Due mesi fa ho scaricato un film vecchio quasi quanto me. Sedotto dal titolo - L’isola misteriosa - e dal riassunto della trama. Me lo sono guardato nel tardo pomeriggio. Per scoprire che l’avevo visto e amato da ragazzino. Trama inverosimile, ma effetti speciali per l’epoca semplicemente incredibili. Alcuni mostrano la loro età. Ma altri funzionano ancora. La storia? Quattro uomini e due donne finiscono in un’isola con granchi giganti, polli enormi, ostriche esagerate e api smisurate. Tutto frutto degli esperimenti del mitologgico Capitano Nemo. C’è solo un problema: un vulcano che minaccia di saltare in aria a breve, anzi brevissimo. Riusciranno i nostri eroi e le nostre eroine a salvarsi? Io non ve lo dico. Che magari vi vien voglia di scoprirlo.
