A/N: Jesus Christ that was fast.

Jeanne Villeneuve was awaiting execution, that was the truth of the matter. Come the dawn, she and her crew were going to be publicly hanged by Lord Proudsong’s soldiers, it was not exactly the most pleasant truth to take, but it was what she expected when she became a pirate.

The blonde pirate’s thoughts drifted towards her shackles, they were cold iron and dug a little bit too into her wrists. Then suddenly there was the sound of footsteps along the floor.

These weren't the footprints of the bored guards who had left their posts an hour ago, these footprints were with purpose, they were heavy and quick, like the person walking was entirely sure what they were looking for.

The figure that came up to her cell door was the figure of that Navy officer, Madam Vyctoarya Ravenswood. She was wearing civilian clothes, a slightly rough looking white tunic with brown breeches and boots, along with a black overcoat that seemed to be a little too big for her. Her red hair was done up into a low ponytail and her sea blue eyes locked with Jeanne's.

Wordlessly, the Navy officer reached to a set of keys that she had on her and opened the door to the cell.

Jeanne wasn't entirely sure what to think about this, it wasn't exactly something that she expected to happen, and she wasn't entirely sure if this was just a hallucination.

"Vyctoarya?" She said, not entirely sure if she was talking to herself.

"I'm here to get you out of here." The officer responded, her voice was quiet "The guards are currently off getting drunk at the tavern, we have a couple of hours to get the rest of your men out of here." she unlocked the manacles from Jeanne.

“Vyctoarya, I could kiss you.” Jeanne said to the officer who blushed at the statement. “Where’s the rest of the crew?”

“Most of them have already been hanged, I’ve freed those who haven’t.” The officer said. “Just go along the hallway and take the first left, that should let you out of the cells.”

The blonde pirate looked at the officer who looked like she was dutiful and never stopping in her duties “Vyctoarya, I will never forget this.”

“I’ll have to, I don’t want to make it look like I ever saw you escape.” She took off the overcoat, “also, have this.” She added. Looking like she didn’t really want to say it.

Jeanne put on the overcoat, noticing that it was a size too big for her. “Thank you very much.” She said as she ran, there was a long list of things she wanted to tell Vyctoarya, but right now, she was just happy and content to not be hanged.

So with my WIP Princess and the Outlander, I’m doing some worldbuilding via a quest, which is set a few years after the Princess and the Outlander’s beginning. So at this part of the timeline, the central kingdom of Emain basically looks roughly like this: (Spoilers for my entire plan for the novel)

Anna Winter has been crowned as the Queen of Emain.

Robyn Lancaster is known as the “Uncrowned Consort of Emain”.

The reforms of the old King Helias have been put through, making the Kingdom more of an oligarchy rather than a monarchy.

Anna and Robyn are continuing the more egalitarian reforms of her predecessor

Helias has had time to pick up his old passions of music and might've even found new love.

Though that doesn't mean that all is well and good:

The Empire is not all that cool on such a change to the status quo.

Some of the nobility is planning a revolt to replace the Queen with someone else.

The House of Proudsong is still engaging in activities that shouldn't be mentioned, with them investing heavily into the Most Honourable Trading Company of Angshire, which is basically an East India Company expy.

Yeah, there are probably other things going on, but those are the main details.

What are your WIPs? who are your characters?

Oh Anon, you just messed up. Brace yourself cause this is going to take a while. Though for the characters, I'm only going to go for the ones worth mentioning, because otherwise, we're going to be here all day.Blood and GoldThis is a Quest that is set in the same world as The Princess and The Outlander were the best possible ending was achieved. The Point of View is from one Justin Selway, exiled noble of Angshire who has an uncle that wants him dead. Justin is the captain of a ship called the Vorkosigan and a merc band called the Roaring Tides.As this is a quest, I only have half control on the actions of the character so the players can fuck around with my creation. I technically consider this a WIP because it is a story I am creatingThe OCs for this are:- Justin Selway, (Player Character)- Robin Selway (PC's Cousin)- Amelia Selway (PC's Cousin's badass wife)- Silas Selway (PC's prick uncle)- Madam Vyctoarya Ravenswood (The PC's second in command)- Jeanne Villeneuve (Vyctoarya's ex-lover, though both of them are still in love)- Ren (Changeling Theif who is a member of the crew)- Kung (a tiefling guy who is the ship doctor)- Elizabeth Sato (A Magicless Adventurer and slightly crazy.)- That's all that have been written that are worth mentioning. Not the term 'have' there's room for more.The Princess and The OutlanderThis is two main things, one is a high fantasy LGBTQA+ romance, and the other is me poking fun at some high fantasy cliches (Like the helpless princess, the obviously evil people and other things that A Practical Guide to Evil did better at)This takes place in the city of Serenity's Grace, in the Kingdom of Emain, if you played the first season of Love & Legends, you know how this plot goes. I will admit, this WIP is cliche to the bone, but it is mainly self-indulgent, even if it is actually going to get published.The OCs for this one are:- Robyn Lancaster (Main Character, though very little scenes from her persepctive, also a Magicless)- Anna Winter (Robyn's love interest, Princess and the one who we get a lot of scenes from her POV)- Helias Winter (Anna's father, the King of Emain, is getting too old for this shit)- Alexander Bronzewing (Robyn's main antagonist, a bit of a self-righteous dick and has a stick up his ass.)- Darian Bronzewing (Alexander's older brother and true bro. Once tried to seduce the Princess but failed)- Edward Bronzewing/Renford Stone (The uncle to Darian and Alexander, Edward is the family disappointment, but is a master of secrets)- Fredrick Proudsong (The King's pet spook, generally a dick but has the best interests of the Kingdom at heart, he creepy though.)- Matthew Henderson (A blacksmith who forges Robyn's and Anna's weapons, he's very crazy and is a Magicless)- Countess Elizabeth Bronzewing (The sister to Edward, she is wholly devoted to her job and the Kingdom in equal measure, she's the King's Court Mage)I Will Always Love You...This is a modern-day romance YA thing. It's the only one that I have a clear outline for (written down on the back of a printed out copy of the second chapter) Basically, high schoolers falling in love, though, and say it with me now "it's gay."The main characters are:- London Ashely Skye (The Narrator and the main character, has a troubled home life, a 21st-century teenager without a secured laptop)- Victoria Sabrina Ashbridge (London's love interest, an absolute weeb, a useless lesbian and also someone who loves to crack jokes)- Violet Francesca Ashbridge (Vicky's twin sister, an Ace Aro girl who writes, reads and is generally a deadpan snarker)- Maxwell Skye (London's caretaker and uncle, he's a preacher for a living, and he's a massive dick, the source of London's troubled home life)- Elyzabeth Steele, Ashley Cook and Michelle Smith (Technically they are three separate people, but they all appear on stage together and are basically London's mom friends,)- Jessica Skye (London's cousin, a Goddess of Cooking, blonde and generally mild-mannered, doesn't like her father's lack of care for privacy)- Edmund Ashbridge (Vicky's cousin, he's a buff dude, looks like movie-Gale from the Hunger Games, he's a big softie)- Matthew Khristoph Brown (Edmund's boyfriend, mild-mannered, always composed, the group dad, can bake)- That's all, I don't have all the characters planned out yet.
