During mile’s and hobie’s first kiss miles got so excited that he accidentally shocked hobie. “Aye! lovey I know I said I felt a spark between us but I didn’t mean literally”

when miles is embarrassed or feeling shy he turns invisible normally around other spider people but maybe he’s done it once or twice with his parents (rio was very unhappy about it) but mostly around hobie “miles sunflower I can’t see you..did the kiss make you that shy?”

Miles is super clumsy constantly crashing into things or tripping but luckily hobie is always around to catch him “luv i know im irresistible but you really ought to stop falling for me yeah?” (Queue miles turning invisible

When Miles gets mad, he speaks Spanish. And I'm talking bout that, "Rio is mad about to beat somebody ass" type of Spanish. That's how any spider-person knows they've pissed him off.

And it scares a good amount of them too because he's acting like somebody Mama snapping his fingers when they aren't paying attention to what he is saying, pacing back and fourth, shaking his head, mumbling stuff ect.

But you know Miles, he is switching back and forth from Spanish and English. Which makes them like 10times more scary. Because to them it's like "I understand you man and I'm sorry," then it's "I lost you- what did you say!? What am I supposed to do!? Oh my gosh!!" And he ends ever angry rant with either, "Don't do that shit again" or "do you understand me" (like I said - like somebody's mama)

And Hobie? Hobie is the biggest instigator, so if he so happens to hear, walk by, be in the room whatever- he will back up Miles all the way. Because he thinks Miles looks cute when he gets mad. Yea, he's scarying the crap out of whoever he's screaming at, but to Hobie, it's cute. The way his face is scrunched up and the way he's probably cussing the person out. Hobie doesn't understand him but he backs him up all the way even if Miles is wrong.

Bonus:

Miguel agrees with everything Miles is saying when he's mad because he found out that Miles got a B in Spanish, so he is shocked when Miles comes into his office one day going on a full rant (in Spanish) about some of the spider-people who where being openingly racist. Miguel is so shocked that he doesn't say anything, making Miles walk out of the room to sit them straight himself.

And ever since then, Miguel just agrees every time he hears Miles say, "Right, Tio!?" And he records and sends it to Rio.(I believe that Miguel, MJ and Rio have become Mom Friends you can't change my mind-)

Arachkids headcanons because I'm bored (ft. Spiderdads)

Miles-42 is the shortest in the group, and he HATES it. This leads to relentless teasing, especially from Hobie (who is the only one not at least a little scared of Miles-42)

Hobie takes stairs 2 at a time. Always.

Miles cried when he heard that Miguel and Peter B were together

Pavitr will tell Miles and Gwen to "get a room" at the smallest things. They're holding hands? Get a room. They're sitting next to each other? Get a room. They looked at each other for more then 2 seconds? Get a room.

Hobie likes to joke that his type is Miles Morales, since he's dating both Miles and Miles-42.

Pavitr will paint Hobie's nails at every chance he gets.

Gayatri was Gwen's bi awakening.

When Gwen told Hobie she was trans, the first thing he said was, "So, you CHOSE to be named Gwendolyn?"

Miguel is genuinely terrified of Hobie and Miles-42.

Hobie and Miles-42 will hop over to Noir's dimension to punch Nazis with him a lot.

Pavitr and Miles are both autistic, and Pavitr started using headphones to help with sensory issues after meeting Miles and learning that from him

Everyone expects Pavitr to be the mom friend of the group, but it's actually Hobie.

Miles worrying because Hobie sometimes disappears with no contact from time to time so Miles gets in contact with Karl to see if Hobie is alright and that he's not in immediate danger but Karl's just like

"Nah, he's just sleeping"

And Miles is just like "Well how long has he been sleeping"

And Karl just says "Since two days ago" like that shit is just normal

And that's when Miles finds out that Hobie doesn't have a sleep schedule, he just has a "big sleep" where he forces his body to stay up for as long as it can, sometimes for weeks occasionally, before it simply just collapses from exhaustion, occasionally only waking up for a few minutes to eat, use the bathroom and drink something before passing back out for sometimes three days straight.

Miles is mortified because its definitely not healthy and if it wasn't for his spider powers, it would have probably killed him long ago.

So Miles takes things into his own hands. Sometimes, he'll bribe Ganke to go stay with some other friends for the night or on weekends when Ganke goes home for the weekend Miles stays and makes up an excuse to his parents and let's Hobie stay over in his dorm, or, when both of his parents are working late shifts, he'll sneak Hobie into his room to make sure he gets at least 8 hours of sleep

It doesn't even have to be from night till morning, he doesn't care if Hobie's even sleeping from 7am to 2pm in his dimension, he just wants Hobie to get decent amounts of sleep and not fall into three day comas.

They hold hands all the time. Hobie says that it's because Miles is small and he doesn't want him to get lost, but he is just extremely touch straved

The first time he gave him a kiss on the cheek hobies legs nearly gave out.

A punkflower headcanon I have!! <3

Hobie makes music about miles accidentally and intentionally that he hides from the rest of the band!

But one night him and miles are in his verse and cuddling up in bed when miles suddenly asked him if he’s ever been inspiration for a song and admits that most of his drawings are inspired by hobie (if not just actual drawings of hobie)

so hobie looks at miles with the most tender and warm look ever and gets up grabbing his guitar and a box from under the bed

the box is filled with piles and piles of papers filled with lyrics he tells miles to pick one so miles reaches in still confused on what this is and grabs one randomly handing it to hobie who starts to play one of many love songs he’s made for miles

I saw the post you made about punk-flower and the patch sharing jacket and I just wanted to ask if you have anything specific that you would like to expand on as I plan to write a fic for it!

I’ve been in a writing slump for months now and you’re post just inspired me again finally so I just wanted to see if there were any more headcannons you had for this idea

There's really not much for me to add other than ✨️vibes✨️and like a general direction/idea. But i do have a few so here's what i got so far:

I imagine that Miles was the first one to ask bring up the patched jackets (i don't really know what they're called) thing for like just a conversation starter at first but ended up getting geniunely interested as Hobie rants explains the whole thing. From its history where its originally a practical way of mending clothes but now means more to the punk culture, to how to stitch it in, picking the right jacket for it, etc.

He would explain each patch in his vest, what they represent, and how he got it. (Or Miles would ask abt it idk)

I like to hc hobie as decent enough at sewing to make shody patches with his own design. Its not good good but he's proud of them enough to show it off

Miles couldn't get his mind off Hobie's rant and some of the shoddy patches that looks so rough and like a snap away from leaving Hobie's vest and he can't get his mind off the fact that Hobie made some of his own patches which made him curious enough to make his own designs.

At first it was just drawings and doodles but then he got curious enough to try embriodery stuff. How hard could it be, right? He was wrong. Embroidery is very hard. (This coming from me who does embroidery for fun) But the learning process was fun enough that he continued on.

Rio absolutely caught him more than once, brings out her sewing kit, and gives him tips and advices like different kinds of stitches and how to fix holes on clothes, happy to have something they can bond over. (Would love to have more Rio content. She deserves the world.)

With his newly aqcuired sewing skills, he offers to fix Hobie's patch that was loose.

Then he showed Hobie the very first patch he made which was a very simple sunflower (or something else if you want) and

Hobie was very normal about that and trying to be casual like: "Can I keep it?" And it flusters Miles like "Uh, yeah, sure. I guess. I mean if you want it—"

Hobie then decided that Miles is his new go-to patch repair guy just so he can spend more time with him

Miles uses a really old jacket from either his dad or his uncle Aaron or heck even from his mom or maybe even from his grandparents. (your pick) Because he knows that you just dont do that on a new jacket! That goes against its whole purpose!!

When he shows Hobie the jacket he intends to patch up, Hobie got so exited that he rips off a patch from his vest and gifts it to Miles to "start him with" or something.

They gift each other patches that reminds them of the other

okay, so here is my vision:

gwen is a bisexual demiromantic trans (mtf) demigirl. hobie is bisexual trans (ftm) non-binary. miles is a bi trans man who’s also asexual. pavitr is a bisexual trans man.

gwen and miles are dating, miles and hobie are dating, hobie and pavtir are dating, pavtir is also dating his girlfriend gayatri.

they’re all also autistic and have adhd.

what about pirate!hobie and mermaid!miles

hobie is the captain of his own ship that has been skillfully avoiding navy captain!miguel o’hara and he finds a reef of mermaids

not only that he finds miles perched on a rock and he’s just gorgeous

miles would definitely be curious about all the human trinkets that hobie has and hobie is more than glad to explain them all to miles

hobie would spend hours on the sand watching miles talk about the reef he’s from and his childhood

pav and gwen would def be a part of hobie’s crew and they’re immediately shipping the two

hobie has to leave to routinely to make sure that miguel doesn’t catch up to him and miles is always so sad when he leaves

but hobie always promises to return and to come back with more trinkets for miles

miles keeps everything that hobie brings to him

The only reason people wanna know hobies age or even brought it up was because they wanted to sexualize him my friend brought up a good point that the marvel fan/marvel adults have an obsession with sexualizing charaxhters as soon as there 18 and she said that “I haven’t even seen the movie and I can tell he’s 17-18”

Anyways I’m gonna drop my punkflower headcannons

Hobie and miles have a little garden where they grow flowers for eachother maybe it’s like on top of a building that miles lives at and he just gives it to miles and miles does the same

Hobie ABSOLUTELY gets really excited when he sees miles and runs towards him nocking him to the ground and hugging him and miles does the same but he can’t make hobie Fall into the floor

Miles definitely listens to hobie rant all the time and he absolutely adores it because he loves hobies voice

Miles giggles like all the time and it makes hobie blush so hard because “omg my boyfriend is so cute”

I bet when miles and hobie see each other from a far distance they point and say “you!” And run at each other

Hobie definitely cares to much about miles that he’s super protective over him especially how miles overworks himself he’s like a rabid dog when Miguel Trys to hurt miles, miles finds this funny

There so cute this might turn into a account just for them

Why? Why do you think he wouldn't date someone who's parent is a cop?

I'm not a major Punkflower shipper, but I respect it. I find it very cute, and I think Hobie and Miles would make a great duo, even though I'm an avid lover of Ghostflower.

But, I see a lot of people trashing on Punkflower because "Miles' dad is a cop!" and "Hobie doesn't like cops!"

My guy. Jefferson's career choice and values are NOT the same as Miles' views and values!!

Hobie wouldn't discriminate on someone or judge someone based specifically on their family, because family is NOT something someone can control. Hobie and Gwen are best friends even though Gwen's dad is a cop! Hobie knows Gwen's dad is a cop, and he still chooses to let her stay with him and he chooses to be her friend and go on missions with her. Pavitr's girlfriend's dad is a cop as well, but they're still super close and the best of buddies. We don't see Hobie discriminating against Pav for loving the daughter of a cop!

So why would Hobie discriminate against Miles' solely because of his dad being a cop?

Miles himself is NOT a rule-follower. We see him doing graffiti in the subway with his uncle, sticking name-tags everywhere and directly defying his dad's orders to stop. Just because his dad is a cop, doesn't mean that he would share the same values as a cop.

PUNKFLOWER STILL STANDS! <3

Honestly if you're still hating on the ship just say that you don't like seeing black romance, cuz its giving casual racism. Y'all don't mind when people ship the most OOC ships between white characters like Draco Malfoy x Hermione Granger or Percy Jackson x Artemis but you get mad when its two attractive black guys, come on 💀.
