I really love the idea that Jay is the only person Robin feels comfortable enough to be vulnerable with. To show when things hurt her, make her sad, etc. Not that she shows no emotion at ALL about Stuff™️ when talking to others but Jay is the only person who has ever seen Robin actually cry (that isn't immediate family obviously). Preconceived notions mean we expect it to be the other way around but idk, I adore Jay being able to be this rock for Robin in a way that's mutually healthy for both of them- eg Jay is never pressured into sidelining their own Stuff™️ to pick up Robins pieces, Jay is always happy to bend an ear (and is able to compartmentalise her stuff when she needs to), and of course when Jay is in a bad place Robin takes on the support role, so on and so forth. Healthy Jaybin Is Good Jaybin and I need it injected directly into my veins.
