What's your new gif program, if it's not a secret? The outlined letters make me think ezgif. Which is what I use. But I would like to find some more programs, because ezgif doesn't *quite* serve my needs, so if you use something else and wouldn't mind to share the information, I'd appreciate it.

Screen to Gif! I quite like it so far, it's good for making gifs from screen recording and it has a lot of options for editing. The captions looked a little odd to me but there's a lot of options to customize the captions so I'm sure I can get it to look how I like.

But yea, Screen to Gif. I would recommend giving it a shot if you're looking for a new giffing program

An imaginary Harrisco spinoff: are they on Earth 1, Earth 2, or some other earth? Is the entirety of post-s4 Flash ignored completely, or do we get a brief/detailed explanation, so the viewers *know* it's not-a-hoax-not-a-dream etc.?

God this is so good!! 💗 I would take a spinoff post s4 that followed that narrative that s5 asserted, that Harry was getting better and getting his neurons to fire faster again.

Maybe he's not a super genius anymore but he is definitely not where we leave him at the end of s4. Write Cisco as heading to earth 2 to help Harry get himself better.

Cisco thinks he's gonna be breaching himself home at the end of their work days but he and Harry fall into their old night owl work habits and he ends up falling asleep on Harry's couch more often than he cares to admit. Harry tucks Cisco in and finds himself leaning down to kiss Cisco's forehead. Cisco asks him about it and Harry gets choked up talking about how "well you took care of me so it's the least I can do to return the favor," my heart hurts!!

I would honestly love to see Cisco work with team Quick and have a whole earth 2 spinoff. I truly think they could have leaned into that earlier on if Cisco & harry weren't so central to Barry's story . Jesse could have carried her own team of Cisco harry & wally! That's honestly the spinoff I wanna see 😭😂💗 thanks for the ask!!!!!

I promise, this *is* a Doctor Who ask... have you ever watched Wander Over Yonder? One of the villain in this cartoon was an evil sandwich (well, evil entity that got stuck in a sandwich and still managed to be a pretty competent villain afterwards). So I'm now picturing Evil Tooth as the recurring DW antagonist (complete with own theme music WOY-style - a choir going: "Eee-vil Toooooth!!!").

I haven't seen it! But that's amazing 😂 ...Now I'm imagining the Master staying in the tooth, but it switching between bodies. A whole bunch of actors play the Master, and they're only identifiable by the golden tooth.

8.) Pairing you wrote the most for this year?

After filtering my works from Jan 1st 2024 through to today and checking the remaining relationship counters...

Looks like WestAllen for the win!

Though if I narrow in on the ship for this year only, a number of those are actually Westhallen poly ships (lol) and there's a Barriscowest in there too, so only a handful are WestAllen only.

I still say it counts but... if we don't count the 'sub ships' of a poly ship then it's a tie between Barrisco, Westhallen, and ColdFlash at 5 each with WestAllen dropping to 3 from 9.

Admittedly I do tend to find the non canon ships more interesting to write than canon ones more often than not, so this tracks.

10.) What work was the quickest to write?

There were a few that were quick writes this year, so I'll just pick one for now.

Reach Out was one where I saw the gifset comparing Barry with real baby Nora in S9 with fake baby Nora in S6 during the Bloodwork Arc where Barry's all crying and wrecked and went 'ah yes he has PTSD from that' as I always do. But this time I had fic thoughts and just started writing pretty much immediately. And it flowed pretty well too; I'm pretty sure I remember that I posted this one the same day I started writing it.

I still want to write another fic that touches on Iris' trauma of being pregnant with an alternate version of a daughter who'd already died in her arms once already. And that may wind up part of my S9 rewrite series if I don't make a standalone fic for it first. (Or I could do both, more Iris focus is always a good thing...)

15.) What WIP are you taking into next year with you?

Quite a few but specifically, I've started a Jesse PoV fic for my Party to Death series that I'd like to finally finish off. I've also started a Savitar/Doomworld!Leonard Snart fic based off this fic idea post. It's pretty early days and I suspect it'll be a long one. I have a few miscellaneous Batman fics that I'd like to wrap up and post as well. And get back to my Arrow S1 rewrite series.

18.) The character that gave you the most trouble writing this year?

Caitlin. I meant to write more fics focused on her than I did this year. Though at least I started in on the two series that focus on her - the S9 rewrite and that Isekai series.

22.) Which work has the most comments?

Road Trip if you're counting any fics I touched this year - I updated a few chapters in there finally. But most of those comments are from previous years, so if I disqualify that one then the winner is...

The Pied Piper of Central City which was a blast to write and I was so excited by all the engagement it got. This one was prompted by an ask from @purplecyborgnewt so thanks so much for sending that in.

As a non-American whose schools didn't have mascots I now envision a story about the sun rattlesnake, the Troyan tiger (probably not even a wooden one - an alive tiger with some also-alive dudes inside) and the cougar mariner.

Honestly, I could totally see some kind of animated movie where this trio is on some kind of quest where they help each other with some personal tasks (like maybe the cougar is Afraid of the ocean and has to cover come that) and discover the real quest was the friends they made along the way.

Also, while rattlesnakes don't have hoods, I'm picturing a sun rattlesnake as something similar to pokemon's heliolisk, where it's frill opens up so it's head looks like a sun

Or maybe an ouroboros sort of thing

Speaking of porn logistics, another personal favourite bit of fuckery is when an artist draws a picture containing multiple dicks, then produces a separate alt for every possible ejaculatory configuration, like there are four dicks and sixteen alts such that there's a version where only dick A is jizzing, a version where only dick B is jizzing, a version where dicks A and B but not C are jizzing, and so forth. I'm imagining some high-class dick connoisseur with exquisitely rarefied tastes out there like "yes, I want to see this character getting jizzed on, but only by the dick on the far left – the other dicks can wait their turn".
