✨MY TAKE ON TFA SPARKLINGS/PROTOFORMS✨

All you only need are three components; a protoform, a spark, creators’ CNA!

-|The spark can either be formed from a spark bound or from the AllSpark itself

-|An adult protoform will be essentially the best option

-|Creators’ CNA is required as well for the sparkling, and the process is quite simple

-|| I wished they could have explored Sari’s origins honestly but this shall be my head cannon that Meg’s CNA was already in the protoform and when Prof Sumdac touched it both of their infused DNA/CNA made Sari ||-

Adult Frame Protoform can turn to a small frame/sparkling once there is a spark. (Whether it’s from the AllSpark or Spark bound)

Now, because Vector Sigma isn’t within this process to create or bring life to a sparkling but an adult frame instead, the creators of the sparkling will then engage in contact by touching the molten spark protoform to mix their CNA together to create their offspring. The molten protoform with the combination of both creators’ CNA, will form a pod-like structure.

Once the pod hatches/casing opens, you have yourself a sparkling!✨

The case will open whenever the protoform structure, coding is installed fully. Every sparkling will take its own time to develop within the pod. When it is their time to emerge, the pod will blink its lights profusely

They’ll be small ofc and their hard metal plating would develop over time when the sparkling comes of age

TFA Megatron x Reader

• When you’d signed on, snagging the coveted position as Prof. Sumdac’s intern and personal assistant, you’d been hoping to learn some of his secrets. Get a hands on education in state of the art robotics. Not spend most of your time cleaning up after the surprisingly diminutive and incredibly absent minded genius. The man leaving a trail of half empty tea cups all over his lab. Wandering about collecting those for the night before you can leave, you reach for the light switch and when you turn it off, a bright line of light against the wall makes you hesitate. What is that? Flicking the light back on, you set down the tray you’d been using to clean up and walk over. And realize there’s a gap behind the shelving. Wiggling your finger into the gap and pulling to find the whole shelf rolls on a set of hidden tracks.

• It’s difficult to gauge time accurately trapped as he is. Sumdac working to repair his body. Supposedly. Hates leaving his fate in the hands of the primitive insect, knowing how cautious the human is. Too cautious and that makes it hard to manipulate him as he’d like. Hearing steps on the stairs to the lab Sumdac hides him away in, his optics lift and a low growl escapes him. Because you’re not Sumdac. And the way you’re creeping about trying to be quiet, looking around wide eyed, makes it clear you’re not supposed to be down here.

• It’s a whole lab, secreted away behind a hidden passageway. Heart racing as your fingers brush along the wall, you take it in. Has anyone else been down here or are you the first? Know you shouldn’t be down here, that Sumdac will be angry. Might very well throw you out if he catches you, but you can’t resist the mystery. It’s the partially built, giant robot head that draws your eyes. Those red optics luminous and you almost fall when they shift and focus on you. Breath catching as you wonder if it’s a security system and if sirens are about to start screaming. Because it’s looking at you with uncanny focus and intelligence.

• Wide eyes stare up at him, as you cling to the stair railing, backing up and he forces a warm smile. “Please, don’t go. It gets so lonely down here,” he says. “I can assure you I’m not a threat to you.” And you hesitate, staring at him. Watches you fidget, little hands plucking at the hem of your covering, but you’re listening. Hoping you’re more gullible than Sumdac, because if he can coax your trust, he can convince you to help. Convince you to trust him. Only him. “I’ve been trapped down here by that man. Dissected and tortured to help him further his own greedy goals. Please.”

• This is the secret to Sumdac’s genius? Is he an AI? Heart pounding, you move closer, drawn by that deep voice. “Sumdac did this to you?” And moving closer, watching those optics track you, he is more advanced than any of the Prof’s robots. “What are you?” Where’s the rest of him? “Can I help?” And he smiles down at you as you examine the tube his head is trapped in. Because the distress in his voice tugs at you. Tortured and dissected when he’s clearly intelligent and far too advanced. What is he?

What are sparklings? Are they like robot babies?

YES!

They are a mostly fan concept however. Hasbro has been cowards and unfortunately haven't realized how good an idea it is.

Mostly cuz that opens the floodgates of robot pregnancy I assume.

With that said, IDW comics does touch on the concept as far as I understand, regarding protoforms where they start out like lil marshmallows, then grow into their basic robot forms.

I think that protoform is a scraplet, but I'm not terribly familiar with IDW continuity so take that with a grain of salt.

In TFA, Sari can technically count as one.

Prof. Sumdac found her as a lil protoform that somehow ended up in his lab and after touching her, she somehow absorbed his DNA and became humanlike.

We probably would have GOTTEN MORE INFO IN SEASON 4 ABOUT HER ORIGINS BUT WE DIDN'T GET SEASON 4!!

Personally, I love the idea that they start off as lil squishy marshmallow blobs, developing arms n legs later on as they develop, along with more rigid structures.

And I think sparklings could be one of the reasons why Cybertronian altforms' tend to have this conveniently open space in them that you can access. They can get carried around like how marsupial do

Also we can't forget the biggest contribution to Sparkling Ideas, the KOBD child - Wildbreak.

He had so many similar traits to the gay cat husbands that fans just took the idea he was their kid and RAN.

Transformers All-Sparks: Nevada Friendlies

Fleshing out the other human cast to compliment the main ones, featuring some folk from many segments of the franchise!

The AU from the human side mostly begins in Jasper, Nevada, and much of the action starts in the state.

Miko and Raf are Jack's best friends. They're basically exactly the same as their TFP counterparts personality wise. Miko's a bit bummed that Jack spends a bit less time with them now that he has a girlfriend, but hey, at least he's happy!

Lori Jiminez and Coby Hansen are members of the school's workshop class, and originally came from Colorado. They bicker a lot (usually it's Lori getting flabbergasted by Coby's antics), but they truly love each other deep down. Based off, of course, Lori and Coby from Transformers: Cybertron.

Close by is Mission City, a bustling metropolis that has become one of THE places to go to pursue a career in engineering and energy.

Mission City University features such minds like Prof. Arkeville and Doctor Malto. Visiting the campus is Dr. Ezra Greene, eccentric scientist from an island called Griffin Rock.

Prof. Arkeville is a brilliant if out there man of SCIENCE. He's a master of neurology among other sciences, and thoroughly believes the validity of hypnosis technology. Has a genuine Sumdac Systems prosthetic arm.

Dr. Malto teaches culture, history and other anthropological subjects in the University. He loves nothing more than sharing the importance of passing down culture from generation to generation. Is a fantastic cook.

Dr. Ezra Greene travels America in his iconic solar car to teach the nation about SCIENCE and all the wonders of science, with Mission City being one of his stops. Has a show produced, directed, written and recorded by himself. Wows and terrifies people with some of his zanier experiments.

Sgt. Robert Epps, MCPD, is an Army veteran and man of determination and courage. He's an example of an everyday soldier engaged in a firefight vs. Cobra... and won. Now serving as an officer in Mission City's police department. He keeps other cops in line, making sure they remember that they protect and serve first and foremost.

Alexis Thi Dang. Government Intern. She aims to be hopefully be president one day, but first wants to get an understanding of local politics before aiming higher. Has a bit of a problem with her own ego due to her ambitions, but at the same time, is always trying and hoping to find the good in others.

Spike and Sparkplug Witwicky. Sparkplug is the de facto patriarch of the great Witwicky clan, and a man who has considerable knowhow in all things engineering and maintainence, from cars to buildings. Spike is Sparkplug's son, and a guy who inherited all of Sparkplug's engineering smarts and then some. Good natured and a loyal friend through and through.

Mikaela Banes, Alice and Sam Witwicky: A group of University students that stick together almost like glue. Mikaela is a car enthusiast who've made it mostly on her own after a rough childhood. The most confident of the group, and de facto leader. Alice is an everygirl who's studying history in Mission City U. She's just trying to do her best and not get into trouble. Sam Witwicky is the goofiest member of a the great Witwicky clan. Sparkplug set him straight to not be a try-hard. Being a goofy dude is a-okay, being a good person matters more.

tfa victory shenanigans!

i probably won't ever make this real because im very bad at mimicking the style of a show and my own continuity gives me more room to work/breath. but that being said i have tfa brainrot rn so random bullshit go!

-victory is created in the first battle between optimus and megatron in transform and roll out (first episode/premiere). they're messing around with the allspark or something idk. the life giving power of the allspark in this continuity makes up for the lack of optimus's matrix (also power giving)

-everyone is too busy first fighting and then dealing with the crashing ship to notice the allspark shitting out a new protoform. victory still IS very much a megop kid btw, allspark shenanigans drew from both of their sparks. fucking space magic dude i dunno

-baby victory has no idea whats going on but their natural emergency protocols lead them to dive into optimus's stasis pod along with him and theyre too small for him to notice... so they go into stasis along with everyone else

-it's worth noting that right now megatron has no idea that they exist. no one does

-50 years later, baby victory stumbles out of stasis just like everyone else. optimus and the rest of his team go ??????????? bc... a fucking baby just spawned in? huh????????? baby victory bears little resemblance to OP or megs bc that aint how it works so everyone is just so confused

-baby victory gets an earth alt mode (some kind of like big jeep, think swindle alt) along with everyone else and shenanigans ensue as the autobots get used to both earth and the baby that theyve all collectively decided to adopt

-optimus discovers that his spark can harmonize with victory's, which is how familial units on cybertron are usually formed (too tired to explain this but basically protoforms get mentors/adoptive parents that teach them stuff they need to know, they are paired up based on how their sparks respond to each others). the bots still haven't figured out victory's origins

-the show more or less continues like normal. victory grows up pretty fast since thats just how it works in this world (for plot conveniences) and probably they also use sari's key to make vicky a bit bigger (once the cons are back and its super dangerous). they love hanging out with bee and sari (vicky's mental age is like somewhat older than sari but they mature and age much faster) and getting into tons of misadventures

-its all pretty silly, there really arent many horrors. victory is raised by the whole team but optimus tries his best to fill the traditional cybertronian mentor/parent role and although its out of obligation at first, he begins to genuinely love vicky

-the decepticons at first have no idea where vicky came from or that megatron is one of their creators. however, megatron is aware of their existence from his time monitoring everything has a fuckin head in prof sumdac's lab. he also has no idea of their origins

-eventually once megatron comes back he orders his cons to take vicky hostage probably to get leverage over the bots for something? or maybe vicky wanders out and one of em just scoops them up? idk but one way or another vicky ends up at the con base.

-at first megatron treats them like a prisoner, but then through some shenanigans he finds out that their sparks can harmonize too! he gets someone to dig up old footage from the downed ship - idk how but just pretend pls and there it is! BOOM allspark combines his and OP's energy and shits out vicky

-megatron learns he has a kid and optimus learns that vicky's other creator is fucking megatron. both of them crash out a little bit, vicky is horrified and disgusted at themself but at the same time wants to know megatron more

-idk i havent watched the rest

-vicky will prob have to deal with optimus as magnus on cybertron and megatron in prison once tfa is over.... which won't be fun, since eventually the truth will get out that theyre also megatron's creation, and optimus is too busy to take proper care of them. this leads to them feeling kinda lost, they just want to go back to their time on earth where everything made sense. also, this leads to them visiting megatron more and bonding more with him.

Thinking about making a Transformers Animated AU where Megatron loses his memories in the 50 years he's trapped in the Sumdac labs

He wakes up confused and completely lost, no idea who or what he is. Prof. Sumdac is the first one there when he wakes up and explains everything to him (from his knowledge, ofc). He paints the Autobots out to be Megatron's friends and brings them in to see him.

Obviously, there's a lot of anger and mistrust from them, feeling Prof. Sumdac had lied to them. They realize Megatron has completely lost his memories, however, and decide to pry him for any possible hidden information he has. When they find nothing, realizing he has completely lost EVERYTHING, they decide to go through with rebuilding him and keep him under their watch.

This means keeping him away from the other Decepticons. If they see him and recognize him, it could ruin everything. While Megatron may have lost his memories, they're scared of the other Cons jogging his processor and bringing them back

Megatron isn't allowed to go on missions with the Autobots, instead being Prof. Sumdac's assistant in his lab to help with Cybertronian technology.

Bonus that Megatron is able to go out a few times and once runs into a Decepticon, who recognizes him and is confused as to why he's stuck with the Autobots. Megatron, of course, is confused as well. Cue the angst

Yes this would mean I'd have to rewrite basically the whole show HOWEVER thats okay bc I don't want Starscream and Prowl dying anyways (and I think Starscream should get the chance to properly rule the Decepticons)

The Headmaster: Fuckface

So. The headmaster guy who is working with the guy who replaced prof. Sumdac piss me off because of one single thing they did. To get out of being arrested, the guy who is running Sumdac’s business pressures Fanzone so he won’t arrest the headmaster. Every argument made is invalid (legally) solely on the basis that the police don’t need to tell you why your being arrested in America, you can’t be held for more than three days without being told why you were arrested. So when Dipshit argues with Fanzone about why Fuckface can’t be arrested it’s invalid because he isn’t a person who would have any authority on that and Fanzone is not legally obligated to provide an explanation. If or not that should be allowed is a different question, I think if you get arrested you should know WHY you are being arrested but I’m also 18 and an idiot.

Anyway, Dipshit’s main argument as to why Fuckface cannot be arrested is “he was in international waters between America and Canada.” and that he didn’t steal the boat he was on because it had been out of commission for years and was just sort of there. Ok. You just fucked yourself but fine. First off, international water is not a lawless zone. Their is international laws (war crimes, for example) and the laws of the sea have been around since we’ve been able to sail. You MUST fly a flag of a nation on your vessel if you’re in international waters, that flag would need to be the flag of the nation that the ship is registered in. This has been around since at least the 1800s. An American ship lost its flag and was docked in the Netherlands, because the ship couldn’t leave without the flag (I think it may of had something to do with pirates but I could be wrong) the Dutch re a,de the American flag from a description. Although it might not of been an official law or a law of the same name, it was still a rule that was enforced. This is not a new thing. I do not recall seeing an American flag on that ship. Also Fuckface would have been sailing a decommissioned ship that was not up to standards and he definitely doesn’t have the correct certifications to be sailing it. But that’s a bit bit picky and it’s not even the worst part of the argument.

Dear reader, assuming anyone reads this, I would like you to find a map, or a globe. Please find North America and find where America and Canada are. TFA is set in Detroit, Michigan. So the body of water would have to be a Great Lake. Please, turn your attention to that fact that the border between the USA and Canada is a FUCKING LINE. International waters are at least 200 miles out from the shore of the nation, the border between the US and Canada is similar to that of the border between Tennessee and Georgia. That is to say, it’s really fucking thin and was decided on by a line. International waters between America and Canada do not exist in the Great Lakes, you are either in America or you are in Canada. If Fuckface was in Canada then he just illegally crossed a border and was carrying technology, the purpose of this tech is explicitly stated to be for war. So he’s potentially sending technology to terrorist that are based in the country that is arguably America’s closest ally and the country that we trade the most with (some graphs say it’s China, it’s not. We trade the most with Canada.). So not only has Dipshit admitted that Fuckface illegally transporting military grade weapons to our ally, he also admits that Fuckface is a major security threat and potentially a terrorist who is plotting to overthrow the Canadian government. Is that a stretch? Absolutely. But they tell you “anything you say can and will be used against you” for a fucking reason. It is your constitutional right to shut the fuck up and not incriminate yourself. This is no longer a DPD issue, it’s now gonna either be handled by the CIA or FBI and probably the government of Canada. Do you understand the damage that could be done if our biggest trade partner became aware that we let someone who everyone has reasons to believe was transporting weapons illegally go without any sort of push back? It’s one person but that could majorly damage our working relationship with Canada and other countries because it would be international news. We are in a trade agreement with Canada and Mexico that is very good for us. We don’t want to jeopardize that. I don’t think you understand how this could impact our foreign trade. Regardless it’ll make America look incompetent and also an easy target for security breaches.

Fanazon had a good reason to arrest Fuckface, he had multiple ones. Fuckface should have been arrested and then he could finally stop showing up. I hate him and I hate the episodes he’s in because he’s in them. Fuck you headmaster >:(

The Devil You Know Pt 2

TFA Megatron x Reader

• There’s not a lot to do during the day, but wait. Answer Sumdac’s questions and plan. Hope that your kind heart means that you’ll come back to him. That he can manipulate you into doing what Sumdac is too cautious to do. And you’d seemed to buy his story when he’d painted Sumdac the villain holding him against his will. All too happy to believe him.

• Sumdac always works late, so you work later. Filing paperwork and typing up notes. Waiting for him to wear himself out and go home. And as soon as he does, you go investigate around the shelf. It takes longer than you’d imagined to find the mechanism that releases the lock on the shelf and allows you to swing it out of the way. Heart racing, you head down into the hidden lab.

• Hears your steps before you come into sight, your tread so much lighter than the Prof’s. “I knew you wouldn’t abandon me to Sumdac’s cruelty,” he says as soon as he sees you coming down the stairs, smiling slowly. “My dear, new friend.” And you offer him a timid, little smile as you come closer to him to press a small hand against his holding tank. Wants to immediately put you to work repairing his body, but has to remind himself to be patient. To coax, because he can’t risk spooking you off. Needs you too much for that. “Your day went well?” He asks instead.

• Staring up at those red optics watching you, you can’t help but imagine how lonely it must be to be trapped down here. Alone except for when Sumdac comes to torture him. He’d told you all about it the night before, laying out all the horrors visited upon him in a calm, matter of fact tone. Something about that deep voice making you want to trust him, to believe his soft, dignified words. And your heart aches for him. “Not much to talk about. Sumdac doesn’t trust me with anything important,” you say, suspecting he, Megatron he’d introduced himself as, is the reason why Sumdac is so secretive. Not wanting his wrongs to come to light. “Tell me what to do to help you.”

• “Talk first,” he insists and your little hand slides against his tank when you just shake your head. “Do you know how much a kind voice means to me?” He lies, venting softly when you just wait. “Can we at least talk as we work?” And you smile up at him, caving. Such a good little pet you are, so eager to please. To help him. He may just let you live once he’s fully repaired as a reward.

Hear me out: Platonic Sibling Sari and Fixit.

I have no idea why, but they feel like they'd go perfectly together to me. Two little orange guys, both able to switch between yapper and listener, and both with weaponry they didn't even know they had until after hurting their teammate (s).

Also, imagine Sari just slamming some papers down on Prof. Sumdac's desk. "I NEED A LITTLE BROTHER AND I FOUND THE PERFECT ONE CAN WE ADOPT HIM PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE" I imagine her yelling, Fixit trailing behind.
