Text
The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.
2 Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.
3 The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.
4 The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.
5 Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever.

Buy it for your Kindle Psalm 94 ExpositionExplanatory Notes and Quaint SayingsHints to the Village PreacherOther Works   SUBJECT. The writer sees evil doers in power, and smarts under their oppressions. His sense of the divine sovereignty, of which he had been singing in the previous Psalm, leads him to appeal to God as the great Judge of the earth; this he does with much vehemence and…

PSALMS S.O.A.P. ~ PSALM 93
Monday, 11/27/23
SCRIPTURE:
Lord, Your testimonies are completely reliable;  holiness adorns Your house  for all the days to come. ~ Psalm 93:5
OBSERVATION:
COMPLETELY reliable...
...in the past... and for all the days to come...
I know better than to try saying the same thing for me...
...unless I mean reliably unreliable... 🙄
And yet He has forgiven - and still forgives - me my near constant unreliability...
APPLICATION:
Rely on Him...
PRAYER:
Reliable Father God - I should know better than to rely on myself when You have always been my source of peace. Forgive my striving to overcome my selfishness and sin, and may Your Spirit remind me to lean into Your grace to surrender my will for Yours in the way Jesus said for my sake, not His will, but Yours... In His Name, and for Your honor above all else...
Relying on Him - for you and yours...

1. “The Lord is king. He is clothed with majesty and strength. The earth is set firmly in place and cannot be moved. Your throne, O Lord, has been firm from the beginning, and you existed before time began. The ocean depths raise their voice, O Lord; they raise their voice and roar. The Lord rules supreme in heaven, greater than the roar of the ocean, more powerful than the waves of the sea. Your laws are eternal, Lord, and your Temple is holy indeed, forever and ever.” —Psalm 93:1‭-‬5 (GNT)
2. “Long ago the Lord said to Israel: “I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.” —Jeremiah 31:3 (NLT)
3. “I have loved you just as the Father has loved Me; remain in My love [and do not doubt My love for you].” —John 15:9 (AMP)
4. “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” —John 3:16 (NLT)
Friend, God loves you!
You are an “Everyone” in John 3:16. If you had been the only human being on Earth, God would still have sent His only Son to save you and offer you eternal life.
Every day God will draw you to Him with unfailing love (Jer 31:3).
Jesus loves you just as the Father loves Him (and that is a huge amount of love). Jesus said so in The Word of God (Jn 15:9). And Jesus IS the Word (Jn 1:1), so when He speaks, He speaks God's truth:
“In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.” —John 1:1 (NLT)
Friend, God loves you. Mightier than the waves of the sea is God's love for you!
Blessings to you. May you feel God's love for you, a love that is mightier than the waves of the sea. May you remain in Jesus' love, today and always. In Jesus' name, Amen! 🙏🕊️🙌

1 The LORD reigns; he is robed in majesty; the LORD is robed; he has put on strength as his belt. Yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved.
2 Your throne is established from of old; you are from everlasting.
3 The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their roaring.
4 Mightier than the thunders of many waters, mightier than the waves of the sea, the LORD on high is mighty!
5 Your decrees are very trustworthy; holiness befits your house, O LORD, forevermore.

The Treasury of David
Buy it for your Kindle Psalm 93 ExpositionExplanatory Notes and Quaint SayingsHints to the Village Preacher This brief Psalm is without title or name of the author, but its subject is obvious enough, being stated in the very first line. It is the Psalm of Omnipotent Sovereignty: Jehovah, despite all opposition, reigns supreme. Possibly at the time this sacred ode was written, the nation was in…

How Great Thou Art
Psalm 119:93-96The Message What you say goes, God,    and stays, as permanent as the heavens.Your truth never goes out of fashion;    it’s as relevant as the earth when the sun comes up.Your Word and truth are dependable as ever;    that’s what you ordered—you set the earth going. If your revelation hadn’t delighted me so,    I would have given up when the hard times came. But I’ll never forget…
