"New Hands"

Well, I got the new hands for my pureneemos. She has to share these with Meryl.

ETA: Actually, these only fit Shiho. I'll have to find some other hands for Meryl.

Custom dolls!

I start off with getting a Rainbow High doll. I’m not a big fan of the original bodies they come with at all. I don’t think they pose well and there’s not a very wide variety of clothes that can fit them well.

Ignore the fact I took the head off before taking a pic first oops-

I always go for the cheerleader ones because they are less expensive than the standard set.

I also give all my dolls their own faceup to fit my tastes exactly so I give them a quick wipe before anything else.

Then I place them on their new body! I use Azone Pureneemo Emotion M bodies primarily but I’m still waiting for another one to arrive in the mail. The neck peg is the same however and they fit these doll heads extremely well! For this post I’m going to use a Pureneemo Flection body since it’s all I have.

They have a full range of motion and aren’t wobbly or loose at all. They’re also very light and don’t cause the head to fall forward from weight.

It takes light force to get the peg through the neck hole but once it does it’s secure!

They can now wear the wide range of Azone and Blythe clothes available and have amazing poses while they’re at it. :)

My February 2022 toy haul finally arrived. It was shipped via DHL, but the store took forever to request payment, and some of the items weren't in-stock until the very last days of the month. All items were sent from Japan, except the Sega Giyu Tomioka Perching prize/crane figure. I purchased that one from a Japanese seller on Amzn, but they shipped that from one of their warehouses instead of the seller. I paid an overpriced price-tag, but oh well -- I really wanted that figure, and it was a pain in the gut finding it for less now that it is being a while since it was first released and a prize item, to top things off. I had already delayed getting it for too long (because I couldn’t justify shipping for it alone from Japan), but Demon Slayer is too popular to find prize figures at a decent price tag outside Japan. One of the joys, of loving Japanese licenses when you don’t live in there or things are too popular...>_>;;

The two Giyu Tomioka Q Poskets are seconds for me, I got to unbox. I know I'm insane. I am super happy with the Eren items, and the FFVIIR postcards, that for some odd reason I didn't see before and I'm kind of lucky that I was able to get. I wasn't able to find out when those were originally released, but there's an iconic Sephiroth in Nibelheim scene in one of those, so I had to have it (the rest are unimportant to me, so I don’t know if that’s why I didn’t see them before now). I'm kind of regretting Pre-ordering the Pureneemo body, because I feel like it is exactly like the M one, only with longer limbs, which is not my cup of tea. I prefer better proportioned bodies, than just making a body taller by adding more length to the legs. I already own the M one, but oh well. I didn’t get the other one, because again it seems like the same exact torso as this one and the M one, only with “thicker” limbs. Which I have no use for, at least this one has appealing (to me) looking legs. 

I’m also loving the Len and KAITO badges, I wish they would make figures of both based on those, although I am still a bit traumatized that my Good Smile Tony Ver. Len Kagamine 1:7 figure arrived with a broken ponytail and I was forced to unbox the figure to take photos, when the shop had no intention to do anything about it... there was absolutely no reason for any of that... I still get nightmares from the trauma. T__T;;
