Re-reading Star (2020), and damn, Proxima is seriously all 😍 for Corvus lmao. And in the end gives up pursuing the Reality stone to get her husband back, Thanos be damned!

I’m like ONE good Black Order focus comic away to get back on my Proxima and Corvus OTP train again. At least they’re back in Marvel Snap, and as Ben Brode says “Relationship goals y’all!”

Like seriously I love the mechanic in the game is how Corvus can deploy his wife to where she’s both most needed on the field and also where she wants to be, in the middle of fighting. Which is exactly how their relationship was introduced way back in Infinity (2013) where Corvus indulged her bloodlust and sent her to where the fighting was heaviest.

I rewatched infinity war and remembered I sketched proxima back in 2018 so I dug it up again to do a redraw

This took me A VERY LONG TIME to make.

I am a huge fan of the Guardians of the Galaxy, which led me to the Nova comics. They are fantastic. Highly recommend. Currently reading Nova #2017

her design is so goddamn good in the comics. it hearkens to kirby-esque design choices while having a sort of modern spin. the mcu design completely ignores the elegance in favor of a more organic and alien look which is. fine, i guess? idk i still prefer her original look.

Black Order/Children of Thanos

The Black Order have been adapted from the comics into several other forms of media, such as animated television series and video games. The group (renamed the "Children of Thanos") made their live-action debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Avengers: Infinity War (2018). Alternate versions of the Children of Thanos later appeared in the film Avengers: Endgame (2019) and the animated Disney+ series What If...? (2021).
