I would love to have talent in mechanics because of her childhood. In my head she did not just wait in her tower but helped Bruno with all the robots because she love them too, they're her family after all... In my AU, Hershel and Flora would bound thanks to their love of mechanics and crafting ! And Layton would be absolutly blown away by her skills (and also very prouf of her).
