(x) ""process gif" thats really more of a layer dissection. also my lines + my reference board. I only have one screen so for better or worse everything gets dumped onto the same canvas

ive been trying this coloring thing lately (read: the past year or so) where I just try to do the most possible work in the flats stage and then slap lights all over it until it looks decent UM. AND IDK if its working. the idea is that i'll use less layers but actually i think at the end of the day I'm using more layers. and sometimes I like the result more than others. I think this turned out ok, feels a little generic to me though. when I zoomed out and looked at the composition flat I was like oh god its blue orange movie poster lighting.
