A while back someone on r/fanfiction gave the prompt "love, hugs, inside jokes, and incredible violence" and I thought that worked really well for c!Borealtrio, so I wrote this little thing (now edited up just a little bit for posting here :)

Ranboo POV, Peer Pressure Duo, Emerald Duo, Relationship Analysis (?)

Over the month or so that Ranboo had known Technoblade and Philza, they had begun to notice a few things about the two's friendship. Of course, the first thing they'd noticed was how incredibly devoted and loyal the two were were to each other; that had been obvious even back when Ranboo had was being dragged along by Quackity and the rest of the L'Manburg cabinet to hunt Techno down and try execute him in front of Phil. The two blatantly cared about each other a lot.

The next thing Ranboo had realized more recently, something that had surprised them at first but seemed as natural as anything else now, was how physically affectionate the two were. It wasn't uncommon in the least to find the pair curled up on the couch together, especially when Techno was preening Phil's wings for him, or when Phil was braiding Techno's hair. Ranboo was pretty sure they had even walked in on Phil napping beside Techno during his hibernation once, though they weren't fully convinced they hadn't imagined it given how unreliable their memory was and how they had refused to write it down.

Another thing Ranboo noticed was that the two had developed way too many in-jokes for him to keep up with. Of course he understood the "Technoblade never dies!" catchphrase, but anything deeper than that went over their head. Like, sure, a baby zombie is a pain to deal with, but they were still confused by how over exaggerated Techno's reaction was every time one got within ten feet of Phil, and at this point they were scared to ask for an explanation.

And finally, perhaps one of the more immediately relevant things Ranboo had noticed, was how especially Technoblade used wrath and violence as possibly one of the greatest signs of care. That's what Doomsday was when it came down to it; the two taking revenge on L'Manburg for what it had done to themselves and each other. That was why no one ever dared trying to hurt either of them any more, they were terrified of seeing their home destroyed once more — or worse.

... So what did it mean then, when Bad commented that Techno didn't like people, and Techno had butted in to say that he liked Ranboo? When, after Ranboo was injured during Bad's ambush, Techno had all but carried them home? He'd teased Ranboo about how for once, he got to be the main character instead of them... And now, just a couple months later, Techno had gone out and come back to report how he'd teamed up with Quackity, Quackity, to take down Bad's so-called Eggpire. What was that all supposed to mean?

I posted about a bunch of my dsmp headcanons a while ago so let me make sure I don't repeat anything

Tubbo is extremely buff and could probably do pushups with both Ranboo and Michael on his back, and Ranboo, despite being a twig, is still pretty strong

Tommy always looked up to Techno as a kid based on Wilbur's stories, which led to the red and white wardrobe

Tubbo bleats like a goat is he's frustrated, which Tommy finds hilarious and Ranboo finds endearing, so Tommy likes to rile him up to hear it

Phil has a lot of bird traits, such as really good eyesight(no he can't see glass), a heightened sense of smell, and a poor sense of taste. Plus his wings are SUPER sensitive and he only trusts family to preen them(Techno, Ranboo, Niki, and eventually Wilbur again)

Whenever Ranboo gets mad or scared, he appears more enderman-like, sometimes growing slightly in height, his jaw opening further, and his eyes turning slightly purple. This scares the crap out of Techno, Tubbo, and Tommy the first time it happens.

Piglins are all shapeshifters, but only between piglin and human form due to the risk of accidentally going to the overworld, having the human form helps them adapt to temperatures better. Ranboo and Tubbo were not aware of this and were very surprised when a very human-looking Michael came running into their arms and they immediately ran to Techno being like"is this normal", at which point Techno turned human and scared the shit out of them(he usually stays in pig in case he needs to fight)

Michael has an interesting voice that mixes between an American and British accent, some words he says are fully British, others American. Some also sound exactly like either Techno or Tommy depending on who taught him the word. Tommy is bound and determined to teach him swears but Ranboo and Tubbo have forbidden it for now.

Tubbo's natural hair color is brown but he dyed it to look like Tommy when they were kids, the dye faded during the Mnaburg/presidency era due to stress, but he started dyeing it again once he started living in Snowchester.

Random question from a fellow c!prpduo fan: do you have any favorite peerpressureduo interactions/scenes/vods/etc?

Ohhh man I'll probably come back to this because I've been meaning to rewatch NLM but to me egg remains a major sweep as a VOD. The way they play off each other + the compatibility in and similarities of their social meta are really wonderful to see in action... also some fantastic showings of both Ranboo's nosy Involvement into the affairs of those he likes and of Techno's style of showing up for people... I love them so much both they are so guys of the decade

I am also a huge fan of the scene (also should rewatch this...) in I think developing the syndicate where Techno expresses he's not sure he can trust Ranboo explicitly Because unhinged recognizes unhinged... I think the phrasing is something like "he's as crazy as I am Phil" I NEED to rewatch it it's auauaugh

Also ofc the classic scene where Ranboo reads the Syndicate manifesto "I like that part" CONTINUES killing me, On The Daily,

Scheduled this for midnight so I can make sure y'all are still voting c!Ranboo in different time zones. (if you send me proof you voted for them, I'll do a doodle request for you in the morning, barring any significant life disturbances or whatnot)

Because do c!Rivals have an interesting dynamic? Yeah sure, but it's not c!Peerpressuduo. It's not intrinsically tangled with c!Techno's character arc and narrative.

It's not c!Techno slowly learning to trust again and going from "Just because you gave me this axe, doesn't mean we're friends" then to "But you don't like people, right?" "I mean I like Ranboo, he's alright" and finally to "I'm not leaving without Ranboo" and "You've got the wrong hostage! He doesn't care, I care NO!!"

Because when c!Ranboo died, c!Techno screamed out how much he cared about them in a desperate attempt to save them, then without missing a beat, set out to rescue their son. What did he do for c!Dream in that same stream? Told him that he wasn't going to help or protect him (the two things c!Techno specializes in to demonstrate love) and that he should go. Basically, he ended their relationship.

c!Techno goes from refusing to trust c!Ranboo because he's always betrayed when he does that, refusing to even admit he cares about them or likes them, to openly protecting them the same way he does with c!Phil, admitting he likes, exchanging secrets about hearing voices with them, and letting them into the Syndicate.

They just mean everything to me, and they deserve to win this match up. You can't change my mind on that, even with a whole essay on c!rivalsduo (though on that note, here's a whole essay on c!prpduo)

Short little thing I wrote ages ago for the prompt "paper crown"

Ranboo POV, mentioned Technoblade, set shortly after Doomsday

Paper. Ranboo needed paper and Technoblade had paper.

As such, Ranboo found themself hovering on the doorstep, trying to build the courage to knock on their new neighbor's door.

It wasn't that they thought Technoblade would say no, after all it was only a single sheet of paper, and last they checked, Technoblade was one of the richest people around. No, Ranboo's anxieties were much sillier than that.

Because the problem was that Ranboo wanted to make themself a crown.

They had always worn a paper crown for as long as they could remember (which honestly didn't mean a lot given how patchy their memory was, but the sentiment stands), and the only reason they hadn't been for the last couple days was because it had been one of the many things destroyed during Doomsday.

And maybe that sounds like a weird thing to be self conscious about, after all Technoblade himself wore a crown (a real one, though, made out of gold)... but that was exactly the problem.

Ranboo wore a crown because they had grown up listening to the inspiring tales of the Blood God, Technoblade himself.

And that wasn't something Ranboo wanted to tell Technoblade just yet.

It never fails to amuse me (/genuine /lighthearted), the misconception that Techno would be baffled by Ranboo's being in the tundra after Phil invites him to live there

Fic idea I've had for a while but never actually written:

It's getting into hibernation season, and c!Phil is heading off on some adventure whatnot, which means it will be just c!Techno and c!Ranboo alone... and c!Techno will have to explain hibernating to c!Ranboo.

He really doesn't want to because that's vulnerable and awkward and c!Techno is c!Techno, so he starts procrastinating and then! The perfect excuse! Something seems to be wrong with c!Ranboo — better stay awake to figure out what's up and make sure they're okay :)

(spoiler alert, c!Ranboo's just eepy an' hungy because it turns out he needs to hibernate too)
