While I preffer more moraly gray villans, Punchline is great and exactally what DC needed.

I cannot express how happy I am with a female Batman villan who is just super evil and loving it. They just need to nerf her a little and she will be perfect.

I made a post about Punchilne once and I got someone doing a reblog with a bunch of corrections on the tags and I actually got really upset over it and the whole people trying to control how I enjoy things. But now that I'm reading the Punchline series I do agree with almost everything that was said on that tags except for the Bao and Khoa hate.

well there is the Valentines short as far as comics go? it's silly that a short where he only directly appears for two or three pages would be a better characterisation than most recent comics that he appears in and yet it is the only one I can think of where he isn't written as either a violent edgelord, an example for successful rehab meaning conformity or as a joke that is only there to get bullied and laughed at

Tbh I'm not completly following recent events in comics because of college. I'm trying to read Killing Time, get on track with the Punchiline comic andd re-read Secret Wars and having my dose of funky old comics (it's a russian roulette sometimes you find absurdist fun and others you find period typical racism an misoginy).

And Lonely City is one of the few recent series I completly enjoyed without buts (I mean now I'm thinking of how it still reflects on DC mistreatment of neurodivergency and disabilities as a whole but I keep that it was a good comic and a gorgeous one). So I can't completly agree because I don't know everything DC or Batman related that's going on.

But I'll agree that Riddler is a dificult characther to balance and he is being victim of bad writting and quesitonable charactherizations for a long time and there's no sign of it stopping any time soon.
