anyway,

1. My first theory is that (maybe kind of obviously?) the hexcore won't be destroyed. But that's not my specific theory. As of the last big scene we see Jayce and Viktor in in s1, Viktor seems pretty done with the hexcore. Obviously he's just killed Sky, so he wants it gone strongly enough that even if he can't do it he asks Jayce to do it. Now, as for my specific theory, I think the REASON why it won't be destroyed might be because if/when Jayce tries to do it, destroying the hexcore would also kill Viktor. As we know, Jayce values Viktor's life above many things, so I think he would become unwilling to destroy it if doing so would kill Viktor. So that's theory #1.

2. My second theory is much simpler in terms of how many words I'm going to say about it. Now, I'm not a HUGE fan of league lore (in that I don't care to think about it very much, my mind lives in act 1 jayvik) BUT obviously we know that's where things are headed. So, my theory is this: when the blast hits the council, we know at least Jayce and Viktor most likely survive. The question I'm asking is, what if the explosion effects Viktor severely enough that, even though he lives, a limb or two needs to be replaced with a mechanical prosthetic in order for him to survive? And as he notices the difference between these new limbs and the rest of his body, that's what starts his fascination with replacing parts of himself with machinery?

Anyway, those are my thoughts. I'm not a super reputable source but I feel like these aren't that outlandish! And as I said in the tags of the original post, DO NOT SHARE LEAKS ON THIS POST. I'LL GET YOU IF YOU DO.

It's getting to the point before the release of s2 that I'm starting to have actual theories. Like I have 2 theories rn that I'm like "wow that actually might happen"
