Album a day poll
Winner of last poll: “Floral Strobe” by False Noise
Votes are appreciated even if you don’t know any of the albums :}
Review of last album: “Collapsed in Sunbeams” by Arlo Parks
I already knew and quite liked one song from this album. I didn’t really like the rest of it all that much. It might be nice to put on in the background for something but probably not something I’ll be listening to a lot in the future.

Guz celebrates the Apollo 11's 54th 412th landing anniversary in her own way.
("Wow isn't it so cool that your space program was landing people on a planet that orbits your homeworld just like a decade after starting? Even when Omen's close it's nowhere near as convenient to reach! It took 33 years for Mellanoid Space Program to send a crew to orbit another planet for the first time... oh, you... don't consider Luna a planet?")

Go!
This is Apollo Control at 102 hours into the flight of Apollo 11
It's grown quite quiet here in Mission Control
A few moments ago flight director Gene Kranz requested that everyone sit down
Get prepared for events that are coming
And he closed with a remark of good luck to all of you

Album a day poll
Votes are appreciated even if you don’t know any of the albums!
I sort of messed up the polls by not posting on yesterday, so I listened to two albums for this poll and the next one will not have any reviews.
Review(s) of the last album(s)
“Weezer” by Weezer (the blue album)
I actually really liked it! I thought I wouldn’t because it’s become such a meme but I enjoyed it a lot and will probably listen to it again
“The Normal Album” by Will Wood
I can see why people like it, and listening was generally an enjoyable experience, but it didn’t captivate me. Also, I think it would jar something severely in my identity and view of myself if I became a Will Wood fan.

говорит москва.
this is moscow, this is moscow calling
on the 12th of april the soviet union orbited a spaceship around the earth with a man on board. the astronaut is a soviet citizen: major gagarin, yuri alekseevich. the world’s first cosmonaut, the first to open the door into the unknown, the first to step over the threshold of our homeland.
the whole planet knew and loved him.
was it hazardous? yes it was. the first strides into the unknown were about to be made.
the hero who blazed the trail for the stars.
every one of us was with yuri gagarin as he orbited the earth 190 miles above us. astronaut to earth: i can see forests, rivers, cumulus clouds all around everything’s so beautiful, it’s wonderful, it’s wonderful…
#what the fuck i think i blacked out the other night and mass liked insane electronica#public service broadcasting#gagarin#the race for space#music#Spotify#this fucks so hard i can’t believe this. the horns? hello?
