Getting my printer at the same time as I (finally) got into Hazbin means one thing.

Printed and painted myself one Angel Dust, and raided my paint stash to finish and everything. The hot pink is left over from a Barbie project and it's so much more vivid than the rest of his paint and then I realized.

HE GLOWS UNDER A BLACKLIGHT.

All glowing and ready for a rave and tbh it's what Angel would want.

i made a jacket for my friends birthday!! first time trying to make crochet "cables" and i also modeled and 3d printed the buttons for it! it came out super well and i give it to them tonight when i see them :)

this paragraph is just more details about making it lol

my friend is a HUGE taylor swift fan, they love her and all her music. this jacket was originally supposed to be like taylors cardigan, but looking at it now it looks nothing like it. in spirit, the idea is there i promise!! the colors are from willow (im pretty sure im remembering it correctly) which has green and a gold string going through the music video, also my friend likes green and gold more to wear. i meant to put more stars on the elbows but i was exhausted and my hands HURT so i just did one on each. the buttons were 3d printed, and i made the model myself!! it was super easy, i used solidworks to model it and printed on a prusa mk3 with 1.75 PLA filament. im really glad i used the prusa instead of my old lulzbot taz5 which runs 3.0 because the edges are super clean and precise. not that the lulzbot wont do that, but this small scale was better for the prusa. the pockets are super cute, i sewed a little bit of lip around the edges of the opening so the fabric wont bellow out as badly as other pockets ive made, but we must wait and see how true that is. my friend is super tiny, she is 4'11 and hopefully i didnt make it too small. if i remember to, i will update this post with her reaction.

3D Printing Process Notes

1. Download the Stj format file needed for the model and import it to computer.

2. Open the software: Prusaslicer and drag the print stj file into the software.

3. To ensure model completeness, select EVERYWHERE for SUPPORTS in the RIGHT PRINTING SETTING.

4. Click Slide in the bottom right corner to export to gcode form and then name the file. And drag the file into the folder on the memory card: PRUSAI3MK3S

5. Pull out the memory card, insert it into the 3d printer and select your file to print.

I thought I posted this the other day but I guess I messed up. I made another run of 24 shields for my friend’s wife. She cuts hair and she wanted some face shields for her and her colleagues to wear while working with the public.

This time I was asked to used black filament. I used PLA until I ran out and finished with PETG for the printed parts. I ordered 2, 0.010”x24”x48” polycarbonate sheets for the shields, that I hand cut.

It's almost right. This will soon be available after i make a couple tweaks. There is no neck connector for that FL breakaway. The ring holds him perfectly in place.

Well this is a sad way to wake up. I found my @tolgaaxu model like this on the build plate. Sadly it was my last bit of @treedfilaments clay so I can't make a new one in this material.
