the reunite | james&frank

After Hogwarts was left to the dust, Frank got a bit detached from the world. He didn’t want to - everyone scattered, everyone went their way - way sooner than all of them should’ve. But here he was, doing the same, rather unsure. Frank always managed though, something drove him to continue, despite his doubts and troubled mind. He wouldn’t give up, he had people to protect.

Anyways, today he had no chances of even reaching the Ministry - he decided to instead check around Diagon Alley - a place he never visited ever since before his supposed-to-be last year. The Ministry didn’t even have the Auror department opened at that time, he believed.

He entered the Wizarding part of London, but another thought came into his mind. Frank was not a bad person, he tried to be good to anyone. But he wasn’t quite thoughtful of James, was he? They were friends, they had a close bond, but Frank had sent him away after all the pressure around Hogwarts, and the murders and the explosion of the school, and they never talked since. Potter was probably mad, but Longbottom felt the need to go and apologize, right now. He felt bad, truly, and was afraid to go and say a simple apologize. He was afraid, that he’d delayed it too much. But Frank had to learn not to postpone what he needs or wants to do, or he could get into a much more deep shit than the world was in now.

In no more than ten minutes he was in front of the door of James’ flat, ready to be punched in the face. He made the bell ring.
