Also no spoilers please I’m still waiting for the trolls band together movie 🍿 to get to Australia 🇦🇺 so I’m trying not to see any spoilers before I get a chance to see the movie and when I have time to go to the cinema to see it

Trolls lore headcanon time! (Featuring Branch, Clay, and Viva)

Branch had already been dealing with predators wanting to attack Pop Village for a while now.

Post Trolls (2016) he’s added alarms so that if there is something attacking he can be there and post TWT he’s gotten Poppy to agree with getting a more official defense system going and other trolls have volunteered to help. He unfortunately doesn’t have much experience training other trolls and more often than not continues to handle most physical conflicts on his own with occasional help.

Post TBT the putt putt trolls were originally gonna be their own thing per Viva’s request and while Poppy was sad she respected the fact Viva made herself home there. Unfortunately they didn’t know that the Bergens had seriously branched out outside of Bergen Town and the putt putt course was on country territory.

This would have been very bad considering the alliance that Poppy had worked for with the other tribes and although Delta was more accepting now a days this would definitely be an insult to the country trolls who predominantly held a grudge and a fight could break out.

Poppy had to explain this to Viva and then again to the Putt Putt trolls who on one hand, understood the situation, but on the other did not feel 100% comfortable living in a village that had erased them from history.

This lead to both Peppy making an official apology to both the putt putt trolls and the village trolls and Poppy admitting to the fact that her predecessor were far from perfect and how she’s working towards a better and honest future.

The Pop Trolls definitely had concerns concerning the mount rageons. Branch decided to share his power of head of defense with Clay and Viva so they could all work together to upgrade security. Branch’s strength in understanding the forest and it’s patterns, Clay in adding safety measures in the village, and Viva in creating an official training regiment for lookouts and guards.

Branch technically still holds the title with Clay being head of safety and Viva head of training/commander but when they need to push for a new idea they rely on Viva throwing in her weight of still being a royal pop troll.

Hypothetically if the Putt Putt Trolls ended up going feral and grey like the Grey Troll Village due to loss of hope and lack of contact with the outside world, how would Branch have reacted then?

They would be welcomed with opened arms to stay (since the grey trolls have gotten used to these behaviors thanks to the grey and feral (trolls?). The grey pop trolls would bond over being left behind (✨friendship~!!!✨) and Viva would be made a member of the council or some kind of co-leader, she and Branch would make a great friendship over their many similarities and being leaders.

The tribes would get along pretty well overall and bond over their similar lifestyles (maybe even share fighting tactics) the only downside would be Clay and Branch, Branch would try to help his brother with being grey (cause it’s his brother) and would also try and be very civil with him (even if a lot of resentment is there) Clay would treat branch like an animal would treat there baby (much to Branch’s annoyance)

The feral and Putt Putt trolls get along the best, they act like a bunch of puppies getting excited and playing with each other (Thing and Viva become surprisingly good friends)

Part 3 (last)

♦️When Bruce and Floyd's group we're escaping in the tunnels they lost their way, but did not turn back and kept walking forward till they saw an opening and heard waves. The trolls bump into the vacationers and Bruce susing them out to see if they're not a threat or similar to the Bergins. When they realize that the vacationers are very friendly and chill they joined in the vacation vibe. ( I wanted to add Bruce and Brandi's love story but I got a little too lazy and I didn't know how to start it, so I'm going to leave that up to you guys ) deep down Brandi wanted to go back to the tree and find her sisters and her father again but another part of her didn't want to deal with the reality if they were truly gone. So she stay in vacation island with Bruce and Floyd.

♥️ Once the pop trolls finally settled into pop Village Peppy wanted to separate himself from the tribe for being the only troll to lose his colors completely. Queen RosiePuff insisted on Peppy staying within the village but still creating a bunker far from them. Poppy on the other hand didn't lose her colors just decreased to a dull saturation. Both Peppy and Poppy mourning the loss of Brandi and Viva to always remembering the good times. Over the years Peppy engraves into Poppy's mind about how Bergens may come at any moment in which poppy grows up becoming more paranoid but always prepared for the unexpected while Peppy starts becoming more jaded and grumpy seeing how all the Pop troll live Carefree like they forgot the loved ones that they lost on that trollstice. Poppy deep down wants to socialize with the other pop trolls but following her father's advice that it's a waste of time she stays in her comfort zone till a blue haired Prince of Pop invites her to every party ( turning down the invitations but happy for the effort )

♠️ From fighting their way out of the grasp of the Bergins JD leads the trolls to hole-n-fun where he starts a civilization as best as he can. With John being overworked and messing up on paperwork Clay finally steps up to help and make things more efficient. Both brothers working their hardest to make hole-n-fun a safe home, so neither of them have time for parties or anything to lighten the mood. This is where Viva steps in and starts to bring trolls together and have a good time. This is where the brothers recognize Viva from 3 of a Kind, and JD without filter expresses that she was the "hyper one" or the "sugar addict". Viva respectfully making it very clear to both of them that she wants to keep her band days in the past and prefers to be more chill and relaxed, but Clay seen her potential in bringing trolls together and giving them hope makes her the official party planner of the Putt-Putt trolls. Viva being Viva takes the position to heart. While the brothers are managing the survival of the trolls Viva makes the whole experience a good time.

Asha, aka The Radio Troll, is one of the daughters of King Peppy. She's 35 years old. She was separated from Peppy and Poppy along with Viva, Clay and the Putt Putt Trolls during the Great Escape (she would've been roughly 15 at the time) hence why her colours are gone from her being a teen onwards. However there's a catch. Typically, grey trolls attempt to regain their colour...Asha didn't. The belief that the rest of her tribe besides the Putt Putt Trolls were dead caused her to make a rather crazy decision. Asha, in a way, embraced the darkness that her lack of colour brought. By giving up her colours and awakening said darkness, Asha was given abilities related to her job as a radio hostess such as:

- Her radio dial eyes which she can trigger either on command or as a result of intense anger.

- She is able to put a radio effect over her voice with or without her mic. This means she can distort her voice to intimidate others when needed.

- She can glitch out the screens of electronic devices simply by looking at them.

(Yes before my inbox gets flooded with the same question, I did get inspo for Asha's abilities from Alastor from Hazbin Hotel.)

After the escape, Asha ended up at Hole N' Fun. Viva was the fun, Clay "took care of the boring stuff" and Asha was the entertainment in the form of radio. In terms of personality, Asha is rather difficult to explain. She isn't entirely bad...but she isn't entirely good either. She's definitely resentful towards her father for not attempting to search for them and Asha couldn't go herself because Viva couldn't risk losing another sister. In Asha's eyes, Peppy found it easier to assume she was dead.

Trolls - having an egg on the way is known as an 'Eggnancy" 😂

BroZone - when the brothers weren't sure how to reconnect, they ended up playing rummy together.

Bruce - has attempted to set up John Dory on a date with Brandy's sister.

Bruce - kept having kids because he and Brandy wanted at least one daughter. When they finally had LaBreezy they decided to stop.

Bruce - learned to surf to get Brandy's attention when they first met. Ended up falling in love with surfing before Brandy fell for him. 😁

Clay - the Putt-Putt Trolls didn't have a sad book club as they had no books! After the reunion Clay was very excited about the vast new collection of books he could get his hands on!

Clay - finds out that he was Poppy's favourite Brozone member when she was little and doesn't he just boast about it any chance he gets!

Clay - for Clay to finally forgive John Dory, JD agreed to perform for the brothers+Poppy and Viva in ONLY the funderdrawers. "Do you feel like you're having 76% more fun yet John? Cause I am!" *Camera snap*

John Dory - he doesn't let it show but his ears are constantly twitching to check for danger, a side effect of living in the wilderness alone for so long.

John Dory - sworn off ever having children.

John Dory - pretty scrappy at self defence, can hold his own when boxing.

Floyd - did a few red carpet appearances during his solo era, he felt very out of place. @ssippingwaterfalls 💕

Floyd - after the Mount Rageous incident he gets a little bit reckless without realizing it. He has an "I just survived death so cliff jumping isn't scary anymore' kinda attitude.

Floyd - can read palms and tarot cards.

Branch - Kismet were the ones that originally got him hooked on ring pops.

Branch - learns phrases in other languages to build relationships with subgenre tribes of Trolls. E.g the K-Pop and Reggaeton Trolls.

Branch - started building the bunker while he was still living in the group home with other Trollings.

Poppy - wishes that Branch would initiate physical contact more often.

Viva - calls the older brothers Mr.Bruce and Mr.JD (Clay told her to)

Rhonda - when she was a baby she was more like a big suitcase than a vehicle.

Cooper - is actually smarter and more capable than he let's on (quote from Brooklyn 99, "If people knew how smart I was it would be harder to control them.")

Here are some sad Trolls headcanons/scenarios that won't leave my head (I try to put them in a timeline order)

Floyd left expecting to come back eventually. What it took to leave BergenTown made him scared of coming back for a long while.

Since Indie sub-genres are basically all also sub-genres of other genres (Indie Pop, Indie Folk, etc) maybe there's a tribe of Indie trolls out there that are just a bunch of trolls descended from the other main six tribes. (I sometimes imagine Floyd spent a lot of time there in the 20+ years he was gone)

Clay used to scratch his arms/wrists when he was mad as a kid. They had him wear wristbands to help, and he actually loved the feeling of wearing them.

Floyd could stop any fight between his brothers by crying. This how he ended up known as "the sensitive one"

One of the bros tried to convince Branch John Dory was actually his dad. He cried, because he didn't want his bros to not be his bros anymore. John Dory was mad about this prank because of how upset it made Branch, and because he never wanted to replace their parents.

This "date" made Spruce feel so uncomfortable, he threw up when he got home. He pretended he was just sick, and John Dory never stopped apologizing for convincing him to go out while he was "sick." (image from Branch's clueboard, cleaned up by @kittyball23)

In general, I think the ages of BroZone at the time of the break-up were Young Adult, Teen, Preteen, Child, and Baby.

Grandma Rosiepuff geniunely expected the other bros to come back after a bit of time. They'd fought before, and they always made up.

Branch went gray not just because Grandma sacrificed herself for him, not just because he lost the only family of his that stayed. But also because he failed her. He failed to keep her safe. And he failed his brothers who trusted him to look after their grandma.

Creek was always manipulative and toxic af. During the big escape, his shoved Branch out of the way. (no one ever believed Branch when he said it was on purpose.

Someone helped Branch get back up and keep going so he wasn't left behind. He never got a good look at who it was. He used to imagine finding them and becoming a sort of found family with them.

It was Clay. He saw Creek shove another kid out of the way (obviously on purpose). But he didn't recognize who the gray troll kid was. He just quickly got the kid up and moving so he could go back and look for Branch and Grandma (this is how he ended up left behind with Viva and the Putt-Putt trolls).

People tried to look out for Branch while he was still a kid. But he liked to keep his distance, so they all did, too. They weren't ever able to help him get his color back, anyway. (Poppy was the only one who never gave up trying to help him)

Everyone kind of agreed to stop bringing up the trolls left behind around King Peppy (and in extension Poppy) because it's cause him to completely shut down. It looked like he might go gray, too.

Clay developed some self-destructive habits after arriving at the golf course. He thought he failed to save his baby brother. He was very good at keeping it hidden. Eventually he improved through sheer stubbornness. He keeps the old wristbands as a comfort, and to cover scars. (Literally no one but him knows)

John Dory interacted with a few other survivalists on the Neverglade Trail. Maybe he had an opportunity to "settle down" with one of them. But the guilt of leaving his brothers behind started eating him up, so he ran. (who knows, maybe he has a kid he doesn't know about)

When John Dory tried coming home, it was a few years after the escape from the Troll Tree. He saw it empty and thought it meant the Bergens had finally eaten every last troll. Maybe some of his brothers escaped. But the way he saw it, the younger the brother, the more likely they didn't make it. John Dory was convinced his baby brother was dead.

John Dory didn't have very much memorabilia when he first left. When he returned to the Troll Tree empty, he took as much stuff as he could carry without being scared of getting caught.

Bruce really wanted to invite his younger brothers to his wedding, but he didn't have a way to contact them. John Dory was the only one he had any way of reaching.

That postcard to John Dory was sent because he was desperate to reach out to ONE of his brothers, but he didn't want to have that reconciliation or fight at his wedding. So it's a mostly blank postcard. (John Dory cried, because it was confirmation one of his brothers was alive.)

Bruce named his daughter Rosie, after Grandma Rosiepuff. (he thought of naming some of his sons after his presumed dead younger brothers, but that felt wrong when he changed his own name to distance himself from them and the band)

Poppy might have briefly had a bit of a crush on Creek. This makes the betrayal all the more devastating.

At some point between the events of the first movie and Floyd getting captured, he crossed paths with Creek. They briefly had a fling, but eventually, Creek's toxicity became too much, and Floyd went left for someplace new. (And Creek might have been arrested in the Indie Mountains.)

None of the other troll tribes knew the Pop Trolls were annually being eaten alive for so many years. Some find their ability to keep so cheery and positive after all that to be actually impressive.

Peppy is doing therapy with Mr. Dinkles because the events of World Tour made him realize he doesn't have a good way of coping with things. (Running, hiding, and keeping secrets aren't actually good in the long run.)

Crimp experienced some major abuse from Velvet and Veneer. Yet she never tried leaving the job as their assistant because it was the only job she could get.

John Dory, Bruce, and Clay never expected to see Branch grown up. They didn't know how to react to/treat him like a grown up when they first saw him again.

Floyd genuinely thought he'd die in that bottle, even if the bros managed to hit the perfect family harmony. At that point, he was so drained, his hair was almost entirely white, and he couldn't even stand himself up. But the idea that the last thing he'd ever see would be his brothers singing and dancing together like old times made him happy.

The perfect family harmony undid most of the physical damage Floyd experienced. But he still feels a sort of phantom pains sometimes. His legs will feel numb and tingly. Stretching helps.

Velvet tried to completely throw her brother under the bus after they got arrested. She tried to blame him for everything, tried to claim she was forced to go along with it. Veneer's confession, Crimp's testimony, and just the way she slowly took more and more of the spotlight away from her brother kept her from getting her way. Veneer even got a lighter sentence than she did.

So I'm not sure if you add in lore from The Beat Goes On or Trollstopia, or if your only focusing on the movies, but some very interesting things that come about from both animated series is that it really adds to Branch's adorable character and canonized the fact that pretty much everyone adores him, awkward dorkiness and all. He's very, very goofy, and I love him.

Some of my favorite funfacts from the series is that Branch goes to 4AM Raves after being introduced to the concept (originally due to a compromise because the TechnoTrolls were using his favorite hot spring for it turned to a genuine love), likes all types of music after being introduced to it, loves puzzles to an obsessive degree along with his other more natural OCD tendencies, and actually did take part in all the different Holidays and traditions of the Pop Trolls even while be was gray but did so form the safety of his bunker. Its also during these series we get the first hints the bunker meant more to Branch than what we had originally thought.

My favorite favt is the one about the rave, though. Just imagine they all get back from the events of Band Together, after JD got his rights punched out by Barb and they all take some time to rest and relax, and then the brothers are woken up by Branch trying to sneak out at like 4 in the morning (he's not used to people in the bunker and has gotten used to not having to sneak around anymore after everything) and find out it's because their adorable, mute baby brother is going to a RAVE with some technotroll who keeps calling him Dubstep.

There's a reason why I put up a poll, the result changes the storyline of trollstopia

About 2 months after Floyd's rescue and the integration of the Putt-Putt trolls, Poppy comes up with the idea of Trollstopia. After everything that's happened, she realizes that the Pop trolls are behind in many things, like medicine, education, and engineering. They've mastered agriculture, effective natural remedies (with the exception of Branch due to him being rare case), and the art of desserts but not much else. If Trollstopia works, every troll will benefit from it.

Poppy pitches this idea to Branch and his brothers (Bruce is back at Vacay Island and visits often thanks to the Flier Bugs.). They think it's a good idea, but it will take the cooperation of every tribe to make it work. Aside from Branch and JD, none of the other trolls have been in one place together for an extended period of time. Floyd rarely went to the other genres territories, Bruce has only interacted with the occasional Techno troll that washed up on the shore, and Clay's never left the Putt-Putt course. Poppy urges that this would be a great step to achieve Harmony, even if it'll be hard. Branch agrees to help with the condition that he can invite the sub-genre tribes. Poppy readily agrees, and so begins the first step of Trollstopia

Currently writing and re-writing the lore and timeline for my Three Of A Kind AU.

But here is the timeline/order for the events that happened,(Feel free to ask about anything)

-Brozone breaks up (24 years before the first movie)

-Clay returns (one or two weeks?)

-Floyd starts his solo career and befriends DJ Suki and Guy Diamond (A month later)

-Grandma Rosiepuff's dies.Clay ,Floyd and Branch turn grey but not completely (3 years later)

-Poppy's egg was born,her mom dies (On that year's Trollstice)

-The Great Escape happens (A year later on the Last Trollstice)

-Branch trips...the tunnels start to collapse...Clay goes back for him...King Peppy grabs Floyd.

-Floyd escapes with the rest of the Pop Trolls.He thinks Clay and Branch died as they were never found when King Peppy went back.Floyd becomes completely grey.

-Clay manages to save Branch before they get crushed by the debris.But getting trapped on the other side.Clay tries to look for another tunnel exit...Only to be knocked out by some falling rocks and get trapped underneath it.

-Viva finds them and tries to help Clay.She hands Branch to Zandra and Clover and instructs them to take him and the 4 other trollings that were left behind and some other trolls to the exit unaware that it had collapsed.

-She gets Clay out just as he wakes up.Only to hear the screams of the trolls that Viva sent out.They discovered that the path had collapsed twice and killed the trolls that were trying to use the path.Branch was in that group...

-Clay turns completely grey.He and Viva take the remaining trolls and escape through another tunnel exit.

-Zandra and Clover found the collapsed tunnel.Some trolls tried to move it but they don't have enough time.The roof was about to collapse.

-Zandra sees a small tunnel opening on the wall.She and Clover lif the 5 trollings into the tunnel.

-Clover manages to get in...just before the roof collapses.

-Clover ends up raising the five trollings

-The Putt-Putt Trolls were formed (A month later)

-Clover and the trollings were found by the Classical trolls. (3 years later)

-Floyd finds Copper's egg

-They soon meet the other troll tribes (each having a different amount of time spent with)

-Kismet was formed (???)

-The events of the first movie take place (17 years later)

-Trolls World Tour happens (A month later)

-Branch got kidnapped (two weeks before TWT)

-Trolls Band Together happens (A week after TWT)

- Putt Putt Trolls like yourself are the first Trolls to be part of a new category after Trolls World Tour introduced the Trolls being identified by their genre of music they based their cultures around thus it marked the return of the older classification - When in Trolls world tour when they went to grab clay you popped out from your fluffy golf ball form with the other putt putt trolls and made eyecontact with John dory and the others - You know the loud scream when Putt Putt Trolls call burgers "meat circles" because the word "burger" sounds like "Bergen" yeah that loud scream was you who literally ran away and rolled away - Turns out you were Viva is bestfriend when everybody got seperated so you were also one of the main defenders of putt putt village - You stood out to John dory with your frizzy or straight hair with your f/c colored hue so a Troll in the Tribe who has blue hair has a similar tone or color body and outfit like you and your f/c body wearing a wool outfit and the similar pattern diamond design - John dory was pulled in by you who was standing beside Clay and Viva protectively eyeing the group down - John dory went over to you and tried to talk to you buy you took a step back in panic cause you really haven't had interactions with others who weren't fellow putt putt trolls - When they took Clay you were gonna chase after them but stayed behind with Viva - After the misson to save floyd - Clay invited all of them to come with him and Viva to have a better look around Putt putt village John dory eyes widened when seeing you again - John dory couldn't help but want to make conversation with you and was interested on how you survived from the bergens like the other putt putt trolls

- TOUCH-STARVED! HE IS TOUCHED STARVE! GIVE HIM HIS AFFECTION! He's love struck when you pepper his face with kisses

- He explores alot so he'd invite you to come with him exploring you both still visit Branch and the others but you both enjoying exploring together for fun - Yet he knew you were still scared of bergens so he tried to help you get rid of that fear which kind of worked - John dory loves you and kisses your cheek

- Dancing together to brozones songs or to songs that you both enjoy.

- he calls you randomly when your mid-conversation with someone and complains to you about how much he misses you

- You two end up on going on a couple of dates with eachother giggling and smiling

When I first drawn my trolls putt putt golf tribe kids ocs ideas

I mean i know through trolls world tour the other music troll tribes each of them have kids so being as the tribe of trolls Viva been taking care of is its own tribe that’s been cut off from all the tribes and didn’t know about Bergens being friendly to trolls now so they may have their own little group of kids in the tribe as well

My guess the troll kids from putt putt golf tribe would be very good at hiding; very good at finding food and things and very fit being as I’ve heard the putt putt trolls train a lot in case of attacks

And done with some good luck trolls dreamworks trolls inspiration #drawings ideas to design some trolls ocs witch I have named putt putt and jellybean and I believe they are trolls kids living in the abandoned Bergen putt putt golf course that Viva’s lost tribe of trolls lives in: the new trolls band together movie isn’t due to be out in Australia 🇦🇺 until November but I’ve seen some trailers & from those I’ve seen the putt putt golf trolls disguise themselves as golf balls in case a Bergen pops up so putt putt hatch around some of golf balls while jellybean hatch in a bag of jellybeans thus their names 🎨✏️🐾✨💕🌈

just a Brynth universe I've been thinking about

the different futures or universes fill my mind, the different ways these two were able to come together I really love it.

I have this little au? in which the pop and the tribes in general are somewhat similar to the putt-putt, some more hostile others more distrustful

Yeah, things aren't going so well in this place, back to the point

the characters here are a little younger, to be more specific they are teenagers

Poppy is not queen and King Peppy is a distrustful madman, the pop trolls became more careful with the 'visitors'

branch is gray here and is still a complete hermit, he doesn't trust king and vice versa

Things get more complicated when synth appears being chased and somehow branch ends up hiding/taking care of him

They fall in love but end up having a super dramatic and sad farewell (which is the scene that made me create this au in the first place)

then the first and second movie happens with several changes and finally the third (also different) because I love thinking about how his brothers deal with all 'this' and because viva is incredible and king peppy already had too many misfortunes xd

I would write a mini fanfic about this but I don't have time and I think I would abandon it and I DON'T want that to happen, so I better leave this here before it disappears

So some ideas that I think would be cool for the Borrower au (that you are completely free to ignore or veto):

The Borrower trolls do end up moving into the village but they pull a Canon Branch and immediately start building a series of Ant-like tunnels under it. Both Peppy and Poppy worry about them collapsing like the escape tunnels but eventually are convinced to let them do it.

Borrower trolls have a bit of a skewed sense of ownership. Like they respect sentimental objects but otherwise it's the Classic Borrower idea of "is it useful? Will you notice its absence? Good it's ours now."

To outsiders it's almost impossible to tell the difference between a regular Pop troll and a Borrower troll. After Barb's invasion this accidentally gains the whole tribe the reputation for being 'Preppy Neon Sleeper Agents'. This reputation is strengthened when the Putt-Putts come into the picture.

Ooooh I love these ideas and I’ll expand on it. When borrower trolls are reintroduced into troll society the other pop trolls have no idea how to interact with them. For one they don’t party much afraid it could lead a dangerous critter to them. So it hard to get them to join in group activities were there is going to be a good amount of noise. Not to mention that if anyone feels threatened at any time they can go in four different survival reactions. Defenders usually go for fight, scavengers go for freeze/hide, rescuers go for fawn and caretakers are a toss up which can be very dangerous for whoever makes them feel threatened. the first time regular pop trolls saw branch take down a large critter with no sweat was definitely surprising. They’ve also developed harder skin to deal with the rough ground in Bergen town

Secondly their diets have changed drastically since they were used to scavenging for any scraps of food they could get their hands. It’s not uncommon to catch borrower trolls taking discarded foods from the trash or even just storing away any food items given to them. And pop trolls sorta had trouble feeding the caretaker trolls because they literally refused to eat until all the younglings did.

And gift giving is a nightmare because of how practical these trolls are. Now the first time someone gave hype a gift our boy immediately broke it apart and basically only kept the parts that he could use for traps or another invention. It wasn’t until the troll who gave him it started crying did he understand that’s not a normal thing to do. So yeah gifts need to be practical especially clothing.

Now while some borrowers look basically the same as others trolls that’s not the case for many as their roles in the compound influenced their outfits drastically. For example scavengers wear things that can blend in with their surroundings so now that they live in the forest they wear floral clothing mostly consisting of green leaves or flowers that can blend into the environment. Caretakers wear soft and simple clothing so the children can recognize them immediately. Rescuers and defenders wear any protective clothing anything that can hold together in a fight and they’ll wear it. But if you didn’t know that about them then yes you’d have absolutely no idea you’re talking to someone who could snap your neck in less than a second and who’d use your body as critter bait

But there are still some things that are similar. Like hugs, now you might think they’d all be touch averse because of living in Bergen town for so long. But actually hugs and physical contact helped a lot of trolls when they lived under the bergens. It took away some of the stress and anxiety that living there caused and it helped them stay connected to each other even when words were hard to find. And music is another thing that they hold dear, now just because they couldn’t play loudly didn’t mean they didn’t listen to music at all. In fact lullabies and and soft instrumental songs were loved by all no matter the age

Anyway yeah they’ve all changed a lot since the troll tree. But they still are trolls and that doesn’t change just because they’re different now. Just means others need to be more accommodating

Back To The Beginning: In a special 30-minute flashback episode, we get a glimpse into BroZone’s earlier days before Branch was born, and how they first came together to perform as a band. Meanwhile, a young Princess Viva worries she’s too weird to make friends with other Trolls, but eventually finds reassurance after crossing paths with Clay for the first time.

Cloud-Guy Support Group: After Viva becomes the latest victim of Cloud Guy’s annoying antics, Branch introduces her to the United Council Against Cloud Guy. They encourage her to vent her frustrations, but Viva still has trouble being open about her feelings and tries to avoid getting angry over it.

The Hard-Rock Life: Tired of getting ‘The Pity Treatment’ from every new Troll he meets, Floyd decides to take part in the Hard Rock Tribe’s annual Shred-Cathlon, hoping it will overshadow his experience in Mount Rageous and prove he’s not just a sensitive Pop Troll.

Not-Too-Sad Book Club: At a Sad Book Club meeting, one of Clay’s members suggests that they read a book from a fantasy scrapbook series, but Clay turns it down because it’s ‘not sad enough.’ But after taking a look at it while recovering from a cold, he becomes hooked and desperately tries to hide his new hyper-fixation from his friends.

Turning Tiny: Tiny Diamond is still insisting that he’s a grown-up and begins acting out at home, leaving Guy at a loss of what to do. He accompanies Poppy and Branch to Vacay Island, hoping it will be a good chance for them to reconnect, but is dismayed when Tiny prefers to hang out with Bruce and his kids.

It’s Snow Day Again?!: Both Branch and Poppy’s families have all come together to celebrate Snow Day, with John Dory and Viva especially hoping to make up for all the ones they missed while they were gone. When things don’t go the way they planned, they find themselves repeating Snow Day over and over again, trying to make a perfect Snow Day for their siblings.

Happy Mom-urday!: Once a year, Trolls have a special day to spend time with their mother’s called Mom-urday, but Viva gradually becomes annoyed by the festivities, preferring not to think about her late mom at all.

A Little Less Space: Floyd discovers he has developed claustrophobia after spending two months in a diamond bottle with no way out. Annoyed by this revelation, he tries to conquer this fear before word gets out, enlisting help from Synth and Laguna.

When Clay Met Viva (Again): Clay and Viva explain to a curious Poppy and Branch about how they met, retelling the story of how a young Clay stumbled upon Putt-Putt Village and met a young but traumatized Princess Viva for (unknown to them) the second time.

Someone’s In The Kitchen With Bruce: Brandy injures her hands and is unable to cook, so Branch offers to help Bruce keep up with orders in his restaurant by helping out in the kitchen. Bruce is surprised by how skilled his brother has become with cooking, and the brothers get a chance to bond as Branch begins to recall fond memories of helping Bruce cook as a child.

What’s Today?: Branch wakes up after a long day of working around Trollstopia, and is surprised to find all of his brothers in the bunker for breakfast. Afterwards, he quickly darts out once he realizes he never finished his checklist from yesterday. He becomes deeply confused, however, when most of them seem to have been taken care of already and his brothers keep popping up to do other activities with him. Branch wonders if he forgot about a holiday occurring that day, and eventually learns that he passed out from over-exhaustion the previous night and his brothers have just been trying to help him relax and remind him that he’s not alone anymore.

“Clay?” Clay’s heart turned to ice. He turned sharply at the voice. There, among the roots, tripping, staggering. His legs were wobbly - hurt, he was hurt - his eyes were wide and full of a hysterical fear and his paws reached forward. He was grey, his pelt tarnished like a burnt candle wick. His hair was darker and his secondhand vest was too big, but Clay knew him in a second. “Branch!”

During the Great Bergen Escape, Clay is cut off from the rest of the tribe, along with Viva and a handful of others. And his grey baby brother. Looks like he's finally got that responsibility he wanted.

Hiii, so uhm i have no idea if this is a headcanon ask but uhh, i guess this is an angsty ask. Do Trollex and Clay have fights? Like small or big ones? Like what was their first fight about??

Ohhhh this is a fun and interesting one.

Because technically, yes and no.

It’s uncommon, because Trollex purposely tries to do everything he can to avoid any sort of fights. Not to say he wont argue, because he definitely will for the sake of their relationship and for the sake of Clay especially. If he feels Clay is getting ahead of himself to an extent that could hurt himself mentally or get himself hurt physically, Trollex will jump to try and ease him back as softly as possible. He’ll become more stern if he feels its necessary. Other than that though, he avoids it and remains to seek out and fill Clay’s absolute comfort and needs. Because literally Trollex would do anything for Clay. He’d give up his own crown to always be with him if Clay would let him and if he wasnt so heavily loyal to his tribe.

Clay is a very, VERY stubborn troll who will do what he wants if he feels its necessary or the better option. He doesnt seek out arguments, especially with Trollex, but he does not shy away whatsoever when he feels upset over something. But when he does have an outburst or becomes upset, its rarely ever about Trollex himself. When it is about Trollex, it’s heavily due to Clay’s own insecurities. Clay, having grown up as a middle child of 5, was raised to basically be a perfectionist, and grew to have identity issues, has a lot of insecurities and also never even dated in his life. So he’ll easily become more defensive with Trollex if any thought crosses his mind that Trollex may not actually want to be with him or is disrespecting him. Which again, doesn’t happen too often and likely is only just a follow up of some other problem going on with Clay. And of course, those insecurities always end up not being true because of how much Trollex is deeply in love with Clay, and he’s always quick to listen and help ground him during these moments.

So yeah, their fights overall happen rarely ever. Trollex avoids them and is too chill of a guy to be easily upset, Clay’s anger rarely involves Trollex and Trollex focuses on helping him through the anger and never feels offended or hurt out from it.

When they do have fights though, its more medium to big level of fights due to how serious the topics are, but are actually relatively short. But its usually Clay doing all the yelling and saying stuff until Trollex becomes stern and grounds him by telling him a hard truth.

For instance, one of their biggest arguments would involve their kids. Mostly Klaxon who at one point runs away at the age of 15 after Trollex finally sat him down and said that Klaxon is not guaranteed to be the next heir, which is something Klaxon overly hyped himself up over all his life up to that point. When Klaxon ran away, Trollex and Clay had an argument because Clay was stressing over how it was similar to when him and his brothers separated and he was also stressing over how Klaxon was acting like John Dory. Which, Klaxon had always had some similarities to how John Dory acted when he was a kid, and that stressed Clay out at some points. Trollex though, was quick to pull him out of that thought by saying things like “Don’t compare our family to yours. We need to focus on getting Klaxon back.” And after that, they’d proceed to go off to find Klaxon.

One of their first ever arguments though would involve how they’d make their relationship work with Trollex needing to live at the reef as king and Clay needing to stay in trollstopia and help the putt putt trolls resettle(I actually have a whole thing for how the putt putt trolls resettle into trollstopia if anyones interested about that). But that argument was more of Clay yelling and having a little emotional moment, to which Trollex just held him and lovingly spoke to him and reassured him they can make it work, because he wants nothing more than to make it work.

Clay never intends to be mean to Trollex when he is, he always feels horrible about it afterwards and always makes it up to him by babying and loving on him.
