I've noticed a bit of a weird trend with my shinies. In UM I've basically encountered/had gold shinies, My first shiny was Luvdisc, and the next was Torkoal. I was traded a shiny Kangaskhan. I did encounter a shiny Swellow tho. But the first shiny I caught in SV was Klawf, and the most recent shiny I have is a Dugtrio, and would you look at that, both blue. I found the Dugtrio by complete accident btw. Since the only thing that changes about shiny Dugtrio is its nose I didn't notice until I battled it.

If you were raised racist u wouldn't know that your beliefs were wrong: you can't hold a belief you think is wrong. To get to the 'right' belief you'd have to critically reflect on your opinions and research both sides of the argument with an open mind (i.e. be intellectually honest). But you'd have to do this without already being anti-racist. That applies to us as well: we have to critically evaluate all our beliefs to make sure none of them are wrong, or we risk inadvertently causing harm, or being called a hypocrite, or failing to self-actualise, whatever you believe is good.
