Lore and S/I Ask Game
Thank you, Rainy!
🎨 Palette: Paint a picture with your words! What is a scene featuring yourself/self-insert that would fit into the source of your F/O? It can be anything!
Since first impressions matter and Wednesday canon has a very distinct style, I'm gonna talk about how my S/I would be introduced!
So, when Wednesday and her family are talking to Larissa, Morticia suggests they go and meet her new roommate together before they go. But Larissa interrupts them to say that there's a distant cousin of the Addamses working at Nevermore who'll probably want to see them all before they leave, "a Miss Peyton Ravenna", and Gomez and Morticia get excited at the prospect of seeing a lesser-known cousin again after so many years. Larissa smiles and tells Wednesday that could be a little bit of home away from home.
On their way through the halls of Nevermore to my office (with Pugsley having joined them since he'd met me back then too), Morticia asks if Wednesday remembers spending time with me at my aunt's wedding to Uncle Fester. Wednesday says that she remembers my taste in video games being almost violent enough for her tastes, but not much else since it was so long ago. "You were such a little tormenta back then," says Gomez, smiling fondly.
They stop when they get to the office and see RGB lighting spilling out from under the door, a sight that makes Wednesday's eye twitch. Larissa knocks and then opens without waiting for my reply. A fork from where I'd been eating at my desk comes flying and nearly hits her in the forehead before a rainbow-tinged psychic aura stops it midair. I lower it to the ground with my powers in wide-eyed horror, getting up from where I was sitting and apologizing profusely, explaining that it was a bug in my code and I should've caught it before I ran it but I was distracted and—
Gomez and Morticia start clapping at my near-bullseye, with Gomez teasing me for pulling my punch at the last second like that and Larissa stepping off to the side in barely-masked exasperation. I stop my rambling when I see them. I tell them what a nice surprise it is to see them again after so long, smiling nervously and still a bit rattled from what just happened. They invite me in for a hug and I reluctantly approach.
While Pugsley and I start having a conversation in the background about the gaming posters on the walls, Wednesday takes one look at those and the cat-shaped knickknacks on my desk and remarks that the only thing this "home away from home" has in common with the real thing is how suffocating it is. I overhear and look dejected, saying "I'm sorry" and clasp my hands together nervously. Larissa admonishes her for the remark, but Morticia reassures her that some time away and exposure to new people could be just what she needs to get out of her creative rut and get some fresh blood on her hands, so to speak.
"Just as long as there's no more rainbows. I think this room could give me hives," says Wednesday. Cue her setting foot in Enid's dorm room for the first time.
(If it wasn't obvious from the way I write them all, I'm making it so the pressure for Wednesday to emulate Morticia comes primarily from Nevermore itself and specifically Larissa than from her family. I feel like that makes more sense for the family dynamic and makes it clearer that any of those feelings aimed at her parents are just a transient byproduct of Wednesday being a teenager. Which was always my personal interpretation, anyhow, but it definitely could've been made clearer in canon!)
☄️Comet: What was a moment where you/your self-insert really shined? This can be a badass moment, a moment where you felt important to the overall lore, or just a really cool and important moment!
This one isn't nearly as well-developed as the last one, since only Season 1 exists right now and I'm gonna try to fit this into whatever comes next, but I love the idea of there being a big confrontation and fight scene between me and Tyler! Both because watching a powerful psychic fight a Hyde instead of being ambushed like Rowan was would be sick, but also because of how inevitable and resonant to the story's themes such a fight would be.
I see my S/I's relationship with Tyler as a pretty strained one for various reasons relating back to Laurel. From my perspective throughout Season 1, he was just the barista at the Weathervane. Whenever I'd go there with other faculty to get a donut, they'd always say it seemed like he's looking at me funny, which I'd never notice until they did. It's not until the night of the blood moon that I regain my memories of what happened to me all those times I "lost track of time" that semester, leaving me a wreck who feels betrayed by the woman I once knew as Marilyn and just wondering why.
From his perspective, here's this outcast woman who Laurel is coddling for reasons he doesn't understand. He's the one who had to undergo torture and painful transformations to unlock his destructive potential, while I just get an injection in the neck to control me every so often. He's the one who kills for Laurel and gathers the organs, while I'm just an errand girl, when he knows that my powers could be a lot more destructive than he is! He's the one who has to deal with the memories of what he's done and learn to like them, while I can live in blissful ignorance. He's the one who's just a pawn in Laurel's game while I clearly mean more to her than he ever will, no matter how much she positions herself as a surrogate mother to him. And in the end, he takes the fall and gets sent away for what he's done, while I get off easy. How could he not resent me for all that, even if none of it was my fault?
So yeah. To him, I represent weakness. In the heart of both Laurel for wanting to spare me the fate of the rest of the outcasts at Nevermore, and outcast society in general for demonizing Hydes like his mother while failing to recognize the monsters like me they allow to walk free. He doesn't just see me as an obstacle to whatever his goals are after escaping, but a parasite that needs to be squashed.
Meanwhile, I'm forced to fight him off to save my own life and probably those of my family and students, in a flashy light show where my powers are pushed further than they'd ever been up to that point. But as I do, I look at him and I also see where society has failed. Both he and Laurel were abandoned by a place that has a thin veneer of accepting anyone who doesn't belong, and now they're lashing out for it, and I can't bring myself to blame either. After all, haven't I been rejected by the other outcasts in my own way, too?
It's the weight of that realization, combined with my overexertion of my powers in that fight, that pushes me into a psychic meltdown that threatens to level Jericho.
And it's Laurel returning to me, reaching out even as the pressure from my powers threatens to rip her apart and the shrapnel digs into her skin until it bleeds, offering to share that burden as a fellow outcast-among-outcasts even if it means abandoning everything her cultish family raised her to believe, that saves everyone.
🌈Rainbow: What was the happiest moment in your lore for you/your self-insert? Who all shared that happiness with you in canon?
I'm gonna be sappy and say it's my wedding day with Laurel. I haven't decided when it'll be or the details of how it'll happen, but… Fuck.
It's the ultimate culmination of both of us feeling loved and lovable in a way we never allowed ourselves before, the ultimate act of transgression against the concept of normies and outcasts existing in separate worlds. Neither of us ever expected this day to come, and yet here we are, and it's real. No more masks, no more feeling separated by our pasts, no more loneliness. Just true devotion to each other that we'll carry in our hearts for the rest of our lives.
And the Addamses and many of my past students are there to share in our joy! And Morticia cries. It's canon:
Even though I picked the wedding day for this ask, the eventual births of Ollie and Marigold and the day we adopt Felix into our little family are just as happy, too! But I know even less about how those would happen and just know that we'd be overwhelmed with emotion, so yeah!
#fitting that this is the first ask I'm trying out these rainbow dividers on lol#peyton got mail!#ask game answers#peyton ravenna#laurelton#ectoplasmer

I wrote a Thing. It’s extremely long. I’d prefer it not be reblogged; I wrote this for my own catharsis and would prefer it not be circulated, bc of Reasons.
I changed my mind, okay to reblog. <3
Under a cut for (extreme, did I mention?) length.
So I got about 12 minutes of sleep last night, as you do, and around 3am or so I found myself - out of sheer curiosity - going down a meta hole of Ragnarok discourse, trying to figure out where this "satisfying redemption arc" for Loki happened. (I mean, there's a lot of things I would like to figure out, but I started there.) Because I could.
Basically I was looking for meta that went into detail about how Loki was redeemed in a satisfactory way. The ‘satisfactory’ is an important word here bc there is a redemption arc in the film, in that Loki starts off the film as an antagonist (kinda) to Thor and he ends the film as an ally to Thor, standing at Thor's side. In that sense, yes, there's a redemption arc. I didn't find much (and I had no idea how much people just despise Ragnarok "antis" [I really dislike that word] but that's another topic [that I don't particularly want to get into, tbh]) but I did find some. I read what I could find, and I read it open-mindedly, and overall I came away feeling like, okay, there are some valid points being made here and I can kinda see where they're coming from.
But it was a bit (a lot) like -- flat. Idk. The best comparison I can think of is that it’s like if a literature class read, I don't know, The Yellow Wallpaper for an assignment, and some of the students came away from it feeling like it was a creepy story about a woman slowly driving herself insane, and the other students came away from it incensed at the oppression and infantilization of women in the late 19th century -
- and neither side is wrong, but the former is a very surface-level reading and the latter isn't (bc it stems from looking at why she drives herself insane, why she was prescribed 'rest' in the first place, the context of what women could and couldn't do back then, etc; basically, a bit more work has to go into it).
[Note: I am not disparaging the quality of The Yellow Wallpaper. At all. It’s just the first relatively well-known story that popped into my head.]
In this sense, I can see the argument for Loki's redemption arc, but I don't think it's a very good argument. Not invalid, but not great.
I mean, for example, I think the most consistent argument I found variations of re: Loki's redemption is that Ragnarok shows Loki finally taking responsibility for his bad behaviour and misdeeds. This includes recognizing that his actions were fueled from a place of self-hatred and a desire to self-destruct in addition to bringing destruction on others. That he probably feels awkward and regretful of these things and doesn't know how to act around Thor, but he figures it out by the end, and decides that returning to Asgard is the best way to show that he's ready to make amends. His act of bringing the Statesman to Asgard is an apology. He allies himself with Thor and ends up in a better place, both narratively (united with Thor once again) and mentally (having taken responsibility and made amends for his past).
And setting aside that he had already made amends by sacrificing his life in TDW (and also setting aside that the argument is made that Loki redeems himself in IW by sacrificing himself to Thanos but if that's the case, wouldn't that imply that he hadn't achieved redemption in Ragnarok or else there would be no need to achieve it again in IW? Or, if you think he did achieve redemption in Ragnarok, then what the fuck did he give his life in IW for? What was his motivation there, and why did the narrative not make it clearer? I digress.)
- setting aside those two factors, I think this is a very fair argument. Loki is fueled by self-hatred, and he does want to self-destruct, and he does want to inflict that pain on others as well (particularly Thor). No lies detected here.
However, I also need to know where that self-hatred and desire for destruction (toward himself and others) comes from and for that, we need to go back to Thor 1.
Thor 1.
Loki starts Thor 1 out as "a clenched fist with hair," to borrow a quote from the Haunting of Hill House (that I tucked away in my mental box of Lovely Things bc it says so much so very simply). He's very used to bottling everything up, pushing it down; he slinks around behind the scenes, pulling the strings to this plot or that. He's "always been one for mischief," but the narrative implies that the coronation incident is the first time Loki's done anything truly terrible. And it all immediately pretty much goes to shit, so Loki spends the rest of the movie frantically juggling all these moving pieces while trying to seem as if he's got it all under control, every step of the way. That's how I view his actions.
But I always come back to that quote where Kenneth Branaugh tells Tom, of the scene in the vault, "This is where the thin steel rod that's been holding your mind together snaps." In other words this is where Loki discovering he's Jotun is just one thing too many. He can't take it. But though the rod snaps, his descent isn't a nosedive. It's a tumble. As the story progresses, the clenched fist starts to loosen, the muscles are flexed in unfamiliar ways (that feel kinda good, after being stiff for so long), and it culminates with the hand opening completely and shaking itself out. All of that repression, that self-hatred, that rage and jealousy just explodes so that, by the time the bifrost scene happens, Loki's already hit bottom. It's not just about proving his worthiness to Odin. He wants to hurt Thor, too; he, essentially, throws a tantrum. (That's right, I said tantrum.)
(Note: The word 'tantrum’ has negative connotations bc we normally equate it with a toddler stamping their feet and screaming in the aisle when their parent won't buy them the toy they want. But in itself, the word tantrum isn't infantalizing. It's an "emotional outburst, an uncontrolled explosion of anger and frustration" [paraphrasing from dictionary.com]. That's exactly what happens here [and why Tom called Loki's actions a massive tantrum, but people took that to mean Tom agreed it was childish whereas I doubt Tom meant it that way]).
He's been pushed past his limit, and he does bad things. He does really shitty things. He hurts Thor, he hurts his family. I'm pretty sure he knows this all along so this isn't, like, some revelation further down the line that "hey, those things I did were probably kinda bad." He got the memo already.
Ragnarok
Fast forward to Ragnarok, and we're introduced to a version of Loki who's had 4ish years to sit with everything that's happened. To sit with it and not do much else. The rawness of it has faded, and now it seems as though it's just become a thing, like when you move through life aware of your childhood traumas and have more or less just accepted them (and you probably share a lot of really funny depression memes on Facebook, which is kinda the equivalent of Loki's play, but that's probably just me).
Loki has, more or less, chilled out. He seems more bored than anything else; he's been masquerading as Odin for longer than he ever planned or intended to, so he's more or less ended up hanging out, letting Asgard mind its own business, and entertaining himself with silly plays. This is the version that starts out the movie as an antagonist to Thor - a version that is, arguably, in a much different place [and is a much milder threat] than the version who originally did those Bad Things.
And of course Thor is still mad at him, and of course they're going to butt heads, because that's what they do (and Thor's grievances are genuine, I’ll add, bc it's not really his fault he assumed Loki faked his death, nor can he be blamed for being pissed about Odin).
One argument framed this version of Loki as being a person who is facing the awkwardness of coming out of a dark place, which is fair. If we're going to frame his actions in Thor 1 as a tantrum, then Ragnarok would be the part where the toddler has been taken home, possibly has had some lunch and a juice box, and is now watching cartoons. They're over the tantrum, and would probably feel pretty silly about it if they weren't, yknow, toddlers. They probably can't remember why they even wanted that toy so badly. If they're a little older and self-aware, they might even be embarrassed for having melted down.
Like the word tantrum, this feeling isn't a thing limited to toddlers. I know I've had a few epic meltdowns as a grown ass adult, and I know I always feel deeply embarrassed afterwards - like, want to crawl into a hole and die. I've said things I can't take back. Adolescents and teenagers throw tantrums, mentally ill people throw tantrums, adults throw tantrums (I mean, my god, look at all the videos of Karens having screaming meltdowns - screaming! - over having to wear masks in order to shop at stores). Humans throw tantrums. And usually, after the feelings have been let out and the tantrum has passed, humans feel pretty regretful and awkward and embarrassed about whatever they did and said in the midst of their meltdown.
I get all of that and agree it's valid and that Loki probably feels it. By the time Ragnarok happens, Loki's had some time to reflect and think hmm, yeah, probably could've handled that one a lot better. The argument further goes that in order to navigate this awkward period, Loki must come to terms with what he's done, acknowledge that some things can't be unsaid or undone, and begin to make amends. Supposedly, some people feel that Loki becomes a better person because he does "own" everything he did wrong and, even though he feels like a jackass (paraphrasing), he sets that aside to become a become a better person by choosing to help Thor and Asgard at the end.
Thus, the overall arc goes like this. Loki, Thor's jealous little brother,
throws a tantrum of epic proportions bc Reasons
continues to act badly and make things even worse (Avengers)
has to face consequences for his actions (prison sentence)
ends up with a stretch of time in which he's free to contemplate and chill out
feels embarrassed and awkward about how he's behaved
sees an opportunity to make up for it and decides to take it
helps Thor, saves the day, and ends the film a better person.
Redemption achieved.
None of this is wrong. The film supports it. It's a fair interpretation. But it leaves. out. so. much.
To circle all the way back around Loki being "a clenched fist with hair," and his actions stemming from his self-hatred, you have to ask - how did he get that way? He didn't end up with all this self-hatred on accident. Generally, one isn't born despising themselves, it's a learned behavior. (I realize chemical imbalances are a thing, obviously, as I have Mental Shit myself, but for argument's sake I'm assuming that's not the case with Loki [at this point in time]).
Where did Loki learn it? From his family, from his surroundings, from his culture. We see examples of these microaggressions in the first, like, twenty minutes of the movie - a guard openly laughs at Loki's magic after Thor makes a joke about it (the tone of the conversation implies that Thor "jokes" like this often) and though Loki does the snake thing, the guard faces no real consequences. Thor doesn't acknowledge that anything went amiss. Not much later, on their way to Jotunheim, Loki's barely gotten two words out to Heimdall before Thor cuts him off, steps in front of him, and takes charge. Loki doesn't look annoyed at this; he looks resigned.
Then, for absolutely no reason at all, Volstagg decides to make a jab at Loki ("silver tongue turned to lead?") just because he can. The ease with which he makes this comment and the way that no one else blinks an eye at it implies that this isn't out of the norm. And Loki doesn't react, not really. In the deleted version, he delivers a particularly nasty comeback but he delivers it under his breath, without intending Volstagg to hear it. In the final version, he simply says nothing, though his expression can be read as hurt or stung. Either way, the audience sees an example of Loki being walked all over by Thor and his friends and bottling up his reactions instead of standing up for himself.
Microaggressions matter. They are mentally and emotionally damaging. They hurt. The implication that this is not unusual treatment for Loki means that Loki's probably gone through this for most of his life. It's like the equivalent of being, I don't know, twenty two and you're the friend who has to walk behind the others when the sidewalk isn't wide enough, and it's been that way since the first day of kindergarten. At this point, you're used to it, but that doesn't make it hurt any less when the jabs come seemingly out of nowhere, for no reason other than to make you feel bad.
(I personally identify a lot with this bc I experienced passive bullying in social settings for years. I was the 'doesn't fit on the sidewalk' friend; I hung around with people who'd pretend to be my friend and would be more or less nice to my face, but would laugh at me and make fun of me behind my back for whatever reasons. And often there'd be the random jabs at me, things that would come out of nowhere to smack me in the face, followed by the fake laugh and “just kidding!" so that I couldn't even get upset without being made to feel like I was overreacting and couldn't take a joke. I'd deal with this socially, particularly in middle school when girls are their most vicious, and then I'd go home and, because I was the only girl with a lot of brothers and because boys are mean and because I am who I am, the dynamic was that my brothers would just endlessly roast me to my face and sometimes it was a "just kidding!" thing, where I was the only one not laughing. But that’s beside the point; my point is that microaggressions, passive bullying, and consistent invalidation are harmful and that shit stays with you into adulthood.)
So, yes, Loki needs to be held responsible for his misdeeds, and it's valid to say that he recognizes those misdeeds and wants to make amends. I have never disagreed with that. But the problem with this interpretation is that it lets every single other character who contributed to Loki's self-hatred and mental breakdown (let's just call a spade a spade here, that's what it was; he was broken psychologically) get off scot-free.
First of all,
Odin is not held accountable for instilling in the princes a mentality of Asgard first, everyone is beneath us but Jotuns are benath us the most, they are literal monsters. He is not held accountable for pitting his sons against one another (even if it was unintentional, he still did it) with "you were both born to be kings but only one of you can rule" being the general tone of their upbringing. He's not held accountable for his favoritism toward Thor.
Frigga is not held accountable for deferring to Odin both in supporting the above things and in keeping the truth of Loki's origins a secret while doing nothing to discourage the "monsters" narrative.
Thor is not held accountable for his own tendency of taking Loki for granted (he assumes Loki will come to Jotunheim, he oversteps Loki constantly, “know your place,” etc.. He grants his implicit permission for Loki to be treated as the sidewalk friend in their “group,” a group which is loyal to and takes their cues from Thor as Thor continues to do nothing in his brother's defense).
[Note: Wanting Thor to be held accountable for things he's done wrong isn't vilifying him. Acknowledging that Thor benefited from Odin's favoritism and his own place as Crown Prince doesn't negate Thor also being raised in an abusive environment. I don't think anyone's saying that or, if they have, it's not something I agree with.]
Furthermore,
Odin is not held accountable for his cruelty in disowning Loki (”your birthright was to die” is never going to be forgotten, speaking of people saying things that can't be unsaid or taken back) and in sentencing Loki to a severe prison sentence (life! only bc Frigga wouldn't let him execute Loki) for crimes that are no worse than what Odin himself has committed (around which the entire plot of Ragnarok revolves! Colonialism (and subjugation) is wrong is, like, a major theme [that people rush to praise, even] here).
Thor is also never held accountable for not trying harder to understand what made Loki snap (fair enough, he didn't have a ton of time after returning from Earth, but certainly he had lots of time to sit around reflecting while Loki was being tortured by Thanos for a year). He knows Loki is "not himself" and "beyond reason" and accepts it at face value; he questions it once and then lets it go. He's fine with assuming Loki's just lost his mind, and isn't that a shame. (I realize I'm simplifying Thor's emotions but my point is that Thor could've tried harder to figure out that Loki was being influenced and/or not acting completely autonomously.)
Thor is also never held accountable for - if not facing consequences for his own slaughter of Jotuns - then at least addressing why Loki can't kill an entire race even though Thor tried to do that, like, two days ago. (Granted, it’s difficult to understand how Thor got from Point A ("let's finish them together, Father!") to Point B (this is wrong!), but that failing belongs to Thor 1 (which is not, by the way, a perfect movie).
The interpretation that Loki is fully redeemed because he took responsibility for his actions, returned to Asgard, and allied himself with Thor to save their people is all well and good - but, why is Loki the only one here who has to take responsibility for their actions?
What about all the loose threads in his story?
For example, how did he get from:
Point A (believing himself a literal monster, having a complete mental breakdown, getting tortured and further traumatized after that, etc)
to
Point B (Hey, yknow what would be fun? I'm going to write and direct a play about how I heroically died to save Thor and Jane, and I'll go ahead and have Odin say he accepts me and has always loved me. I'm going to do these things because Odin never said this in real life and instead of acknowledging my sacrifice, Thor left my body in the dirt, so someone has to validate what I've done right and that someone might as well be me. And hey, while I'm at it, I'm going to control the narrative on revealing myself as Jotun to Asgard, instead of living in fear of it being found out, and I'm going to do it in a way that they have to sympathize with me and revere me in death, bc they never bothered to do so when I was alive. And Matt Damon should play me, also.)
to
Point C (Yeah, I guess I feel kinda awkward about that whole tantrum thing, also I should help Thor and support him being king.)
?
The answers to these questions are handwaved and the audience takes that to mean they don't matter. Furthermore, framing Loki's redemption around an act of service (more or less) to Thor makes Loki's redemption about Thor. Does Loki make this decision for the sake of Thor and of Asgard, or does he make it for himself? It's not super clear to me, and I think arguments can be made for both. Which, again, is fine, but - whatever.
If we're going to collectively agree, as a fandom, that Loki is complex, that he's morally gray, that he's worthy of redemption and therefore arguably a good person who's done bad things, then why is it asking too much to have it acknowledged that Thor (also a good person who's done bad things) played a part in Loki's downfall and has shit to apologize for, too? Bc one can only assume the reason is that you're taking a very gray concept and making it black and white by saying Loki has to apologize and make amends because he is the villain, and Thor doesn't because he is the hero (and it's his movie). And it's lazy.
This is where the crux of the issue lands. There's more than one valid interpretation, yes. And no two people (or groups of people, or whatever) are going to consume and therefore interpret or analyze the source material in the same way. I think I saw a post recently about how studies have been done on this, in fact. But, there is a lot going on under the surface that tends to get overlooked when exploring Loki's redemption arc in Ragnarok, as far as I can see, and that’s why I don’t consider it satisfactory.
[I did read similar arguments regarding other issues that are often debated ('debated'), like Loki's magic and/or being underpowered, whether or not Loki's betrayal of Thor was the natural outcome of the situation on Sakaar or not, whether Thor actually gets closure with Odin [if he does, how does he reconcile the father he's idolized with the imperialistic conqueror he's discovered? Why doesn't he hold Odin responsible for covering up Hela's existence and the threat of her return, especially as he knew he was nearing the end of his life? Is Thor's "I'm not as strong as you" meant to imply that he acknowledges those shortcomings of Odin's and that he's okay with them, or that he's just overlooking them, or is he not okay with them but didn't have the chance to get into it bc he was in the middle of battle? T'Challa confronted his father on his wrongdoings in Black Panther; could Thor not have had at least one line that was confrontational enough to establish where he stands as opposed to this gray middle? Can someone explain to me how any of this equates to Thor gaining closure? Please?) but obviously I'm not going to go into all of them (well, I tried not to), bc this mammoth post has gone on long enough (I may not even post this tbh)]
- but my overall point to this entire thing is that when I say I'm critical of Ragnarok bc it's flawed, that Loki's arc was neither complete nor satisfactory, that many things went unaddressed and, due to all of these things, I do not think Ragnarok is a very good movie nor a very cohesive movie, this is where I'm coming from. I have not seen anything to change my mind to the contrary.
But I am not saying that anyone satisfied with it is wrong, or shouldn't have the interpretation that they do. I'm not vilifying Thor in order to lift Loki up, just acknowledging that Thor is arguably just as flawed as Loki without the stigma of being Designated Villain. I think a lot of these arguments get overlooked or dismissed, and that's fine, but it doesn't make the people who do engage with them hateful, or bitter, or trying to excuse Loki's crimes, or feeling like redemption means that Loki's crimes should be erased rather than reconciled.
And sure, yes, perhaps we are expecting too much and exploring all of these themes (or wanting them explored) means that somehow we think it should be Loki's movie (we don't). Loki is a supporting character, but he's still a character. And the movie itself doesn't have to delve into all these things - no one's saying that. (At least, I'm not.) We just want acknowledgement, from the narrative, that this stuff was an Issue.
This could have been accomplished with -
Some dialogue closer to the novelization (and original script), like Thor and Loki both acknowledging the harm they've done one another and their kingdom due to their Feels.
A single line of Thor confronting Odin, or even asking "Why?"
A narrative acknowledgement that Odin did both Thor and Loki dirty (”I love you, my sons” isn't an apology, because it doesn't acknowledge either that there's been wrong-doing or express regret for having done the wrong in the first place).
A little bit more nuance in the way Loki treats his own past (ie, instead of flippantly telling the story of his suicide attempt, maybe - if it must be flippant - talk about getting blasted in the face with Hawkeye's arrow or sailing through to Svartalfheim [And in that moment, I sang ta-daaaa!]) or whatever.
I recognize that wanting full, in-depth exploration on all of these issues regarding a supporting character is probably too much to ask or expect - but, I also feel like, if you're going to be professionally writing a narrative (or rewriting/improvising, as it were), it's not too much to ask that a little more care be taken in regards to all of the layers that have contributed to said supporting character's downfall and subsequent redemption arc. I don't think that's an unreasonable thing to want.
And maybe if there had been more nuance and continuity in how these things were portrayed on screen (ie, if TW had actually done as good a job as his stans think he did), the fandom wouldn't have divided and conquered itself over which "version" of the same character is more valid and whether or not the film did its best to close out a trilogy (not start a new one), to the point where everyone in this fandom space makes navigating it feel like walking through a minefield.
But, I mean

Voyagers
Genre: Fluff/Headcanon
Pairing: Yoongi x Reader (Female)
Summary: A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join BTS on a Bon Voyage adventure leads to once-in-a-lifetime love.
Warning(s): Some mentions of physical intimacy, but nothing detailed or graphic.
Author’s Note: So... this is it. This is the end. And as promised, it is looooong. You might want to find some snacks and a comfy spot before we get started. I probably could have broken this up into 3 or 4 more parts but, here it is. Please note, my SMAU Sentimental and my drabble Love both fit into this part, and I’ve added links where they should be read.
I can’t believe how far we’ve come! This story is my baby, and I’m so immensely grateful for all the love and support it has received! As relieved as I am to finish it, it is hard to let go, so it’s entirely possible that I may write some bonus chapters in the future. Although, I tried to fit so much into this epilogue, I’m not sure what’s left to say! So anyway, for the last time, please, PLEASE enjoy! 💕

Epilogue
Leaving New Zealand
Yoongi promised he’d take care of everything, and he meant it
You learned that maybe an hour after he snuck out of your room, when one of the producers stopped you as you were lugging your suitcase down the hall
You recognized him as the same producer who’d requested you spend less time with Yoongi, and you worried you were in trouble
But to your astonishment, he apologized for suggesting anything, saying it was never his intention to make things difficult for you and he meant no disrespect
He then informed you that he personally made all the arrangements for you to fly to Korea with the boys instead of returning home
And as he bowed and wished you all the best, you realized Yoongi must have spoken with him
You were touched that he kept his word, and made sure to thank him as soon as you found him out in the main area of the house
All the members and the crew were bustling about the living room and kitchen, hurrying to pack up and clear out
But you dared to give Yoongi a quick, grateful hug, and a blush spread across his cheeks
Hoseok noticed and froze in his tracks, shooting you a look
So you guessed it was as good a time as any to let the other boys know you’d be joining them on their flight home
(Though you’d have to wait until you were all alone to tell them exactly why)
They were all happy and excited, but none more than Hoseok
He scooped you up in his arms and twirled you around, squealing
And when he set you back down, he whispered in your ear that he wanted to hear all the details later
With a laugh, you promised to tell him everything as soon as you got the chance
Not much later, everyone was all loaded up, and you made your way to the airport
Leaving New Zealand was bittersweet
Your week there with the boys had been one of the best of your life
But you were excited to have another whole week with Yoongi
And you were particularly looking forward to more privacy
Though you knew it wouldn’t be much more
The Bangtan boys were constantly in the public eye
And that meant that - even though filming for Bon Voyage was over - you and Yoongi still had to maintain some distance when you weren’t alone
That much was apparent the moment you arrived at the airport in Christchurch
Yoongi had held your hand the whole drive, but released it before exiting the vehicle and didn’t take it again
But you still sat next to each other on the plane, and enjoyed talking and watching movies together during the long flight
And everything about it just felt so comfortable and normal and… right
That is, until you ultimately arrived at the Incheon airport, and the reality of dating an idol became even clearer
Dozens of paparazzi and fans were gathered, obviously aware that BTS was due to return that day
The crowd fluttered to life as soon as your group came around the corner, cameras flashing and girls calling out
And when they caught sight of you with the members, they became even more frantic
But Yoongi subtly kept you close behind him, shielding you from the mob as best he could
And the other boys formed a circle around you until you made it out of the airport and into a waiting car
Then when you were safely behind tinted windows, Yoongi finally took your hand again
And he expressed his regret that you had to endure that scene, seeming worried that you’d have second thoughts
But you reassured him that you could handle the craziness, and promised him that he was worth it to you
He was visibly relieved when you said that
With a smile and a squeeze of your hand, he assured you he would look out for you
And promised that you were worth it to him, too
First Night in Seoul
When you arrived at their luxury apartment in the heart of Seoul, Yoongi and the boys gave you the grand tour first thing
It was a little surreal to actually be there when you’d only ever seen it in videos
But you noticed how much more relaxed the boys seemed the moment they walked in the door, and could tell how happy they were to be home
And you felt instantly at home, too
Which was a good thing, because Yoongi informed you that you would be staying at their apartment with them all week
You would have been more than happy with a hotel room, you told him, your mouth hanging open
You would have even taken a bunk in a hostel, as long as you were close to him
But Yoongi insisted, saying you could stay in his room, and he’d sleep on the couch
Or you could share his bed, he mumbled so only you could hear, if that was what you were most comfortable with
With a suppressed smile, you told him you’d think about it, and you resumed your tour of the apartment feeling unreasonably flushed
After you’d seen the whole apartment, the boys ordered dinner (Jimin’s treat, of course)
And as everyone tucked in, Namjoon raised his glass
He proposed a celebratory toast, to a successful Bon Voyage, to returning home, to you - their new friend
And to Yoongi-hyung falling in love
The other members cheered enthusiastically in agreement, tapping their glasses together
Which caused you to grin, and Yoongi to groan
Namjoon, Hoseok, Taehyung, and Jungkook wasted no time recounting their version of events, filling Jin and Jimin in on anything they might have missed
And you happily supplied any further details they lacked, like the fact that you and Yoongi were now officially together
All the boys teased Yoongi mercilessly for being so soft
And Yoongi was a grumbling, blushing mess all the while
But you could feel the love behind their mocking
And they made sure you knew - despite their joking - how truly happy they all were for both of you
By the time dinner was over, everyone was exhausted and ready to call it a night
You hadn’t given a lot of thought to the sleeping arrangements since Yoongi first mentioned them
But as he made up his bed for you with clean sheets and extra pillows, you knew you didn’t want to sleep in his room without him
And when you asked him to stay, Yoongi needed no convincing
He quickly slipped beneath the covers with you, hugging you tightly against his body and pressing kisses to the back of your neck and into your hair
And that was how you spent the whole night, curled up together, sleeping blissfully
And though you’d be lying if you said the idea of doing something other than sleeping never crossed your mind…
Just being able to spend the night together without any fear of being caught in the morning was enough
For the time being, anway
Boyfriend/Girlfriend
Your extra week with Yoongi in Korea, like your week in New Zealand, was one you’d never forget
The boys had full schedules, consisting of everything from rehearsals to filming to recording to appearances, but Yoongi continued to keep his promise
He arranged for you to accompany them to everything, so you were able to spend a lot of time all together
And you naturally continued to grow closer and closer to all of the boys
Especially Hoseok
He remained your biggest ally and most trusted confidant, and you quickly became best friends
Those hours of downtime in dressing rooms were some of the most fun of your week
They were also some of the longest, as you spent many of them waiting on the boys to fulfil their responsibilities
But their staff members were very accommodating - having been instructed to respect and protect you - and you even made friends with a few of the the stylists
When the guys didn’t have obligations, Yoongi spent every waking (and non-waking) moment with you
On the second day of your stay, Yoongi gave you a private tour of Genius Lab
At first, he seemed shy and self-conscious about showing you such an important part of his life
But when he sat in front of his computer, Yoongi casually pulled you down to sit with him, reaching his arms around you and resting his chin on your shoulder as he played you a couple of beats
And next thing you knew you were turned around on his lap, exchanging heated kisses as Yoongi leaned back in his office chair
Eventually, you forced yourselves to leave the studio
But not before Yoongi gave you the passcode, and told you to feel free to use it anytime
Which you did, every chance you got
You loved to see him in his element, and were content to just sit and listen to him work for hours
You’d thumb through his Ikea catalogs while you listened, nodding along to his beats
And you often brought him coffee or lunch, to keep his energy up
On the third day, you found time to play some one-on-one basketball
Which Yoongi let you win
And you let him think he let you win
You also cooked dinner together a few nights
Stole a nap together more than once
Binge-watched The Lord of the Rings together
And spent every night secure in each other’s arms
Yoongi may have been worried he couldn’t be the kind of boyfriend you wanted
But he was
He absolutely was
Completely unlike his cold, unfeeling, disinterested, tough-guy persona, he was nothing but soft and caring with you
Just as you’d always known he would be
And the first time he referred to you as his girlfriend - on the fourth day, when he told Jin to stop bothering you with his dad jokes - it made your heart skip a beat
You still had to be mindful in public and around cameras, but it wasn’t as bad as you thought, and it got easier every day
In fact, Yoongi found it remarkable how well - and how quickly - you were able to adapt to his chaotic life
Last Night in Seoul
Before you knew it, it was your final night in Korea
As you as laid together in Yoongi’s bed - after having shared your last meal with all the members - your head and heart were both fit to burst
You couldn’t bear the thought of saying goodbye to Yoongi in the morning
Especially without telling him you loved him
And when Yoongi kissed you slowly and deeply...
After his eyes caressed your face as he told you how breathtakingly beautiful you are…
You were overcome by the desire to show him - physically - how much you loved him
Your hands fumbled to grasp his shirt, and pull it up over his head
But Yoongi stopped you as soon as he realized your intent
“Not like this,” He said
Not rushed
Not urgent
Not desperate
As much as he wanted you - and he wanted you very much - he didn’t want to take this step just because you were leaving the next day and felt like you were out of time
He wanted to wait until the moment was right
When he could take his time with you, and treat you the way you deserved to be treated
You couldn’t help but be disappointed by his response
But deep down you appreciated how much he respected you, and you knew he was right
So you only stayed up talking that night
And as hard as it was, you refrained from ever blurting out, “I love you”
Because you wanted to wait for the right moment, too
“Home” At Last
Leaving Korea the next morning was one of the hardest things you ever had to do
But you managed to save your tears until after you hugged all the boys, kissed Yoongi, and climbed into the car that would take you to the airport
Before you left, Yoongi bought a return ticket for you to visit again the next month
And you promised each other to keep in constant contact until then
But as the driver pulled away from the boys’ apartment complex and you waved to each other until you were out of sight…
You felt like you were leaving half of yourself behind
Sentimental
When you were finally home, it seemed as though you had been gone much longer than 2 weeks
And, if you were honest, it didn’t really feel like home anymore
You tried to return to your normal routine, to immerse yourself in your work that you loved
But now that you knew what it was like to have Yoongi in your life, normal life felt…
Empty without him
You kept in touch and communicated through texts and calls everyday
Any spare minute Yoongi could find in his hectic schedule, he would video chat with you
He always made time for you, and always made an effort to be open and vulnerable with you
And though he rarely said it in so many words, you could tell he missed you just as much as you missed him
Hearing Yoongi’s deep voice and seeing his handsome face always put you at ease
But no call was ever long enough
And after one particularly brief conversation, you idly began researching how to apply for a visa
You also hated not saying “I love you” every time you said goodbye
But you didn’t want the first time you told Yoongi to be over the phone
So you made up your mind that the next time you saw him, you would tell him no matter what
Firsts
Finally, after what felt like a never-ending month, you found yourself back in Yoongi’s studio
And in his arms - where you’d been longing to be - as he played a new song for you
It was softer and more melodic than his usual style
He sang along to the music, his voice smooth and low, and you quickly realized…
It was a love song
And when the last notes faded out, he admitted that he wrote it for you
With tears brimming in your eyes, you couldn’t contain yourself any longer
Your words spilling out of you, you told Yoongi you loved the song
And you loved him
So, so much
Yoongi wiped your tears with a soft smirk
That’s what he was going to say
You stole the words right out of his mouth, he teased you
You chuckled, apologizing, but Yoongi shook his head
And as he kissed you tenderly, he said he loved you
So, so much
He’d been falling for you all along, he told you, but when you left last month…
He immediately noticed how empty his studio, his bed, his life, and his heart, felt without you
And that was when he realized he was completely in love with you
It was impossible to describe how you felt hearing Yoongi speak those 3 little words
Finally being able to say those 3 little words to him felt almost as good
And you looked forward to saying - and hearing - them often from then on out
For the rest of the day, Yoongi could hardly keep his hands off of you
And later that night, he did more than say “I love you”
Though he did say it, over and over
But he also showed you how much he loved you
Physically, for the first time
And contrary to most fanfiction you’d come across, Yoongi was not rough
In reality, he was gentle and sweet and soft and caring and loving and patient and giving and...
Perfect
Everything about that night was perfect
And more than worth the wait
Yoongi marveled at and worshiped every inch of you
He made you feel so loved
And beautiful
And good
More than once
You didn’t take a single moment of the experience for granted
You were mindful to appreciate every detail, to admire everything about Yoongi
And you made sure he felt just as loved - and as good - as you did
That visit was a turning point for your relationship
Yoongi had made it clear - in more ways than one - that any fear he may have felt about falling in love was long gone
And when you returned home, your mind was made up
So you secretly began applying for a work visa in earnest
Because seeing the man you loved so infrequently was only getting harder and harder to bear
Bon Voyage On Air
The next time you visited Yoongi was another month later
And your season of Bon Voyage premiered that same week
So with plenty of snacks and drinks, you gathered in the dorm living room with all the boys and watched the first episode together
Seeing the footage of your incredible journey brought back so many feelings and memories, and it was so fun to reminisce with everyone
But you noticed the editors made suggestive comments every time you and Yoongi were on screen together
Nothing obvious, just subtle little remarks about how cute you were around each other and how fond you seemed to be of one another
You hoped it wouldn’t be enough to make viewers suspect anything about the true nature of your relationship
But the other members noticed, and it was enough for them to tease you and Yoongi
A few weeks later, after several episodes of Bon Voyage had aired, it came to your attention that ARMY had picked up on the chemistry between you and Yoongi
Speculation as to whether you were dating was all over the internet
A lot of fans eagerly shipped you together
As Yoongi had predicted, they found you very likeable, and it was easy to see how well you got along
But there were also plenty of “fans” who had some not very nice things to say about you
Yoongi comforted you when you saw some of the negative comments, and begged you to not worry about any of it
He assured you that things would blow over
And if they didn’t…
Well, you’d deal with that when the time came
The Holiday Season
The next month, BTS had several appearances scheduled in the U.S., so Yoongi arranged for you to meet up with them
One event was a Christmas concert, and you agreed to exchange gifts afterwards because you wouldn't be able to be together Christmas day
You gave Yoongi an authentic chef’s coat with his name embroidered, and a certificate for a couples cooking class
Both of which he moaned and grumbled about
But you knew by the way his eyes twinkled that he was touched, and that he secretly loved his gift
Yoongi gave you a gorgeous, one-of-a-kind light fixture he’d commissioned from a local artist in Seoul
And when you opened the box, you found yourself doing something you never imagined you would do:
Crying over a lamp
Yoongi looked scared when he saw the tears running down your cheeks
But when you managed to articulate that they were happy tears and you loved your present, he grinned and you pulled him into a crushing hug
The week between Christmas and New Year’s, you received word that your work visa had finally been approved
BTS was going to perform in Times Square on New Year’s Eve, so you planned tell Yoongi the good news then
You had to wait behind the scenes while he and the boys were onstage during the countdown
But Yoongi kissed you the moment they returned to the dressing room
And when you told him that you were moving to Korea, he was so stunned he didn’t know what to say
The other members reacted so enthusiastically to your announcement - jumping, dancing, and shouting - that you wouldn’t have heard Yoongi speak anyway
But you could see the tears gathering in his eyes, and they - along with his gummy smile - told you everything he couldn’t say
Moving to South Korea
Over the next month, you happily packed up your entire life and moved to Seoul
Though you didn’t have an apartment lined up yet, you did manage to find an amazing job opportunity with a local interior design company
But all of the guys urged you to not to wait any longer, because they’d be releasing their new album soon and would be busier than ever
They were only too happy to let you stay with them until you found your own place
You didn’t want to take advantage of their hospitality but, once again, Yoongi promised he’d take care of everything
It was only when you were standing inside an empty but beautiful, luxury apartment in an upscale neighborhood not far from the dorms, that you realized how he intended to keep his promise
Yoongi explained that even though all 7 boys chose to still live together, several of them actually owned their own homes
They kept them mostly as investments, but they occasionally came in handy
Like now, when you needed a place to live
The apartment you were in was Yoongi’s private suite
And he wanted you to have it
You tried to decline, saying he was being way too generous and you couldn’t accept
But he insisted
He wanted you close by, he wanted you to be somewhere safe
And he liked the idea of sharing his home with you
But if it would make you feel better, he smirked, he could always charge you rent
You were still hesitant
But then he showed you around the place, pointing out his favorite architectural details, telling you about his plans for its design, and asking you for your professional opinion...
And he was just so cute and eager you couldn’t refuse
So you moved in right away, and you and Yoongi thoroughly enjoyed working together to pick all the paint colors, the furniture, the decorations, and - especially - the light fixtures
As always, you were a great team
Your Christmas present was the perfect final, finishing touch to your new home
And though Yoongi maintained his main residence with the other members…
He probably spent more time at your place than at the dorms
Isolated Together
The next few months were hectic, for you and the boys
You were adjusting to living and working in a new city, and they were gone a lot to promote their new album (which you loved)
But you were so proud of them, and remained their biggest fan, always cheering them on and supporting them
And Yoongi never failed to make time for you
Whether it was by sharing a cup of coffee, a meal, or the couch while you watched a show
Yoongi always took the time to remind you how much he loved you
So you never once regretted your decision to move to Korea
Then a global pandemic turned life upside down
All the members were deeply disappointed when they had to cancel their world tour, and you were heartbroken for them
You knew better than most how hard they’d been preparing for it
But they stayed positive, and took advantage of the unexpected extra time, relaxing and trying new hobbies while in isolation
You were able to work remotely during that time, and stayed at the dorms with Yoongi and the boys
And you cherished the opportunity to be together even more often
You spent a lot of time in Yoongi’s studio as he put the finishing touches on his mixtape
But you also enjoyed several leisure activities together
Like painting
And playing video games (You dominated Mario Kart, but he was the surprising champion of Just Dance)
You even convinced Yoongi to sew a few throw pillows with you for your couch
Then as the release date for Yoongi’s mixtape approached, you accompanied him to the set of the music video for his first single
And your jaw dropped when you saw him in his costume
He looked amazing
Amazingly hot
Because he’d dyed his hair black a few days prior and you missed his light-colored locks, seeing Yoongi in a long blonde wig was particularly…
Exciting
And you may have bribed the costume department to let him keep the outfit
Your relationship progressed a lot in those months, and you grew to understand and respect each other on a deeper level
Though some couples naturally got on each other’s nerves the more time they spent together, the opposite was true for you and Yoongi
Sure, you disagreed occasionally, but you never fought
Yoongi was infinitely patient with you, and often told you that you had calming effect on him
Your personalities were just so compatible, and things only got easier and better the longer you were together
And as it became increasingly apparent how well both of you - together, as a couple - worked…
It became harder and harder to imagine your lives without one another
The Secret’s Out
After Yoongi’s mixtape was released and saw much success, you were ridiculously proud of him
You blasted his songs every chance you got, and constantly showered him with praise
But with so much media attention focused on Yoongi, ARMY once again started getting suspicious about your relationship
Rumors about you moving to Korea had been circulating for a while
And despite taking extra care to stay off camera whenever one of the boys went live, it somehow got out that you were in quarantine with them
What’s more, it wasn’t hard for ARMY to notice how happy Yoongi had been
Eventually, it got to the point where management felt like they needed to be involved
The higher ups at Big Hit wanted to deny everything, and were sure they could convince the public that you were just a friend - to all the members
But after some long talks and careful consideration, you and Yoongi decided that you didn’t want to deny or hide anything anymore
You knew how you felt about each other, and you knew it wasn’t going to change
You were in each other’s lives for good
So the company released a statement confirming your relationship, saying you’d been together since Bon Voyage wrapped
And the internet exploded
A K-Pop idol publicly dating someone was highly unprecedented
But to your relief, the majority of ARMYs were supportive
And they advocated that if Yoongi was happy, everyone should be happy for him
Of course there were still others who felt you didn’t deserve him, or that Yoongi should leave the group
But together you were able to disregard any hate, and just enjoy being with each other openly
A little while later, after the initial shock of your relationship announcement had worn off, the Bon Voyage producers contacted you
Due to the ongoing pandemic, they’d made some adjustments to the show’s format
They’d decided to film in an isolated location in Korea instead of traveling outside the country, and they changed the name to In the Soop
And since you and Yoongi were public now, and because your inclusion in the previous season had been such a success…
They invited you to join BTS for another adventure
Love

CLAIRVOYANCE (Intuitive Sight)
MASTERPOST & HELPFUL INFO HERE <–
Clairvoyance is the ability to see things which are hidden to the naked eye and it is used in a variety of ways to obtain insight beyond the ordinary five senses.
Clairvoyance has been used a lot in pop culture and is usually portrayed in a negative way to represent ultimate evil. This is the one ability that makes for the ‘perfect’ horror and paranormal type film, specifically geared towards scaring the viewer. But, being able to detect spirits, know stuff about the people around us and see events that are likely to occur are so beneficial and so incredibly common that it really only takes a little practice to wake it back up again. With the gift of Clairvoyance, we can achieve a clearer understanding of the process that leads us to new inventions, innovations and inspiration that helps us in our everyday lives.
Cool stuff, so how is this helpful? Clairvoyance helps us to see the past, present and future. It can aid us in finding things that we’ve lost... heck, it can help find missing people! It helps in mind, and spiritual readings as well as spiritual counselling and spiritual communication. Clairvoyance can be beneficial in medical diagnosis, exorcisms, scientific exploration, invention and the exploration of this world and others. It can help us develop our art, music and literature skills making clairvoyance not so scary after all, huh?
In the beginning, it can help to close your eyes and use your mind’s eye rather than expecting to see things straight away with your physical eyes because it takes practice just like anything else. Allow yourself to believe that what you see and experience are real and get rid of the idea that all spirit energy wants to harm you. Please, release and heal whatever fears or trauma you have around seeing spirits; you don’t expect every person you meet to harm you, why would you assume the same of Spirits? They just want a lil’ love, help and attention too.
Some clairvoyants see things in their mind’s eye (kind of like dreaming or daydreaming) and some can see with their physical eyes. Both of these ways are possible, but it’s more common to see in the mind’s eye when you’re starting out. You may see a lot more flashes of colour, random symbols, eyes, or experience more frequent deja vu but, over time, with practice and dedication, you can easily scry, see auras, the essence of a spirit and also any Spirit Guides or Angels that are around.
Please be aware that it’s okay to be confused about what you see in the beginning. To interpret a vision or symbol, you need to use your personal intuition and frame of reference. They may not always be obvious messages either and may come in brief flashes, they may appear photographic and show only a second in time or they may seem to unreel a series of past events like a movie scene. For example, a vision of a car crash doesn’t necessarily mean that you or a loved one will be in one, instead, it may just mean that a clash of opinions is bound to arise. Be calm, be aware of your surroundings and use your words wisely throughout the day to avoid conflict.
So, how do you know that it’s not ‘all in your head’? Well, we test it! You've probably experienced clairvoyance yourself in the past, a thousand times over and may not have even known it. Have you ever had a vivid dream which later comes true in some way? Have you lost something only to have an image of the place where you left it suddenly flash into your mind? As you're driving, you predict what the car in front of you is going to do and then a few minutes later what you'd mentally imagined happens? Maybe you suddenly see an image of a friend in your head and then right after, you receive a text from them. Or perhaps you’ve been sitting in a crowded room and experience Deja vu in such a strong way that you are able to predict what is going to happen next. If any of these situations seems familiar to you, it may be a good idea to meditate on your natural clairvoyant ability. Seriously, meditation is important for clairvoyants, you should take time each day to relax and clear your mind of the daily stresses that occur. A clear mind will allow you to open yourself up to new possibilities.
I can’t stress how important it is to really believe what you see. Believe that clairvoyance can work for you and understand that every single person is capable of utilizing this skill to better understand their life path. Keep your mind open to the possibility that you too can possess this skill, trust in your instincts and let everything go. Be sure that your mind and chakras are open and that your energy is flowing freely because, in order to tap into our extrasensory perceptions, our body, minds and souls should be clear and open to receive insight. If you want some fun little activities to perform in order to further develop this ability you could try to visualize who is calling/texting you before you look at your phone. You can try to predict what someone around you is going to do or say next (for example: what type of coffee the person in front of you will order). Or you could have a friend place a few cups down and an item under a single cup, using visualisation and focus, try to figure out which cup it is under.
Develop your potential by practicing each day. Use your will, concentration, persistence, self-awareness, self-restraint, energy, focus, intuition and love. Be courageous and over time, you will see all.
