Primrose and Ophelia have the best and worst first chapters respectively and it’s absolutely insane to me that they swap quality at the exact same time, near the end of Chapter 3.

The Archbishop dying and spurring Lianna to steal the flame for the sake of a cult leader in service to the god diametrically opposed to the god of Ophelia’s faith is so much more interesting than the the reveal that Primrose’s father was killed for investigating a crime syndicate but also for the jerk-off fantasy of The World’s Worst Theater Kid.
