When I was coming out of Lohia park after finishing my morning exercise one day last year, I noticed this elderly person almost getting unconscious, completely out of breath and nearly fell on road. He definitely needed immediate help. As a human and also a doctor, it was my duty to help him so I, along with my friends, rushed to support him after rapidly securing my mask. Since it was a covid time, I suspected covid, asthma or some cardiac incident. After giving him required first-aid I proceeded to shift him to some nearby hospital, but by God’s grace he gained little consciousness. With his guidance I called his relatives & finally handed over to them in improved condition, with few advices & suggestions for his future safety. Thankfully he appeared stable when I left him. To my surprise, he came searching for me with this beautiful frame as a token of thanks. He wrote it just for me! It was unexpected and overwhelming. I was glad to know that he is fit and fine now. He asked people at the park about me and came to meet me. Thank you Ramroop Trivedi ji for reminding me that simple things in life are worthwhile 😇 Many people die in such emergency situations due to our ignorance. People make videos of other people's suffering these days but nobody comes forward to help. But we have to remember that this can happen with anyone, with our family or us specially during this difficult time of pandemic. Please help the helpless, those who die on roads in the lack of help, can be saved. I couldn't think of a better day than today to post this. Happy Doctor's day. -Dr. R. K. Growth. So I kept on trying to sort myself out. I kept wading through the bog of shit, finding lotus’s every time I stopped anxiety in its tracks before an attack. I started finding the beauty in figuring out what traumas root was causing the symptom of an attack. Sometimes it’s a frightened little girl, hiding behind fear, who just needs a hug. I sat with some root causes, I became more compassionate and my heart started to beat just a little more attuned with peace. It’s been decades, and no one would really call what I did epic, except that it was. Most of us, I pray, are coming together in a common cause to end the violence and police brutality that a few bad police are spreading like a plague. It is destroying us all. Watching another human die is just... God awful. You just pray this is part of something good soon to come. Pray for their families. So many people are trying to justify the police using deadly force. I assume it's because of racial or even job related guilt. I'm sorry you feel guilty. So many are angry, sad, & scared, because they are black. Their life may be reflected in the videos as a man dies. You can't tell them black lives don't matter. I so want to go off on the racial disparity. African Americans represent only 13% of the population yet make up 31% of the population. They are 7 times more likely to die and the only reason is the color of their skin. A man was shot this week and died while both arms were pinned to the ground. How was he an imminent threat? How? Another man died, killed over a BROKEN TAILLIGHT, while his 4yr old child sat in the backseat, and his girlfriend sat in the passenger seat. Fully compliant. He was an exemplary citizen, but that shouldn't matter. There must be an imminent threat to use deadly force. You have other means of stopping a "perp". Tasers, your big beating sticks, flashlight, handcuffs. I'm white. Idgaf! I'm tired of seeing this happen. I am the first to say "he's dead because of his race", and I'm not and have never been okay with this. I never will be. I won't promote violence, but I will join you in protest, hand in hand, to fight for the change we desperately need. We are all human. No one should have died this week. Not one life. I feel like a storm is coming as God's tears need to fall down on us.
