A small crowd, but the hardiest and most determined members of LHCF came to play. Shannon and Alicia arrived after just leaving their hair-dressers, but they bound up their locks and proceeded. Does that sound Victorian ?
Robert's season of basketball coaching is over. His Brentwood Academy team came in second in the state. What that means is that he will be at LHCF instead of at basketball practice/games. He even said he will hang around and watch us at our wine and snacks after-party on Thursday. As his Dad Bob-O would have said, "Thanks for the warning".
Continuing with Robert...we are making a road trip tomorrow. This is a very convoluted tale. We will be taking HIS mower on MY trailer, pulled by HIS gay Jeep, all the way up to Madison where the only lawn-mower repair person approved by Robert's recently departed Dad BoB-O has a shop. We will leave Robert's mower, and bring back MY serviced mower on MY trailer. Robert is required to take me to an expensive lunch of my choosing on our way back. As some of you are aware, Robert thinks that the highway lane adjacent to the median is HIS exclusive domain. This will result in many high speed rear-end approaches and near collisions accompanied by flashing lights, horns, and hand/finger gestures. The only possible salvation is that the doors have been replaced on the gay Jeep. Normally our extremities will be projecting into the jet stream. Somebody needs to pray.
The Thursday long range forecast predicts the temps will once again be in the 60's, with a less than 10% chance of rain. I put only slightly more faith in the short-term forecasts than I put in the long-term Global Climate Models. GCM's are much depended on by the Intergovernmental Panel On Climate Change (IPCC), but mathematicians say their formula's are not predictable beyond 14 days.
Oh well, we will have a workout on Thursday at 4 PM no matter what the weather. Wine and snacks will follow. Please come, workout, and party.
