Note
can i pls req for sekido and kaigaku w/reader who gets harassed by her coworkers, and shes doesnt even bother to stand up to them???
Oh my! Are you getting harassed by your coworkers? I’m so sorry! I hope this can cheer you up! This is a modern-ish AU?
Sekido
Tumblr media
“Angry” doesn’t express how Sekido feels over your situation at work. He is beyond angry and he needs a minute to process everything alone so he doesn’t end up destroying your apartment with any ounce of his lightning powers
Sekido will immediately stomp to your boss and demand they enforce a zero harassment policy as soon as possible or he will get the business shut down. Sekido isn’t above threatening your superior, to him, he does not care the extreme he must pull to protect you
Sekido comforts you once he brings you home. He may be very temperamental and irritable all the time but that doesn’t mean he can’t be gentle and affectionate when he must. For his precious, he is willingly to be softer and try his best to tone his anger over the harassment to hear you out
Kaigaku
Tumblr media
Kaigaku can barely keep his anger a secret as he is visibly fuming whilst you cry on his shoulder to proclaim your work problem. How dare disgusting beans waste your oxygen by insulting and pushing you around. If you won’t stand up for yourself, he will
Kaigaku is no longer letting this shit slide! He immediately draws out every detail of your harassment issues and tracks down the abusers causing you so much trouble. And well… he takes care of them. He doesn’t care if the Police try to arrest him, he’d kill over and over for you
Kaigaku cuddles and comforts you to sleep, once he returns from his ‘walk’ and tells you you won’t suffer from anymore problems with him around. You can tell Kaigaku did something shady but you kinda suspected he would pull such drastic measures to keep you happy and safe

Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3 - Part 4 - Part 5 - Part 6 - Part 7 - Part 8 - Part 9 - Part 10 - Part 11 - Part 12
It was a beautiful day and not a cloud was in the sky, yet you chose to spend it inside with your beloved Demons, behind closed curtains so the sunlight wouldn't hurt them. You were chopping meat while the 5 Demons were in the living room, playing games when suddenly the doorbell chimed.
"Who could that be?" You wondered out loud as you put the knife down and wiped your hands on your apron as you approached and opened the door.
"Yes-?" Your breath got caught in your throat when you saw a tall man standing behind your door. You knew this man. The glasses, the suit, the gloves on his hands.
"Nicolas?" You gasped and the man nodded, "Good day, young Lady."
You flinched as you heard him and you immediately tried to slam the door shut, but the man put his foot between and forced the door open. "I wouldn't do that if I were you."
"How did you find me?" You wondered out loud and suddenly you felt four murderous auras coming from behind you. All the commotion had alerted your Demons who came to see what was happening.
"What the Hell is going on!?" Sekido shouted and Nicolas looked at your Demons over your shoulder.
"I see you have chosen to spend your money on other Demons. At least these ones appear more appealing than the one Master bought for you." Nicolas said and you frowned, "What the Hell do you want?"
"I have come to bring you back home." The man said and you blinked, stunned, "What?!"
"Master wants to have a word with you."
"Didn't you know that he kicked me out?" You asked back, "What makes you think I want to speak with him?"
"I couldn't care any less what a spoiled child like you wants. What Master wants, Master gets."
Ah, as always, Nicolas was a cold and calculative bastard who only cared about your stepfather's wants and needs. The butler stepped aside and showed you a limousine with the door wide open, "Hop in."
"I'm not-!" You were about to object, but the man gave you one of his famous chilling glares, "I wasn't asking, young Lady."
"…" You glared at him before you finally nodded and stepped outside, "My Demons-!"
"Your Demons stay behind."
"…Fine-!" You were saying when Karaku suddenly reached for you from behind and your eyes widened as you saw his hands burn as sunlight touched them. The Demon hissed as he grabbed you and pulled you back inside.
"Mistress isn't going anywhere with you!" The Demon hissed, but the butler didn't even blink, "My orders were to take young Lady back to Master. I won't let some uncivilized Demons who don't know their place stop me from carrying out my orders."
"Just a second Nicolas!" You said as you closed the door and the first thing you did was to grab Karaku's blistered hands, "Karaku, your hands…!"
"I'll live." The Demon grunted but he and his fellow clones were agitated.
"Mistress, you can't go with that man!" Urogi shouted, and you frowned, "I don't want to but I have to!"
"What if he hurts you!?" Sekido snapped and Aizetsu cried out, "We don't know what they might do to you when we aren't there to protect you!"
"Guys, you don't understand! Nicolas is an asshole and knows how to hurt Demons even without exposing them directly to sunlight! I won't let him hurt any of you!"
"But what about you and your safety?" Karaku asked and you bit your lower lip, "It can't be helped…"
"M- Mistress…?"
You all turned to look and saw Hantengu looking at you desperately from the couches. The clones shared a look, nodded, and looked at you, "We have a plan."
It took a couple of minutes, but finally, you stepped out of the house and made sure to shut the door behind you. Nicolas nodded as he held the limousine door for you and as soon as you were inside, he followed you.
As the door shut, the car took off and you kept glaring at Nicolas during the whole ride… with Hantengu hidden between in your shirt, between your breasts.
You thought back about the conversation you had with the 5 Demons.
"So, this is the plan. You will take the original one with you and he will be our eyes and ears." Sekido said and Aizetsu nodded, "And if things appear like they might go south, the original one will pop out and protect you."
"No offense guys, but how can Hantengu help me if something bad happens?" You asked as you pulled your shirt's collar down and Urogi dropped extremely nervous Hantengu inside
"Trust us." The clones nodded, "He can and he will protect you."
You weren't sure how sweet little Hantengu could protect you, but you trusted him and his clones. Enough to even take the little shy Demon with you.
"What, no small talk?" Nicolas broke the silence and you frowned, "Why would I want to talk with you?"
"Now now, young Lady. I may work for Master, but I did look after you through your whole childhood."
"You mean how you would teach me manners? Yeah, hitting me with a ruler certainly made me a better person." You hissed at him and you could feel Hantengu silently whimper inside your shirt.
Nicolas didn't even flinch as he took off his glasses and wiped them with a napkin, "I see you could have used a little more disciplining."
"Touch me and it will be the last thing you ever do..!"
The rest of the car ride was quiet, but inside your head alarms were going off. You couldn't understand why your stepfather wanted to see you after kicking you out months ago. Whatever he wanted, it wasn't going to be anything nice.
Finally, the car stopped and Nicolas stepped out to hold the door open for you. You followed him outside and into the mansion. As soon as you stepped inside, you could see the many Demon slaves turning to look at you.
You frowned, hating the fear you could see in their eyes as Nicolas passed them by. You were certain that he disciplined them also, only worse since they were just slaves to him and not honorable members family. The butler took you to your stepfather's office, knocking first before opening the door, "Master, I have retrieved young Lady."
"Good." Your stepfather who you hadn't seen for months nodded. The man was sitting on his huge chair and smoking a cigar as he looked at you and you blinked, stunned by the look he was giving you. He looked almost excited to see you, but your stepsiblings sitting next to him weren't.
"Well done Nicolas. You may leave now." The man said and the butler nodded as he left, closing the door behind him, but you stayed glued on your spot.
Well, until your stepfather motioned you to approach him, "Starfish! What are you doing all the way there? Come here, come here, my good child!"
You scowled as you walked over but you refused to take a seat. You weren't there because you wanted to be and you wouldn't lie to yourself.
"What the Hell do you want?" You asked but your stepfather didn't flinch. No, he blew out some cigar smoke and grinned, "Straight to the point? Alright, I was hoping we could do this quickly."
"Do what?"
"I have out of the goodness of my heart decided to take you back to the family."
"Back? Here?" You weren't believing what you were hearing. Cecil and Amanda, your stepsiblings scowled, "Trust us, we aren't that enthusiastic about this either."
"Quiet!" Your stepfather snapped at his kids and then he just smiled at you like nothing was wrong.
"What your brother and sister are saying is that they are sorry for what they did to your belongings." He glanced at them, "Aren't you?"
Cecil and Amanda looked like they wanted to be anywhere else but there. Reluctantly, they both nodded and their father smiled at you, "I have everything prepared for your return back home. Your stuff, money, and even your soon-to-be husband!"
"Whoa, whoa! Husband!? Marriage!?" You raised your hands up, stopping everything, "With who!?"
"I thought you might ask! A highly potential business partner of mine is looking for a wife and I thought that who could be better than my own daughter!" The man was all smiles but you weren't exactly happy.
"What, why can't Amanda do it!? Pimp her with him!" You snapped and your stepsister scowled at you, "I don't want to marry some old fart!"
"So I have to!?" You couldn't believe this. Your stepfather dragged you back only to match you with some business partner of his? You were pretty fucking sure that he was after some deal or better yet, money.
"I already suggested Amanda, but my partner wasn't interested in her." Your stepfather said and you crossed your arms, feeling completely and utterly disgusted.
"Why? Did she keep her legs open long enough to attract flies?" You asked and your stepsister glared at you, "Fuck you!"
"That's exactly why no one wants you." You shot right back at her before looking at her father, "So, let me get this straight? First, you kick me out and now, after months, you want me to come back and marry someone I don't even know!?"
"Starfish, I'm just looking out for your well-being! You're my child and I care-!"
"I'm not even your child, I never was or am now! I'm not even part of this family! Don't you remember!? You bought me out!"
The man's smile dropped and he sighed as he took what was left of his cigar and stumped it on an ashtray and suddenly it felt like the whole room's temperature had dropped. It felt dangerous.
"I had a feeling that this might happen." He nodded and looked at you so coldly, it turned you breathless.
"If you don't do as I say, I will have my men led by Nicolas, to go to your house and beat up that ugly piece of shit you call your slave and then drag it out and let the sun burn it until only ashes remain. Of course, that thing will be begging for death by the time Nicolas is done with it."
You were shocked by what you heard. This fucker was trying to blackmail you by threatening your sweet little Hantengu?! The Demon who never hurt anyone, he shouldn't be hurt because of you or your fucked up stepfamily!
"You cowardly bastard…!" You growled as you squeezed your hands into fists, wishing you could take a swing at the bastard, but you knew he wasn't afraid to give you a black eye in exchange.
You could feel how Hantengu was shivering hard in your shirt… Only unknownst to you, he wasn't shivering because of fear, but fury. How could this man who was supposed to be your father be so cruel to you, his sweet kind Mistress? The Demon couldn't control himself anymore.
"Now, be a good girl and-!" Your stepfather was saying but a growl cut through the air, "You ungrateful…!"
"What was that-?"
"You ungrateful humans!" Came a roar and you yelped as Hantengu jumped out of your shirt. You almost couldn't believe your eyes when the small Demon grew into a huge one, twice bigger than his original form, and instead of looking fearful, he appeared so furious it nearly startled you.
"H Hantengu!?" You gasped but the Demon either ignored you or was too furious to hear you. Cecil and Amanda screamed as the Demon grabbed the huge desk and easily threw it across the room. While your stepsiblings screamed and ran away from the room, your stepfather was frozen in his seat as he stared at Hantengu with his eyes wide in shock.
"You hideous humans! So cruel, so cruel to my Mistress! Mistress who is kind and caring, my sweet Mistress who is so good to me!" The Demon shouted angrily as he moved to grab your stepfather, but you couldn't let him hurt the man, even if he was an asshole.
Demons who hurt humans were ordered to be put down and would be hunted down like animals, and you didn't want that to happen to your sweet little Hantengu!
"Hantengu, no!" You cried out as you tried to stop him. You grabbed the back of his shirt and pulled, but he wouldn't budge. He seemed determined to get to your stepfather and you became desperate as you feared for Hantengu's safety and life.
So you put all your strength into your arms, wrapped them around the Demon, hugging him with all you had as you cried out, "Please! Listen to me Hantengu and calm down!"
The Demon flinched and finally, it looked like your actions and words got through to him and he regained some of his senses back. Slowly, you felt him relax and as he calmed down, he started to shrink. You kept hugging him until he was tiny enough to rest on the palms of your hands.
"M- Mistress…?" He whimpered as tears rose to his red eyes and you smiled as you kissed the bump on his head, "Thank you for protecting me Hantengu. Please rest now, since I am safe thanks to you."
The poor little Hantengu sobbed as he nodded, furiously trying to wipe his tears. You smiled a little and planted a gentle little peck on the top of his head before pulling your shirt's collar down and slipping him back inside, between the warmth and safety of your breasts.
"W- what-!" You looked up and saw your stepfather looking at you, shocked and scared witless, "What was that monster!?"
"I don't need to tell you anything," You snapped at him before noticing that the man had pissed his pants. Disgusting, but he absolutely deserved the humiliation. In a way, it was satisfying to see that bastard trembling so hard his teeth clattered together.
"We're done here. You can tell that business partner of yours to find a wife from somewhere else." You said as you glared at your pitiful stepfather coldly, "If you ever contact me again or threaten me or my Demons, I will destroy you…!"
With that said, you turned to leave and as you made it to the door, a bunch of Demon slaves rushed to the room, led by Nicolas and your stepsiblings coming behind at the back of the group.
"Master, are you alright!?" The usually stone-cold man asked as he passed you without a second glance and rushed to treat the asshole who pissed himself in fear.
You saw Demons looking wide-eyed, but you didn't miss how some seemed… Kinda glad and amused by the fact that their Master had been utterly and completely humiliated. You smiled, relishing the fact that they had something to gossip about when they would be resting and away from the prying ears of their tormentors'.
As you passed the door, you saw Cecil and Amanda staring at you like you were a human for the first time, and more than that, you were the first one who had ever stood against your awful parent.
"Take a picture while you are at it. It will last longer," You snapped and they frowned but made no attempt to stop you from leaving. You marched through the mansion and straight to the limousine still parked in front of the huge building. You knocked on the front window and it rolled down to reveal the driver.
"Hey, can you throw me back to my place?" You asked and the guy nodded and you thanked him as you stepped back and entered the limousine. As soon as the door closed, the car took off and you were on your way back home where your Demons were no doubt anxiously waiting.
But you did have some questions.
"Hantengu?" You asked as you pulled your shirt's collar and the small Demon yelped as he looked up at you, "Y- Yes Mistress…?"
"Thank you one more time for saving me." You smiled, and your curiosity got the better of you, "I didn't know you could change your size like that?"
"I- It requires energy…" The frail Demon started to tremble fearfully, "B- But that man was going to hurt my Mistress…! I- I couldn't stand it…!"
"Hey hey, breath Hantengu, breath," You said quickly before he could turn hysterical, "I'm not angry. No no, I'm thankful. You really saved me there, but…"
"B- But…?"
You wanted to tell him that a little warning would have been nice. You had no idea that cute little Hantengu could turn so furious and grow like that… But you knew he meant no harm to you and in the end, he cut that last link that connected you to that awful family of yours. Thanks to him, you were finally free.
"Nothing, I was just awed by how strong you can be when you want to be!" You changed the subject and Hantengu stared at you before he started to cry again, "Mistress is so good to me…!"
You smiled and the rest of the ride really went by with you spoiling Hantengu with sweet words and compliments. Finally, you were back home. You thanked the driver as you stepped out of the vehicle and you were about to enter your house when the front door slammed open and the 4 clones of Hantengu greeted you eagerly while avoiding sunlight.
"Mistress!"
"You're back!"
"Thank God…!"
"Are you okay!?"
"Whoa whoa!" You stepped inside, "One at a time!"
"What happened!?" Sekido asked and Aizetsu frowned, "We felt a strong pull in us… Did Urami appear?"
"Urami?" You wondered out loud and the clones nodded.
"He represents the original one's Resentment!" Urogi replied, and Karaku nodded, "He comes out when the original one is directly in danger or when his feelings take over."
"I think we met?" You wondered out loud as you picked Hantengu from inside your shirt and held him carefully in your hands, "That was Urami back there, wasn't it?"
The small Demon whimpered as he nodded. You hummed as you nodded, taking in and registering all this new info. You had a couple of questions, but before you could figure out what you wanted to say, Sekido scowled, "If Urami came out then something must have happened!"
"Yeah, something did happen." You nodded, "But Hantengu and he saved the day."
"Tell us all!" Karaku grinned and Urogi laughed, "We want to hear what happened!"
You grinned, "Okay, but you are never going to guess who pissed themself in fear!"
The Demons were already cackling and you chuckled as you promised yourself to enjoy your newly gained freedom to the fullest.

opposite question! How each bro will try to get acquainted with the reader that Sekido protects. How do they manage to refrain from eating her ? qvq
It's quite obvious...
They are afraid of Sekido, except Zohakuten. Sekido tries to be as alert as possible when his brothers are around them so that they don't touch Y/N's in the slightest, he doesn't want her to end up in one of his brother's stomach.
They will try to restrain themselves around Y/n because their older brother always has his red eyes glued on them, even though Zohakuten doesn't seem affected by his brother's gaze and tries to stay as far away from Y/n as possible because he knows that Sekido would be upset if he interacted with her.
Karaku is usually the one who gets the most scolded by Sekido, he always approaches y/n even when Sekido is behind y/n looking at him angrily. He flirts and jokes about eating her xD
Thanks for the ask!

pfft remember the sentient braids that I sent about in messages? Can I have a hc of a clone reader. Child preferably with these sentient braids? Each braids correlate to a certain clone and while the braids are protective and Sweet towards reader clone they can either be playful, calm or straight up a menace with a mouth to the other clones please?
A/N: I just love the thought of little sentient braids being this little clone's best friends! She would certainly never feel alone with these little critters playing around with her and talking in her ears all of the time!
Tumblr media
Right off the bat, Karaku has taken to calling you little Medusa because of the little sentient braids that you have reminding him much of snakes the way that they move around and even talk to you
Much like the others, no one really knows where you came from or how, just the fact that you were another clone, just like them, therefore, you much also be kept safe, given the fact that you are also just a child. A demon child, but a child nonetheless.
While you may be alone in the home, you are never really alone. You have your little braid to think for that
Always moving around, nuzzling against you, tickling your ears when they whisper or are just being playful
The braids that take after Karaku and Urogi are certainly the most active and the most playful, even with the actual clones they take after. They whisper jokes, try to lead you to fun places (though not always safe), and love just trying to make you laugh
Aizetsu's braid can always be seen curled up around your shoulders, sometimes seeming like it is asleep, though remains very much alert. He just isn't as active as the other ones. But he will be up when you're resting during the day and seems to keep guard, which does come as a surprise to the others, both clones and braids alike
Zohakuten's is the most snippy, but not really at you. Oh no, he is like a little sweetheart towards you, but to his clone counterpart? Yeah, he had tried to bite his fingers on more than one occasion. While the feeling is mutual, the clone Zoha can't complain too much. That braid of himself does a pretty good job at protecting you.
Sekido and the braid that takes after him have been caught staring at each other more than once. They don't really get along, but there seems to at least be a mutual understanding between the two of them. He had to bite the inside of his lip the moment he saw the braid curled up on the top of your head while you were sleeping, eyes awake and alert to everything that was moving........ it was kinda cute.
Urami doesn't see them too much given he isn't always out, but like Sekido, he holds a mutual understanding with the sentient braid. He wouldn't say he is too fond of the braid, but the respect is there. He has seen it leading you away from danger on more than one occasion and biting at anything who gets too close to you.
Overall, there is an understanding between the clones and the braids. Keep you safe and make sure you don't get into trouble....... just be careful when listening to Karaku's or Urogi's and you'll be just fine.

MORE Urogi Headcanons (+ molting)
(More) General Body HC’s
Has some downy feathers and contours on his chest that peak between his pectorals. They blend with his skin tone pretty well, but do lighten near the tips
Urogi has soft, long-shafted feathers on his upper legs, instead of furry hakama. They are most similar to an ostrich and Silkie chicken
The feathers on his thighs gradient up his lower back, eventually disappearing and leaving just his skin. They also gradient lowly on his hips, and up around his naval- covering and protecting his genitals. This is also why you can’t see his balls when he’s flying above you :)
Chicken-man is Naked. 100% naked. Except for the string of pearls he wears as a joke because Sekido complains about his nudeness.
His hair is actually feathers that lack barbicels (like a Silkie chicken, but much longer!). Very soft to touch.
Urogi’s feathers can raise or lower as his muscles flex, which has several functions. It also makes him look a bit like a Ghibli character since his ‘hair’ poofs when excited
The scales on his arms gradually give way to flesh. They don’t suddenly stop like a glove.
Has a little finger claw under his alula, like some chickens (or a hoatzin, without the terrible smell). You likely wouldn’t know unless you messed with his wings, though.
He does raise his feathers when he’s upset to appear bigger/more intimidating…not that an Upper Rank demon is ever NOT a bit frightening to be around
Though he dives a lot during battle, his wings are meant for passive soaring and he is quite slow unless he gets enough height first. He often soars high above the other clones to scout large areas. His vision is also incredible- not quite as powerful as a bird’s but close enough that nothing really escapes his sight. Has several calls to alert the other clones of what he sees, down to specifying between a single Demon Slayer or a group, or a wandering citizen. Sharp hearing, too. If he is high enough for a good stoop, you will not see or hear him coming. Always be vigilant if you hear a bird of prey calling in the night.
Molting HCs
Molting time is the most miserable you will EVER see him, especially if it’s a full molt
Itchy bird itchy bird itchy bird itch-
Molts approximately every 4-6 physical months (accumulatory/ the time he is in psychic-baby-jail doesn’t count) Full molts are rare and, obviously, affect him the worst
Useless in battle because he cannot fly, which he relies on, and his itching is extraordinarily distracting. Urogi is left at the hideout during this time.
Preens all the time (very prideful) but it is absolutely incessant when he molts. Almost compulsive.
This is the only time he wears any sort of undergarments and it’s really just a loincloth  or something to cover his (now bare) arse, so Sekido stops complaining (Aizetsu complains too) about seeing their counterparts…sensitive bits. They also complain about how odd it looks.
Tends to hide away because he thinks he’s too ugly to look at when he’s missing so many feathers and it upsets him a lot. Doesn’t like the bald spots. Especially on his bum.
Does NOT like to be touched during this time, but simultaneously wants comfort and cuddles?? Cannot decide what he really wants. He’s even more restless than usual.
Easily irritated and can get territorial or aggressive. Has at one point been irate enough to attack Sekido. Unless Urogi comes to you, it’s honestly best to leave him alone for your own safety
His feathers grow back quite slow, especially compared to his ability to regenerate his limbs (his wings ALSO regenerate incredibly slowly. Having his wings sliced off is a huge deal to him! If you are fighting him, avoid cutting his wings because you will find that nothing you could possibly do will piss him off more… )
He was beginning a molt in his battle against Tanjiro
His wings have taken up to four days to fully regenerate with complete feathers after being sliced off. Feathers alone can take around a day and a half.
When he molts, he also loses the extra keratin on his scales along with the barb casings on his new feathers, so you’ll have a bunch of loose keratin all over the floor
Very hungry before and during the molt, needs a lot of protein. If knowing he’s eating more humans than usual bothers you, it’s best if you leave until the molt is over.
He will sleep more during the day, both because molting takes so much energy and to avoid how awful he feels
More vocal than usual during molts. Expect to hear a lot of frustrated squawking and even some tantrums. Try to have sympathy.
How to help (?):
Do NOT laugh at him! He’s already 5 kinds of miserable, already kind of self-conscious. He doesn’t need you making fun of him, even if he normally would laugh too. Assure him that he doesn’t look as bad as he thinks, even if it’s a complete lie.
On that note: try not to draw attention to anything particularly weird that he does to try to relieve his discomfort. Yes, it’s…concerning that he’s biting his own foot. Everyone is wondering why he’s chewing his talons like a mangy dog. Go about your business. Pretend not to see it.
Do NOT try to touch or help him unless he comes to you first. He is most irritable during molt and may snap or lash out at you unintentionally. He’ll apologize when he’s better, but an apology may not mean much when you have several inch-deep lacerations on your arm… However, if he wants cuddles, or for you to help him: do not refuse. He’s clingy (and bossier than usual) and he won’t hesitate to lay all his weight on you and pout until you agree to help.
Don’t pull hard on his feathers! A gentle brush with your hand is all that’s needed, and that way you don't pull any newly grown ones.
If you care about him at all, you will NOT pet his pin feathers against the grain. In fact, it’s probably a good idea not to touch his pins at all unless he says to- he would enjoy it if you would help gently release the feathers from the casing when they’re ready.
Definitely do not intentionally injure his pin feathers. It hurts, they will bleed profusely, and he isn’t likely to forgive it.
Warm baths are great for his itching- the itching, of course, is from dander, keratin flakes, and also the pin feathers coming through his skin.
Stop him from over-preening his new feathers, as he is liable to do in his effort to distract from his discomfort.
Get him a soft blanket that won’t catch on his pins; he’s probably a bit colder than he’ll tell you!
I hope you have a good broom because you’ll be sweeping daily, if not every couple hours. It is a mess, and he actually doesn’t enjoy walking or living in the aftermath of his molt.
His scales get itchy too as the keratin falls off, and he’ll want something to rub them against
Don’t be afraid to offer him some good moisturizing lotion for that.
Light spritzes of water also help if a bath is out of the question at the time.
Does not care that much if you happen to want to keep a feather he’s lost so feel free to snag some nice crafting stuff. Honestly it might make him feel better if you make something out of his loose feathers that you can wear- if you find yourself friends with him then it’d probably behoove you to wear his scent anyway- it will keep you safe from any lower rank demon with a functional brain :)
Praise him praise him praise him praise- Tell him how gorgeous he looks when it's over. He knows he’s pretty, but he wants to hear it from you, and he is going to show off regardless. Stroke his ego.

B-brothers?
( This is a what if? in The Hunter Assassin book. What if there were three other dragons that were still captured and part of the family of Hantengu? What if there weren't just seven, but ten Forest dragons? And what if they nearly kill the one that saved them in front of the brothers and father? Only way to find out is to read the journey and danger that awaits.)
The cave was damp and cold, dragons inhabiting it and in a cuddle pile for warmth. Their father, Hantengu, got found and rescued as well as their overprotective uncle, Urami by the human that rescued them. Their uncle had sharper claws than their father, but still blunt and unable to cut into flesh. He also had shorter wings, just like Hantengu but a bit bigger to accommodate his impressive size.
The dark red dragon, always scowling even in his sleep, was the one with the warmest scales among the seven dragons. They were the only seven true Demon Forest Dragons left. If they were to be killed, then their species would go extinct. Entirely, wiped out from existence.
But tonight wasn't going to be the same as all the other nights. The night would end up being one of trauma and the death of their rescuer.
Unlike the other calm and peaceful nights.
Ears flicked, perking up at the sound of someone screaming and growls from far away. The youngest of the seven dragons lifted his head and stood up so quickly many would have sworn that he could have fallen over.
The other six were alerted and got up slowly. Their father hid behind their uncle, shaking and whimpering. The fear he had for what was going on out there in their forest made it impossible to NOT stop shaking.
The youngest dragon went bipedal, snarling as his tail swished aggressively from side to side. He wasn't happy with whatever was out there, hunting in THEIR territory.
It wasn't just him though. His brothers and uncle were also not happy. They were not happy with intruders in their territory. Urami took a step forward, only to back up when the oldest brother, Sekido, hissed at him.
Just as the youngest brother, Zohakuten, got ready to step out of the cave, a familiar human in black stumbled in the cave. Their mask was off, blood dripping from their mouth and they were covered in blood.
" Zohak-"
The dragon immediately ran to them just as they began to fall, nudging them with his paw as he made a soft whine. But he quickly growled when three strong scents hit his nose.
He snarled, standing over the human protectively. He waited for whatever came towards him to get the human. But he quickly grabbed the human by the back of their shirt between his teeth and jumped back. In time to dodge a white light that would have hit him and the human if he hadn't reacted fast enough.
His brothers and uncle snarled, father shaking as the fear grew worse. Everyone waited, waiting for whatever used that white fire power to come in the cave and attack them. Anything in its power to grab ahold of the human.
But it was quiet, as if the intruder had decided that it was not worth it to get the human.
The human that saved his brothers from being used in fighting rings or worse: skinned for their tough and strong skin and scales. He put the human down, his guard down. So was everyone else's guards down.
Big mistake.
Before anyone could react, a small ball rolled into the cave. Zohakuten didn't trust it, and was right to do so. Because in the next second, it exploded with light that blinded them all. Except Hantengu, as he was behind Urami.
They roared at the sudden blindness they got, bumping into each other as they stepped around, bipedal. Sekido was quick to recover, and saw a white dragon enter the cave, staring at the human with its white eyes.
He snarled and charged at the opponent on all fours, tackling the intruder while the intruder began fighting him as well. However, the white dragon didn't even try to do any damage on him. Mostly defending itself from the blows he was landing on it.
He managed to kick the intruder out of the cave, getting up quickly to charge at them. But stopped when he saw the size of them. They were small, smaller than Zohakuten but had wings bigger than him, Hantengu and Urami.
He observed, guard completely down before he got tackled by another dragon. He snarled, electricity building on his body before Karaku, the second oldest, attacked the other dragon. Urogi, third oldest, joined Karaku to attack the other dragon.
The new dragon was the same size as Karaku, if not a bit bigger. They had silver eyes, a silver crown of some sort with a dark blue and white kimono. Their wings were damaged, tears in their tailfins. Even one of their wings had half of it missing!
They opened their jaws and revealed something unexpected. Their tongue was pitchblack, so was the interior of their mouth.
It was terrifying, as no dragon he had ever seen in his entire life had a black mouth and tongue. Not one species. It almost seemed to... intimidate him, in some odd way. Even the saliva was black.
Karaku and Urogi froze, also somehow intimidated. They quickly brushed it off, however and circled the more injured and larger dragon. Like a pack of wolves circling a deer. Sekido snapped out of it too when the white dragon took off a veil that covered its mouth, a white light came from its jaws before it fired at him.
He was blinded, stumbling back. He was angry, electricity danced on his wings and tail. He was so going to rip this one apart, limb to limb. However, he recovered and went to attack when he saw Aizetsu ontop of them, claws threatening to tear open their throat.
He rumbled at Aizetsu, before sensing something was off. Zohakuten used his wood manipulation to trap the two dragons in roots, growling at them with rage. The silver eyed dragon hissed, tail swishing back and forth as a sign of agitation.
Urami was at the cave entrance, using his body to protect Hantengu who was behind him. He bared his teeth at the two intruders, the human in one of hid paws and still unconscious. The bleeding stopped, but it didn't mean that their wounds were minor. There was a large gash on their thigh.
They were not happy with the two intruders. Especially if they hurt the human that rescued all seven of them and possibly the two dragons. Zohakuten opened his wings, trying to intimidate the larger dragon. But they were not phased, which shocked him.
The white one, however, reacted. They screeched, trilled and swished their tail like a whip. The larger dragon only seemed get aggressive towards him.
Knowing this, Zohakuten approached the white dragon instead and stood in front of them. Now that he got a closer look at their futile attempts of trying to escape, he could see scars littering their face. Small, but noticeable when up close.
The dark blue dragon hissed at him, the temperatures around them dropped so suddenly. It wasn't winter yet, and the only explanation was one of the two dragons.
Sekido snarled at the larger one, which earned him a loud roar in return. The temperatures dropped even more, before Zohakuten folded his wings. He stopped putting fear into the white dragon.
He thought the smaller dragon would stop and be grateful, but he was wrong. A white ball was created in front of them, the very same ball that exploded and caused an explosion of very bright light.
He covered his eyes, and so did the others. Except the dark blue dragon. They were clearly disoriented and unfocused after the explotion of the bright light. Not having been able to cover their eyes with their tail or limbs.
The temperatures rose back to normal. Which meant that the dark blue dragon was the one to have caused the sudden drop in temperature. It was... interesting.
The white dragon still panicked, screeching before they began to fire the white light from their jaws at everyone. The brothers jumped back and distanced themselves from the white dragon.
It was a bit dangerous, as they didn't know what was the extent of the damage they could inflict. It wasn't like their scales were tough enough to block most of the damage, but it was more like HOW many wounds it could inflict with just one shot. Especially how long it would take them all to regenerate.
They didn't want to risk it. Especially with dragons that seemed to have been rescued by Y/n. If so, then why attack the one that saved them? Zohakuten snarled, slowly backing away towards Urami and his father. He had to protect the human, his family after years of not seeing them.
Aizetsu screeched when blood dropped onto him from above, the dark red liquid smelled like rotten meat. Dragon blood. No other blood smelled like rotten flesh. Not even animals. Their blood smelled sweet, but not as sweet as human blood. Human flesh was a delicacy, due to their sweet and succulent flesh.
Urogi looked up, and snarled when he saw a deep magenta coloured dragon in the tree where Aizetsu stood underneath. Their pupils were sharp and focused. They had massive wings, and was even larger than Urami! Their horns were larger, tail white with sharp spikes.
Zohakuten glared, opening his jaws and hissed, ears pinned. He wasn't happy. Not in the slightest. There were not only two but THREE intruders! He was going to show them who was the owner of this territory, who was the
He was about to charge at the one in the tree! When Aizetsu began to screech and roar in pain, clutching his chest where his heart would be. Everyone became on edge. Everyone except the white and silver eyed dragons.
Sekido shook his head and snarled too, Aizetsu still whining and roaring in pain. As if the blood of the magenta dragon did damage to him. Physically. Urogi was behind the dragon, and the intruder didn't seem to notice him until they got pinned by his brother.
They snarled under Urogi, who growled warningly in return. Zohakuten turned arounf and looked at the human in Urami's paws, and lowered his ears. He whined and approached the older dragon.
Urami looked at Zohakuten approach him, and motioned for him to go in the cave. Zohakuten could hear the other three dragons snarl at his brothers, who also snarled at them. He took the human in one paw and entered the cave Urami guarded the entrance of. Hantengu looked at his youngest son, and followed suit.
Karaku snarled at the white one now, who growled surprisingly loud for a dragon their size. It was weird coming from a small dragon. But it was also normal, in a way. Not something other dragons would see everyday.
Aizetsu stopped whining and roaring in pain after Urogi pinned the third dragon. So the blood did have something to do with Aizetsu's sudden pain. So the magenta one was the one they should avoid being drizzled in blood by? Got it.
Sekido approached the one under Urogi, and sniffed. He froze, pupils rounded and tail relaxed. His wings were relaxed next to his sides. He sniffed again, and made a soft growl.
The dragon snarled at him, ears pinned down with saliva connected from the top- and bottom jaw. They were defensive and aggressive, two reasons he understood completely.
Urogi looked at the dragon under him, and snarled. But was quickly silenced by Sekido's sudden hiss at him. He was confused at the sudden action of his older brother, but didn't bother to try to question it.
Sekido looked at the two trapped in the roots Zohakuten had manipulated. Could they...? He slowly approached them and sniffed them too. Same smell... just like them... He looked at the others and made a sharp, yet demanding trill.
Zohakuten poked his head out from the cave, and glared at the three dragons. Sekido snarled at him, approached Zohakuten and quietly growled something in his ears. Zohakuten's eyes widened as his pupils rounded.
The roots immediately let go of the two intruders, while Urogi also let go of the magenta one. The dark blue one stood protectively in front of the white one. The magenta dragon ran towards the two, jumping into a tree and onto a branch that was right above the two of them.
Sekido turned his attention to Urami and Hantengu, motioning for them to come to the group. He growled something in the group, and their eyes widened in shock and surprise. All except for Zohakuten.
They all turned to look at the three dragons, only to see that they had vanished. Where were they?! Where did they go?! They were going to reunite with their other brothers! So why run away from the cave that the three of them fought the seven of them? Well, five of them.
They had to find them, but first they had to wait for the next night. It was already starting to become day, and who knew where they were at this time or how far they had gotten?
-x-
He had panted, collapsing immediately after he had come to a stop. His two brothers were by his side, watching him in worry. Hyuko laid down next to him, one wing used to cover his back like a blanket. Junpei joined the pile, whimpering and hugging him tightly.
His injuries didn't heal. They would take years to properly heal after the torture and fights he had endured. His once beautiful tailfins were battered while his right wing was completely ripped in half. His left wing had a few holes in the membranes, but they would heal within a few days if he rested.
Hyuko nudged him, urging him to rest his body. He couldn't! But he was so tired, so tired that he could barely keep his eyes open. He snorted before his eyes closed, his body finally relaxed as he succumbed to sleep.
Junpei hugged his now sleeping brother tighter as more worry bubbled inside his small chest. Hyuko stopped nudging Maronu, now focusing on him. He whimpered before being nudged by his other big brother.
Hyuko rumbled softly, grooming his head a little with his tongue. It was comforting, knowing that his big brother tried to calm him down with grooming. It was nice, but he didn't let his guard down. This forest was full of danger! What if a human jumped on them?! While big brother slept?!
He whimpered while Hyuko groomed him. He was scared, but he wasn't supposed to be! He was a dragon! A powerful beast that could kill millions in just a day! But his big brothers always brought him food because he was too young to hunt.
Hyuko stopped grooming him when he heard a loud snap. He immediately jumped, hiding behind Maronu from the branch that snapped. As if his big brother would wake up and protect him.
Hyuko stood up, using his body to protectively stand over them and hissed. His ears twitched, saliva dripped from his jaws as he hissed. He hissed even louder when the five dragons they fought came out of the bush.
The green one came forward while the others stayed back. His big brother hissed at him, and scratched his arms to draw blood. He was ready to fight to protect him and Maronu from them.
Until he smelled it. Their scent was similar to his and his brothers' smells. He chirped, causing his brother to look at him. He looked at his brother, growling softly as he cautiously made his way towards the other dragons.
Hyuko kept a close eye, snarling as he watched his younger brother approached the ones that protected that- that human! He growled and sniffed the air too, muscles tensed up as he caught their smell.
They smelled just like Manoru, Junpei and him. Were... were they their brothers? But why did they protect that human? Was it because they were saving it for last?
They had found their brothers... He was happy! Now they wouldn't have to worry about being attacked by humans! Hyuko approached them too, rumbling lowly when Junpei flinched when they made a single movement.
They were reunited with their other family. It felt nice. Junpei greeted then, opening his little feathered wings and the feathered one did the same thing. Hyuko turned around and went back to Manoru. He stared at his brother and went bipedal to pick him up.
They found their brothers... They finally found the family they had been searching for, for years. Hyuko took a step towards their long lost brothers, before snarling. He smelled a human. The same human that released them from their prison.
They wanted to make them fight! He had to kill them! He had to protect his brothers! He took a step back, growling at the purple winged brother. He smelled the human's scent on him, he knew that he had eaten the human. He just didn't trust or know how the scent was still there.
He watched as his brother came back as soon as he also got a whiff of the human's scent. He knew that digestion had to take place and that such a small creature already had to be digested. Why were they protecting a human?!
He didn't trust his long lost brothers anymore. They were manipulated! They had to be! Why else would they protect a human?!
One of his brothers, the green one, dared to approach him and his two brothers. He snarled louder and lowered his upper torso to put his brother on the ground again and stand over him. His wings opened, revealing black membranes underneath the wings.
He didn't trust them anymore. Not one bit. The green brother rumbled at them, trying to coax them to calm down and that the human was harmless to them. That the human saved them from being used in fighting rings or worse.
He snarled, hissing as the spikes on his tail raised to show his anger. He was massive compared to everyone, his strength impressive. However, he didn't know about the one that held the human. He looked strong, despite his appearance.
He didn't trust anything now. He didn't trust anyone except for Junpei and Maronu. They wanted to protect the one species that gave them hell instead of protecting them! Maronu protected them! He did everything to make sure Junpei and him were protected! Made sure that they received minor injuries unlike him!
He won't let them get hurt again. Especially his protective brother.
-x-
It took them around more than three hours to convince their other brother that the human saved them. Three hours of them snarling and hissing at them. They had to convince them that not all humans were evil.
Zohakuten had regurgitated the human after the magenta dragon promised to not hurt them. To say that he didn't growl would be a lie. They still didn't believe them, and made themselves at home outside the cave.
It was better than them getting ready to fight again. It wasn't what they wanted though. They wanted to be with them, but the magenta one, who they knew as Hyuko, kept snarling at them. As if they were the enemy all along.
It didn't set well with Sekido. Nether he or Hantengu thought it sat well with them. Hantengu, with all his courage, went outside to meet the sons he didn't know his now dead mate had.
To say that Hyuko was a bit aggressive would be debatable. He was protective, and even had saliva drip from his jaws, teeth ready to draw his own blood and give him physical pain.
Hantengu gave a soft but shaky rumble, a friendly sound that he hoped his son would take as a truce. He looked at Junpei, maybe the youngest son compared to Zohakuten, and smiled.
Hyuko stopped snarling, but did not lower his guard. Hantengu felt hurt, but knew to respect Hyuko's boundaries. Especially with how he took on the roll of protector so quickly.
Whatever those humans did to them to make them think Y/n would hurt them must have been horrible. Even seeing their own saviour as one of them. They must have gone through so much, if Maronu's injuries were to go by.
Even when he slept, his muscles were still tense. It would take a long time to get them to trust Y/n. Maybe an entire year or three. Maybe more.
Hopefully they will warm up to the human.
Note: This took three days. And I am so tired. And fan art is more than welcome.

Innocence pt. 3 (Clone!Reader)
Word Count: 866
(Y/N) was running happily in the forest around their base, Aizetsu not far behind watching them. After realizing that their new clone had strange powers, along with a tendency to reckless and impulsive actions, the other clones decided that they had to drag the child wherever they went and one of them was always to always keep an eye on them so they wouldn't get another scare like when the little one went out in the sun. This time, Aizetsu was the one chosen (more like bullied) to follow the child clone around while the others hunted some humans for them to eat.
"Aizetsu! Aizetsu!"
The small clone called him out, pulling his hand.
"Yes, (Y/N)...?"
"How was it when you first appeared?"
"When I... First appeared...?"
"Yeah! When you first came out from Little Mister! How did it happen?"
"Ah... That... It was... Complicated..."
"Complicated? How so?"
The sorrowful clone hesitated for a moment before picking the child and carrying them around the forest.
"You see... Hantengu took a while before he awakened his blood demon art... He was always scared of slayers... So he was always overly cautious..."
(Y/N) laughed while nodding.
"Little Mister is scared of his own shadow."
"Yes... But one day... He entered a house to eat... But he didn't know the house belonged to a slayer... When he returned home, he found Hantengu there... He didn't hesitate to cut off his head..."
"But... He survived... Didn't he...?"
Aizetsu nodded.
"Cutting off a demon's head is the means to kill them... However, in a split moment... He awakened his blood demon art that was triggered by his decapitation... The result was me, Sekido, Karaku and Urogi..."
"And you all protected him and defeated the evil guy, right?"
Aizetsu nodded slowly. It was better to leave the child with their delusions rather than tell them that they were bickering and arguing with one another until they realized that Hantegu was almost getting killed and that they were supposed to protect him.
"Aizetsu... Why do these slayer guys want to hurt us...?"
The youngest clone asked, keeping their head low, almost whispering.
"Because we eat people, (Y/N)... To them, this is seen as a bad thing..."
"But... It's not like we can control it... We just get hungry... Don't they get hungry too?"
"They do, but they don't eat one another... How would you feel if a creature ate any of us...?"
"I... would be upset..."
"That's how they feel about us... It's impossible for them to understand us, and we can't understand them either... It's that complicated..."
The little clone nodded, resting their chin on Aizetsu's shoulder, before mumbling.
"I wish we could all be friends..."
Aizetsu didn't say anything, just continued walking. Then, a message entered his mind.
"Aizetsu! We found slayers! Be alert!"
Immediately, older clone became alert after Sekido's warning. He placed held (Y/N) in one hand while summoning his spear with the other.
"Aizetsu...?"
The sorrowful clone remained silent, his senses focused on the surroundings. He could hear it. The flap of wings from the slayers crows. He placed the smaller clone on the floor to yield his weapon properly.
"(Y/N)... Listen... Find a place to hide... Don't come out until I come find you... If you see a human, run... Understood?"
(Y/N) looked at Aizetsu uncertain, hesitating before running off to high bushes to hide themselves. Aizetsu sighed to calm his racing heart and prepared to fight the slayers.
Tumblr media
Over one hour had passed since Sekido's warning. It didn't took long before the slayers found Aizetsu. He was outnumbered, but no matter how many times they cut his head, he wasn't the real one, so he just regenerated time and time again until he killed them all. Usually, he would take his time to eat the feats before him, but he was worried about the little clone.
“(Y/N)... You can come out...”
He called, but he was answered with silence.
"(Y/N)...?"
Silence. Despair took the features of the sorrowful clone. He began running through the forest.
"(Y/N)...! (Y/N)...! Where are you...!?"
"Oi~! Aizetsu~!"
The other clones appeared along with Hantengu, having followed his voice.
"What's the matter? You look more like the despair clone now! Kyakakakakaka"
"Slayers found us, so I told (Y/N) to hide, but I can't find them now...!"
In a split moment, they all began running the forest, looking for (Y/N).
"(Y/N)! WHERE ARE YOU!?"
"FOLLOW OUR VOICES, (Y/N)!"
Zohakuten and Urogi used their loud voices and their abilities to search for (Y/N) from above while the others searched bellow at ground level, checking any hide spots they could be in.
"(Y/N), please...! Come out...! It's safe now...!"
"(Y/N)~! Come here, sweetie~! I got some eyeballs for you~! Your favorites~!"
"(Y-Y/N)...! P-Please...! C-Come o-out...! A-Answer u-us...!"
"SHOW UP NOW, YOU FUCKING BRAT!"
"You'll be a bad influence for them if you keep swearing like that, Sekido."
That voice made the anger clone freeze and look in that direction. When he looked, he saw Akaza, the Upper Moon 3, looking at him with a serious glare. In his arms, fast asleep, was (Y/N).
"Lord Muzan wants to talk to you."
"Oh, fuck..."

Ishimaki, stay safe and have fun cutie! I'm going to buy you so many clothes when you're done. anything you would like?
AND TO THE OTHER DEMON. THE ONE ALSO INSULTING ISHIMAKI? YEAH I FORGOT YOU'RE NAME CAUSE YOU WERE IRRELEVANT BUT WHEN I CATCH YOU.. WHEN I CATCH YOUUU!
(ง'̀-'́)ง (me fr)
ill make you into uhh something. idk yet but ill know when I come back!
Karaku smiles as you give him the money.
— "Why, thank you! How very thoughtful of you~ You can buy me anything that catches your eye! Hehe~"
He says with a smile as he pockets the money.
— "Alright, then! I shall be off to Disneyland now! Goodbye, Urogi and Aizetsu! Do have fun, you two~"
He waves, starting to walk away, and you notice that he begins to run off to Disneyland along with Ishimaki.
Aizetsu continues to sit back and eat his popcorn, seeing both Ishimaki and Karaku leave. Then, he looks at Sekido who is still struggling in Urogi's grasp.
— "Hmm.. Looks like I'll be here alone with you again, Sekido, just us two…"
He says this, with Sekido glaring at him intensely. He stares at Sekido with his blank expression, all while eating his popcorn still.
Sekido looks like he just wanted to strangle Aizetsu. Then, he suddenly lets out a massive scream, seeming to let out all of his pent-up emotions.
— "GRRRAAAAARRR!! Why does everyone keep leaving me for those weaklings!? Don't they understand that those demons are a stain on our ass? How could they ignore me, don't they know how much stronger I am than everybody else!?"
He continues to let out this loud and angry fit, completely ignoring the fact that if he continues to be so loud he could alert every single demon around.
Meanwhile, Karaku and Ishimaki run to Disneyland, seeming to be excited to get into the park to have fun.
— "Ah, what a lovely day we're having today! The weather is gorgeous and today we're off to Disneyland, just the two of us, aren't we Ishimaki-chan?"
He says to Ishimaki with a big smile, holding her hand as they begin to walk inside the entrance of Disneyland.
Ishimaki nodded and smiled up at Karaku, her face filled with pure joy and happiness.
"Yes we are! Hehe, I'm so excited to go to disneyland now, and spend time with you as well!! This is going to be so fun!!"
The child pulled harder of Karaku, so she could get closer to her best friend. She was a bit tired of walking. Being short is hard at times. But the demon was so excited and hyper for Disneyland. She was so excited to be there and have fun.
Mokushiroku looked at you with a sinister grin.
"Ohhhh? I'm irrelevant now? Haha! You're so funny. I've just been playing with a lot of people to pass the time. You know, Being cooped up in a box for hundreds of years really doesn't do any favors for my behavior. But to be honest? I don't regret it at all! Just look at my mental state!!"
Mokushiroku's laughter became more and more disturbing. He seemed to want to watch this demon child break.
