Weird meta commentary piece about Rose Quartz/Pink Diamond fan content. Because when I draw Pink, and enjoy drawing Pink, I can hear a Rose Quartz in my head feeling bad about it and I feel a little guilty, but then I tell her this.

Important part: because this is a meta piece about fan content I did homages to some of my favorite Pink Diamond fanarts that live freely in my head:

"Pink's Wish" an animated short by BlooZStella on youtube about specific events in Pink Diamond's life before her colony. (Check out BlooZStella on twitter and instagram they make a lot of SU illustrations and animations!)

The last panel in this Pink and Spinel funny by @tocontrolyou (check out their commissions sheet!) I don't know why but that panel is always stuck in my head it's so funny and cute!

The last piece in this sketch sheet by @arrozaurus (check out their art blog @nereamerayo!) I love their Pink/Rose works in general, but this cotton candy one is so funny and lives in my head rent free. (confession time that it technically inspired part the joke in this piece as well)

And the silhouette covering the whole of the bottom panels is inspired by this piece by @purpleorange which is beautiful and I love the line "I choose not to find out."

@ purpleorange shipping, i hope you know that fucking with my schedule and putting me on for over five days is going to get me put back onto part time.

i'm OCCASIONAL. please understand that. i work open/close at malwart's bulk equivalent 36 hours a week, and i'm not waking up at 2 AM on a day i have to work there and then turn around and work 10 hours running on 4 hours of sleep and have to drive a little over an hour home in the dead of night.

for context: i went on occasional 1/4. it's 1/10. it's barely been a week and they're piling shifts on, and i told them i'd be there toward the end of the month. like what the fuck.

Weird thing I noticed about the staff at my school: the Dean of Students is named Mr Taylor who has been working at various schools for 39 years. There is also a woman who works there whose name is Mrs May. My theology teacher (because I go to a religious school) is going to become a Deacon. we've run ~16k packages in about three 1/2 hours, MAYBE four. why are we starting at 1 am and getting bitched at about consistent downtime when it's literally distribution's fault, for one, and two, STOP PUTTING BRAND NEW PEOPLE ON UNLOAD SIDE IF YOU WANT TO PICK UP THE PAAAAAAAAACE.

it is PEAK. i understand people need to learn but literally stop putting every single new hire on unload side and wonder why we're so slow at getting things sorted. put them on top with me and the other guy. literally put them on a line, nobody GIVES a shit. y'all hire so many people in and then complain over the radio how we don't have anyone on the lines or up top and then we get YELLED AT up top because they tell us we should be running back and forth across the walkway if we need help??????????

????????????????? y'all, we are two package handlers. we sort the main packages up top. when we BOTH have wall to wall boxes and it's just us two, it's kind of fucking hard for us to run back and forth and it's why we keep asking you to provide two more people for us so it's less stress of of us. if you want us to run back and forth up top, fucking PAY US MORE.

im kind of glad im looking for a new job (or a second one, either/or) for after peak right now holy shit if management is going to be like this and hire too many people on top of it AND lose this many people in two weeks AND bitch about not having enough people i cannot do this anymore
