I made some concept designs and started to remake my original JSAB au, that I'm still figuring out the name for, but it has my first ocs as well as Cube as the main characters:D

The original story back in 2018-19 was that instead of a 'pink corruption' there was a purple one, but now in this the 'purple corruption' takes place After the main events of the game and is generally much weaker and takes more time to corrupt things unlike the og one but chaos still happpens

Training requires new weapons. And under King Red's orders, the two monkeys train together inside the daochang.

Of course, they both get very different weapons from their usual skillsets as mandated, and with power restrictions as is they gotta work with what they got.

Wukong was granted a Máo, since it's close enough to the staff however is still different enough to be it's own thing. It's also what the former Monkey King is more comfortable with.

Macaque however, despite having access to some of his shadow powers, opted for some Shuāng Jiàn, which are dual blades for efficiency and fast movements.

Of course, King Red monitors their usage of these weapons to make sure they can't use them against him. As such he keeps a close eye on where the weapons are at all times and only allows them out of the Daochang during missions to recapture MK.

With Yuma’s birthday upon us (as I’m sending this ask it is his birthday) I gotta ask for Silent Ward, does this mean Yuma actually end up being born and appearing into the Furios’ lives literally a day after Yakou’s birthday? And just decided to make that Yuma’s birthday? Because the context makes it sounds so adorable, but also so sad because imagine Yakou excited to celebrate his newly adopted son’s birthday with him next year but then the Peacekeepers ruin that.

I usually don't take birthdays into much consideration for any of my AUs, but I can't deny it's a fun coincidence in this AU in particular. Makoto's soul split in half to create Yuma a day after Yakou's birthday, which certainly wasn't planned. But, who knows, maybe it was fate. Since Yuma has no recollection of ever being connected to Makoto when he first lived with the Furios, they decided to make the day they met him his birthday.

Unfortunately, there wouldn't be a 'next year' to celebrate the occasion together, as they could only keep Yuma in their house for a little over a week before the Peacekeepers, on a desperate hunt for Yuma, were close to breaching the Furio home. However, Yakou never forgets to send a letter every year to the WDO on Yuma's birthday. It's the only time he sends letters of any kind.

UHH i mean... i guess it's always had a bit of darkness at the corners? pom is a monster in this au. she's a wraith. she was not born with empathy or kindness.

also, if you've been following this blog for a while, you'd know that i'm not one to shy away from topics like death or trauma or whatever. i'm not constantly shoving angsty things in the narratives i make but i'll sprinkle a little in there for fun teehee

i use "human" as a generic catch-all term for all of the alien species, like hocotatians, koppaites, giyans, whatever. mostly because i'm lazy 😭 and because actual humans or humanity will almost guaranteed never be relevant in any of the art or stories i make

UHH i hadn't really thought about it. i'm often in that PIMIN discord server, and i got a little pom wraith section in there so i guess that'd count

if a wraith wants to eat you, it'd be a mercy for it to kill you first. being alive and having your flesh, tissue, muscles and bones fizzled away into biomass is an agonizing process. you are being eaten alive after all. hopefully the pain knocks you unconscious quickly...

corbin didn't have to eat anyone! he's half human, so he naturally develops a human "disguise". he visually takes after dingo quite a lot lol
