really long post here but Aigis and Ryoji basically share the same vibe.. these guys should have been friends!! They could have been!!! They're both very very wholesome entities, very precious people. So sweet and curious and caring. I kind of want to see that happen because they actually do share a whole lot in common regarding how they interact with the protagonist

idc if you think he's annoying. If Dazai were the protagonist(and I say this as a huge Dazai fan) I guarantee people would find him annoying. Because people are never pleased and need something to bitch about.

Atsushi is messy, he is a bitch, he is morally grey, he is kind, he's a kid and his world is constantly falling down around him. And he is the best choice for bsd's protagonist.

Complaining abt Suicide Squad yet again but the fact that they have Waller exposing the alien community to space racist attacks and talking abt how she got to her position through deceit and being a terrible person and stuff is just. Ahsfiwueh JUST SAY YOU DONT KNOW WALLER.

Anyways literally the 3rd mission of the Squad ever (and the first framed as smth Waller picked and not orders from above) was the Squad discrediting and stopping a rogue vigilante who was only arresting POC and funneling white people into white supremacy groups (of which he was the most prominent member) in SUICIDE SQUAD #4. and it's explicitly framed as this mission being personal for Waller that she's hiding from the government bc its illegal like. Guys. Please why are we having her incite (space bc comics) racist attacks now

Also the whole "Amanda got her position through deceit and being a terrible person" NO. she KEPT her position through being shitty and playing complicated political games!!! She wasn't always that way like there is a difference and it is IMPORTANT ppl PLEASEEEE. In Secret Origins #14 we learn Amanda's backstory and she used to be a normal, caring person! Like even after she entered into working in government and politics she wasn't automatically morally bankrupt like please people. She was originally given control of the Squad by Reagan (*sigh* 80s comics...) to distract and get rid of her because she was so successful at pushing progressive social policy in Congress. Acting like she's this static pillar of evil is such a waste of her character and so fucking uninteresting and disrespectful to her arc it drives me MAD.

Like I am NOT saying Waller is all sunshine and rainbows, she fucking SUCKS (said w love <3) but like there's a human being there. It's a progression, she has a character arc like please, DC, please!!! They've fucked up Waller so bad and made her so opaque and uninteresting she can't even be the protagonist of her own story for fucks sake!

Like I don't know how many times I have to scream it until DC hears me or remembers but WALLER IS THE MAIN CHARACTER OF SUICIDE SQUAD. ITS HER BOOK. yet right now she's a cutout to be used as the villain wherever the writers please. Even in her book we get none of her perspective really displayed, no exploration of her thoughts with any kind of understanding of the role she traditionally has played and was made to play in the story.

Shuichi with the other protags is funny because in my view essentially the one hyper empathy in a crowd of low empathies and I think that has possibility for some hilarity

Shuichi: yours are all going on character arcs about how they were forced into a life of murder against their will and finally is gaining the strength to fight against this system as well right

Makoto remembering how the literal only thing from stopping Syo is a promise she made with her crush and he’s just okay with that: wellll it’s okay because she pinkie promised but she is utterly unrepentant

Komaru also thinking about Syo: just because you can’t accept her atrocities doesn’t mean I can’t, I think it’s hot of her to try and kill a man in front of me for my honor

Hajime: I’d like to say we are all on that course but SOME OF US, KOMAEDA, ARE BEING REALLY ABSTINENT THAT MURDER IS BAD, KOMAEDA but we’re on a deserted island now so who cares honestly

I was a little hesitant about the new mechwarrior game coming out in a few days after hearing that rather than doing the sandbox style from mercenaries, they're doing a linear style.

But I just found out that you can play as women in this new one, so it's already got one thing going for it over mercenaries

Shadow the Hedgehog (2005)<33333 that game is already wild n has a reputation sort of like forces, and its my second fav sonic game<3 so i think itd be fun first and foremost. but also i think itd also be VERY VERY interesting to see how he could possibly fit in there, how him and shadow would interact, what paths hed be in, how theyd change by having him, maybe even new paths?? imagine a secret ending r smth named episode infinite...... or a path where shadow and infinite have a more allied dynamic and what else thatd entail...... i just think it would be cool. teehee :3c
