~ Great importance in Perun's cult was also attributed to the sacred tree, which in this case was the oak, which was also prominent among other Indo-European nations as a symbol of the god of thunder and lightning (e.g. Germanic Thor, Greek Zeus, Roman Jupiter, Lithuanian Perkunas, etc. ). Slavs showed immense respect to this tree, offering numerous gifts. One of the most significant oaks grew on the Dnieper island of Khortytsia (Island of St. George), where the Rus merchants would stop on their travels to pray for the success of their trading activities... Oaks could also define boundaries of estate, as happened as early as 1302 in the case of the territorial gift of Galicia Prince Lev Danilović to the Przemyśl Bishopric (?). Oak wood fed the eternal fire that blazed near Perun's statue in Novgorod. ... Oak - the most sacred tree of the Slavs. One of the main places in the cult of trees was probably occupied by linden, its wood was considered an effective weapon against vampires. ... It is also possible that iris played a specific role in Perun's cult, which among the southern Slavs was called perunika or bogiša - i.e. a divine plant.

Gobekli Tepe and the Natufian culture predate those blue-eyed people. You'd know that if you read the article. The Neolithic was well under way by 6,500 BC.
There is no ancient white god tradition. Quetzalcoatl and Kukulkan were envisioned as feathered serpents, and their occasional depictions in human form are too stylized to make any extrapolations of ethnicity. Quetzalcoatl was occasionally described as "white" as opposed to his "black" enemy Tezcatlipoca, but those are not racial terms unless we theorize about a rival faction of black gods. They're symbolic terms referring to light and darkness.
Egyptian gods were depicted with gold skin, and no facial hair to speak of. Their occasional blue eyes shouldn't be taken any more literally than the blue hair seen in many other statues.
Seriously, one of the statues you posted even has blue eyebrows.
Egyptian mummies also had hair like this:
They were never one "race." There were Nubian, Semitic, Persian, and Macedonian dynasties. You are severely underestimating how ancient Egypt is.
"Caucasian" is a meaningless term unless we're talking about people from the Caucasus region. The only notable Caucasian person in Egyptian history I am aware of is Raffi, a popular Canadian children's entertainer born to Armenian refugees in Cairo. He lives on Salt Spring Island now, and he's apparently a great guy. Charming, too. I think he stole one of my dad's friend's girlfriends.
Most of the people I posted were not Nubians, but even if they were, it wouldn't matter because Nubians very much were and still part of the Egyptian melting pot. Almost all Egyptian paintings depict a black-haired and brown-skinned majority.
Does this man look like a fucking slave? The big one, not the blond guy. That's a noblemen called Mahairpri. Look him up.
More images of dark-skinned Egyptians with attendants of differing complexions:
You got some nerve accusing me of "quoting myths and bullshit" when I provided multiple sources, and you responded with "white gods."
DNA from a place where people have lighter skin on average doesn't necessarily guarantee that you will also have lighter skin, especially when you're under selective pressure to develop darker skin, like if you live in a desert climate.
I'm not sure what that last screenshot was responding to, but I've actually been reading a lot about the Proti-Indo-Europeans lately! Fascinating stuff!
I'd like to take the opportunity to address your earlier comments about African civilizations as a whole that I left unaddressed in my previous reblog. "If we're equal, why isn't Africa greater than Ancient Rome?" you asked. "Where are all the Wakandas?"
I'm sure you'll be delighted to know that Africa has actually been home to many impressive civilizations besides Egypt:
Dahomey in particular was a direct inspiration for Wakanda. They even had a unit of elite warrior women guarding the king!
As a history enthusiast like myself, I'm sure you'll enjoy reading all these articles. I look forward to hearing your thoughts!
