Basically, how do you plan your interconnected stories? Like the ones focused on Vee and Hunter, Camila and Hunter, Hunter, and Willow, etc. Seeing as to how each new Fic takes place at different points in time and successfully keeps consistent with the ones prior.

Do you have like... a whole list of the plots of each story done in chronological order and then you pick one at random to work with? or is there some other strategy that you are using?

oh i have no plans lol theyre not even intentionally connected, you'll certainly find discrepancies if you look for them- like extant species hunter stops her from stabbing him and suggests she drain him instead vs empty water heater where he presses the blade to his throat. but theres a lot of ideas i really like, so i just reuse them! same way im like oh, i love this part of labyrinth runners so i want to to do more than one thing with it, sometimes i have multiple ideas for something i already did, so it just ends up... wiggling on in. i really love the idea of hunter and vee having that trauma bond scene where she tries to kill him and so that just. keeps being canon in all my works because i like it lol.

i have a notepad of fanfic ideas i have for when i feel like writing! some of them are really simple like "hunter makes vee a sweater" or "hunter keeps running away from home" and some are like a full paragraph of explanation of a sequence of events so i dont forget. and then im like okay, let me write hunter making vee a sweater, and then once i start writing that and doing world building ive just already got a lot of ideas i like playing with so i just keep playing with them!

1) Keith (Voltron: Legendary Defender)

Okay I'm- trying not to laugh too hard because oh boy, this show was a complete mess. BUT Keith still stays as one of my favorite characters ever just because no matter how badly I was hurt by vld he'll always be precious to me 💖 He's hotheaded, cool and a lone wolf, but needs affection more than anyone else on the team. He's easy for me to relate to as I am more likely to push someone away than to keep them close just to avoid being hurt as well. His development is amazing tho and I love love him so much 😭 also it might be just that I have a soft spot for emo characters lmao

2) Todoroki Shoto (Boku no Hero Academia)

This just reinforces my statement earlier since Todoroki is pretty emo too :') But in a different way than Keith. If you are a part of bnha fandom you know he's generally a little bit overrated, but I couldn't help falling in love with him at first sight anyway lol His backstory is tragic but he keeps pursuing his dream and damn is he good at it. Also the combo of fire and ice is aesthetic goals. However, what I admire the most about Shoto is probably his loyalty to his friends, his will to fight and sometimes his goofy attitude (even if he probably isn't aware that he's being goofy lol) In conclusion: I love him, let's move on.

3) Uenoyama Ritsuka (Given)

Can I just stop to say how much I love given for a moment? Like I've never seen a bl anime/manga that would portray gay characters so respectfully 😭❤️ Ue is basically me gay panicking, I feel the boy so much :') OH also what's up with gays & guitars bc first given, then why r u and now also 2gether :') (I might be falling in love with this trope help) okay so: Ue is panicking when he starts liking Mafuyu but he handles it so well in a way? He doesn't deny his crush even if he is slow to notice it lol He's straightforward and sometimes a little bit rough around the edges, but even if he's supposed to be "the cool guy" we see him in the most hilarious settings and that just makes me love him all the more 💖 he respects Mafuyu and his boundaries and I want more of that in bl anime please

4) Eiji & Ash (Banana Fish)

Uhhhh this anime,,, I CANNOT choose between Ash and Eiji, I'm gonna forever see them as a pair and that's simply it. Ash is another emo one I would like to say that but he's actually not. He's backstory is heartbreaking and the life he has to live is dangerous and scary. He gets used to this reality where he has no one to rely on and no one to trust but then Eiji appears tearing his walls down and making him finally be able to show his soft and sensitive side to someone. Eiji is like a salve for his wounds and yes, I'm still emotional about it bc their relationship is one of the best developped I've ever seen. Their bond is so strong it's beautiful, they would literally die for each other. It's so apparent that they love each other and care for each other so much (don't mind me crying in the corner)

5) Percy Jackson (Percy Jackson & the Olympians)

PJ technically got me into fantasy/sci-fi in elementary school and it stays at the top of my favorite book series list ever (big props to Uncle Rick 👏) The whole series is funny and I would say pretty light-hearted even tho you know,,, Percy saves the world several times, lol, usual demigod things™. He's lovable. Son of Poseidon so he has seaweeds instead of a brain (or so you thought, he is brilliant at strategic planning and has a charisma to be a great leader), has a very good sense of humor, is loyal and would risk everything for his friends. Also he loves his girlfriend very much and I was crying while reading the House of Hades but no one needed to know that oh well. I'm also gonna mention Nico de Angelo here, since he fell in love with Percy (didn't we all tho) and was the first gay character I saw portrayed in the book and oh do I love him 😭💖

6) 707 (Mystic Messenger)

Was I losing sleep over this game? I was. Do I regret anything? Absolutely not. I think my choices are pretty boring tho, since Seven is literally everyone's favorite but oh boy there's a reason for that. Apart from being a talented hacker who knows too much (and I think is cautious of us the most at the start) he has a lovely happy-go-lucky personality composed of all the lame jokes, questions "have you eaten already" and anxiety (another emo one). He's that type of a character who will always try to make you laugh but you never know what's going on inside his head. He's mysterious and we don't get to know him well till his route so pretty much till the end of the game lol. Also he loves his brother, phd pepper, honey buddha chips and Elizabeth 3rd the most in this entire world and I love him for that

7) Evan Hansen (Dear Evan Hansen)

ANOTHER EMO ONE okay but hear me out Evan has social anxiety and its portrayal is almost too real for me. He makes a big oopsie which at the start seems like a little innocent lie but then snowballs to enormous sizes. He gains everything in this bargain, a best (dead) friend, a caring mother, a father, a girlfriend even - and then everything falls apart since it all is built on one fat lie. He makes a lot of mistakes and then some more but you get it and you feel for him, and you cry with him and you're happy for him. And when all of this is over you're glad that he's still there trying his best, taking it one day at a time. And sidenote: Ben Platt's voice is angelic and I love him as Evan 💖💖💖

8) Isak (SKAM)

Another gay panicking one. I'm starting to realize there's a set of traits that I particularly like in fictional characters lol But ye, when I was watching skam ofc it was the third season which gripped me the most and kept me on the edge, bc yet again Isak taking an "are you gay" test was way too real for me. He makes a lot of mistakes along the way of figuring out his sexuality and sometimes stuff with Evan becomes really messy (for both of them) but he stays with him nevertheless ❤️ Skam is literally so good in its portrayal of the characters :') Anyways: alt er love 💖

9) Viktor & Yuuri (Yuri on Ice)

Em, another one that I absolutely can't break up to just one bc how could I? Yuri on ice got me into skating ❤️ I went to an ice rink for the first time bc of this anime and I almost died but now look at me actually finishing my first three months of ice skating training and watching real life figure skating competitions :') Little did I know then. But they're not only my favourites bc of that, I genuinely love the development of their relationship from fan - idol through skater - couch to lovers and history makers in the end. I love how Yuuri is a ball of insecurities and how Viktor manages to reassure him. I love how Viktor fell in love with drunk Yuuri clinging to him. I love how at first Yuuri wasn't able to get too close to Viktor without getting flustered and it changes so drastically to them basically always holding onto each other. I love how Viktor was stuck with no inspiration but then Yuuri came and turned his world upside down. I love how they support and respect each other. I could probably go on into eternity like that and Yuri on ice isn't even the best anime I've ever seen but it's certainly my favourite one ❤️

10) Tutor (WHY R U)

I can't believe I'm so obsessed with thai dramas rn and I'm only gonna include Tor on this list smh He's mental attitude inspires me. He's able to hold so much and appears totally unfazed even if he's barely holding on inside. He's hardworking and doesn't want others to pity him since he can manage it all just fine. He has a kind heart, he's a wonderful friend (especially to Hwa, he always listens to her, gives her pieces of advise, supports her and tries to cheer her up). He never forgets to say thank you when he genuinely feels grateful. But as we've seen he also is passionate and when he loves he LOVES. Also he's the biggest tease to Fighter and I love him for that :') I am so satisfied just by seeing him happy, please do not change that whyru gods 🙏

OKAY FUCKER ALL THE QUESTIONS FROM THAT ASK MEME THE LGBT ONE

1. Identity and pronouns.

I'm agenderfluid and they/them pronouns. My sexuality is aroflux and asexual.

2. How did you discover your sexuality?

Pretty much at 14 was like "idk i don't relate to everyone else i don't find celebrities hot or sex remotely something i want. If i could reproduce without sex i would. Oh. I'll just call myself asexual, like a sponge!" (Which asexual is incidentally what the creators of Spongebob were going for, fun facts. Spongebob is ace rights.)

3. Have you experienced being misgendered? How do you overcome it?

Mmmm I am constantly misgendered bc I'm nonbinary and live in a binary society and the way I compartmentalize it is basically just dressing how I want and not making an attempt to pass as anything tbh. The only time I feel misgendered is when someone knows my pronouns and doesn't use them anymore tbh. So basically. Letting go of how I want to be perceived helped. I will say tho, I refuse to come out to my dad bc he won't respect it and it'll be more painful hearing him misgender me knowing how I identify, but. That's certainly a privilege I have since I'm not transitioning. (ATM at least.)

4. Who was the first person you told? How did they react?

I technically didn't come out as ace. My ex-best friend knew bc I talked about it, but neither of us knew it was an identity. So the transition upon finding the label was virtually nonexistent and all of my friends were LGBTQ as well so it wasn't stressful or shocking. It helps that around the time I discovered the label I'd met two friends who were ace and felt the same way I did. My experience with my asexuality is definitely the model that should be the norm with the community and what we as a society should aim for.

As for my gender I'd made comments in the past that I wished I could just be genderless and it really kind of sat with me when my ex-best friend came out as trans bc I was like "Oh? You don't have to be the gender you are at birth?" Belial from Angel Sanctuary was a character that resonated with me at the time, and this was right around the time I made my ace friends. It wasn't until a year later that I discovered the nb community and one friend who was genderfluid that I decided to start trying different pronouns. And basically I came out as questioning and transitioned to nb without a formal declaration, which I also feel should be the goal for society.

I was at a con with my best friend at the time who was trans and he'd come out with my now ex-best friend while they were dating. And I was really anxious bc I felt like ppl would assume I was a transtrender and shit, and my friend said something about gender and I kind of awkwadly implied I might not identify as female and he was really great about it! He was like "If you wanna talk about it or try different pronouns you can." :D

5. Describe what it was like coming out.

I pretty much did this im question 4 hehehe.

6. If you're out, how did ppl react?

I'm not out to family, that I know of. They found my facebook which has my identity listed in my about, so I'm in limbo with them where none of us talk about it so idk if they register it as an LGBTQ thing or not.

My friends were all supportive! It helps that I have like no cishet friends lmao.

I also came out to my class on TDOV two years ago for a project where we step outside our comfort zone. I'm luckily in the social work program which has social justive built into the tenants of the profession so it was pretty positive! People still misgendered me after and were more concerned with "but i'm scared of ppl getting angry at me what should i do to talk about this with them" which. 9__9 Not surprising. But there was a mom whose kid and her kid's partner are both genderfluid and bigender so it was a good experience and I had an ally which made me comfortable in sharing it in the first place.

7. What is one question you hate ppl asking about your sexuality?

Inevitably when I say I'm ace, non-aces assume I have no interest in dating which. Way to conflate being aroace with ace and ignore that there are aros and aces who want relationships. That's my biggest pet peeve.

8. Describe the style of clothing you often wear.

I wear flannels and ripped jeans or shorts mainly. I basically dress like a butch lesbian. I'll wear dresses and stuff but I do not like dressing femme and prefer to offset softer things with hard things. Like. When I wear dresses I have to wear clunky combat boots with them or have short hair or something.

9. Who are your favorite LGBTQ+ ships?

Hmmm. Depends if you mean canon or not. Canon, it's probably FigAyda from D20 and Catradora from She-ra. Shion/Nezumi from No.6 is also one of my faves. There's also Chie and Ai from Virgin's Empire. Blupjeans from The Adventure Zone and JonMartin from The Magnus Archives.

As for Not Confirmed ships, I like Flick/CJ from Animal Crossing, Tsuna/Enma from Katekyo Hitman Reborn, uhhh. 10. What does makeup mean to you? Do you wear any?

I hate how I look with make up it makes me dysphoric. But to me makeup is a good expressive outlet and bomb as hell, so when I do wanna wear makeup, I prefer wearing eyeliner and lipstick (esp in black or blue or green or purple) and glitter.

11. Do you experience dysphoria? How does it affect you?

I experience what I refer to as Silhouette Dysphoria a lot. I experience chest dysphoria but a lot of times it's less about me having them at all and me not liking how I look with them. The same goes for my hips and overall shape. Hence silhouette. I also experience genital dysphoria to a lesser degree, and when I do it's less hating my genitals bc they should be different but more just having any at all. Luckily I was born with internal genitalia so I don't have to think about it as much. Social dysphoria I also experience, but I've talked about that already.

How I deal with it is binding and stuff.

12. What is the stupidest thing you've heard said about the LGBTQ+ community?

Hmm. The ppl who genuinely argue that accepting the community means you'll be forced to accept pedophilia or beastiality. Like. Lmao no?

13. Favorite thing about the community?

I just love how great it feels to be in it tbh. It can be so positive and loving and just genuinely make you feel good about yourself.

15. Have you ever been to your city's pride event?

No, but I went to Pride in Des Moines!!! IT WAS GREAT!

I was in a relationship for a while with a friend of mine and it was wonderful tbh. We met in a server and started talkng more, and started out as qpps then became partners and like we broke up, but I still enjoyed the experience and wouldn't go back in time and stop it from happening. Bit of a work rant. Sadly, it is not of the ‘so I think my trash boss might possibly be fucking her daughter’s boyfriend’ variety, so you do not need to sit down (though you are certainly welcome to do so). This is just me being irritated about people not pulling their weight.

So, a little relevant information: I work with a team of three people. Right now we’re handling a merge project, which means we go through and look at duplicate pairs of patients to determine whether or not they’re true duplicates, or if they were marked as such in error. Sometimes it’s really two totally different people, sometimes it’s just that we don’t have enough information to merge the charts. If, however, all the demographics match and we determine that both charts are in fact the same person, then we have to merge them, which is a whole long, fairly complex process across multiple systems; I’m not going to get into it, because you really don’t need to know how we do it, and unless you use the specific programs we do, it’s not going to make sense anyway. We have a quota we’re expected to meet, which is 10 merges in a day, and 40 uniques (uniques meaning we’ve determined the charts don’t match, and then we have to mark them as unique records). This is absolutely, totally doable; I complete way more uniques in a day (I’m not sure how many, because we can’t really track that the way we do our merges), and I average about 13 or so merges, but 14 isn’t unusual, and I’ve done as many as 15. I have been doing this for about a month and a half, to give you some context; one of the other women I work with (the one who actually trained me) has been doing it for about three years, and the other woman at least a year or so. Needless to say, they are both a lot more advanced (or should be) than me.

Both of these women work mostly from home. My trainer does come in sometimes for the socialisation and also to walk me through some more complex stuff that she needs to show me (she’s taking time off in a few weeks or so because her daughter is having twins, and so she’s been training me to take over her work lists), but mostly we talk via IM or sometimes on the phone. The other woman never comes in, unless we have a meeting.

When my co-worker was training me, she made some comments that made it clear that she was pretty frustrated with our other teammate because she doesn’t do nearly the amount of work that she should; she’s also really slow about getting back to someone if they have a question about something work-related, and she makes a lot of mistakes. On training days, we were actually doing quite a few more merges than her. We were really cracking along pretty good considering the fact that I was being talked through everything, but she still should have been able to outpace us. Once they let me free in the wilds to do merging on my own without someone sitting next to me holding my hand, I was pretty much right from the get-go meeting and even exceeding our daily expected quota. The lady who trained me made a couple of remarks about how it was nice to have someone who did as much work as her. Also, I’ll mention that in the first couple of weeks, I caught a couple of mistakes this other lady had made--pretty big ones. Also to the second power, my trainer has been doing audits on all our work for the last few weeks or so, and she’s caught several other issues with this lady’s merges, and says that it’s pretty typical of her to make fairly serious mistakes. I don’t know what her percentage of accuracy is, but I’m going to bet it’s not great, because from what I’ve observed over the last few weeks, three merges a day seems to be a pretty typical number for her; today it looks like she only did two. So probably in a week she’s doing close to what I do in a day, and messing up on several of them. I suspect the work from home aspect might be somewhat contributing to this; my co-worker said she was more productive when she actually worked in the office (I don’t know if she was excessively productive, or just not as bad, and it sounds like she probably still made quite a few mistakes). So I don’t know what she’s doing, but she has to be taking advantage of the fact that she’s working from home to screw around. Otherwise I can’t fathom how you could do so little, or why she seems to be away from her computer so often.

 Fast forward to Tuesday: my trainer comes in to show me how to make up a worksheet that she emails out daily. We also sit and catch up a bit (I like her a lot; not only is she a good co-worker in the sense that she’s super helpful and gets a shit ton of work done, she takes the piss out of me a bit, and I like that in a person). She goes to talk to our boss about some issues that cropped up while she was out of the office (our manager has been on vacation for the past couple of weeks) that she wasn’t trained to deal with, and comes back to let me know what our manager said. The merge project is enough under control that our manager wants one person to handle the daily worklists: our co-worker. She wants me and my trainer to start training on some aspects of the actual billing cycle (she actually was going to start me on it this week, but apparently they were having a big issue and it wasn’t a good time to start training someone new, so I’m supposed to start on it next week). So we’re not really going to be merging anymore; however, neither of us want to forget how to do it, so we decided we should handle the audits so we’re still familiar with the process, which she’s fine with. 

I told my trainer that I hoped this other girl picked up the pace a LOT if she’s the only one doing it, because while it is possible for one person to handle the worklists at this point...it’s not if they’re going at her pace. (I should mention that we have several daily worklists we pull from; we split up pairs alphabetically. These are the lists that need to be complete daily, and then if you’re done early, which I always am, and I know my trainer always is, then you go to another historical worklist that has literally thousands of patients on it. So there’s still plenty of work for three people, but that last worklist isn’t a priority; the daily ones are what we really need to focus on, and one person could easily handle those in a day.) My trainer said she hadn’t wanted to be negative because the manager doesn’t like that, but she did tell her that our co-worker’s work output isn’t quite what it should be, especially if she’s going to be taking over. So the manager is going to talk to her about taking over the merge project while my trainer and I move onto other things, and I’m curious how that will go; my trainer said she’s not going to like having to do it on her own. 

Our manager later stopped by and talked to me about it all as well, and said that she wants me doing some posting stuff because they’re behind, and also because she thinks that it’ll suit me, because it’s a lot of information getting thrown at you at once, and it’s fast-paced. (I already have a reputation at the office for picking stuff up very quickly, so now people expect me to actually...do things. Bleargh.) She said she wants this co-worker on merges because she seems to really like working from home, and that environment sort of suits her (and it does in a way--she’s a big homebody and not very social, and clearly very shy; she seems like a perfectly nice girl, but full disclosure, incompetence reeeaaallly annoys me, so I’m a little soured on her already). I didn’t mention that it doesn’t suit her actual work output, because I don’t want to be That Bitch already about a co-worker, and I’m not going to be working on the same project as her for very much longer anyway. But today on my drive home I was thinking about how much it agitated me that she only did two merges today. My boss pulled me away to work on some other stuff for the rest of the day around 10:30 this morning, and I had already done seven damn merges. SHE DID TWO. IN ONE ENTIRE DAY. WTF ARE YOU DOING??? It’s giving me flashbacks to school when you had to do group projects and there’s always that one fucking asshole that doesn’t do fucking shit but you all get the same grade anyway.

Anyway, this was way too long for me to essentially be like, “Lol my co-worker doesn’t do jack shit but other than that shit’s good at work”, but you guys know how I be.

I’ve read all the ones I just listed and I know for sure those are good, but these next ones I haven’t read. most are on my list to read and seem pretty good from skimming the writing a bit and the plots all seem interesting, or they’re ones I know other people love, but I can’t be 100% sure since I haven’t read them
