More skin tone options still won't fix the bad body proportions.

At first I was disappointed YA was gender locked because I would have liked to play an age gap book where the MC is older, but then I playtested it and naaah. You can keep that sheltered and inexperienced housewife who lacks spine to say no to her spouse's sad puppy eyes even after the divorce. The first date with LI was somewhat WLM coded as well.

Oh wow, ID3 already early next year! As I mentioned in my book 2 review, the lead writer will be new though, so I'm a bit wary. Though maybe the new writer is better and actually makes special dialogue for male MC. Those steamy scenes in book 2 were a major disappointment.

Face Off - I doubt it's going to be anything similar to that movie featuring Travolta and Nic Cage 😃. I just hope this time the MC is the main character and a hockey star.

It's actually pretty crazy how much content PB is churning out currently. Two books per month is more than PB released even before Covid. I guess that's why all new visuals are AI and stories feel rushed and superficial.

TPOF - female MC and male LI, so nothing for me.

BA - More werewolf stuff? Probably something short though. Has Blackwood been mentioned in any story?

DNH - Finally PB admits its existence. I already tried it out. Bad AI "art" and dialogue, so don't expect anything good. PB's probably testing how much it can rely on AI. Perhaps it will be more polished by the release time.

TTD - I'm actually surprised the shorts aren't VIP exclusive anymore. I wonder why. This one seems to be all about tappable items, not tapping dat 🍑. It would have been better though if the LI had looked like some of the hot side characters everyone's been thirsting over, not TBB LI.

Persephone & Hades (Lore Olympus)

- Capitalist tyrant who brags about his slave labour and has a pattern of going after girls in the 19-25 age range cheats on his girlfriend with a spoiled, petty Mary Sue 19 year old who's 2000 years younger than him (that's not even an exaggeration, 2000 years) and who is constantly infantilised and drawn like a child. And yet this power couple can do no wrong and anyone who stops and asks "is this a healthy relationship?" is immediately a villain

- I barely remember much from the series, but I do remember the (large) amount of bad vibes that was coming from the fact that Persephone was like, 19 when Hades found out he loved her and Hades is like 100+ or 1000+ (its been a while leave me alone). Also how the narrative would always push for and make sure these two married each other or got in a relationship no matter what. Even going so far as to have the characters that originally were against these two (eg: Artemis and Hecate and I think Hera too) end up supporting them all of a sudden. Also the fact that Persephone is VERY very new to relationships both romantic and platonic while Hades full on knows this isn’t a good idea and everything, they still end up pursuing each other. Overall it’s really creepy and putting off a lot of alarms. Not to mention the fact that Hades dreamt about having two kids and whole family with Persephone. These two barely know each other, too, man.

- Hades is 2000, Persephone is eternally 19 )what the mcfuck) - Persephone looks his Rhea (his mom). Sigmund Freud is quaking in his boots. - THEY HAVE NO CHEMISTRY. Persephone likes Hades for the power and the bare minimum respect he gives her, while Hades likes her because she’s small and petite. That’s weird, that’s suspicious. - Hades is a capitalistic CEO and owns slaves. Persephone is supposed to be the most “compassionate” of the gods. The comic’s words, not mine. 50 Shades of Gray, more like 50 Shades of Blue. - Persephone looks like a kid next to Hades most of the time. Maybe the yaoi proportions are throwing me off or I’m hallucinating, but Persephone has childlike features like 65% of her panels. - Where’s the arguments, the disagreements? Because let’s be honest, a healthy relationship needs the occasional disagreement. - Hades ripped out an eyeball for her despite knowing her for like a week (maybe even less). She didn’t even ask for that. That’s a step too far for someone you just met. - Hades closed off the underworld for Persephone. RIP to the economy. All because of her. - They flirted while Hades was in a relationship (RIP Minthe). - They’re both assholes (the bitches that torment the lower classes together stay together ig). Also sorry for the long ass rant, I hate them so, so much.

Your usual mermaid/merman, aka upper body of a human and lower body of a fish, there are stories about them in Asia, America,Africa, and Europe. They are said to cause storms and shipwrecks.

Not to be confused with sirens. Those come from Greek mythology and influenced the idea of mermaids singing to attract sailors, even tho sirens are half bird half woman... so basically:

Selkies have a dual nature both in temperament and in physicality as they can be either very friendly or very vengeful and while they have a seal form in the water they can take out their skin to transform into a human.

They are said to be extremely beautiful in human form, so beautiful in fact that some people would hide their seal skin to force them to marry... not very cash money if you ask me.

This one is not really mythological even tho there are some tales about similar creatures.

The one I thought of when doing the poll was based on the movie "The Creature from the Black Lagoon". It's basically an amphibian humanoid monster with the classic old Hollywood evil monster story.

🐢 KAPPA 🐢

Kappas are part of Japanese mythology and have a turtle like body with a bowl shaped head that stores water. If this "bowl" goes empty, whether if spilled or dried up, the kappa loses most of its power and, in some tales, even turns into stone.

They can karate chop ypu if you are disrespectful toward them,they like cucumbers, sumo and have a bad habit of stealing a spiritual organ from humas by sticking their finger in the ... "back door"

🐠 NINGYO 🐠

Ningyo are also from Japanese mythology and are kind of like a merfolk but with different proportion, normally only the head is of a human while the rest of the body is of a fish.

They don't really do harm but are said to be bad omens to bloody battles. They were hunted because it is said that eating its flesh greatly improves longevity... maybe that's why the Japanese live for so long.

I’m 5’0. I feel like i’ll only feel cute being short when i’m skinnier. i hate the fact that i can’t look like THOSE girls that i find so beautiful bc of my proportions. to have stick th1n thighs i’d probably have to weigh like 75 lbs and my maintenance would be like 1300👎

but i think eventually i’ll be okay with it once i hit my gw. i think lots of short girls are quite cute.
