Webnovel Carrd Links [Part 1]
I usually use Novel Updates, but Carrds are great to support the author, find translations not on NU, find Content Warnings, and learn more about the story / other adaptations. If there's a novel not here, it can be helpful to search the name of the novel + "carrd" or "novel updates"

Here is where I sit with my hormones and HRT. Because my healthcare provider is horrible ass on a good day (read my missive on getting my records and making appointments, shots, etc.) I DIY which I do NOT recommend for anyone.
Before the offer came, I spoke with a nurse at one of the doctors who a lot of transgender women go to for HRT. It was great. She listened and was shocked at how bad my healthcare is here. Recommended which insurance type to get. Primary care physicians. The whole 9 yards.
When the first offer backed out I was near the end of my hormones so I let it pass because the whole bit with time to delivery from order, etc. I have baseball cards and coins in the same position that need to be graded. Some things have to wait.
Sucks but sometimes you have to work through it.
As I look at my health plan options it hits me that the EPO or recommended option for informed consent is roughly $270 a month more than an HMO. That is before we get into antiboyotics.
Looks like I will go HMO until the end of the year until I work out all the details. Fine with me. A pain in the butt but it will give me time to get settled, business back up and running, car, housing, etc.
Also gives me the opportunity to do a deeper dive into health plans and how much they cover. Informed consent options. Referrals. Costs of femme’n’m’s. The whole nine yards. I know who I want as my physician. I just need to get on the path to get there.
As long as I know points A and B I can work out the details.
Life lesson for working out issues. If you know the problem and solution, you just need to put the pieces together.
Typical Monday. Dollar store and post office. Played pubg. Nuggies for dinner. Name is a callback to the lore.

Edit: it was a 4 kill win. I suck at ar’s so I switched to my dmr for the win. LOL.
My grip game is ass.

Building the Ultimate PUBG Mobile Team: Unleashing Tactical Dominance
In the fast-paced and competitive world of PUBG Mobile, assembling the perfect team is essential for achieving victory. A balanced combination of individual skills, strategic thinking, and seamless teamwork can elevate your squad to new heights. Join us as we delve into the key elements of crafting the ultimate PUBG Mobile team.
Tumblr media
Complementary Roles and Specializations A successful team is built upon players who excel in specific roles. Start by designating a leader, responsible for making quick decisions and coordinating team movements. Next, focus on recruiting players who specialize in different aspects such as assault, sniper, support, and scout. Complementary roles ensure that each team member can maximize their potential and contribute to the overall strategy.
Communication and Coordination Effective communication is the backbone of a well-oiled PUBG Mobile team. Establish clear and concise callouts to relay vital information, including enemy positions, loot availability, and tactical plans. Utilize voice chat or third-party apps to maintain real-time coordination and minimize misunderstandings. Regularly practice strategies and engage in mock battles to enhance team synergy and develop intuitive understanding.
Strategy and Adaptability A successful team is adaptable and capable of adjusting strategies on the fly. Analyze the playing styles of opponents, devise effective counter-strategies, and adapt to the ever-changing circle movements. Assign roles for early game, mid-game, and endgame scenarios to ensure efficient decision-making and resource management. The ability to quickly adapt and overcome challenges is a crucial trait that separates the best teams from the rest.
Individual Skills and Continuous Improvement While teamwork is vital, individual skills cannot be overlooked. Encourage each team member to continually improve their gameplay mechanics, aiming accuracy, and situational awareness. Regularly practice recoil control, grenade throws, and movement techniques to enhance overall combat effectiveness. Additionally, staying updated with the latest game patches, weapon balance changes, and new tactics is essential for staying ahead of the competition.
Trust and Support Building trust within the team is paramount for success. Foster an environment where teammates can rely on each other and support one another both in-game and outside. Encourage constructive feedback, identify areas of improvement, and provide positive reinforcement for achievements. Establish a strong team morale and motivate players during challenging moments, as it can greatly influence performance during intense battles.
Review and Analysis Regularly review gameplay recordings or replays to identify areas of weakness and strength. Analyze the decision-making process, individual contributions, and overall team performance. Learning from past mistakes and successes will help refine strategies, improve coordination, and reinforce the team's overall approach. Use analytics tools and statistics to evaluate performance metrics, such as average kills per match, survival rate, and damage dealt.

LITERATURE LESSON | QIAN KUN
genre: drabble, daddy fic
warnings: mature theme with no smut,
Dilf! Kun, Uni! Reader, bff! Chenle
Words: 1,6k
Chenle invites you to do your internship project at his dads publishing house. But with the bad weather and no one but you showing up to his office, Kun decides to get your advice on his...erotic literature novel.
————————————————————————-
“Do you have an internship set up yet for the final project ?” You asked while you watched Chenle annihilate yet another player on pubg. The two of you being the anti-social best friends that you were, snuck up to his dorm in order to avoid the career day market that was being held at your university.
“Nah” Chenle simply replied as his face neared his phone screen setting up his next kill, “I think I’m just gonna intern at my dad.”
All you knew about Chenle’s dad was that he was always busy and never home whenever the two of you decided to hang out at Chenle’s place during vacations. You watched as Chenle took yet another victory, finally feeling satisfied enough to set aside his phone and give you his full attention. “Why don’t you come with me to my dads place?” He shrugged.
“I don’t even know what your Dad does Chenle”
“Well he’s not a drug dealer or something”
You flung a pillow at him as Chenle giggled erratically, avoiding the pillow and surrendered by putting his arms above his head.
“Sorry...okay well my dad is an author but he also runs a publishing company” Chenle explained and pulled out a few pictures to give you a better idea of how much really went on at his dads office.
You stretched your arms behind you. “Well I am majoring in journalism this would probably look good on my resume”
“Exactly so are you in ?”
“I’m in! I hope your dad likes me.”
You finally found the publishing house and rung the doorbell, praying to God that you weren’t too early and no one was in yet.
After about two minutes the door finally creaked open and there stood a very dashing man, dressed in shades of brown and pair of spectacles that rested on his sculpted face.
After about two minutes the door finally creaked open and there stood a very dashing man, dressed in shades of brown and pair of spectacles that rested on his sculpted face.
“Y/n right ? Come in come in” the man said quickly shielding you from the droplets of your umbrella and offered to hang up your coat.
“Thank you” you smiled shyly, finally warming up in the cozy hallway that seemed homier than you expected.
The man smiled back, pushing back his blonde hair as he held out his hand to you, “I’m Qian Kun, Chenle’s dad.”
“Oh h-hi sir ...uh Mr Qian” you stumbled over your words.
Kun chuckled and waved his hand in front of him, “please please just call me Kun”
You nodded and pressed your lips together as he gestured you to enter the next room and you expected to see one other person but it was surprisingly empty.
“I guess everyone decided against coming into work today” Kun scratched the back of his head, “the weather is extremely bad I told Chenle to also stay back, I’m surprised you’re even here.”
“Well I thought that he would be here...don’t you guys live together or something ?” You were taken aback by your own bluntness, forgetting you were conversing with someone much older than you.
Kun bit down on his lip and nervously adjusted his turtle neck as this was the first time he met any of Chenle’s friends.
“Well I actually live here, Chenle’s mom and I are separated, he lives with her” Kun carefully explained and you wanted to punch yourself for putting the both of you in this uncomfortable atmosphere.
“Oh....okay well are you closed then ? Do I need to like leave ?” You mumbled as your eyes drifted to the mountains of books that lay around.
“No it’s okay you can stay, it’s way too dangerous to be walking out in weather like this, I’ll find something for you to do y/n” Kun smiled sweetly and you felt yourself blush. He was incredibly handsome and so poised. He looked much younger than you expected, and the way he dressed only accentuated his perfect body. We’re you checking out your best friends dad ?
Kun snapped you out of your daydream and handed you a warm cup of tea as the two of you sat in a mini library. Soft indie music filled the room, harmonizing with the droplets that hit against the window from the outside.
Kun made you do a bit of record keeping for one of the latest books that was about to be published by his company. It seemed all too natural to talk to him and because of your common interests in novels, Kun was quickly impressed with how well you held conversations despite being quite young.
“You have more knowledge on Stephen King than any of my employees here you know that ?” Kun quirked his eyebrow at you.
“I love horror novels, I’m not sure why but the adrenaline it gives me....”
“I appreciate his writing but I can’t stand creepy stuff” Kun shook his head, typing away at his desk.
“Well I don’t only read horror I also prefer romance novels but not the sappy kind” you shrugged as your eyes were still stuck on the book keeping sheet, completely unaware that Kun had stopped typing and was looking over at you.
“Oh? Then what kind of romance ?” He quizzed, resting his elbows on his desk and bit down on his thumb.
You were still in your own bubble unaware that the atmosphere had shifted. You had been talking to Kun for almost 6 hours now and it felt like the most natural thing in the world - as long as you weren’t looking directly at him.
“I like forbidden romance, also I know there’s a stigma around them but erotic novels are actually pretty well written”
“Oh really?”
“Yeah I think it’s pretty amazing how writers can capture passion and...lust like that” you swallowed hard as you now felt the tension in the room.
You turned back to see Kun staring directly back at you, his eyes were narrowed as if he were deep in thought.
“Is...is everything okay?” You asked in a small voice. The way he stared gave you butterflies in your stomach, you had to keep reminding yourself that this was your best friends father.
Kun stood up from his seat and rolled his sleeves up as he began rummaging through a box that sat on a counter top near the foyer. He returned and handed you a small booklet, taking a seat on the couch next to you.
“This is a draft for a novel I was planning on writing but ended up scrapping because the...lewd scenes...were too uncomfortable for me to write” he coughed as he watched your eyes scan the paper.
You cocked your head to the side and nodded as you took in word for word before handing back the script, “it’s not bad it’s just not alluring enough.”
“Alluring ?”
“Yeah” you responded and turned your body to face him, “I think when starting off with a passionate kiss, there needs to be more impact”
You took his warm hand in yours and felt your heart do a somersault but you kept your composure.
“May I demonstrate ?” You bit down on your lip and looked up at him.
“As long as it’s okay with you, by all means please teach me y/n” Kun agreed while his eyes fell down to your plump lips.
You neared his face and kissed him softly, nothing too intense even though it felt like you were on fire. The kiss was simple but the way Kun kissed you made you aware of his experience and it was so goddamn attractive.
“That’s practically how you wrote their passionate kiss, it’s good but it can be a lot better” you explained and before you could let go of his hand Kun tugged you a bit closer,
“Well then y/n, show me” he said lowly as he licked his lips.
You responded by straddling his lap and allowed him to shift a bit lower, enough for your eyes to meet his. Kun raised his eyebrow, waiting for your next instruction like a model student.
“Grab my thighs” you whispered into his ear and he listened, immediately squeezing your thighs as you unconsciously let out a moan. Kun smirked up at you as you composed yourself and wrapped an arm around his neck and the other tangled with his hair.
You pressed your lips to his, this time harsher than before and without any instruction Kun took the lead in the kiss and the lesson became the real thing. Kun pulled you closer to his body and when his hand found your ass your gasp allowed him to slip his tongue into your mouth, completely dominating you.
It seemed like hours you two were in that position, completely lost in the kiss and each other. Kun felt almost brand new. He was a very reserved person and he would never do something like this but he was enamored by your presence. All he wanted was more.
You finally broke the kiss as you needed to catch your breath. You still sat in Kuns lap, legs on either side of him as you ran your hands down his toned body and bit your lip.
“You know I could teach you more about erotic literature if you want Mr Qian” you purred.
“Well there’s so much I clearly need to learn from you y/n lets get to work.”

So, its that time of the year again. Everyone losing their minds over "cringe" collaboration from Fortnite. This time its Street Fighter that become the victim of "cringe" collab or some shit. I gotta say the people reaction are so overblown and melodramatic at best. And now everyone is calling out CAPCOM and others that "UGH FORTNITE RUINS STREET FIGHTER THIS IS NOT HOW THINGS SUPPOSED TO GO" and stuff kinda like what happened to God of War and Fornite. What's you take on this?
Fortnite is very popular. Very, very popular. I think they claimed that they had something like 17 million concurrent users participating in the Galactus event at the end of last season? It was a new record for them.
So you know how there’s a bunch of insufferable people that go on twitter and they’re all smug like “I only watch the Super Bowl for the ads”? They take pride in swimming up stream, of doing the opposite of what’s popular, because THEY aren’t a MINDLESS SHEEP. Take THAT, popular culture! I’m COUNTER culture! There are a lot of (frankly insufferable) people who are like that about Fortnite.
Fortnite also skews young, or at least the perception is that it skews young, so you also end up with a big group of teenagers who are desperate to validate their own maturity, because since they were 6 years old their family has told them what a “big boy” they are! Gotta live up to that standard, which means you can’t like “baby stuff” anymore! To them, Fortnite is something they played when they were 14, and now that they’re 17, they play Call of Duty Warzone and PUBG or whatever. “Fortnite? I grew out of Fortnite when I was a kid,” says somebody who is referring to a time that was only two and a half years ago.
And it becomes an especially big problem with Kratos and Street Fighter because those are viewed as very mature properties. God of War was reborn in the “prestige TV video game” mold. It’s about a dad protecting his son and grappling with his inner devils while trying to teach his kid to be a better person than he was. It’s a game for ADULTS who like serious drama! It's a good game, but it's also part of a larger image Sony is putting forward of... like I said, the "prestige TV game" and the sort of... "importance" that comes with that. It's For Adults™.
And Street Fighter is fully esports now. It revitalized the fighting game genre and it birthed and supported an entire industry of professional players and million dollar tournaments. Being good at Street Fighter is practically an art form. It’s sliding in to the same place football and baseball rest, where it’s something your dad watches (keeping in mind that people my age are approaching 40 and when I say "dads" I mean my generation) and if you get in to it at a young age then it becomes this badge of sophistication because you understand the strategy of it all.
Fortnite, the “baby game,” threatens the inherent maturity behind these concepts, even for real, card-carrying adults. People who feel smart and complex because they like this stuff now find themselves emasculated or at the very least debased at the sight of Ryu as anything other than a stone-hearted warrior. Even artwork depicting the man just smiling is enough to make some recoil in horror, because everything they’ve built up in their heads, all of the security of who they are, comes under fire. They chose this thing to prove to the world how cool and adult they are, and now those things might not be so cool and adult. It feels “wrong.”
Don’t get me wrong. There’s a lot about Fortnite that’s worth hating. Learning to deal with the build system and people who know how to turbo-build is probably the biggest legitimate barrier for entry in that game and I don’t begrudge anyone who doesn’t want to deal with it. It sucks, and you kind of just have to learn to accept that sometimes a sweatlord is going to build a coffin around you and then murder you in it. I’d argue a lot of the quest-oriented stuff Fortnite’s been experimenting with in the last few seasons has been to take the pressure off of getting first-place wins and providing smaller, easier goals for less skilled players. That way, even if you get, like, 40th place, at least you made quest progress first.
But a lot of the hatred I get from people who reply to that Ryu Gangam Style tweet I made with comments of “just kill me” or using that stupid Godfather “Look at how they massacred my boy” gif, most of those are from people who feel their personal view of maturity being threatened and refuse to let go.
Sucks for them, because if you can learn to accept turbo-builder clowns, Fortnite is a remarkably fun game. I love all of the fun, weird lore the game has, I love to explore the world, and I think it’s much easier to “read” at a glance what all the guns and stuff do. PUBG is a game where I always felt afraid to breathe, and like I needed a spreadsheet to figure out all the guns and attachments, but that’s never really been much of an issue in Fortnite.
Literally the only problem are builders, and even then, if you take the builders out of Fortnite then it stops being Fortnite, you know? (and Epic has been trying to empower people to fight back against builders; there’s a fire propagation system now that can burn down some player structures, and vehicles can smash down player-built walls)
Anyway, I find it’s best to not engage with people who hate Fortnite for such simple reasons like thinking they’re too cool for it.
