pretty good. spent most of the day doing finance homework and resting. i've been kinda sick and midterms are next week so i've been trying to force myself into getting better quick haha.

☆ DESCRIPTION

The youngest of a three sibling family, Al's used to being told what to do - and just as used to ignoring it and doing his own thing. He and his siblings, both significantly older, have been on their own since Al was very young. His parents were caught in the Scarborough Zero Impact Incident, which Al and his siblings missed by only a few blocks. He remembers more than he's ever told his siblings, despite only being 4 years old at the time. It haunts him. Al started going to the gym as a way to affirm his gender and make his body look the way he wants, but he fell in love with the beauty of activity and athleticism. He doesn't enjoy fighting so much as playing the trickster, the jester, but he's been learning for over six years now and has some moderate skill in a couple areas. But what he really loves to hone and play with is his meta power. Al uses his friction manipulation to skate with his shoes anywhere, to turn his skateboard into a high speed transport, to dance, to play, to tease, to prank, and more. He is a meta who lives and breathes his power and his love of other metas. And it's part of what draws him to Nat, initially. But the city leaves his dissatisfied. He can't figure out why. No thrills, no excitement, no dangers, have ever left Al feeling satisfied in Veda, and he's running out of ideas to chase. Sure, he can just hang with people, but he's always aware of the walls around him - even when he's outside. Nat's life promises to be the danger - the adventure - that Al's been dreaming of. One that might finally drag him out of his funk and back into the light. And if he gets to help them along the way - perfect. He'd love the chance to repay them for reigniting the spark in his veins.

wakes up first.

hazel, he’s always been an early riser & sienna enjoys her lazy mornings, or at least getting that extra half hour while watching him get ready.

sings in the shower.

neither really, hazel might hum along to the radio every once in a while.

makes breakfast every morning.

hazel, to the background noise of sienna grumbling that she’s not a child & doesn’t need to be coddled like one. she quickly loses that stance when she tastes how good hazel’s spiced eggs are.

is the first to think about adopting / having a child.

neither, children are a very obvious weak spot that could be used against them & honestly, neither sienna or hazel are ready to open themselves up to that potential pain. they do have enough in each other & accepted that a child wouldn’t make them “more complete.”

gets sick the easiest.

sienna, though she’s incredibly well versed at hiding it until hazel sees her sneezing one day & the goes into quiet but firm protective mode. she’s promptly put back into bed with soup & tea & tissues.

loves to cuddle.

lowkey hazel, sienna’s woken up more mornings than not with his arms wrapped around her, face buried against her neck & his body almost seeming like a shield between her & the rest of the world ... she doesn’t hate it.

falls asleep on the couch while they’re watching a movie.

neither, if they settle down to watch a movie then they intend to watch it all the way through & a few interesting conversations have come from their movie choices.

is super clingy.

neither are really that clingy, but there is an inherent protectiveness to hazel’s actions even though he acknowledges that sienna is far harder to hurt than she looks; but she does understand & doesn’t kick up too much of a fuss.

17. What Olympic sport would you love to excel at?

I’d love to excel at figure skating. It’s probably my love of dance chucked together with my awe of gymnastics. As it is, I’m lucky if I can just keep my feet under me while skating. Also I’d absolutely freeze to death if I had to spend that amount of time in an ice rink lol

Thank you, all of you. This was such a wonderful day and I am genuinely overwhelmed with the amount of love and well wishes I have received today. I’ve been moved to tears, I’ve laughed, and I’ve genuinely had such a nice day. Genuinely, I think, the best day I’ve had in 2020. I just. Fuck.
