Shadowhunter!Alec and ACTUAL mundane!Magnus?

You know, Izzy dated that doctor for a bit, and no one batted an eye. (and it's not like mundanes can't *become* part of the shadow world, via ascension to a shadowhunter through the mortal cup, or becoming a vamp or werewolf, etc...)

Anyway, so established Malec (which his family is cool with because we are going with the version of Maryse that had turned over a new leaf and was supportive of her children).

And maybe Magnus isn't a *complete* mundane, but more... "Angel touched" or something, because he has psychic abilities but doesn't know about the shadow world and just thinks of his "power" as some bizarre gift. (maybe he helps out the police occasionally and that's how he knows Luke.)

Anyway, Alec hasn't yet come clean to Magnus about all the stuff, but their relationship is at this point where it's serious.

Life-long commitment or end-it serious.

And his whole family (who of course know Magnus as well), encourage him to tell Magnus.

"Come on. Magnus is cool. He will understand. He might be pissed that you kept it a secret for *this* long, but he loves you."

But of course something happens that reveals the shadow world to Magnus, (as well as the Lightwood's involvment with it), and while Alec is panicking, Magnus just goes like "Phew. So that is why the tattoos and the injuries you thought you were hiding from me and the sudden absences all the time. Good lord, I thought you were part of the Mafia or something. Honestly, this is a huge relief."

I'm a big horror fan and I've listened to all of TMA and nothing has been quiet as horrifying or difficult to get through as TMP 16 - Anti-Social, where the narrator is exclusively using youtuber/influencer speak

Remembering that now lestat was turned whn he was 34 he and nicki were probably together for like 14 years… and that it took him a hundred years to try again… and that he’s more connected to music than theatre and plays in this version 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 like imagine youre lestat and you are deeply in love with your first love your husband of 14 years the love of your life and you have a job you love and you are happy you are so so debilitatingly happy and suddenly you are taken away from all of it and you are thrust into this life of killing and monstrosity and then he loses his mind and dies and dies and dies over and over again and you try to save him but he only gets worse and in the end when he dies for the final time he dies without his mind and hating you. Like personally i couldnt do it
