johanna made blight's life hell before, during, and after the games to be brutally honest — she's stubborn, doesn't listen easily, and pulled a really tricky move in the arena that tied blight's hands as a mentor: if she hadn't pulled off the helpless act, he wouldn't have been able to do anything to help her and as a mentor that's a horrible place to be . . . but she made it out. hurt, wounded, but she made it out and the last year has been interesting for them as a duo. slowly after returning to seven, jo found herself leaning more on blight than she honestly wanted to — he understood when others didn't, and that helped, and things just developed from there. if you ask her point blank, he's just some dude she lives next to who annoys her — really, he's the closest person to her these days. very much an older brother / father figure in all but blood, and somehow they've become an unlikely close team. here's an inspo pinterest board because i'm unhinged.

cashmere has been in the capitol most of the time since winning her games, and between parties, events, and her " work " when it's not games season, she's had to rely heavily on her stylist both professionally and otherwise. they've known each other and worked together since she was sixteen, and after spending so much time together it was impossible to not create a connection — they've seen her at her best, and consistently have to see her at her worse. they're exceptionally well-loved in the capitol and their work has become a sensation following cash's games, and whether they're a part of the rebellion is up to player — if so, cash confides in them without question and they work together to help the rebellion in subtle ways, if not then they know something is up, but for the sake of their relationship they have a " i won't ask and you won't have to lie to me " policy. the vibes i get are nigel from the devil wears prada but everything is up to player / up to plotting, though! an inspo pinterest because i am, once again, unhinged.

our darling siren brooks ( halston sage ) has been searching the capitol high and low for their older brother who looks a lot like utp ( zac efron, paul wesley, jake miller, etc ). have you seen them? if so you should send them along this way, and you definitely do need to message britt ( sirenbrooks ).

the connection details :

the brooks family come from district four. siren and this character come from a family of five. your character is the oldest, siren is the middle child, and then they share a younger brother. siren and this character were very close, and when she got sent to the games - I imagine he did what he could do to ensure she would win (everything in his power) he could be a victor from a past game, or he could have never went into the games*! your choice! i would love to work out the dynamic especially since after she won and came back, she would have been struggling heavily with ptsd. I imagine her brother is a big part of the rebellion, thinks the games are sick and the capitol should be taken down.

* admin note : if this character is not a previous victor, siren would have had to apply for him to have capitol citizenship, and he would have to have left district four permanently !!

the connection details :

they were close before gloss' reaping, but nothing like they are now. whether he volunteered or not is entirely up to player, but his victory had consequences when cash got reaped the next year — while she did great on her own, it was gloss who worked tirelessly to get her out of that arena in one piece. whatever bond they had before can't compare to the team they are now. cash's life post-victory is what got her to turn to the rebellion, but ( again ) gloss' feelings for the games / capitol are all up to player, she loves her brother dearly regardless. basically, i want badass career siblings, please and thank you!
