Melban - obviously, this one goes kinda goes without saying for me. i absolutely love the dynamic between these two, and their shared history as well. they are both very much sick in the head and have so many issues they each struggle with, but at the same time they cant take anything seriously. there are countless interactions between them which are just so so homoerotic, if not just really sweet. these two quite literally will go to hell and back for the other without a second thought, and i adore that (say its bros bein dude all you want, you cant convince me they didnt fuck in purgatory and on many other occasions)

Elilaine - theyre like melban but less punchy, more of the "normal about expressing love for the other". i know there arent many deep interactions between Elizabeth and Elaine, but i just, once again, think that they have a really adorable dynamic and would just make for the most lovely couple (with equally deceivingly harmless looks, but very much the potential to whoop ass if need be)

Geldris - these two, despite canonically being just a straight couple, are one of the most queer duos in the damn series,,, they just are, man, idk. big fan of them both being very gothic and stuff, and obviously im a sucker for how much zeldris buckles at the knees for anything gelda does,,, love them

Hendreyfus - old,,, old man yaoi my beloved (i just think theyre really adorable and are like and old married couple - very cutes!!) (also yeah old men)

the other courtiers aren't thematically relevant so there's no real reason for Reise to interact with them. however I love them and wanna find an excuse for them to pop up occasionally

so. Danny and Lucio are off doing mercenary work. theyre leaving Reise in the care of people like Julian, Asra, Nadia, Morga, etc- it's not safe for them on the battlefield. and hey it takes a village anyway. they take turns. anyway. so. if Reise is going to the palace every so often. like. Nadia is the worst with kids, remember?

so I could see her having servants watch Reise instead while she's busy you know. running the city? maybe this is even Portia's job- Portia alone seems to be taking care of all the animals, whats one more 😭 but because of this, like Camio, Reise kind of runs amok in the palace. resulting in them walking into court meetings occasionally

Valdemar often skips these meetings, so, they're mostly seeing Vulgora, Vlastomil, Volta, and Valerius- I've already went into Vulgora a bit and I can't think of much for Valerius so what I really wanna talk about right now is Volta and Vlastomil

now Vlastomil... does not want anything to do with Reise. he finds humans completely revolting and gets overstimulated if he has to deal with too many at once

BUT! but. Vlastomil also brightens right up whenever he is given the opportunity to talk about worms on multiple occasions. and Reise is quite curious. and probably running around with pockets full of worms. so I could see them potentially connecting, there. Reise would be happy to listen to him blab on and bring him new specimens from the garden

I could see Volta being pretty sweet, too. she finds things like squirrels and spiders to be very cute and loves hanging out with them, why not a kid you know. she doesn't seem generally malicious unless you get in the way of her food? and I don't see why Reise would? if they visited Voltas estate for whatever reason they would be asking plenty of questions and Volta would be happy to give them a tour of everything she's collected. so I could see them working out too. but I think it would also be funny if Volta had a few close call Tarrare moments

Systober Day 11 - More Formed Alter - Vivien (They/It/Paint) Welp, you've seen a lot of posts from me in Systober so far, so how about a self-portrait? I'm probably not the most formed alter in the system, but Terry put my name forward for this day's prompt because of all the progress I've made since showing up. Our system was a lot smaller back then; we weren't even close to finding everyone, but Terry helped me build enough trust in the system to leave the front. Chaos accepted me, despite me showing up as a copy of the person it used to be in its source before things, uh, happened. And Martin went out of his way to take care of me every single day in our Inner World, until my depression symptoms started to subside. Since then? I got rid of the family name I hated and took Martin's last name, making him my adopted brother, and we live together. Chaos and I consider each other fraternal twins, and I'm an "auncle" to several of our Littles. I changed form twice, fused with two of my best friends (Gerry and Nox), and now I'm happier and more stable than I've ever been. Hard to believe I'm still here; not just living, but learning to thrive again. But here's to a future that has all of our parts in it. - Vivien

In chapter 2, you will be able to set what Bug 'sees you as'. In addition to the typical parent/auncle choices, there's a spot where you can input any term you want. So 'mumaunt' etc is totally doable!

As far as how your character speaks to other Deerbourners, MC will refer to Bug as daughter (since you're there undercover... or so you think). How you picture her in reality will come up in convos with Maria during Chapter 3, as well.

Hunter is fantastic, and his route is probably the least messy of all of them, plot-wise. Romance-wise, he's pretty solid, too. Jordan is a very special case... They are Super Messy plot-wise, but remarkably chill romance-wise... But chill can be a double-edged sword.

I needed to do a quick chart of the frimomen/miku/rikka/etc family tree dynamic please hear me out (will write what it says and explain reasonings/specific dynamics I like the idea of under the read more)

also for those unfamiliar with vsynth character fandom stuff: I want to preface this with none of this is something I consider to be canon, vocal synth lore in general is very malleable so if you ever see me post something like a cover/fan art/etc of something that goes wildly against any of this it's probably for a different interpretation/someone else's vision. ok thank you just wanted to put that disclaimer lol. these are like barbie dolls to me.

I haven't decided who miku's mom is but I imagine she's frimo's sister... note that frimotan is the same person as frimomen in the caloid universe so it can't be her unfortunately. anyway, this makes frimomen miku's auncle. I thought it'd be funny if ryuto's (aka gachapoid) full name was hatsune ryuto and he's miku's younger brother that everyone thinks is annoying. idk why it's just funny af to me.

anyway, I don't know who rikka's other parent is, I think it's funny to not have an explanation and for rikka to start questioning if frimo is being serious about her being created through osmosis. she thinks ryuto is annoying and has an unreasonable amount of beef towards a 12 year old, but she actually was kind of close to miku but after miku's idol career took off, they grew apart because rikka got super jealous of her, but miku adores her and doesn't realize the animosity she holds towards her. miku is a pretty meek (haha) person in caloid and actually pretty humble and shy off stage compared to her idol demeanor and rikka's jealousy comes from the fact that she has a harder time being as cool despite being a little older than miku (they're both 16 in this universe, but since rikka's birthday is in may she considers herself older than miku despite being only a couple months older lol). rikka in general is just going through a weird rebellious teenage phase though so she's got a lot going on.

now for sourin and frimomen... I imagine them to be around the same age-ish and have known each other for like about 25ish years and are fairly close and maybe there's some gay undertones idk. I haven't really thought too much yet about the reasoning behind this, but I imagine that even though sourin and genbu aren't related, sourin pretty much raised him and so by extension genbu grew up around frimomen and later on rikka who came around later (he's my age, 23 in caloidverse, so he was about 8 when she was born). rikka and genbu are rather close and ig technically also count as like found family siblings but I think it's funnier to say they're more equivalent to when there's only two gay cousins at the junction and they constantly try to one up each other. they fight a lot but care about each other genuinely

some smaller notes

genbu is a trans man to me; I think takehiro is his chosen name when he came out, and genbu is a childhood nickname that sourin or another family member gave him because I imagine he's obsessed with black tortoises/the myth about them (I can't really fit the cool spirit stuff in my caloidverse unfortunately so I have to go about it differently...) anyway most everyone calls him takehiro but the family/his close friends mostly refer to him as genbu. he probably also uses it as an alias for like singing activities or smth

similarly I think sourin's friends around his age call him kirin, but most everyone else refers to him as sourin. rikka calls him uncle sourin.

sourin and frimo have yaoiful undertones but I think it's more like friends who kiss. idk. why fight over which ikeoji is better when they can just make out.

I only included characters that are directly related/grew up together and excluded things like romantic escapades. but if we did that, teto and frimo are exes and after the time that teto and frimo dated when rikka was 14, rikka and teto remained close and consider each other family.

I think genbu and ryuusei are close friends who have been pining for like ten years and have not confessed to each other sorry I love slow burns

rikka is in a polycule with karin and chifuyu

kiyoteru and frimo are also close friends/exes but not nearly with the same level of connection as frimo/sourin, but rikka sees kiyoteru as a trusted member of frimo's circle/kinda like a family member in a way, and by extension since she's met yuuki a lot due to kiyoteru being her music teacher, she sees yuuki as an adorable little sister and pampers/spoils her (which yuuki is starting to feel like she's getting too old for and is annoyed by it since she's almost ten)

this also means miku does the same to yuki.

I think yuki has beat up ryuto before successfully.

miku is in a relationship with rin and meiko is rin and len's wine aunt

towel guy is also there because frimomen won't leave him alone

Silly bird man who makes soup and studies ancient ruins of long lost civilisations in the desert! He doesn't have a quarrel with anyone and nobody has a quarrel with him. He knows the tunnels under the desert well and knows how to avoid sandworms. He's also a guide for lost travelers trying to make their way through a hopelessly large desert.

Silly Creecher, Ghost is my little blorbo bingus. They are a cryptid and a spooky little guy and they will look at som1 and think "that is friend". Just my tall Eldritch beastie that likes to hang out with people and sit in their forest

Knox Odikonn the Mad Wizard

Really fucked up little guy. Kinda more fucked up than Maggie if I'm being honest. A real piece of work, it created a nightmarish hell-dimension called Wiz-Mart for fun and watched people actually try to utilize it as a proper grocery store. They find it HIGHLY entertaining to watch

The Glazastov Family

Pronouns: see below

I'd make individual blurbs for this family but none of them are that important aside from Vitaly, but he's also a very minor character in this (I still love him a lot though). The Glazastov Family is a (you guessed it) family of morticians and funeral directors. They are a family of five, consisting of the parents (Konstantin and Olga) and their three children (Vitaly, Sasha, and Polina). Konstantin (he/him) and Olga (she/her) are happily married and getting up there in years, but they tend not to go out much. Not very social at all. Vitaly (he/him) is the most social out of all of them and that's saying a lot. He's not very keen on speaking to others outside of work, but he has a soft spot for kids and does a lot of the talking for his family. Sasha (he/him) is an asshole. He was quickly driven out of the family home for trying to kill his brother. Polina (she/her), or Polly for short, is the youngest and very very sweet. She often plays with the children outside the morgue, and her responsibilities in the family have yet to be passed down, since she's quite young still.

How does Minerva feel around children? Is she friendly?

That depends on if their human kids or not. I think babies in general would make her nervous because she'd be afraid of shes not holding em right or just doing something wrong. I think kids who are old enough to walk and talk tho she's fine with em. Her being a nightmare though I imagine human children would be super afraid of her and I think that makes her feel kinda bad. Like she doesn't like scaring children. I'd say they like kids and probably is pretty good with them if they aren't afraid of her. Like if you asked her to babysit them they probably will have fun but also they might be on one hell of a sugar rush cause that clown ALWAYS has candy on her. They don't usually share it with people unless their friends with em or children because who's gonna eat candy in front of a kid and be like "No it's MINE" when they ask for some. Best I can describe how she is with the children that live in the mansion is Fun Auncle.

Gorseclaw was previously cut from the LakexLizard litter, because the Dapple/Hare/Soft survivor drama works a lot better with only three very relevant siblings

Lizardtail and Hollowflight were merged into Hallowflight, a Dark Forest trainee who swam across the lake to warn the Clans that the DF was planning to attack kittens

Hallowflight is going to be the one who goes down in a fight with Splashstar, Harelight is staying alive in BB. Whether his dad sacrificed himself for him, or he's just watched another family member get bled dry by a tyrant, Harelight's done with RiverClan. In BB!TBC, he went into the Dark Forest to fight Ashfur as a Light in the Mist. So this is the loss of a very significant warrior.

Gorseclaw... for one, if they come back, they are going to get a Conflict Rename. There's a much more significant historical figure named Gorseclaw (adopted brother of Ripplestar), so this Gorseclaw needs a new one. There's also enough Gorse suffixes, imo.

For two, I don't want to put them back into HallowxLake's litter. I just don't need him there when Harelight being the last survivor of his family works so well, both for bloodline diversity and for the drama.

SO I'm thinking of aging Gorseclaw down to kitten or apprentice during BB!ASC, and having them be the child of Harelight. Part of the choice of moving Clans being, "I will not have my only child become a warrior for the Clan that killed its whole family."

If so, then I might change Gorseclaw to Coarseclaw, a reference to their fur texture and an indirect naming for their dead auncles. The litter all had matching hair names before Harelight got an Honor Title-- Dappletuft, Softpelt, Harefur.

There will also probably be further population shuffles, both for RiverClan and elsewhere. ThunderClan does NOT need Wafflepaw. They barely even use Stormcloud and they JUST got Sunbeam too. Finish what's on your plate before you get second helpings of fresh outsider cats

At the end of BB!ASC, I want an exodus from RiverClan. Some from other Clans will join, but many will leave. There needs to be lasting consequences from this arc, right now it honestly feels like the writing team has set it up so there won't be, and that's frustrating.

I feel like people coming from my cousin’s blog are going to have a few expectations, so let me just go ahead and disclaim right out of the gate:

- Yes, I am that Jeff. Please just call me Jeff. Contrary to popular belief, I would rather not be remembered by what I did when I was thirteen years old.

- I did not choose my URL, my cousin made it.

- Despite what my cousin may claim with those user box things, the blog is not "protected" by me and I'm not going to come and kill you if you mess with it. I honestly could not be bothered. (Also, for the record, I do not look like that)

If you have any other questions feel free to send them my way. I don't really know what I'm going to be doing with this blog yet. I would delete it but auncle (aunt-uncle) says I should "engage with my cousin's interests more" and this is the least direct way for me to do that. I'll probably figure something out eventually.
