The time has come to show the last of my tops - a denim sherpa jacket bought for the sole reason of filling in for my coat when I lack clean clothes that go well with it, or when I just want more freedom of movement generally in the winter. It's warm, it's comfy like a big sweater, just a bit stiffer, and the stiffener sewn into the collar keeps the neck warm perfectly. Even if it doesn't exactly cover the throat.

Long before making it, I'd already had a vision of a Grabaż tribute jacket/vest, and when the opportunity presented itself, I took it eagerly. His two most well-known bands' names on both the back and the front, symbols closely related to them on their respective sides, and each group's year of forming on the appropriate shoulder. And, of course, the man's almost legendary nickname on the shoulder blades.

Started a spider punk jacket! I’m going to comic con in November with a friend so I thought I’d take the opportunity to do so! The jacket was long so I ended up folding up the ends and it makes for some cool pockets, so I might sew everything up at some point. (Read: safety pin it instead of actually sewing anything-

I plan to use as much around my house as possible. I may go to a small record store for badges and maybe (MAYBE) get some spikes for the head but that will be it. I already used old fabric and a paint pen to make the F/N/S/M patch. I just hot glued the thing on because I am lazy. I have studs that I’m using, I’ve already studded one half. Im doing in a kind of manner like below:

Mainly because I’m too lazy to do the entire thing and can’t afford to buy more studs (I love my job - shocker - but they haven’t paid me yet)

So yeah that’s what I got so far. Any badge ideas? The pictures of Hobie’s badges on his jacket aren’t clear so I’m taking creative liberty on them but can’t think of what to use.

Yay I'm at the point where I decided the locations and pinned down every patch on my jacket and then put down pins and literally super glued them down because a lost pin is so sad lol

Next up is sewing down the patches and adding the studs around the big MCR patch 😍

I'm throwing in pics of my vest for the hell of it even tho it hasn't changed much recently, but I put a few more pins on it today too
