concentration, he brings his hands closer to his face, inspecting each nail with meticulous attention. Once satisfied they return to politely resting upon his lap, "But, oh, when those special flicks of light pass through the murk - I cannot get enough of them. These are the only people that will hold my attention for extended periods of time, and those are the ones - while I still research them - that I do hold dear to me. And it's ever more fun when people join me in my game, I prefer those who can keep up with me. Intelligence is a very attractive trait to me, and I do not enjoy wallowing about in the stupidity of so many. It isn't as though I'm incapable of human connection … it's just that most people are boring and think the same way as the rest of the rabble. I will put my entire effort, and heart, into the people that can capture and hold my interest; such finds are rare and I am no fool to toss them so swiftly. It is simply not worth the effort or time if I have no intention of furthering the relationship outside of a transactional or professional environment. I reserve my social graces for those who'll be around long enough to enjoy them." He clicks his tongue, "My writer, however, is a different story entirely; everyone is worth their time and everyone is "complex" person with feelings that matter. Hmph, I can only imagine why they're burnt out so often. It would do them well to readjust their manner of thinking; so much unncessary worry over those who don't matter, and useless things that will come to pass. They build their own anxieties through this - it is a shame they waste their talents. They have it in their mind that people are naturally good, that humanity is built and sustained through bonds of fellowship and love. I do not agree with this sentiment, it makes one vulnerable and leaves too many weak points for someone to stab into." His lips curl up into a smile, but there's an unsettling nature about the way his eyes remain cold and distant - and his cheeks do not lift his bottom lashes, "I do wonder which you fall under though; an important individual or just another cog.
