Lola Felicing on her 93th is always mindful and caring for everyone in the family. Her unconditional love, patience, humor and her love in singing brings us together. I cannot forget those moments that I made my grandparents' house my fortress at times when my tatay is angry with me due to my naughtiness. I tend to stay the whole day to avoid the palo i will about to receive from my mother. Lola Felicing will always protect me and my cousins from harm by giving us tasty pulvorons and hot pancakes. Staying in their house was our safe haven. Lola Felicing is old, but her voice on good mood is still roaring on our house. I do miss her endless stories of the old days. Back when we were living on a not so distant houses with trees and crops in between. There she would just yell my name and i know for sure theres a hot meryenda on her table. The kalatong made by lolo Pecio was also effective in calling out hungry grandchildren playing outside. Today, its the distance that makes me miss my grandma.
