Hiii author of the amazing fic Be the Death of Me!

I was wondering if you had any songs that you thought fit the fic or the particular characters in it? I'm making a spotify playlist for it because I cannot help myself, but it really only has a handful of songs because I just don't know what fits!

Oooooh VERY good question. This is rough for me.

I’m kinda crazy, and I let music auto-play randomly while I write because the vibes of songs don’t usually affect the vibes of my fics, so relating songs can be tricky! Let me scroll through my recently-listened-to and make a list to the best of my ability. You can veto stuff if you want, you genuinely might know better than I would.

My friend, @probsnotabi recommended the song “All the Time in the World” by Kiltro in relation to BTDOM, and I like it!

“Running with the wolves” by AURORA is great. I dunno i think that might fit.

“What you know” by Two Door Cinema Club is a BANGER and the lyrics fit pretty nicely as well.

Obligatory “Somewhere only we know” by Keane because, once again, banger.

“Iris” by the Goo Goo Dolls is pretty good too. Lot of pretty convenient lyrics.

“Our Last Summer” by ABBA is one i’ve been listening to a lot. Kinda nails some like soft nostalgia vibes that I aimed for with some of my scenes

“All I want” by Kodaline is a sweet, kinda sad song I like.

“The Night We Met” by Lord Huron might by too sad, but certain lyrics definitely slap.

“I Found” by Amber Run is just very scarian in most AUs. Again, convenient lyrics.

“Runaway” by AURORA because i remembered that exists while looking for more songs for this list and i love it. Running and finding pieces of heaven? Are you kidding? Yeah.

“Golden hour” by JVKE kinda works too. I like the vibes more than the lyrics tbh for them but some stuff about spending summers together…. yeah.

“This side of paradise” by Coyote Theory because, i mean, listen to it. Tell me that’s not them.

I’m gonna force myself to stop here, just because I think this list says more about my music taste than I particularly like LMAO! Hopefully one or two of those suggestions is useful!

For fun, I’ll say “Headlock” by Imogen fits pretty decently well for the sequel fic though :)

Looks awesome! I love how the hair points upwards to match the wings/ears The shading on the forehead/nose to match that of the owl also looks quite nice, and it contrasts well with the rest of the face whilst blending it into the hair quite nicely.
