This is the Pululahua Volcano near La Mitad Del Mundo. It’s the only place in the world where people live inside the crater of an active volcano and we got to see it before the clouds rolled in. • People live in the heart of the crater and they cultivate vegetables and fruits, and also produce milk that people consume in the city of Quito. • This is just unbelievable! I was told that steam is visible in the early morning when the sun is rising and condensation happens as a natural phenomenon. It’s just insane to think someone would dare to live in the heart of an active volcano that could explode at any given moment 🌋 • Ecuador doesn’t cease to amaze me with its amazing and unexpected beauty. This was something to see and experience in person.
