I'M PRETTY SURE ETHO EVEN SAID AS MUCH.... I'm like 99.9% sure etho had even said that he should've given bdubs the life before he went, but cleo said that he shouldn't have.

but god the guilt he must have felt. in a way, bdubs life was in his hands. and he let bdubs die. and the worst part is, he avoid bringing bdubs up as much as possible afterwards. he calls their snowfort his base. and mentions having a lot of good memories there but we as the viewers aren't privy to what memories he's talking about.

he tries to win it all for bdubs, he really, really does. but in the end he wasn't able to. and he apologizes to him, says sorry for not being able to win.

etho absolutely carries that guilt until the very end, and just for my own sake, I think he carries a piece of bdubs with him as well. whether it be part of his moss coat or maybe even a clock. obviously no one else knows about it, or even sees it. that's something that etho doesn't allow anyone else to see; a piece of bdubs meant for him and only him. no one else. this game has already seen so much of them. so etho will keep his memories and anything else of bdubs close to his chest, for himself alone.

definitely to some extent! the thing about cpurpled is that yeah, he is just a kid, but i feel like analyzing him in just that light can be a bit diminishing. other older characters had similar destructive and emotionally charged reactions, and i think purpled's story stays very much the same without bringing his age into question. while purpled's age is definitely a factor in his emotional maturity to a certain extent, his actions would've been the same no matter his age.

which isn't to say they're still not parallels! with all you mentioned above, but also how purpled's reaction is more tied to quackity's lessons. slime deconstructs and brings into questions quackity's teachings, while purpled takes them at face-value and weaponizes them against him. slime's character grows while purpled's regresses. slime clearly sees that. purpled does not.

i wouldn't say purpled isn't projecting onto slime slightly, there's definitely some of that with the themes of manipulation and autonomy, but i think the core reason he calls slime a child is because he genuinely does not and never has seen slime as his own person. from their first meeting, purpled doesn't treat slime as an equal, much less an adult. he talks to slime like how one would a pet or small child, and jumps to the conclusion that slime must be working for someone, never once considering slime could have his own agency.

purpled really exists to highlight the themes of infantilization (and dehumanization) in slime's story, i think. he's not at all subtle about it, driving the nail into the coffin by calling slime quackity's son. to him, slime has no agency. he is not a person, but a concept, be it quackity's pet or son or object. like i said, while i do think there's definitely some projecting of purpled's issues with manipulation/being used, i think the bigger factor at play is how purpled does not see slime as a person, as that's what leads to his death in the final scene. he underestimated and infantilized slime, and it killed him.

c!slime and c!purpled are actually really interesting narrative parallels when it comes to how they confront c!quackity in the finale in a way that benefits both of their characterization greatly

slime confronts him one on one, as adults, he stays calm and collected for the most part and is very transparent about the ways quackity has hurt not only slime, but himself as well

purpled lashes out in any way he possibly can, because he's a scared teenager who had his home ripped away from him and he believes hurting quackity will make his own hurt go away

slime sees right through purpled's attempt to manipulate him and sees him for what he really is, an angry and bitter child.

Silver Odyssey: The Beginning

The Silver Collective is known around the world for being a Baseball powerhouse. Number 17 Dean is both the Captain and Owner.

Also a lover of American football Dean founded a silver team.

Over time, Dean continued to expand his silver teams investing in golfers, swimmers, weight lifters and an ice hockey team.

The Silver Collective has attracted many fans among the ranks of the police and the astronaut core who wear their team color silver proudly whenever they can.

The Crew of Explorer 1 is on a deep space mission looking for life on other planets.

The ship’s sound system is playing a beamed broadcast of the final game of the World Series. The series is tied at three. This is make or break day for team Silver. The crew had arranged before the mission began that their uniforms would be silver in support of their team and they brought a picture of the team to hang on a wall.

In middle of the Series broadcast John speaks: “Captain our instruments are picking up an anomaly in sector 39A. Some kind of pulse”

“Is there a pattern to it, John?”

“There seems to be but I can’t make it out.”

“Let’s investigate. Take us to sector 39A.”

No one disconnects the broadcast of the game while doing their work. Each grabs a quick snippet of the game when they can.

Upon arrival in the sector the team finds what looks like a giant spiral among the stars. It is absorbing everything around it.

“Don’t take us in to close John.”

“Yes, Captain.”

“John, come take a look at it through the view screen. It is unlike anything I have ever seen. It is beautiful.”

Moving closer to the screen the Captain and John look in awe.

“Cap., this is so exciting. To be the first to discover whatever this is.”

The Captain does not respond. He is staring vacantly at the spiral out in space.

Without moving his eyes from the screen, John continues. “Cap. What doooooo youuuuuu cooooooommmmmaaaaaannnnnndddddddd”

The cockpit goes silent, except for the baseball broadcast, with both men staring at the spiral. In their minds they hear a repeating pulse. Slowly words are heard within the pulse. Join, submit, obey, join, submit, obey. The words become louder and clearer. JOIN, SUBMIT, OBEY, JOIN, SUBMIT, OBEY.

Meanwhile, unbeknownst to the crew, the ship is being drawn in closer and closer to the spiral heading straight to the convergence point. As the ship draws closer, the spiral seems to envelop both men going deeper and deeper into their consciousness while continuing to draw in the ship. The spiral begins to spin faintly in the men's eyes. Brighter and brighter each second.

Ship and crew go deeper and deeper and deeper. All the time the pulse continues, join, submit, obey.

As the astronauts and spiral join a loud roar comes through the speakers as Team Silver wins the series and the Commissioner’s Trophy. Subconsciously the astronauts hearts and minds jump for joy for silver at the exact moment that the spiral takes total control of them. Fusing silver and spiral together. The men become one with the spiral and accept their new purpose to submit and obey as the spiral identifies itself with the joy and love of silver.

The spiral surrounding the ship becomes silver. Both men, now with full silver spiral eyes, begin chanting: “join, submit, OBEY SILVER, join, submit, OBEY SILVER, join, submit, OBEY SILVER!”

The rest of the crew, who had also been watching the spiral from their stations, begin to stand and make their way to the bridge also chanting: “Join, submit, OBEY SILVER!”

Without warning, the ship lurches forward, pulled by an unseen force deeper into the spiral’s core. Alarms blare as the crew stand like zombies staring at the spiral in the viewfinder.

As the ship spins deeper and deeper into the spiral, the men hear the spiral’s voice growing clearer, more demanding. “You will serve the Silver Spiral. You will spread our message. You will conquer in our name. Join, Submit, OBEY SILVER!”

The men’s chests swell with pride and a newfound purpose as they repeat out loud the mantra "Join, Submit, OBEY SILVER!". The Silver Collective’s anthem is repeated over and over, a tune of victory and unity. They are no longer just explorers; they are soldiers in a cosmic crusade.

As the spiral’s light dims, the ship’s systems stabilize. The crew look around with a sense of resolve and purpose. They have crossed a threshold, and there is no turning back. The Captain turns to John, his voice firm. “Search out the nearest inhabited planet. We have a mission to fulfill.”

The ship leaps into hyperspace, leaving the spiral behind. But the light of the spiral remains within them in the backs of the eyes, a constant reminder of their new allegiance. As they streak through the stars, the men of Explorer 1 know that they are no longer just fans of Team Silver; they are the vanguard of the Silver Spiral, ready to conquer new worlds in its name.

Days turn into weeks, the hum of the engines a backdrop to their silent contemplation. Finally, the ship's computer identifies a planet that matches their search parameters: Earth-like, abundant in resources, and most importantly, inhabited only by males. They name the planet Andronia.

The scans reveal a civilization similar to 20th century earth. The perfect candidates for conversion. Cloaking their ship, Captain gives the order to land.

They descend through the clouds, the planet's gravity tugging at them like a child eager to embrace its new parents. The ship touches down gently in a lush valley, surrounded by towering trees and a babbling brook.

The ships crew gather their gear the silver spiral in their eyes gleaming.

In the cover of darkness, they set to work. The crew, now fully devoted to the silver spiral, construct a base with precision and speed. It grows beneath the foliage in a cave they construct, a silver bastion of technology, blending into the natural landscape like a chameleon. They work tirelessly, driven by the silver spiral's will.

Dating the number one pro came with a lot of responsibility. The news constantly had their eye on him on you on the relationship. They were looking for any reason to rip him to shreds but also any reason to boost him up. This was a lot to handle for one person and you tried to help him bare as much of the weight as possible, but you could only do so much. He was All Might’s successor, the new symbol of peace and justice. That was a lot to handle. This led to Deku making less and less time for you but more importantly less and less time for himself. He was pulling long hours working 12 to 14 hours a day 7 days a week. And if he wasn’t at the office, on a mission, or patrolling he was on call; ready to jump into action the second he was needed. After months of this you could see it was really taking a toll on him. His mental and emotional health were going down the drain. His physical health was starting to faulter as well. He had dark bags under his eyes and was covered in so many bruises and cuts from all the fights he had been in recently. His hair was always a mess, and he wasn’t eating nearly enough. You’d finally had enough, you were going to have a serious talk with him about all of this, tonight. You had tried to bring it up several times before, but he always assured you he was fine and brushed past it. You weren’t taking no for an answer today.

You heard the jingle of his keys as he unlocked the door to the apartment. “Hey love, I’m home.” “I’m in the kitchen.” You were waiting. It was now or never. “Hey, love how was- “Izuku stopped mid-sentence as he entered the kitchen. You sat at the table waiting for him with a very serious look in your face. “Love, what’s wrong?” concern laced Izuku’s voice. “We need to talk. Please sit down.” He sat down visibly nervous. In ways you found it funny seeing the worlds new symbol of peace so afraid of you. I mean you were MUCH smaller than him and your quirk was in no means even comparable to his. “Izu we need to have a serious discussion.” “Love I’m sorry, whatever I did to upset you please, forgive me. honestly out of all three seasons, last life is my least favorite </3 I liked the boogeyman concept but it was so chaotic and a little hard to keep track of what was going on with who. but ethubs… I think they’re my favorite pov for last life without a doubt.
