11) what aspect of your writing do you think has most improved since you started writing? Oy, what hasn't? 😅 Hmm, it's hard to choose. Just based on the chapters I'm editing right now, my sentence structuring, timing, and flow are much better now than they were.

21) what do you think when you read over your older work? *cough* I did my reread and was mildly horrified I'd sent that out to people (betas) to read. Also, holy hell, I've improved so much.

It's hard not to compare to where I'm at now, especially since it hasn't been that long since I finished (my older work consists of a novel I finished in june of last year lol)

second, I can see the image of william marching with the prisoners to town. Dude, that was epic! Call me crazy but it was really cute seeing william having fun and singing while they were forced to follow him. He is the best <3

I thought maybe he would kill charlie because he ended up stabbing kate, but no, he let him go. I think it was a wise decision. That inspector manipulated charlie

third, elbert's antics are amazing ahahah. He is such a hoarder, even with humans. I mean, what was that? He carried MC to her room after Roger patched her up. And there he basically said he would want her if she answered the question he wanted to ask correctly.

and where was alfons? He probably saw MC getting stabbed and william marching with the prisoners to town but he didn't appear. naughty boy!

Finally read detective comics #1000.... shits disappointing tbh.

Maybe its bc it ended on Tom King's part idk (i had already read the arkham knight part so for me it ended there). Idk.

Also it reeks is sexist writing tbh like. Jason and Duke get this fun moment (yea. I kinda liked that part. Just like seeing Duke.) Dick and Damian had this conversation that,, sure happened. What do the girls get?

Selina says 2 whole things: a meow and a greeting, just calling Bruce "Bat", in typical Tom King fashion. (He has ruined those nicknames for them for me.) Literally could just have been Alfred the Cat. At least then the panel with the two of them would have been neat then.

And Cass and Helena have a conversation thats okay i guess? I just dont think Cass would fuck with Helena that much actually idk (might have missed stuff that proves otherwise) its not really saying much about them other than "hrm the boys are loud and dumb" (shorthand for funny girl writing) like ok. See me care.

And Kate and Babs have the most ridiculous, borderline stereotypical "men writing feminism but 'accidentaly' making it sexist" conversation in recent comic history. Im not sorry but Neo-batgirl Babs annoys the shit out of me and Tom Kings writing made it worse.

"Have you been to war?" (<- kate) "ive dated dick grayson" ma'am your spine got reconstructed by the joker, your brother is a serial killer, etc. You have had bigger issues. Also the whole thing about "why are you -woman and i -girl?"

A) BECAUSE BABS CHOSE IT WHEN SHE WAS A GIRL (and to yk, entice younger readers/viewers. In this case also bc it was a callback to Betty Kane, from when there was a Batwoman and a Batgirl, bc they differed in age. Its not that deep tbh. So many comic book discussions could be solved by realizing the context in which the characters were created/written in)

AND B) BC THE MANTLE SHOULDNT BE HERS ANYMORE. You're literally proving why she should not be wearing the cowl. (Simplifying it ofc but like. Cmon.) (Even tho she is acting like a child nowadays. God.)

Also maybe its bc im slowly making my way through the Batman Bronze Age (peak era) and bc im most familiar with Babs as Oracle through 90s comics and Batgirl (2000) but this neo-babs batgirl is so annoying!! She's so immature!

How to fix this? (Pspsp DC pspsps Its free psps)

Option A) Read: Oracle Code (or any other proper run but im assuming the writers dont wanna so im giving them a good and easy option) -> adapt into moderately mature arc for mainstream Babs where she grows and changes as a person -> breathe easy. Balance restored, etc.

Option B) keep her as Batgirl (bad choice) and just write her like a damn adult that doesnt create feelings of extreme violence in me (easy option) or

Option C) just reboot all of this (perfect choice) and create something based on pre-52. Entirety of DC tbh.

Chapter 2

Patrice was running after cat, but it was running too fast. She lost it when cat jumped into bushes in park. She just said "ok great...". She started to "pspsps" to get cat's attention. She dived into bushes. After some minutes walking there, she went to other side of park. It was very overgrown with vines and rose bushes. Patrice continued her mission annoyed.

Patrice: pspsps. Kitty kitty kitty. You need to go back to café.

???: Welcome. I felt your kind spirit from miles away.

Patrice grabbed a stick like a sword and hold it in front of herself for defence.

Patrice: who are you?! What do you want?!

???: You really have spirit of a dragon in you. A very fightful one. But I also smell fear. Don't be scared. I'm here to ask you for your help.

Patrice: help in what?! Tell or I'm going-

In front of her was a woman with long white hair and red eyes. Her skin was dark, but really pretty. Her clothes were taditional Japaneese Yakuta with pink flowers on it. Behind her back were 9 fluffy tails, and on her head were pair of long ears.

Patrice: -home...wow. Who are you?

Kitsune: I'm everything and nothing. I'm not a woman or a man. I'm not mean or a kind. But I can become everything if I want to. I stand here before your eyes to ask you for help. There are some evil spirits roaming this land, I can feel it. You need to banish them.

Patrice: me, a human vs spirits? No way. Not even for money.

Kitsune: I don't offer you fortune.

Kitsune walked closer to her, trying to hug her. Patrice pushed her away fastly. Kitsune got confused.

Patrice: no. Nope. No.

Kitsune: uhhh. Many humans would love it. But fine...take this, human and get out of my view.

Kitsune annoyed at her reaction, gave her a stick covered in vines and flowers. Patrice fastly went back to her group of friends.

Patrice: ey guys. I encountered a crazy lady in park. She gave me stick.

Kate: Patrice, dear. Never go to park alone again, okay?

Chess: she was pretty?

Cali: Cheese! No!

Patrice: yeah a bit. But not my type. I think she was cosplaying or something. Also she looked like this cat that runned away from café. But still, it was crazy.

Cali: Patrice. You should go home and sleep for few more hours. Maybe you don't have a job, but you need a rest, okay?

Kale: yeah. Cali's right. Good sleep is needed. I feel tired too, but I have another stream to make.

Patrice: yeah. Good idea. Thanks, guys. See ya.

Patrice walked back home. Tired from drawing all night, she just fell onto sofa and fell asleep.

(Story is mostly based on usual "magical woman" type of anime)

Chapter 1

Patrice was sitting at her desk. She was on voicechat with Kite (Kate), Cheese (Chess) and Cattus (Cali).

Cheese: and then Fairy said "stinky" on Kite's stream haha.

Kite: yeah I remember that lol.

Patrice: I don't really watch your streams, sorry. Have low wifi.

Kite: it's okay, don't worry. Anyways y'all going to eat something on town? I'm hungry as Hoovy.

Cattus: sure. Who's turn is it to choose place?

Kite: let's see. Cheese chose Burger King 2 days ago, Cattus chose pizza place yesterday. So now it's Patrice's turn.

Cheese: where you wanna go, Pat?

Patrice: hmmmm. You'll see. I'll send you location where it is, okay?

Cattus: sure

After call on voicechat, Patrice sended them location. She started to prepare for going out with her friends. She looked into her closet full of clothes. She chose dark gray cat witch-style t-shirt, dark knee socks and dark skirt. She putted on her dark ballerina shoes and went out to meet them for dinner.

They all arrived in front of popular cat café in town. Kate was having purple dress, Chess had simple t-shirt and shorts and Cali had her fancy blue dress on. They all went in happily. Waitress gave them a menu when they sat down.

Kate: what you all want? It's all on me. Had big Vtuber donation yesterday hehe

Chess: I'll pick cheese plate

Cali: I'll get some of those ham toasts, please

Kate: and you, Pat?

Patrice: I'll get some of the strawberry cake

Kate: sounds good. I'll get some of the dark purple cake. All lemonades?

Chess, Cali and Patrice: yeah!

Kate walked to one of workers to order food, while others were sitting.

Chess: Pat? You okay? You look awful today.

Cali: Cheese! He went that you look a bit pale. Also purple under your eyes is very worry like. You slept today?

Patrice: it's natural. I had it from beginning. Don't worry. Also yeah, I slept.

Cali: no, you didn't. I saw you posted your new art at 4AM. What's wrong?

Patrice: nothing, really.

Kate went back with food and they started eating. Cats were meowing to give them some of food. As they were finishing, a lady opened 2 doors at once. There are two doors to prevent cats from running away. When she opened two doors, a white cat with red eyes runned out. Patrice saw it and runned after the cat to catch it, leaving others confused.
