Yes, that's what happens when you feel so much, and you can't do anything about it. Water collects in your throat, in your eyes, and on your lips. There is so much to feel… so much… that "I love you" is not enough for what is happening inside of you. You become water, pure water… gentle water… crystalline and warm water, pouring out of your tears like a spring, cleansing what it bathes as it rises and falls. You feel so much that you cannot understand this dual manifestation between pain and joy.

All I See Is Fire Reflected In Your Eyes - Chapter 4
Fandom: Baldur’s Gate 3
Characters: Karlach/fem!Tav
Rating: E
Summary: She skims along Karlach’s skin until her lips meet the scar tissue spreading out from her breastbone. One of countless hurts, immortalised on her body. Not a part of her has been left untouched by Avernus.
By the time Rhodeia is finished, there won’t be a part of Karlach left untouched by her.
Navigating the complexities of physical intimacy between two people who haven't been touched in a long time.
Tumblr media
Rhodeia doesn’t let go of Karlach’s hand as a Harper leads them to a room in Moonlight Towers cleared for use. Between the sweat and gore between their fingers, their hand-holding is neither comfortable or sweet, but it’s the only thing keeping her upright and moving after the battle with Ketheric Thorm. Without the lure of a hot bath and Karlach’s company, she would have sat down and congealed on the ground floor.
The quarters on this floor are basic enough, with a half-scrubbed stain on the floor that’s easy enough to ignore. But as much as Rhodeia wants to sit down and never stand back up, she and Karlach search the room for any hidden cultists, then drag a dresser in front of the door.
At last, they stand together in silence. A miserable pall of rot and blood and unholy fervour drapes over the chamber, entombed in the tower’s cold stone, soaked with a malice that cannot be scrubbed out. A small window allows a thin blade of shadow-dark sky to be visible, and for the first time since they emerged in this cursed land, the horizon is growing lighter.
Karlach squeezes her hand. This close, the temperature between them begins to rise. “Hope you’re ready for the hottest bath of your life, soldier.”
Rhodeia’s legs ache as she takes a step towards the tub half-hidden behind a privacy screen. Not just her legs—her shoulders, her spine, her eyes. Her mind. She all but drops to her knees beside the bathtub, pain shooting through her as they connect with the stone floor. With one hand curled around the rim of the tub, Rhodeia calls the last shreds of her magic.
“Aqua pura.”
A grey-bellied cloud swirls into being, dumping enough water to fill the tub, and then a quick fire bolt has steam curling off the surface.
Behind her, Karlach says, “You’re putting me out of a job, you know.”
“Not at all. I can’t stand up without help.”

Diffondi l'amore... La pace seguirà... ~Sognatore cosmico ***************** "Imagine if you will a moment in time, Where euphoria seeps into every corner of your being, A time devoid of doubt and fear where hope lives eternal, A time where all the possibilities of life are not tethered by fear, An absolutely flawless landscape of unlimited potential, Like you had stumbled into a world of pure and utter perfection, Where judgement is an alien concept, a world without time it's self, Now imagine that you could hold that moment for all infinity, Where the dreams of past, present and future exist as one, Bathed forever in the soft and pure light of infinate love, That my friends, is heaven and it does not live in a book, For the building blocks of heaven can only be found deep within a heart, When we let go of what we are... We become what we might be..." Spread the love... The peace will follow... ~Cosmic Dreamer

[It's Okay to Not Be Okay]
Kalau dah mulai membaik, beberapa bentuk Self Compassion tuh kayak gini :
Akui dan terima kalau kita sedang lemah, sedih, kecewa, benci, dll
Jangan terus-terusan nyalahin diri maupun orang lain
Puji diri sendiri & terima pujian dari orang lain
Hargai semua perasaan kita, nggak perlu memaksa pura-pura bahagia
Menyadari kalau pengalaman pahit itu part of life

My Notes on Lunar Medicinal Rotations
In my practice of andean herbal medicine I rotate the use of herbal allies in cycles of 21 to 31 days, which align with our andean lunar months. One medicinal ally may be consumed during, for example, 21 days of a specific lunar month and accompanied by varying supporting allies, then rotated for a different herbal ally that corresponds with that next lunar month (for example, in cases of preventive medicine for both body and spirit) or we may do different allies throughout the month corresponding both with that particular lunar month and with each lunar phase within (for more spiritual medicine, for example, in preparation for a ceremony). The qualities of the supporting allies that may vary depending on what lunar phase the medicine is prepared on are described below:
Mosoq Killa, New Moon: we take root and bark medicines in the form of strong decoctions, aswell as preparations of stems and leaves that are deeply nourishing. Also allies that aid in revealing hidden truths and bring messages in dreams. Allies heavy in alkaloids, tannins, bitters, flavonoids, vitamins and minerals.
Wiñaq Killa, Waxing Moon: we take medicines prepared mostly with stems and leaves, some flowers. Focusing in allies with nourishing, invigorating, energizing properties. Allies with chemical contents that are somewhere in between the bitter medicine of the new moon and the sugary sweetness of the full moon, but more towards the sweet side of things. A balance tilting towards sweetness. Allies rich in vitamins, minerals, sugars, alkaloids, tannins and fragrant volatile oils.
Pura Killa, Full Moon: medicine prepared with flowers and fruits, and with the softest and sweetest leaves of the plant. This may be paired with floral baths. Allies rich in tannins, flavonoids, fragrant volatile oils and sugars.
Huch'uyaq Killa, Waning Moon: medicine prepared with stems and leaves again, sometimes including some roots. This time around centering allies that help in soothing and calming the body. Depurative properties. Allies that clear the mind and the spiritual body. Allies mostly rich in mucilage, but also tannins, bitters and glycosides.
Of course none of this is set in stone. This is just my personal take based on my personal and cultural beliefs, what I was taught growing up about lunar phases, lunar cycles, and herbal medicine, and what I've learnt later on from other medicine women... from my own indigenous nation aswell as from other andean nations. I've also added some general considerations of what kind of medicinal compounds to look for in herbal allies, which is obviously a more modern addition. Yet you'd be surprised how much of our ancestral knowledge regarding which specific allies aid us best during each of these processes has been confirmed thanks to science giving a name to the specific compounds that give them those already well-known medicinal properties.
The length of each rotation may vary. Initially, it is recommended that each medicinal herb is taken for at least 21 days to see the best results. Some lunar months may be as short as 28 days and some may be longer than that. As always, each person's needs will define if the rotations should be shorter or longer.
There's many different reasons why one could choose to do rotations (like preventive medicine vs acute treatment vs chronic treatment, or avoiding possible interactions with medication or other herbs, or avoiding negative effects of the long-term use that some allies can have, or simple personal preference) and none of this is universal nor mandatory. It's just a generally recommended approach as it is traditionally understood that respecting the yearly and monthly lunar cycles, and making an effort to align ourselves with the changes in nature around us, both heavenly and earthly, makes our bodies healthier and also makes the medicine being prepared stronger. The preparations for specific cases involving specific people will stray from these general recommendations as significantly as the details of the situation of that patient require it.
One particular way that I've seen things can be changed is: for those of us with menstrual cycles to switch the herbal medicines associated with the waning and waxing moons. For example, some people may be more prone to anxiety in their follicular phase, and need soothing allies during their winaq killa instead, or be more prone to depression in the later phases of their cycle and need energizing, lifting spirits in their huch'uyaq killa. The cycles described above can be moved around to best support the unique needs of each person. This responds to the andean concept of yanantin, opposite and complementary pairs. We must seek the medicine that is opposite and complementary to our nature. Interestingly enough, it echoes the latin "contraria contrariis curantur".
You may also realize that the parts of the plant used in each phase of the lunar cycle are also the parts of the plant that are traditionally recommended to be harvested at that particular lunar phase, and that is firstly because freshly harvested material, collected in correct timing is considered the most desirable to use for medicine, but also because of the belief that the Spirit held in that plant material is stronger in their corresponding lunar phase, even if not fresh.

Uluwatu Temple Bali Indonesia: Where the Past, Present, and Scenic Beauty Meet
Bali, often referred to as the "Island of the Gods," boasts an array of cultural treasures and natural wonders that have captivated travelers for centuries. One such jewel in Bali's crown is the iconic Uluwatu Temple, known locally as "Pura Luhur Uluwatu." Perched dramatically on the southwestern cliffs of the Bukit Peninsula, Uluwatu Temple is not merely a historical site but a living testament to the rich tapestry of Bali's past, present, and the breathtaking beauty that surrounds it.
Tumblr media
In this comprehensive guide, we will embark on a journey through time and tradition as we explore the historical significance, cultural importance, and the awe-inspiring vistas that make Uluwatu Temple Bali Indonesia a must-visit destination for those seeking a profound connection with Bali's essence.
A Glimpse into the Past
Origins and Founding: Uluwatu Temple traces its roots back to the 11th century when the Javanese sage Empu Kuturan established this sacred site. Its historical importance lies not only in its age but also in its role as one of the nine key directional temples on the island of Bali.
Spiritual Significance: Uluwatu Temple is dedicated to the spirits of the sea, guarding the island against malevolent forces. Its strategic clifftop location, overlooking the vast Indian Ocean, is believed to amplify its spiritual power.
Present-Day Devotion
Active Place of Worship: Uluwatu Temple remains a vibrant place of worship for Balinese Hindus. Devotees visit daily to make offerings, light incense, and engage in prayer and meditation. As a visitor, you'll have the opportunity to witness these spiritual practices, gaining a deeper understanding of Bali's religious traditions.
Connection to the Divine: For the Balinese, Uluwatu Temple serves as a bridge between the earthly realm and the divine. The temple's serene ambiance and spiritual rituals create an atmosphere of reverence, allowing visitors to experience a profound sense of spirituality.
Architectural Grandeur
Clifftop Marvel: One cannot help but marvel at the clifftop location of Uluwatu Temple. The towering limestone cliffs serve as a natural backdrop, enhancing the temple's magnificence. As you approach the temple gates, you'll be greeted by traditional Balinese architectural elements that include intricate stone carvings and tiered meru towers.
The Kecak Dance: A Cultural Spectacle
Balinese Artistry: Adjacent to Uluwatu Temple is an open-air amphitheater where the world-renowned Kecak dance performances take place. This captivating dance form tells tales from the Ramayana epic entirely through vocal chants and coordinated movements of a large group of male dancers.
Spectacular Setting: What makes the Kecak dance at Uluwatu Temple truly extraordinary is its setting against the backdrop of the clifftop temple and the setting sun. As the sky transforms into shades of orange and pink, the performance becomes a symphony of culture and nature.
Sunset Views: Nature's Grand Finale
Golden Hours: Uluwatu Temple is renowned for its mesmerizing sunset views. As the sun descends into the Indian Ocean, it bathes the temple and its surroundings in a warm, golden glow. It's no wonder that photographers and travelers flock to this spot during the late afternoon hours to capture the breathtaking vistas.
Preservation Efforts: Safeguarding Tradition
Cultural Heritage: Recognizing the cultural significance of Uluwatu Temple, local communities and organizations have taken proactive measures to preserve and protect this ancient site. These efforts include ongoing maintenance, restoration, and educational programs.
Ensuring Continuity: The conservation initiatives aim not only to safeguard the physical structure of the temple but also to ensure that the spiritual and cultural traditions associated with it continue to flourish for generations to come.
Essential Visitor Tips
Dress Code: When visiting Uluwatu Temple, it's important to adhere to the temple's dress code. Both men and women are required to wear sarongs and sashes, which can be rented at the entrance.
Respectful Conduct: Within the temple grounds, visitors are expected to maintain a respectful demeanor, especially during ongoing rituals. Silence and courtesy are appreciated.
Beware of Monkey Guardians: Uluwatu Temple is home to a population of macaque monkeys. While they are considered guardians of the temple, they can be mischievous. Visitors should remain cautious and ensure the security of their belongings.
Sunset Visits: If you plan to witness the sunset at Uluwatu Temple, it's advisable to arrive well in advance to secure a good viewing spot, as this is a popular time for visitors.
Conclusion: An Encounter with Bali's Soul
Uluwatu Temple Bali Indonesia is more than just a historical site or a picturesque clifftop landmark; it is an encounter with Bali's soul. It is a place where the past, present, and the sheer beauty of nature converge to create an experience that is both spiritually enriching and visually captivating.
As you stand on the hallowed grounds of Uluwatu Temple, gazing at the expanse of the Indian Ocean, you can feel the weight of centuries of tradition and devotion. It is an invitation to embrace the essence of Bali, to connect with its spiritual heart, and to witness the harmonious coexistence of history, culture, and natural splendor. Uluwatu Temple is a testament to Bali's enduring charm, and a visit here promises an unforgettable journey through time and tradition.

March 26, 2023 Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica
Part Two begins. Much as the beds on the Passion were quite comfortable, each having a comfy queen bed overstocked with pillows for our abbreviated night at the Doubletree sure felt luxurious! The night was indeed short, but still refreshing. The hotel had a breakfast buffet which was not as good as the Passion’s food, but filled our bellies. After shuffling belongings between duffels, carry-ons and “personal items” to meet the weight limits of the little 12-seater we were about to board, our driver met us and dropped us at the little domestic terminal of the airport. So easy! The flight gave us great view of the sea and coast to the right and mountains and towns to the left. Ahhh, the excitement builds…
On approach to the Osa Peninsula and after landing, it was abundantly clear that we’ve traded scruffy shrubs and lava for lush foliage and bright colored flowers. It’s considerably cooler here, and wonderfully comfortable. A young driver was at the airport to meet us (low key here, no need for a sign with our names), and took us the 20-minute drive to Drake Bay. Marginal dirt roads still got us safely to the beach where we had a wet boarding on the boat to Copa de Arbol. We passed beautiful beaches, a few people snorkeling or wandering on the shore, but the coast is very natural without a hint of over-building! Pura Vida! A greeter, Jerson, met us at the beach when we disembarked (another wet one), walked us up to the resort (stopping to see our first sloth in the trees) and showed us around. Ten cottages are each tucked away in the trees for privacy; there’s a gorgeous, tiered infinity pool; all connected with natural paths. Some of the “resorts” along the the road to Drake Bay were a little sketchy. We are very pleased that the Copa, and our private thatched roof (which later proved to be faux thatch), two-level air-conditioned cottage is well and far above those places. ‘Gotta love decadence!
While we waited a short 45ish minutes or so for the staff to finish prepping our cottage, we explored a bit. A public trail passes between the resort and the beach, and is our access point to various beaches or to head to town. When we got access, our room was set up with fresh blossoms all over: on the tables, beds, toilet, sink and bath mat – even on the garbage can. It was lovely to relax, get settled, pull out some laundry to have done (rather than more self cleaning, rinsing and wringing!). We each have space to spread out and can each see the water through the trees from our beds. It feels like being in an exotic tree house. The nice bed from the Doubletree hotel: left in the dust!!!
Lunch was delightful with a stunning view of the sea. We had our next wildlife experience with real life toucans. Amazingly beautiful birds! We got our first taste of the routine here: at lunch they take dinner orders, and at breakfast, lunch orders. Assuredly, given the Copa is quite remote with supplies brought in by boat, this allows them to preserve resources and not over-prepare one thing over the other, as well as make sure every guest gets their preference. We considered an activity this afternoon, but decided an afternoon of relaxation sounded nice. Off to the pool we went. We claimed two lounge chairs on the shady side, and went in. Wonderfully relaxing. Seb got out, hopped onto one of the chairs and proceeded to take a good long nap; Jill stayed in a while and did a bit of uploading from the lounge chair. We’re happy to have internet here, but it can be a little flakey, so photo uploading that might be simple at home might take 3 or 4 tries here. But we persist; can’t disappoint our “fans.”
4:00-5:00PM is hora feliz. How can a person turn that down when on offer are frozen strawberry daiquiris? We sat at the bar and were totally entertained by Mario, the bartender, who told us about “his” Sarah, showed us photos and even brought her up on video chat. What a hoot!
We had an early dinner so as to be on time for our night walk. Antony was our guide. Of Costa Rican/Belgian descent, he was born in Costa Rica , raised in Belgium, and returned here first as a snorkeling guide, then he branched out. Despite no formal conservation or biology schooling, he has studied up and is amazingly knowledgeable to augment his keen skills of observation, spotting the various creatures in the jungle and navigating the terrain. Each with flashlights (two other guests accompanied us), we set off in blue rubber boots so heat-seeking venomous snakes wouldn’t detect us! We saw snakes, frogs/toads, tadpoles, bugs, bats, ants (fascinating ones marching in a long row carrying pieces of leaf), crabs (yes, crabs in the jungle), spiders (including a golden orb spider with a magnificent web), a couple of sloths and lizards. At one point, Antony had us turn off all of the flashlights. It was total darkness. If one looked up, there were tiny pieces of moonlit sky visible, but none (and we mean NONE) of that tiny bit of light made it down to the path we were walking. A fascinating walk. On return, the gate to the Copa was closed. Not a problem… it was just two bamboo poles across the entrance. Antony moved the with ease. We went to our lovely cottage (room) and crashed.

Shri Shrivasa Pandita appearance day “Shri Gadadhara is expansion Radharani and Srinivasa is the expansion of Narada Muni, or in other words they are the internal and the devotional energy respectively.” (A.C. Letter to Tamal Krishna.) srivas-pandito dhimaan yah pura narado munih purvataakhyo muni-varo ya aasin narada-priyah sa raama-panditah srimams tat-kanistha-sahaodarah “Intelligent Srivaasa Pandita had previously been Narada Muni, the best of the sages. Srivaasa’s younger brother, Sriman Rama Pandita, had previously been Narada’s close friend Parvata Muni” (Gaura Ganodesh Dipika 90.) Shrila Vrindavana dasa Thakura, the Vyasadeva of Shri Gaurasundara’s pastimes, has sung the praises of Srivasa Pandita in this way: “It was in Srivasa Pandita’s house that Shri Chaitanya enacted His pastimes of sankirtana. Those four brothers (Srivasa, Shri Rama, Sripati and Srinidhi) were continuously engaged in singing the names of Shri Krishna. They worshipped Shri Krishna and bathed in the Ganges thrice daily.” These four brothers previously lived in the district of Shri Hatta. Later on they came to reside on the banks of the Ganges. There they regularly used to attend the assembly of devotees who gathered at Shri Advaita Acharya’s house to hear the Shrimad Bhagavatam and engage in congregational chanting of the Holy Names. Gradually the brothers became very close friends of Shri Jagannatha Misra, with whom they would chant and listen to the Bhagavatam. In all matters Srivasa was the leader of the four brothers. By the strength of his devotion, he could understand that Shri Krishna was going to appear in the house of Jagannatha Misra. Srivasa Pandits’s wife’s name was Shri Malinidevi. She was a very close friend of Shri Sacidevi and was always very helpful to her. https://www.instagram.com/p/CpzVnASIhqa/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Toasted bread with fresh sausage, a bite of life—intense, shameless—that grabs you without mercy. Stefano’s lasagna? Pure indulgence, layers of pleasure where meat and béchamel come together in an indecent embrace. And then the pici with truffle, a dirty poem that takes you deep into the earth, with aromatic shavings bathed in buttery cream. The salt cod with chickpeas? Meaty, honest, a mouthful of the sea that knows no compromise, genuine to the core. But this is not just about eating. Beyond the dishes, there’s a soul that embraces you: warm, real, full of voices and colors, with that true Tuscan and Lucchese spirit that makes you feel at home.
Tumblr media
You came alone like the sea and wet my attire, filling my body with moisture; that's how you kissed my humanity… And I could not resist the calm of your charm nor the sweet demure that, through the soaking touch of your presence, I could experience. You had me bathed in your waters, enraptured in the perfume of your sacred existence, while the feverish elixir of your watery being dripped on my soles. You were pure, gentle, sweet, ethereal and blessed water… so sacred that I could drink you with my mouth intoxicated with your salt; a sea of enchanting traces that, in its waves, undresses the one who throws himself to die. But you neither kill nor drown… You baptise and, in the depths of your waters, you resurrect the one who thought himself a sinner by loving what he should not.
