Swiss is the most enthusiastic out of the boys. He is all about showing his love and affection to those he loves, he feels so accomplished when he can make them smile. He’s also a huge fucking romantic. He gets up extra early to prepare a breakfast in bed, being sure to send a sweet little message so you have something to wake up to. He begs Mountain to let him clip some flowers from the garden, even asking him to borrow one of his books so he can make a bouquet that really express his love. He’ll spend all day with you until it gets close to dinner. He slips away to cook you your favorite and steal some of the good wine from Terzo’s personal collection. He slinks back to your room when he’s finished intent on sweeping you away to a magical candle lit dinner. Unfortunately he doesn’t get that far because you give him your own gift you prepared when while he was away and he just absolutely fucking melts.

And of course, because it’s Swiss once he regains his composure he practically jumps on you. He kisses you with adoration and worship on his tongue. Dinner is completely forgotten about.

Phantom is excited because he thinks all the human holidays are fun. When he finds out there’s on specifically for saying I love you he’s even more excited. He loves his packmates! He’s so affectionate! He takes this as an excuse to run up to the others and give them little kisses. When he learns what a valentines is, he spends all day making sweet little notes to press into the hands of any Siblings he passes. He writes the ghouls and papa personalized letters though.

He gets his hands on little heart stickers too, sticking them on anyone who looks like they’re not having a good day. It instantly earns a smile when a purring ghoul with big purple eyes just walks up and silently presses a sticker to your forehead. He also goes absolutely fucking ham with all the extra sweets lying around. He slams down multiple boxes of chocolates.

Mountain doesn’t make a big grand show out of it. He has something planned of course, but it’s small and more personal. He’s going to wait till the end of the day, silently walking with you to the greenhouse. The inside is done up with soft fairy lights and the old stereo is playing some slow song. He holds you close, swaying with you to the rhythm. He sprouts some flowers around his horns just to show off a bit.

Once all the songs are done, he’ll sit with you on the workbench and exchange gifts. He’s over the moon getting anything from you, kissing you and thanking you for thinking of him. He gives you something handmade.

Dew is completely silent about it. If asked he’ll give the usual “cooperate bullshit made up holiday” but his actions speak louder. He is an acts of service ghoul. He makes absolutely sure all of the ghouls and papa are taken care of. If anyone goes to practice they’ll find their instruments cleaned/restringed/what have you. When Phantom hands him that sappy little letter he immediately sneaks into the bug’s room and cleans it for him, but he also leaves a small box of chocolates and a singular rose on his desk when he’s finished.

He does something like that for all the ghouls. He finds out what was giving them the most stress recently and just does it. He tries to deny anything, but when they all corner him later and press I love you’s into his skin with soft hands and lips he nearly cries.

Rain has a complete disdain for the holiday. He doesn’t like it because he finds it stupid there needs to be a whole holiday to show someone love and devotion. Rain is such a devoted lover though, so he gives in when everyone else does. He absolutely refuses to buy anything, taking the Mountain approach and hand making something. Rain will either draw or paint something for you. If this stupid holiday is all about showing your love then that’s what Rain will do. He ruminates on everything he feels and creates a piece completely dedicated to that.

He will feel just a bit insulted though if you do buy something for him. However, if he’s also given something handmade he can’t help the small little smile it brings. He’ll make you tell him about the process and why you made what you did.

Aether is very simple but very effective. He dresses up, wears an expensive cologne he never touches and takes you out. You go to a very fancy dinner before you two sneak off into the woods so he can let his glamour down. Though the big sap had it all planned out. Once you arrive in the clearing there’s a blanket and a projector. He holds you close to him while you watch a movie of your choosing, but you don’t get that far.

You stare at the sky and tells you about the stars before going on some tangent about how much he loves you, comparing you to the galaxies.

Aurora loves it mostly for the aesthetic. A day where everyone is pink and heart shaped sounds absolutely amazing to her. She decorates the whole den with fun little heart lights and banners and roses. She carries around a bag of those heart shaped suckers and gives them to people. She absolutely tries to get everyone to sit with her to watch shitty little romcoms.

She makes heart shaped cookies to share. If she stumbles across anyone who’s sad that day she’ll snatch them up so fast and take them to her room where she’ll make cute little crafts with them.

Cirrus is like Mountain where she’s waiting for the very end of the day to pull out all the stops. She wants no interruptions once she starts, you’re spending all night with her. She absolutely buys one of those giant ass teddy bears and balloons and chocolates. She smothers you with affection. She even got herself a new lacy little number in your favorite color. She genuinely doesn’t expect or really want anything in return, she likes doing the loving and the gift giving. Though she doesn’t say no to a few extra kisses.

She absolutely has Swiss snatch a bottle of wine for her when he’s down in the cellar rooting through Terzo’s stash.

Cumulus is all sweet about it. She makes a handmade card with the sappy little Valentine’s Day messages on them. She bakes a cake for you two to share while watching movies together. She wears one of her favorite lipsticks just to leave little kisses all over your face. Though, when you get her gift her demeanor quickly changes. You open the box and it’s a little photo album. Inside is a Polaroid collect of her either nude or in lingerie that leaves very little to the imagination.

She giggles at your reaction before slipping out of her dress to reveal the piece in the pictures. She makes sure her lipstick stains are everywhere.

Sunshine unfortunately completely forgets about the holiday and scrambles to last minute get something so she doesn’t make you feel unloved. Because of this, she ends up going super over the top. Thoughts about Cumulus pampering Dew and braiding his hair.

The ghouls sit in the common room watching a silly movie that Phantom had begged them all to watch with him. Everyone agrees. Even Dewdrop although he made a show of rolling his eyes and complaining that the movie would be boring. Now though, he’s ensconced between the ghoulettes. His head is in Cumulus’ lap. Cirrus and Sunshine are on either side, pressed up against him. Aurora is curled up in his arms. There’s seismic event levels of purring happening in that corner of the room.

At some point Cumulus gets her hands in his hair. She starts by just carding her claws across his scalp, soothing and gentle. Once he’s melted into a puddle, she starts braiding. She choses a complicated and ornate braid just because it takes longer. Dew’s sitting still and being cuddly for once and she wants to enjoy pampering him for as long as possible.

She’s about two thirds of the way done when he’s drifted off. Giggling, Sunny waves Mountain over. He grows some flowers for her and the girls use the opportunity to weave the blooms into his hair. For one week a month you were practically inconsolable and would hardly leave your room and the ghoulettes immediately noticed this.

There was a soft knock at the door, but you were in too much pain to get up, luckily the door was unlocked since you rushed to your bed after trying to get some food. Sunshine opens the door and all four ghoulettes come in with various looks of concern upon seeing you curled up on your bed, you looked way worse than they had imagined. “W-what are you all doing here?” You look at them a little embarrassed, not wanting anyone around while you felt so horrible.

It was already hard trying to keep it together long enough to get food without crying, but now you had four ghoulettes in your room while you looked and felt like a mess. “Honey..” Cirrus says softly, shutting the door behind them and coming to sit down in the bed next to you. “Why are you all curled up?” Sunshine sits on the floor next to you, cumulus sits in a nearby chair with Aurora in her lap since there wasn’t much furniture to sit on.

“I feel sick..” You mumble, trying not to tear up from how bad you feel, which was getting harder and harder. “Well we brought you some stuff!” Sunshine nearly yells, but tamps down her enthusiasm when she remembers how bad you feel. “Yeah, we got you food, medicine, a personal heating pad.” Aurora giggles softly, pointing to Sunshine who the ghoulettes often curled up with when they were cold.

“We can leave if you want, we just want to make sure you’re okay first.” Cumulus adds on, holding up an actual heating pad incase you do want them to leave. You start to sniffle softly, a combination of happy tears from feeling so cared for, and overwhelmed tears since your cramps were killing you. “T-thank you..” The ghoulettes take this as their cue to curl around you to comfort and take care of you. Sunshine pulls you into her arms and placing her hand on your pelvis, warming them up to ease your pain.

The others get comfortable around you however they can, wanting to practically cocoon you with their bodies. “Now what’s wrong?” Cirrus knows it’s your period, they all do as they’ve had similar experiences, but she’s trying to get to the bottom of the issue.

“E-ever since I was summoned here my period has been all messed up and nothing helps like it used to!” You bury your face into a pillow, trying to hide your tears. Cumulus gently rubs your back, trying to soothe you as best they can. “Aw sugar.. why haven’t you gone to the doctor? I’m sure they can help.”

You lightly shake your head at the mention of doctors, and they can tell you seem a bit nervous about it. “I don’t like them.. a-and this stuff is so embarrassing..” Aurora scoots around a little bit, trying to get a bit closer to you. “I know doctors are scary, but we can go with you! Cirrus takes me to my appointments, she makes them less scary.”

Cirrus smiles and gently brushes your hair out of your face. “I would be happy to take you, we all would. Doctors don’t have to be scary dear.. and this shouldn’t be embarrassing. We all have to deal with this.” Cumulus grabs out the jar of cookie dough she brought you, offering it out, which you promptly took with a smile. “We’ll always help you out sugar.”

Sunshine opens the jar for you with a soft smile, before going back to kneading at your stomach. “Yeah! Always.” You giggle softly and take a bite of cookie dough with a smile. “You girls are the best.”

- The Ghouls are able to sense menstrual cycles within the Siblings of Sin and will take turns in checking in on said Sibling, making sure they are fairing okay. They are great at kneading and giving massages as well as keeping Sibling’s warm and cozy. Mountain in particular will get very protective and wrap them up in his arms and tail.

- Swiss has to show Phantom which items are safe to drink from and which ones aren’t, ever since Phantom “Bongwater” Ghoul drank from one of the Ghoulette’s old bongs.

- Mountain has numerous little burrows and caves that he has magically de-bugged. No spiders or creepy crawlies in there. He takes his mates to those places, entrances often covered by lichen or different vines. Inside there are animal pelts and some snacks. He likes to mate in secret.

These are so cute I’m literally crying!! The thought of Mountain having secret little burrows is so insanely adorable. He’s always moving the entrance so only he knows where it is at all times. He’s very selective about who he takes down there, even though all the ghouls and Copia have been down there, he only lets people he fully trusts in there. It’s his special place he doesn’t want it to be ruined. The new ghouls have yet to be shown Mountains secret burrows but they’re getting close. I could write a full fic on this I love the idea so much!

The image of freshly summoned Phantom immediately lunging for an old bong and downing the water while all other ghouls watch in pure horror is so funny to me. Before he officially named Swiss gave him the nickname of bongwater, and despite behind named now the nickname kinda stuck. Swiss also caught him drinking from puddles and old bath water. He’s still getting use to using glasses and mugs, okay?

I hc that ghouls can smell blood, especially water ghouls, they’re a little shark like, so they can always smell it and know who to take extra care with that week. Dew and Swiss get used as heat packs, and while Dew will always complain about it, he never stops purring when he’s helping a sibling. Phantom and Aether are very happy to get used as real life painkillers, Phantom especially loves the extra attention.
