You crossed your arms, brows knitting in annoyance. "We are not dropping this. Punctuality should be a priority!"

A low chuckle escaped him. "You won't forgive me for being only a few minutes late?"

Your expression only grew more agitated from here. The shamelessness of this man is truely extraordinary. Though as his gaze continued to burn into you, your confidence began to waver.

"I just think-" your eyes wander off of him and instead shift to somewhere else. Anywhere else, really. As long as it wasn't him since you knew his glare and Cheshire grin were all it took for you to break. "I just think you should aim to be on time."

He seemed amused by you.

But why? It's not like you said anything funny.

"Oh my... are you still not going to forgive me?" He inched closer to you; so close that his scent began to haze your mind.

Your mouth opened slightly as if you were going to respond, yet all that came out was a single, broken, shaky breath.

"Maybe you'll forgive me if I were to..." His lips met yours in an instant, and they lingered there for a moment before he pulled away.

"Sweet." He mumbled to himself.

You were a mess. You had just been scolding him a second ago, hadn't you? Why was he the one in controll now? And just why did you have to fold under his charm so quickly?

You covered your face with your hands in embarrassment.

His lips tugged into a snide smile as he observed your pathetic attempt at hiding the blush on your face. "Are you doing alright? You seem a bit redder than before."

"I'm doing fine." You still couldn't bring yourself to look him in the eye.

"Really? I thought my teasing had become too much for you and you had started blushing or something.."

"I am not blushing!"

His teasing grin only widened, though it seemed like he decided to drop it in the end. "Of course. You never get flustered, after all."

You didn't say much; only uttering a "you suck," under your breath to which he immediately began laughing at.

"Well now that we have this settled, why don't we start on the actual reason for our meetup?"

Chapter four:

The most interesting smell that ever has invaded your nostrils is probably the musk that the radish spirit that was currently taking up 90% of the elevator was giving off right now. The odor itself was a weird mix of unwashed vegetables and a sopping mop making you the perfect amount of uncomfortable as you currently were squished against the wall of the lifting box with Kugisaki. Who was just as uncomfortable as you were, and by the sheer look of disgust and discomfort on her face contemplating all of her life's decisions at the current moment.

While you could clearly hear Nobara bickering under her breath phrases like 'of course it's always customer first' and 'stupid radish could have had his own ride but nooooo'; she could clearly hear your heart beating faster than the fingers of a pianist playing Rimsky-Korsakov's flight of the bumblebee. Or to put it quite simply fast enough where your heart might actually pound a hole into your ribcage.

"Psk, hey you." The fiery orange haired girl whisper quips at you to get your attention.

"What?" You whisper quip back at her in response.

"Is it the raddish man invading your space that's making you nervous, or are you nervous to meet the boss?"

"It's a bit of both honestly."

"Alright, well, I would try to calm those nerves because quite frankly your stop is next."

"Oh okay."

Right on schedule in alinement with the end of your conversation the mystical but iconic ding of the wooden metallic elevator marked the arrival and ascension to your desired floor. The distinctive rise then fall under your feet confirming the notification.

With another iconic ding you swiftly exited the elevator by shoving your way through a couple of limbs and a whole lot of radish flesh to meet the boss who you knew absolutely nothing about, other than that they seemed scary.

Finally with one last push off of the white rough stomach of the radish man, the elevator doors finally came to a close just as you stumbled into the supposed office of the person you are meeting.

To start off, to you, it seemed like this person never got out of their goth phase in high school because the majority of the coloration for the room was purple and black with the last five or so percent being navy. Gloomy would a an understatement considering the only thing lighting the room was short wicked candles.

Interestingly enough, the one place in the room that was supposed to be the most vibrant and teeming with light, and or the fire place, was actually the darkest and the most ominous about of all of the office's nooks and crannies. In fact, you couldn't even see the back of it which was very peculiar.

With the curiosity enough to kill a cat filling your mind you quickly waltz over to the place in the rooming daunting on your mind. Letting your self inspect the wood burner your eyes traced around the cold stone trim of the mechanism, ultimately leading your leading your full blown pupils to let in more light at the darkness of the cut out box in the wall the a chimney.

The uncomfort you felt in the tiny elevator was nothing compared to the events that happened next. Instantly your eyes contracted into little slits as you forcefully have to stumble back from the fire place as it burst into flames along with every light giving instrument bursting into vivid life all the while you try to adjust your in pain eyes to the new life reverberation happening around you.

Then suddenly with the burst of light illuminating the room a short old man walked in. Grey haired, stalky, and grumpy in stature he wore traditional robes over some sort of jeans that couldn't be seen, only the outline, and he used a guitar as a cane.

"There have been rumors swindling around in the hotel, honestly I was a little disappointed to find out that they were true, yet here you are making the effort to see me, but why?" He gruffed out in an old gravely voice.

"I'm here to find a job."

"A job huh? You have spirit i'll give you that but you're human."

"I may be human, but I can still work."

"Your diligence isn't the problem, you're smell is, it's horrendous, no one is going to want to smell it."

"Well I can work in the boiler room were no one else will be there!"

"There only needs to be one boiler person, are you suggesting you take yaga's job?"

"Well......no."

"My thought exactly, so leave."

"What?! Why I really need a job."

Then out of the blue a rushing breeze swifted across all of the surfaces in the room leaving a wake of flying papers, only then to reveal the new presence of black haired spirit Megumi that you've come to know.

"Well if it isn't my usual little problem." The older man scoffs at the younger spirit. "What do you want?"

"You requested to see me sir, I have" He gestured to the lump in his pocket with is hand lifting it up "what you asked for."

"A right that, just go put in the back and leave i'm dealing with something right now." Which he clearly meant you.

"Sorry to intrude sir." The younger spirit quips, but he wasn't done speaking. "I couldn't help but over hear the last bit of the conversation between the two of you. Even though they're a human we both know their smell is already fading, and it will continue to fade as they keep eating our food. Just a thought."

The young spirit then swooshed out of the office room as quickly as he came, leaving the small package behind out of your. Also leaving the older spirit in reconsidering though that was clearly displayed on his face as turned back to meet your face. Then with pulling out a piece of paper and a pen he gestured to you.

"Come and right your name."

Doing as he said you just over and snagged the paper and pen from his wrinkly hand. Tightening your grip, trying to make your pen-men ship as neat as possible when gliding your hand in strokes across the scrap. Writing your name, (Y/N). Right after the man in front of you magically whipped the paper into his hand once for the read the piece's contents.

"(Y/N), lovely name." With that notion the ink on the paper started to change, more specifically the blackness started to lift of the paper and into the man's hand. "But from now on you'll be known as Sen, kugisaki will meet at the door and give you directions again.

"Wait that it's! I-

You couldn't finish your sentence because as soon as he stopped speaking he flew you back into the shaft in which you came, shutting the elevator's doors the second you entered the contraption, not even giving you a single second to do a double take on what just happened.

Raspberry Pi Kiosk with Security and Backup

Needs on for the Computer and Raspberry Pi

Installing OS on Micro SD card

After downloading Raspbian Lite and Belena Etcher on your Windows machine, Select the Raspbian Lite img file. If it is still in the original zip file, please make sure you unzip or extract all the files so that Etcher can access the image file.

Select the Micro SD card, and Flash the Micro SD card.

Once the flash is complete, then you will plug in the Micro SD card to the Raspberry Pi and let it boot. You should see the following screen.

You should see the default Raspberry Login: 

Username: pi

Password: raspberry

Configuring the Raspberry Pi

Change the default username and password for the raspberry pi:

Type: Sudo raspi-config

Select option 2 and follow the instructions to change the password to something else for security.

Select the language/region option specifically for the keyboard. You will have to change to keyboard to be an English - US keyboard NOT English – GB (Great Britain) keyboard. If you do not set this up correctly, you will not be able to type commands properly.

We will also need updates

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get upgrade (This may take a while)

sudo apt-get install unattended-upgrade

Reboot the device by typing:

sudo reboot

Login to pi

Now we will plug our raspberry pi into the network and configure our localized options with:

sudo raspi-config

Go to the main screen and go to option 3 and select option 1 and select B2.

Now we will install the kiosk software:

sudo apt-get install –no-install-recommends xserver-xorg x11-xserver-utils xinit openbox

This will take 5 minutes. After it installs, then we will be using chromium browser in incognito mode to configure the webpage.

Set this for Kiosk mode:

Sudo apt-get install –no-install-recommends chromium-browser

Type y

This will take 10 minutes to install.

Now we will setup autostart.

sudo nano /etc/xdg/openbox/autostart

You will see the following:

Note: If you do not see the screen above, you may have to troubleshoot. Troubleshooting steps: run the following:

sudo apt-get clean

sudo apt-get autoremove

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove --purge 'libx11-.*'

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge

Now, go back and re-install the kiosk software and the chromium browser.

Once, get the screen above, leave everything as is. Move to the bottom of the screen where there is no text. Type:

xset s off

xset s noblank

xset –dpms

chromium-browser --disable-infobars --kiosk --incognito ‘http://www.DavidAlanGarza.com’

Once you have that set, type Cntl-X type y Click Enter

Now to disable the mouse cursor:

Type: startx -- -nocursor -incognito

This will display the webpage or should. If it did not, you will need to see what needs correcting on the code above.

Now we will go back into

Nano .bash_profile

Now type the following very very carefully:

[[ -z $DSIPLAY && $XDG_VTNR –eq 1 ]] && startx -- -nocursor

Type CNTL-X to save and type y

Improve Security:

We will deny sshd by typing

sudo nano /etc/ssh/sshd_config

allowUsers pi

Now we will install a firewall by typing the following:

sudo apt install ufw

sudo ufw enable

Now we will install an fail2ban which scans log files (e.g. /var/log/apache/error_log) and bans IPs that show the malicious signs -- too many password failures, seeking for exploits, etc. Generally Fail2Ban is then used to update firewall rules to reject the IP addresses for a specified amount of time, although any arbitrary other action (e.g. sending an email) could also be configured. Out of the box Fail2Ban comes with filters for various services (apache, courier, ssh, etc). Fail2Ban is able to reduce the rate of incorrect authentications attempts however it cannot eliminate the risk that weak authentication presents. Configure services to use only two factor or public/private authentication mechanisms if you really want to protect services.

Type: sudo apt install fail2ban

Installing Automatic Updates:

By default your Pi won’t be rebooted if required, so if you want it to (and want to set the time) you can do that like this:

First install Unattended-upgrade

sudo apt-get install unattended-upgrade 

sudo sed -i 's/^\/\/Unattended-Upgrade::Automatic-Reboot "false";/Unattended-Upgrade::Automatic-Reboot "true";/g' /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/50unattended-upgrades

 sudo sed -i 's/^\/\/Unattended-Upgrade::Automatic-Reboot-Time "02:00";/Unattended-Upgrade::Automatic-Reboot-Time "02:00";/g' /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/50unattended-upgrades

 And if you want unused packages to be removed (like when you run apt-get autoremove):

 sudo sed -i 's/^\/\/Unattended-Upgrade::Remove-Unused-Dependencies "false";/Unattended-Upgrade::Remove-Unused-Dependencies "true";/g' /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/50unattended-upgrades

 Next we must create the /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/20auto-upgrades file to instruct the updater what to do:

 sudo tee /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/20auto-upgrades > /dev/null <<EOF

APT::Periodic::Update-Package-Lists "1";

APT::Periodic::Unattended-Upgrade "1";

 And that’s all there is to it! Every day your Pi will now check for updates

Cloning Micro SD

Download Win32 Disk Imager onto your computer. https://sourceforge.net/projects/win32diskimager/

If you have a micro sd card you want to image, plug it into the computer.

You will see the following window:

In the image file type in where you want to save an img file. You can create an empty text file and rename it to be a .img file and write over it if you want to create an image.

Select Write to write over the image file. Select Read to erase and image the Micro SD card with whatever is on the .img file.

Last Note:

If you are noticing that something is not working right while you are building this kiosk. You may want to completely restart from scratch and re-install the OS. On of the main things about this Raspbian and these Raspberry Pi’s is that if one thing gets slightly corrupt, then the whole system can be corrupted. So with this project, be patient, and take your time. The majority of the code is Case Sensitive. It can be tedious, but I know you can do it! I hope you have fun setting up the kiosk.

Hidden Wifi:

I found out these would not connect to the hidden Wireless. It would even attempt to access. 

You must open text editor to:

sudo nano /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf

and change the following:

ctrl_interface=DIR=/var/run/wpa_supplicant GROUP=netdev update_config=1 country=US

network={        ssid="Your Hidden SSID"        scan_ssid=1         key_mgmt=WPA-PSK         psk="Your SSID's Password"
