I am finally playing BG3 friends!!

playing two bg3 campaigns at once and figuring out when to play each is like choosing between divorcing parents all over again

Huoyan loves Gale too but is terrible at responding to all the very forward comments - she's an easily flustered one she is

also considering how many of the playable races are small-size, i need scenes where the love interests pick them up to hold them at eye height, just one, please. There is so much potential XD

will be trying to pick what of my 100+gig games i might uninstall in veilguard comes out. red dead online i still sometimes jump into just for dress up reasons bc it's fun. borderlands 3 even though i get the urge to play but i've finished the story. bg3..... im gonna be honest as much as i loved that game i did my full playthrough of it. but it might be on the top of the list :/. it's that one thing of like it has replayability but honestly? not as much as i would expect. i got my 250+ hrs in it and i fully think i'll beat that with veilguard. i just think im gonna have ten times more fun in that game than i ever did in bg3

Doing my second honour mode run (first one I died in the forge... not sure why I even tried) and I've learned a few interesting things, mostly due to me rushing early game

The pros: I discovered that you can loot anything you want from the burning mansion if you are a druid by just becoming a bird and flying so you don't walk on the fire

The cons: I didn't know Mirkon (harpy boy) could die...... the worst part is no one gave a shit :( Also, I accidentally clicked on the wrong lever and yeeted my man Barcus - my boy, my favourite gnome, my bestie in my previous play through, I didn't even get to say hi (forget about goodbye)

Also, and I'm well aware that I'm supposed to be shutting up and writing right now:

I have dipped my toes in the Baldur's Gate. I made Promise. I got to like...the second scene and then paused for now bc I was playing on the Quip's steam streaming on the TV and using her controller, but I prefer to use keyboard controls. Plus the Quip - and this was her own admission - cannot stop herself from backseat gaming and left the room at my fumbling around. 😂 So I'm going to start fresh once I have the money to buy the game on my laptop.

But I am going to play it I swear!

After days of fighting my impulse control I have finally caved in and bought Baldur's Gate 3. Ive also taken a few days off, completely unrelated, but now as soon as that game is finally on my pc? Yeah... Will probably do absolutely nothing from the list of things I was supposed to do on those mentioned days off 🙈

ugh so it's my 1st baldur's gate 3 run, 70 hrs in early act 2, and it took me forever to decide "ok, I'll go for Gale" since my girl is a tav sorcerer and it's cute that they have magic in common, plus i dig a wholesome romance which it seems like he has (plus he's an adorable nerd)

But I started romancing Astarion (for funsies!! he was at neutral and it's maaaybe a lil out of character for my tav (she didn't even let him bite), but I really wanted her to get laid at the party lol)

and now after his constant flirting and profoundly sad undertones I am SO TEMPTED to start a new run (or load really old saves so it's still the same OC 😭) that are 100% going for Astarion approvals so I can see all his cutscenes, not be spoiled online, and have a coherent experience in my head where he gets to be happy and (I assume) in love
