◈ SATORU GOJO
Gojo enters the house. He's just returned from a mission. A mission on Mother's Day, of all days, had been a particularly cruel twist of fate. But it's not the praise or adrenaline that he's met with. Instead, the sound of sobbing fills the room as you pounce on him, your cries tearing at his heart..
"Hey, hey, baby," he says softly, kneeling in front of you. He gathers you into his arms, hugging you close. "It's okay, I'm here now."
You cling to him, the sadness and longing for your mother clear in your voice. "I miss mommmmmmmmm, pls daddy .. I need mommy," you wail, your body shaking with sobs.
He picks you up, cradling you in his arms as he blindly stumbles through the house, murmuring comforting words. "I know, I know, baby. It's tough without her. But I'm here for you, okay? I'll always be here for you."
Once he reaches your room, he closes the door behind him, enveloping you both in privacy and quiet. He lays you gently down onto your bed, following after you to sit beside you.
His hand reaches out, his thumb brushing gently across your cheek, wiping away the tears that continue to slip down. "You don't have to be sad," he says, his voice thick with emotion. "You have me. I'll be here for you, every step of the way."
Knowing that he can't replace your mother, Gojo draws strength from the idea that he can be there for you in his own way. He can't change the past, but he can make the present and future as comforting as possible.
Gojo scoots over next to you on the bed, gently laying you down. He wraps his arms around you, pulling you close to his body, feeling your warmth and softness against him.
His heart aches for you, knowing how much you miss your mother. He kisses the top of your head, whispering softly, "I'll take you to your favorite restaurant tomorrow, promise baby. I'll spend the whole day with you. We'll go to the park, maybe take a walk through the city, and have as much fun as we can."
His voice is soothing, his promise of tomorrow's happiness a balm for your wounded heart. You start to relax in his arms, the weight of your sorrow lightening as he whispers sweet things in your ear.
"Sleep now, baby," he says, his hand gently stroking your hair. "I'll be right here."
Gojo drifts off to sleep, exhausted from his mission and the emotional weight of the day. He's still wearing his uniform, which now seems to serve as a barrier between him and the comfort of sleep.
In the middle of the night, your eyes flutter open, your sleep disturbed by the sight of Gojo, still and serene, his features soft in slumber. A pang of love and tenderness fills you, making you want to make sure he's as comfortable as possible.
Quietly, you reach out, your fingers working at the buttons of his uniform, unfastening it bit by bit. You're careful not to disturb him, your movements gentle and calculated. Once you've freed him from the confines of the uniform, leaving him in just his shirt and trousers.
You nestle your face into the crook of his neck, breathing in deep, the scent of him enveloping you. Your hands slip under the hem of his shirt, resting on his skin. They travel up his neck, then down to his chest, your fingers tracing the contours of his muscles.
The sensation of his skin under your touch ignites something within you, a desire to explore, to connect. You unbutton his shirt, revealing his firm chest. You glance up at him, gauging his sleep. He's still deeply unconscious.
With a newfound bravery, you lean forward, your tongue darting out to trace the curve of one of his nipples. The sensation is electric, a shiver running down your spine. You close your lips around it, sucking gently, your tongue teasing it.
His hand comes up, wrapping around the back of your head, pulling you closer. His fingers thread through your hair, a soft moan escaping his lips. His other hand slides down your back, gripping your hip firmly.
Gojo's reaction spurs you on, your mouth traveling between his nipples, your tongue playing with them. You're lost in the sensations, the taste of him, the warmth of his skin. You're learning, but more than that, you're basking in the intimacy of the moment.
Gojo suddenly bursts into laughter, the sound filling the room. "Baby, what are you trying to do?" he says, the amusement in his voice apparent.
You pull back, flustered, your cheeks turning red with embarrassment. You realize he's awake now, and you hadn't even noticed. "I... I'm sorry, I didn't mean to.." Your voice trails off, unsure how to explain your actions.
Gojo's expression softens, his hand cupping the back of your head. "Baby, you've been missing mommy so bad that sucking on daddy's nipples is making you feel better?" He doesn't scold you for what you've done, for taking matters into your own hands. Instead, he pulls you back against his chest, his tone gentler now.
"Go on," he murmurs, his fingers tangling in your hair. "I'm liking it." He presses your face against his chest, encouraging you to continue. The approval in his voice, the warmth of his body, it calms the storm within you, reassuring you that you're not in trouble, that he's happy to share this intimate moment with you.
You resume your actions, your lips and tongue worshiping Gojo's nipples. Your eyes remain locked on his face, watching in the dim light as his cheeks flush with color, his pink petite nipples hardening beneath your touch. Your gaze drops, noticing his bulge against his pants, the outline of his erection straining against the fabric.
As your mouth works on his nipples, his hands reach down, rubbing at himself through his pants. You notice the way he's whimpering, twitching under your ministrations. You seize the moment, pushing him onto his back before climbing on top of him. Your hips grind against his hardening member, your mouth still busy on his nipple.
Gojo whimpers, trying to tell you to slow down, but you take it as encouragement, sucking even harder. Your tongue flicks over his nipple, and you gently nibble at it. You switch to the other nipple, repeating the motions, teasing him.
He tries to pry you off with his hands, gripping your hair gently, but you're determined, not letting him stop you. You pinch both nipples, twisting them between your fingers. Gojo arches his back, cumming through his pants, the evidence dampening the fabric.
Gojo gasps, his eyes wide, "Oh my, what a bad girl you are." Despite the teasing tone, there's an underlying sense of pride, of admiration, in his voice.
You purr, satisfied with the reaction you've elicited. You scoot closer to him, pressing kisses to his cheeks before snuggling into his arms. The warmth of his body envelops you, the rhythm of his breaths lulling you into a peaceful slumber. This time, you sleep soundly in his embrace, the ache in your heart starting to fade away.
◈ TOJI FUSHIGURO
The day stretches on, your sadness a tangible weight. Mother's Day is a cruel reminder of the loss that haunts you, the constant ache palpable as you sit on the couch, your phone providing a window to the world of mother-daughter relationships.
Toji notices your distress, the wetness on your cheeks and the tremble in your shoulders, but he remains silent, giving you space while he goes about his own business. It isn't until you let out a soft whimper that he can't bear your pain any longer.
"Come on ya, don't be a cry-baby now," he says gently, his voice a gentle reprimand. "You're much older." His tone is laced with affection, the concern evident in his eyes.
You cover your face with your arms, the humiliation of being seen in such a vulnerable state bubbling up inside you. "I'm sorry," you mumble, trying to hide your shame.
Toji approaches, his large frame casting a shadow over you as he sits down next to you. He slides an arm under your neck, pulling you onto his thighs, your head resting on his lap. His hand starts to work its way through your hair, a comforting and gentle gesture.
"It's okay," he reassures you, his thumb stroking your temple. "It's normal to miss her. I miss her too." His words are a balm, his touch soothing as you allow yourself to be consoled, the weight of the day slowly lifting.
Toji gently removes your hands from your face, taking the opportunity to wipe away the tears that cling to your eyes. His gaze is filled with compassion, the understanding in his eyes a testament to his own grief.
Without warning, you pull his head towards you, your lips capturing his in a tender kiss. Toji is caught off guard at first, but he returns the gesture, the comfort of human connection a balm for your sorrow.
You move from kissing his lips to the scar near his lips, your lips lingering on the familiar mark. When your sobbing subsides, you pull away from him, the desire for retribution sparking within you.
"You called me a cry-baby!" you retort, your voice tinged with indignation. In a sudden burst of energy, you pounce on Toji, straddling him on the couch. Your hands reach for his sides, your fingers dancing in a feeble attempt to tickle him.
Toji smirks, his hands wrapped around your waist, thwarting your efforts to tickle him. "It's true, you are a baby," he teases, the mocking light in his eyes intensifying.
Determined to make him pay for his mockery, you shift your focus to his chest, your teeth finding purchase on his nipple through his black tshirt. The action is bold, the bite hard enough to leave a mark.
Surprisingly, instead of the expected yelp, Toji lets out a low moan, the sound hanging in the air between you. The unexpected reaction leaves both of you momentarily stunned, the implications of your actions heavy in the room.
Toji releases his grip on you, clearing his throat awkwardly. You look at him, confusion clouding your expression, your tongue darting out to wet your lips.
With a swift motion, you raise his tshirt, exposing his chest, and immediately set about sucking on his nipples. His eyes widen, his composure slipping a little at the sudden, intense attention you're lavishing on him.
Despite his attempts at restraint, Toji's arousal is evident, his erection straining against the confines of his pants. The way you tease him, alternating between sucking and licking his nipples, is tantalizing, making it increasingly difficult for him to ignore your advances.
Then, without warning, you take it a step further. Your teeth bite down on his nipple, following it up with a painful pinch. The resulting sound that escapes Toji's lips is a mixture of pain and pleasure.
The line between what's acceptable and inappropriate has been crossed, and Toji can no longer hold back. His hands grab you, forcefully pulling you off his chest and forcing you onto your back. Without hesitation, he lifts your shirt, exposing your sensitive breasts.
"Quit, brat. Now it's time for payback," he growls, his voice laced with a mix of dominance and desire. His mouth descends on your nipple, his tongue flicking against the hardened nub while his hand reaches for his pants, freeing his erection.
He strokes himself leisurely, his gaze never leaving your flushed face as he continues to suck on your nipples.
You moan softly, the sensations coursing through you leaving you breathless. You attempt to pull him away, but Toji remains resolute, his mouth firmly latched onto your nipple.
As his hand works his cock in tandem with his mouth on your chest, the tension between you builds. Your moans grow more desperate, the pleasure-pain of his actions leaving you both bewildered and intoxicated.
Finally, the dam breaks. Toji lets out a shuddered groan, his seed spilling onto your chest. The warmth coats your skin, the result of your actions etched on your body.
He releases hsi grip on your body, his breathing heavy, his eyes meeting yours with a mixture of satisfaction and awe. The intimacy of the act is undeniable, the world beyond the confines of the room fading into insignificance.
You stare at the mess he's left on your tits, the implications of your actions sinking in. The dynamic between the two of you has shifted, the boundaries you've pushed a testament to the newfound uncharted territory you now occupy.
You sigh heavily, the weight of your grief bearing down on you once more. "Ghhh, I miss mom," you say again, your voice tinged with bitterness.
Toji lets out a frustrated sound, his hand coming up to slap his forehead. "For the love of God, shut up," he groans, his tone laced with exasperation.
◈ NANAMI KENTO
You tiptoe into Nanami's room, your eyes red and puffy from crying. He looks up from his book, concern etched on his face, as he notices your state. He sets the book aside, rushing to your side. Nanami kneels before you, placing a hand on your knee, "Honey, sweetheart, why are you crying?"
Your voice shaky, you tell him. "Today's Mother's Day, and I miss mom." Tears stream down your cheeks once more, the pain of missing your mother overwhelming you.
Nanami's eyes soften, and he feels a pang of sadness for your loss. "Come here, sweetheart. Tonight, you're sleeping with me. We can cuddle the pain away." He helps you up, his arms wrapping around you, pulling you close.
You cling to him, grateful for the comfort he offers. Nanami leads you to the bed, gently laying you down. He adjusts the covers, tucking you in before climbing in beside you. His arms wrap around your waist, pulling you against his chest. You rest your head on his shoulder, feeling safe and comforted by his presence.
Nanami begins to hum a soft tune, caressing your hair gently. The rhythmic motion lulls you into a sense of calm, your sobs subsiding. You nuzzle closer, enjoying the warmth and security his embrace provides. As the night wears on, his reassuring touch and the sound of his heartbeat slowly lull you to sleep, your heart heavy, but not quite as broken.
Feeling safe and snuggled against Nanami, you begin to drift off to sleep. Your eyes flutter closed, but something catches your attention. As you lay against Nanami's chest, you notice that his shirt buttons are ajar, and his nipples are exposed.
A shiver runs down your spine as your mind wanders what if I- and without a moment's hesitation, you lunge forward, getting on top of him. You wrap your lips around one of his nipples, sucking gently. Your tongue flicks against it, and a soft moan escapes your lips.
Nanami's grip on you tightens, momentarily stunned by your sudden, bold action. His brow furrows, but he allows you to continue for a few moments before whispering, "Do you miss mommy this bad?"
You pause, unsure of how to respond, but the wanton desire you feel doesn't abate. You nuzzle against him, smiling into his chest before continuing your play with his nipple.
Nanami's hands travel to your hair, gripping it tightly as he lets out an involuntary moan. "Gosh… stop now, tis' too much," he commands, his voice thick with desire.
You ignore his plea, unbuttoning more of his shirt to expose the other nipple. You switch to that one, sucking it hungrily as Nanami's moans grow louder. His breathing quickens, and you can feel the need building in him.
"Sweetheart, I c-can't anymore," he begs, the desperation in his voice unmistakable. You look up at his face, smiling devilishly as you see the strain in his pants. You realize he's on the verge of losing control, and he frees his cock, stroking it gently as you continue to suck his nipple.
Nanami's moans grow louder, and his breathing becomes more erratic. You can feel the tension in his body, and he finally cums, moaning as he strokes himself. You continue sucking even after his orgasm subsides, enjoying the reactions you've elicited.
Nanami pries you off this time, his hands firmly but gently removing your mouth from his nipple. "What the hell were you doing?" he asks, a mixture of amusement, surprise, and arousal in his voice. You look up at him, your eyes full of childish innocence, before planting a kiss on his nose.
You giggle, snuggling close to him once more, your arms wrapping around him. You drift off to sleep, nestled against his body, content in the afterglow of invasion of his nipples.
◈ GETO SUGURU
The day's significance weighs heavy on your heart, a constant reminder of the void left by your mother's absence. You resist the urge to break down in tears, not wanting to burden Suguru with your sorrows.
Yet, as the day progresses, the weight of your emotions becomes too much to bear. Suguru notices the change in your demeanor, his keen senses picking up on your distress.
Confronting you, he demands an explanation for your unsettled state, refusing to be brushed off. You hesitate, unsure of how he'll react. But in the end, the yearning to share your feelings with someone overwhelms your fear.
Your voice wavers as you confess your longing for your mother. The confession hangs heavily between you, the vulnerability on display a stark contrast to the usual power dynamic.
To your surprise, Suguru doesn't scoff or mock you. Instead, his laughter is tinged with sympathy, a rare display of emotion from him.
"It's alright, Y/N," he says, gently guiding you into his embrace. "I know what it's like to miss someone. Even sorcerers lose their loved ones."
His arms wrap around you, comforting you in a way that is both unexpected and welcome. The warmth of his body and the steady beat of his heart meld with the rhythm of your own, creating a temporary haven from the world.
The tears you've been holding back finally spill over, the weight of your sorrows lightening with each drop. In this moment, your monkey status ceases to matter, and you're simply the non-sorcerer girl he loves the most.
As tears stream down your face, your fingers tighten around his gojogesa. When you finally glance up, you're met with Geto's unexpectedly kind gaze. "You know.. I'm a bit like your mother too, don't you think?" he gently suggests. You shake your head, unable to comprehend. He then adopts a playful pout, asking, "Why do you need your mother when you have me?"
You wipe your tears, your fingers leaving damp trails across your face. Caught off guard by the kindness in Suguru's eyes, you hesitate before responding.
Your thoughts whirl, searching for an answer to his question. "I don't know," you admit, your voice small and unsure. "It's just..." Your words trail off, unable to articulate the feelings that bind you to your mother.
Suguru pouts, a childish expression that softens the severity of his features. His gaze remains fixed on you, waiting for you to continue.
Your gaze lingers on his chest, drawn to the unseen nipples beneath the fabric. You swallow, a faint blush creeping up your neck. Your eyes focusing on the area you've found out, your curiosity piqued by the hardened nubs nestled beneath his clothing. Swallowing hard, you gather your courage and ask, "Can I touch these?"
He chuckles, the sound pleasant in your ears. Suguru unties the sash of his gojogesa, letting it fall open to reveal his bare chest. "Go ahead," he encourages, his voice low and commanding.
At first, you hesitate, the proximity to his skin making you feel self-conscious. Slowly, you reach out, your fingers trembling as they brush against his nipples. The sensitivity of the flesh causes his body to shudder.
Encouraged by his reaction, you apply gentle pressure, watching as his nipples react to your touch. They harden further, a stark contrast against his smooth skin.
Suguru's eyes close, the pleasure evident in the soft moan that escapes his lips. His chest rises and falls with every breath, the intimacy of the moment overwhelming.
Your curiosity leads you to act without thinking, your lips capturing one of his nipples. The sudden warmth and wetness surprise Suguru, his hand instinctively moving to caress your hair.
He holds back a surprised laugh, allowing you to continue. As you suck gently, his breathing deepens, his body reacting to the unanticipated stimuli. The sensation of your mouth against his nipple proves to be more sensitive than he'd imagined, and he can feel the stirrings of arousal in his loins.
His cock starts to swell, the fabric of his clothes straining to contain it. The hardening flesh presses against your thigh, a testament to your newfound skill.
Suguru's hold on your hair tightens, the pleasure coursing through his body making it difficult to form coherent thoughts.
The sensation of his erection sends a thrill up your spine, causing you to giggle sheepishly. Suguru returns your laughter with a smirk, his eyes heavy with desire. With quick movements, he pulls your top off, revealing your own breasts.
His large hands cup your breasts, fingers tracing circles around your nipples. You squirm under his touch, attempting to dislodge his hands. But his grip is firm, refusing to let go.
"Why did you stop?" he asks, his voice low and commanding, tinged with a hint of playfulness. "Don't you want to feel what I am feeling?"
The question piques your curiosity, and you press your mouth back onto his nipple. As you suckle, Suguru mirrors your actions, dragging his fingers across the other nipple. They continue to toy with your hardening nubs, the sensations building with each stroke.
The rhythmic and insistent play continues, both of you immersed in the dance of pleasure. The intensity escalates, culminating in a sharp intake of breath from Suguru as he reaches his climax.
His fingers tighten around your nipples pulling and pinching them, his seed spilling onto his clothes. The sudden combination of pleasure and pain from his grip makes you nibble on his nipple, the dual sensations intoxicating.
As the waves of ecstasy subside, both of you pull back, panting from the intensity of the encounter.
Bashful, you hide your face in his chest, the intimacy of the situation leaving you flushed and breathless. Suguru's fingers trail along your spine, a gentle caress that soothes your nerves.
In the moment of quiet, he asks, "Do you still miss your mom?"
Your voice is soft, tinged with a hint of sincerity as you respond, "N-no... not that much. Not when you're around."
A gentle chuckle emanates from his chest, and you can't help but join in. The shared laughter is a moment of vulnerability, healing the longing you have for your mother.
◈ RYOMEN SUKUNA
Today is Mother's Day, and the emptiness of missing your mother looms over you like a dark cloud. You feel lost, and the void inside your heart seems to stretch and grow, making you lash out in frustration. Uraume tries to comfort you, but it's no use. You're consumed by your sadness, and you begin to yell and scream, throwing a tantrum.
"WHERE IS DAD!" you cry out, your voice raw with emotion. Uraume, sensing your distress, tries to follow you, their small hands reaching out to you as if to calm you down. But you're too lost in your grief, and you keep running, your feet carrying you further and further away from the comfort of the temple.
You don't notice where you're going, your emotions driving you forward. Suddenly, you collide with a solid surface, the force of the impact knocking the wind out of you. As you regain your breath, you look up to find Sukuna squinting down at you, his expression unreadable.
"What did I tell you about screaming?" he asks, his voice low and dangerous. His four arms fold across his chest, and his eyes bore into yours, waiting for an explanation.
You frown, tears streaming down your face, "D-dad," you start slowly, your voice cracking. "I want my mom too, Uraume can't be my mom, I need my real mom. I'm so, so lonely." Your words come out in a rush, the weight of your emotions too heavy to bear alone.
Uraume sighs heavily as they approach Sukuna, their small hands fidgeting with their robes. "Lord Sukuna, she has been throwing her tantrums the whole day. I am tired now... you have to take care of her now," Uraume complains, their voice heavy with exhaustion.
Sukuna nods, his eyes never leaving you. He reaches down, his four arms wrapping around you, easily lifting you from your feet. You continue to throw your tantrums, hitting his back as hard as you can with your fists, but he remains stoic, unperturbed by your outburst.
As he carries you to his room, your sobs slowly die down, replaced by heavy, shaky breaths. Once inside, he gently sets you down on the bed, his eyes never leaving you.
"Listen, brat," he begins, his voice stern but laced with a hint of concern. "You don't get to throw tantrums just because you're my child."
But before he can finish, your emotions get the better of you again, and hot tears spill over your cheeks, tracking down your face. You bury your face against his chest, your body shaking with each sob.
Sukuna's eyes soften, and he kneels down beside the bed, allowing you to hide against his hard, muscular form. "Now now, don't cry, brat. I'm not scolding you. I'm just trying to-"
But his words are cut off as you suddenly latch onto one of his nipples, your lips wrapping around it, sucking it into your mouth. You cling to him, your grip tenacious.
Sukuna watches you for a moment, a mixture of surprise and amusement flashing across his features. His hand reaches up to gently stroke your head, his fingers tangling in your hair as you continue to suckle on his nipple.
"Ah, that feels nice, brat," he says, his voice a low rumble. He pulls back slightly, giving you better access to his chest. "Do you want to suckle like this, little one?"
You nod, cheeks drying as you continue to suck on his nipple, your mouth warm and wet against his skin. Sukuna relaxes, settling onto the bed, and you nestle against him, your body finally still as you find comfort in this primitive act. In the dimly lit room, you hold on to Sukuna, his heartbeat slow and steady beneath your cheek. As you nurse on his nipple, the sadness that had gripped you earlier begins to lift, replaced by a sense of warmth and security.
As you cling to him, your body still, you finally muster up the courage to ask, your voice small and muffled against his chest. "Daddy, can you... can you milk?"
Sukuna can't help but let out a booming laugh at your request, the sound echoing through the room. "You're missing your mother so much, huh?" he chuckles, the sound soft and amused. "I'm not her, so I cannot milk.."
He leans down to kiss the top of your head, his lips warm against your skin. "Go back to sleep now. You'll feel better tomorrow. And I promise, I'm not leaving you."
He nestles you closer, his strong arms wrapping around you, and you snuggle into his embrace, feeling the warmth of his body, the beat of his heart, and the safety of his presence. His voice is a soothing lullaby, and soon, your eyes grow heavy, your body drifting off to sleep.
Sukuna's other arms wrap around you, his fingers gently massaging your back. "There, there," he coos, his deep voice soothing you further. "You're safe with me, little one."
The night stretches on, and you continue to suckle, slowly drifting off to sleep, your body lulled by the rhythm of his heartbeat and the comfort of his touch. For now, the emptiness of missing your mother fades into the background, replaced by the love and protection of Sukuna.
◈ SHIU KONG
The day drags on, your spirits dampened by the weight of your sadness. Today, of all days, feels like a cruel reminder of your loss. The celebration of motherhood is a painful sting, a wound that's reopened by the simple act of remembering.
Shiu senses the shift in your demeanour, his eyes sympathetic as he joins you on the couch, throwing his half-smoked cigarette into the ashtray. You're lost in your thoughts, staring blankly at the TV screen, when he speaks, breaking the silence. "It's a tough day, isn't it?" His voice is gentle, a stark contrast to the usual tone of authority.
You nod, your eyes brimming with unshed tears as you clutch a pillow close to your chest. "I miss her," you whisper, your voice thick with emotion. The pain of losing your mother is a constant companion, one that fades with time but never truly disappears.
Shiu's response is immediate, his arms wrapping around you once more, pulling you onto his lap. His hand strokes your hair, an attempt to soothe the ruffled feathers of your heart. His kisses dot your forehead, a tender display of affection.
"I love you," he says, his voice soft and sincere. The words carry a depth of emotion, a promise that despite the circumstances, you are not alone. "Baby, I can do your mom and dad both, okay? Come on, what will make you feel better?"
Your gaze falls on his chest, his nipples pressing against his shirt, the sight momentarily distracting you from your sorrow.
Your hand hesitates, hovering over his chest for a moment before rising, your fingers tentatively brushing against his nipples. Shiu's eyes follow your movement, a hint of confusion coloring his expression.
The words tumble out, pleading and vulnerable, "Can I… will you let… me suck on them, please?" The request is unexpected, a confession of a secret desire, born from a place of grief and yearning.
Shiu's eyes widen, a perplexed expression crossing his features. However, he recovers quickly, nodding as he sits up, pulling his shirt over his head. His chest is revealed, smooth and toned, his nipples a darker hue against the pale skin. "Alright, go ahead. If that will make you miss your mom less."
His words linger in the air, the consent given, the door now open to your desire.
Your heart races as you lean forward, your lips parting as they close over one of the hard nubs. Your tongue flicks out, teasing the sensitive tip, the sensation of skin against your mouth unlike anything you've experienced before.
The taste of him, faint and slightly salty, is a shock to your senses, your mind hazy with the exploration of new territory. As you focus on the task, the ache of missing your mother begins to fade, replaced by a newfound sensation of comfort and intimacy.
The act is strange and all-consuming, your fingers tangled in the fabric of Shiu's pants, the sensation of your lips and tongue on his nipple sending shivers down his spine. His breath hitches, the unexpected turn of events stirring something within him.
His hand rests on your head, gently guiding you as you explore, the touch a mixture of reassuring and possessive. Shiu's body tenses, the involuntary reaction to the sensation you're providing.
The room seems to fade away, leaving only the two of you, connected by the intimate act, the chasm of your loss temporarily bridged by the strange comfort found in the act.
His voice comes out gruff, a mixture of embarrassment and awe in his tone. The admission is unexpected, revealing a side to him you've never seen.
You watch him, unblinking, sensing the shift in his demeanor. The layers of authority and strictness seem to falter for a moment, replaced by vulnerability.
"It's okay," he reassures you, his hand caressing your head gently once more. "It's just, you're awakening feelings I haven't felt in a long time." The confession is startling, the admission opening a door to a world previously unexplored.
The implications of his words swirl in your mind, the weight of the admission leaving you feeling a little shaky. The intimacy between the two of you deepens, the shared secret a bond unlike any other.
You continue your exploration, the newfound knowledge fueling your curiosity, the two of you falling further into the abyss of your connection.
As you continue your sensual ministrations, you become aware of Shiu's attempts to thrust his hips against you, a silent plea for more. Your curiosity piqued, you release his nipple from your mouth, your hands deftly navigating the path to his growing erection.
The feel of his hardness in your hand is electrifying, your fingers curling around the base, your thumb stroking the sensitive head. Your lips return to his nipple as your hand works in tandem, the dual stimulation driving him wild.
His breath hitches, his body arching into your touch, the restraint he's been exerting slipping. Shiu's whimpers fill the room, his need for release palpable. His fingers bury themselves in your hair, clinging to you as you drive him closer to the edge.
Finally, it happens. His body shudders, his hips bucking into your hand as he comes, the warmth of his seed coating your skin. A wave of relief washes over him, his grip loosening as he slumps back into the couch.
You release his nipple, your lips wet from your actions, your hand cradling his spent length. The intimacy of the act hangs heavy in the air, the boundaries you've crossed looming in the aftermath.
The scene is one of vulnerability, a shared secret now binding the two of you in a way that was previously unimaginable. The intensity of the moment is palpable, a new world opened by your exploration, your actions irrevocably changing the dynamic between you and Shiu.
◈ HIGURUMA HIROMI
You're sitting in your room, the dim light of dusk seeping through the curtains, painting shadows on the walls. Today, Mother's Day, should be brimming with warmth and love, but instead, it feels hollow and icy.
To compound matters, Hiromi, your stepfather, who should be offering solace, is absent too, absorbed in his work as usual. You know he's out there, tackling cases, serving justice to others, but in doing so, he's left you here, isolated, submerged in sadness. While a part of you comprehends his dedication to his job, right now, all you can feel is fury and bitterness.
You want to unleash your frustration on him, to question why he's not by your side, why he's prioritizing work over family on such an important day. But instead, you find yourself curled up on your bed, tears streaming down your face, the pain in your heart escalating with each passing second.
Hiromi returns home, greeted by an eerie silence. Something about it unsettles him, and he makes his way to your room, curiosity piqued. The moment he opens the door, he hears your quiet sobs, and his steps falter.
"Y/N?" he calls softly, his heart beginning to race.
You're curled up on your bed, tears streaming down your face, your posture tense with anger and sadness. Hiromi hurriedly rushes over and wraps his arms around you, lifting you gently from the bed in a warm embrace.
Your tiny hands attempt to push him away, your voice trembling with emotion.. "Put me downn! Leave me alone!"
Hiromi sets you back on your feet, but he doesn't move away. He waits, giving you space to compose yourself. "Why, baby?" he asks gently. "Why are you crying?"
You glare at him, wiping your nose roughly with the back of your hand. "Tis' mother's day, and you were not here for me." The words come out harshly, your tone betraying the vulnerability beneath. "It's not fair. No one ever thinks about me."
Hiromi's heart aches as he listens to your accusations. He reaches for you, gently pulling you close once more. "I'm sorry," he says sincerely, his voice a soft murmur against your hair. "I should have been here with you."
You tense up at his touch, unsure whether to lean into him or resist. He waits patiently, giving you time to process your emotions. "I know today is a difficult day," Hiromi continues, his arms still wrapped around you. "But I'm here now. Let me make it up to you."
Hiromi takes off his suit and crawls into bed beside you, wrapping an arm around your shoulder as you lay on your side. "I'm really sorry for not being here for you today. I promise to make it up to you from now on."
He leans in to press a chaste kiss to your forehead, then another to your temple. His lips trail down your neck, and he inhales deeply, taking in your scent. His words are a soothing whisper against your skin.
"I love you, and I'm always here for you, even when I'm not. You're my little girl, and I want to protect and care for you, always."
As he continues to shower you in affection, your anger starts to dissipate, replaced by a warmth in your chest. An idea forms in your mind, one that surprises even you. "Can I suck them, Daddy?" You point to Hiromi's nipples, catching him off guard.
His eyes widen, but there's a flicker of curiosity and desire in them. "I should take a shower before," he says, attempting to brush off your request.
Without giving him time to change his mind, you're already leaning forward, unbottoning his shirt, your tongue already tracing circles around one of his nipples. He's caught off guard by your boldness, but it's clear he's enjoying the sensation.
Hiromi's hand threads through your hair, fingers sifting through the soft strands as you lavish attention on his nipple. "Mmm, Y/N..," he breathes out, his voice thick with pleasure. "S-shit" His other hand slides down your back, his fingers kneading your flesh and pressing you closer to him. You smile against his skin, feeling in control for once.
As you continue to lavish attention on his nipple, you can't help but feel a jolt of satisfaction from the way he arches into your touch. His chest rises and falls with heavier breaths, signs of arousal that spur you on.
Hiromi's hand tightens in your hair, his grip firm yet gentle. "Is this my punishment?," he whispers, his tone laced with playful admonishment. "But I can't deny I enjoy this."
Determined to make him suffer your playful punishment, you suck harder on Hiromi's nipple, nibbling on it gently. His moan fills the room, and you can't help but smirk against his skin.
"Fine, fine," he gasps, his voice thick with desire. "You win. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. I'll take a day off just to spend it with you."
A triumphant smile spreads across your face as you pull away from his chest. Hiromi's admission of defeat is all the reward you need. "I'll be back after taking a shower," he tells you, his voice a sultry rumble.
Pouting, you lay back down on the bed, your mind already racing with ideas for the day he's promised you. You can't help but feel a thrill of excitement at the thought of spending an entire day with your stepdad.
As Hiromi heads to the shower, his thoughts aren't as chaste as they should be. The way you'd worshipped his nipple, sucking and nibbling, has left him aroused. He tries to quell his erection, his hand wrapping tightly around his cock.
His other hand moves to his nipples, lightly pinching them as he strokes himself. The shower's warm spray hits him, and Hiromi lets out a ragged sigh, giving into the pleasure as he continues to stroke himself, each motion a reenactment of the sensations you'd provided. He moans, his hips bucking slightly as he paints the shower tiles with his release.
Once he's cleaned up, Hiromi steps out of the shower, a satisfied grin tugging at the corners of his lips. He finds you sleeping peacefully in bed, a sight that fills him with affection.
Carefully, he dresses, then crawls into bed. Wrapping his arms around you, Hiromi rests his chin on top of your head, breathing in your scent. His body is lulled into a deep slumber by the soft rise and fall of your chest against his.
The thought of leaving you again is no longer an option. The memory of your playful punishment lingers, a reminder of how much it meant to you to have his undivided attention. Hiromi vows to make the most of the day he's promised you, never daring to leave you alone again on such a precious day.
◈ CHOSO KAMO
Choso was in the middle of his usual routine when he heard your soft sobs. He drops everything and rushes to you, finding you in tears. "Hey, what's wrong?" he asks, wrapping his arms around you.
You tell him that it's Mother's Day today and that you miss your mother. He feels your pain, and his heart aches for you. "You miss your mom, huh?"
He cradles you close, cooing softly as you cry into his chest. "It's okay to miss her. I do too, you know. She was a great woman." Choso strokes your hair, trying to calm your sobs. "She'd want us to be happy and continue living our lives." Even his eyes well up with tears, but he holds them back.
When you finally stop crying, Choso leads you to your room, a comforting smile on his face. "Alright, sleep baby. It's night time, and you need to rest."
He turns to leave, but you stop him with your request, "P-please stay with me tonight".
Choso's eyes soften as he understands your need for comfort. "Of course. I'll stay with you tonight, little one."
He lies down beside you, making sure you're tucked in and comfortable. He wraps an arm around your waist, his hand resting on your hip, giving you the feeling of security. "Go to sleep. Daddy's right here," he whispers, closing his eyes to keep vigil over you while you drift off to dreamless slumber. He's never felt so protective and nurturing towards another person, but he's always willing to do it for your sake.
Afte a while, you turn to face Choso, seeing him awake as well. He notices your distress and gently caresses your head. "Not sleeping yet?" His voice is soft and comforting, trying to reassure you.
You shake your head, admitting that you can't fall asleep. Choso cups your face, looking you straight in the eye. "Come on, baby. You don't need anybody else when I'm here. You're safe, and I'll always protect you." He tries to sing softly, but it's more of a hum. Your laughter at his attempt to serenade you makes Choso blush, and you kiss him on the cheek, your hands roaming his chest.
The thin fabric of his shirt reveals hardened nipples, and you can't help but notice. "They're hardening," you whisper, your fingers brushing over them. Choso's eyes widen, unsure of what you're referring to. "What?"
You grin at his confusion, leaning in closer. "Your nipples." With that, you take one into your mouth, sucking gently through his thin shirt. Choso gasps, the unexpected sensation sending shivers down his spine. "Y/N..." he murmurs, unsure of how to react. He's never experienced anything like this before, and your intrusive thoughts have led to a new discovery between the two of you. Choso's body is reacting in ways he doesn't fully understand, but his protectiveness and care for you haven't wavered.
Choso's cock twitches as he lets out a soft moan, whimpering like a baby at the sensation. You're enticed by his reaction, pushing his top away to suck his nipple directly. He arches his back, a string of curses escaping his lips. "G-goddammit, fuck! Hngh!" His body tenses as he accidentally cums in his pants, panting heavily.
Surprised by his reaction, you straddle him and continue sucking his nipples, your hands stroking his slicky shaft, now free from his pants. Choso gasps, feeling a heightened sensitivity. "Baby, no more. I get it. You miss your mom. Now stop," he whimpers, his hands attempting to pull you off. His efforts are in vain.
You continue to play with his cum-covered cock and lick his neck, moving back to his nipples. Sucking them as if you're a milk pump, you enjoy the reaction you're getting from Choso. His body writhes underneath you, a mix of pleasure and discomfort.
He's never experienced anything like this, and the intense emotions he's feeling are growing. Despite his attempts to stop you, he's also enjoying your attention, the line between pain and pleasure blurred.
Choso's hips thrust against your hand as his fingers wraps around your head, urging you to suck his nipples harder. Your other hand pinches his other nipple, tease his earlobes. The sensory overload is too much, causing him to cum again, this time all over your hand.
You pull your mouth away, both of you breathing heavily. You giggle, feeling a sense of satisfaction from your actions. Choso looks at you, panting, as if you're a devilish baby. He can't help but laugh along with you, the tension breaking.
You both collapse into each other, exhausted and satisfied. The night air envelops you as you fall into a deep sleep, the events of the night unfolding a new connection between Choso and you. His protectiveness has blossomed into something deeper, subtly changing the dynamic between the two of you.

Behind the Mask
Kenji Sato x reader
Summary: Kenji Sato, the star baseball player and the new Ultraman, struggles with the burden of his dual identity. One evening, he decides to share his secret with you, hoping for understanding and support.
The warm lights of the city reflected off the windows of the cozy Tokyo apartment as you prepared dinner. The soft hum of the refrigerator and the clinking of utensils were the only sounds in the room. You glanced at the clock, noting that Kenji was running late again. It wasn’t unusual—between his baseball career and the mysterious "other job" he never spoke much about, his schedule was always unpredictable.
You sighed, stirring the pot of miso soup, when you heard the front door creak open. Kenji stepped in, looking exhausted but smiling warmly at you.
"Sorry I'm late," he said, kicking off his shoes and making his way to the kitchen.
"It's okay," you replied, offering him a reassuring smile. "Dinner’s almost ready. Tough day at practice?"
Kenji chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. "Yeah, something like that."
There was something in his tone that made you pause. It wasn’t just fatigue; it was deeper, a weariness you hadn’t heard before. You turned off the stove and faced him, concern etched on your features.
"Kenji, are you okay? You seem... different tonight."
He took a deep breath, his eyes meeting yours. There was a flicker of uncertainty, but also determination. "Actually, there's something I need to tell you. Something important."
Your heart skipped a beat. You nodded, gesturing for him to sit at the table. "Of course, you can tell me anything."
Kenji sat down, his hands clasped together on the table. He seemed to be gathering his thoughts, struggling to find the right words. Finally, he spoke, his voice steady but tinged with vulnerability.
"Do you remember when we first met? You asked me why I never stayed in the spotlight, why I kept my distance from the media and even my teammates."
You nodded, recalling those early days of your relationship. Kenji had always been a bit of an enigma, a star player who shunned the limelight.
"The truth is," he continued, "it wasn't just because I preferred my privacy. It was because I have another responsibility, one that I haven't been able to share with anyone... until now."
You leaned forward, your curiosity piqued. "What do you mean?"
Kenji opened his mouth to speak but hesitated, his gaze dropping to the table. He took a deep breath, his fingers tapping nervously against the wood. "It's... complicated. And I don't want you to think differently of me."
You reached out, placing your hand over his. "Kenji, whatever it is, we'll face it together."
He looked up, a mixture of fear and resolve in his eyes. "I hope you mean that," he murmured, almost to himself. He took another deep breath, his shoulders tense. "I'm Ultraman."
For a moment, the words hung in the air, almost surreal. You blinked, trying to process what he had just said. "Ultraman? Like, the Ultraman? The one who fights Kaiju?"
He nodded, watching your reaction carefully. "Yes. My father was Ultraman before me, and when he got injured, I had to take over. That's why I moved back to Japan and I’m always disappearing without much explanation."
You stared at him, a mixture of disbelief and awe washing over you. "But... how? When?"
Kenji sighed, running a hand through his hair. "It's a long story. My father always wanted me to follow in his footsteps, but I resisted. I wanted to make a name for myself in baseball, away from all the danger and responsibility. But when he got hurt, I had no choice but to step up."
You pulled your hand back, struggling to wrap your mind around his revelation. "This is... a lot to take in, Kenji. Why didn't you tell me sooner?"
He looked down, his expression filled with regret. "I didn't want to burden you with it. I thought... maybe you'd be safer not knowing. But lately, it's been getting harder to keep it from you. I hate lying to you, and I need you to understand what I'm dealing with."
You stood up, pacing the small kitchen. "This is... I mean, I understand why you kept it a secret, but... Ultraman? That's huge, Kenji. It’s not just some little thing you can drop on someone."
Kenji stood as well, a look of desperation in his eyes. "I know. And I'm sorry. I just couldn't keep it from you any longer. I need you to know the real me."
You stopped pacing and turned to face him. "I need some time to process this. It’s not that I don’t support you, but... this changes everything."
He nodded, a pained expression on his face. "I understand. Take all the time you need. Just know that I’m here and I want us to face this together."
You took a deep breath, nodding slowly. "Okay. We’ll figure this out. But it’s going to take some time."
Kenji gave you a small, relieved smile. "Thank you. That’s all I can ask for."
As you both sat back down, the weight of his revelation settled between you. It would be a long journey, but together, you knew you could face the challenges ahead.

Don't deny it
Pairing: Rockstar!Sirius Black x fem!reader
Summary: Rockstar!Sirius keeps denying your relationship and you finally have enough
Warnings: angst, fluff, use of pet names, use of y/n, swear words, mentions of head injury, happy ending ofc
Words: 2.4k
You thought, that you've been just imagining it, but as you hear Sirius getting interviewed now, you know, you haven't.
Sirius has been keeping your relationship secret. Like everytime he got interviewed in the last few months, he played it like he was single. No mentions of a girlfriend, meaning no mentions of you.
Like you get it, that the band is really famous and that mentioning your name would kind of make your life a bit more difficult. With less privacy and everything.
But he doesn't have to say your name, he could just admit having a girlfriend. No need to go into details.
And you think, you've finally had enough when you hear him reply to the reporter's question.
"So my last question is for all of the fangirls, is Sirius Black taken?" the reporter chuckles as she asks it.
You hear Sirius laugh too," taken? No, I'm definitely not taken. Still very single, sadly."
You hear him laugh some more, before you turn the interview off. You feel like the dumbest fool.
Obviously, Sirius is too embarrassed of you to even admit he's dating anybody, there can't be any other reason.
And you've definitely had enough of it. Everytime he denies your relationship, you feel like your heart is being ripped out of your chest and stumped on.
You can't go on like this. You don't want to hurt like this anymore. You can't keep hoping that one day, he's going to admit having a girlfriend. You just can't, it pains you too much.
So with that, you decide to ignore Sirius, hoping he'll understand, that you don't want to see him ever again. You know, he shouldn't be home for at least 2 weeks, so hopefully by the time he comes home, you'll move on (too optimistic).
You stop responding to his texts, answering his phone and eventually, you even turn off your phone. You don't give him any explanation, you don't think he deserves one.
Sirius on the other hand is going crazy with worries just after a few hours of radio silence from you. He even calls your best friend to find out if you're okay. Apparently, you are, but you friend refuses to tell him anything more and just hangs up on him.
That doesn't ease his worries at all. He rakes his mind for an answer to what's he done? But nothing comes to his mind.
He tries to contact you again and again, but still, no response. You don't respond even when James or Remus try. So Sirius starts to loose his mind over you.
But he can't leave to go to you, no matter how much he wants to. The band is in the middle of finishing the new album, so he can't just bail on them. He tried it and got yelled by the management pretty badly. Threatening of getting let go by their label if he just leaves.
Sirius becomes completely useless at the studio and the band rehearsals, messing up everything, because his mind is stuck on you.
"Please sweetheart, pick up, please" Sirius whispers brokenly as he once again tries to call you.
You don't pick up and the phone call ends. Sirius throws his phone across the room from the frustration. He slumps onto a sofa and puts his head into his hands in defeat.
He sits there with tears freely running down his cheeks. It's a heartbreaking sight, seeing him so hopeless.
James and Remus find him like that and immediately know, that they have to push him to go see you.
"Go, " James tells him.
"What?" Sirius looks up confused, eyes red.
"Go after her," Remus adds encouragingly.
"But the label....I can't....they'll cut us off-"
"Doesn't matter, we'll just find some other label, there's plenty of them, that want us," James says, maybe a little smugly at the fact, that are are many labels that would kill to have The Marauders.
Sirius looks at them unsurely, "are you guys sure?"
James and Remus groan in frustration, "fucking hell, will you just get out of here, please?" James tells him.
Both Sirius and Remus chuckle, and Sirius quickly gets up. He comes up to the boys and hugs them tightly, squeezing them almost death, until they are pushing him away.
Sirius basically sprints out of the studio. He just grabs all the essentials and runs to the airport. One of the benefits of being famous is the private plane, which he happily uses on his way to you. He gets home in a record time.
The walk through the halls towards your apartment is very nerve-wracking. Sirius doesn't know what to expect, but he certainly doesn't expect all of his stuff, that he's left at your apartment to be sitting outside waiting for him.
"Shit," he curses under his breath and runs a trembling hand through his hair. He can't believe this is happening. He hopes it isn't. He hopes, it's just a nightmare, that he'll soon wake up from. He can't just loose you, he won't survive it, he's sure of that.
Sirius checks under the rug for the spare key and as expected, it isn't there. So Sirius just knocks.
No answer.
He tries again, because he knows you're inside, he can hear the shuffling of things.
"Y/N, please it's me, please open. I-I....can we please talk?" Sirius begs and begs, but you're too stubborn for your own good, you've always been like that, so you don't open.
He knocks and begs, until the neighbours are threatening to call the police on him. Sirius, defeated, sits down with his back to your door.
"Please, love, c-can we just talk?" his tired voice still doesn't break you, but Sirius doesn't give up, " okay, it's okay. I'll wait 'till, you're ready."
And he means it. He makes himself as comfortable as he can on the floor, intending to stay there however long it takes.
You, on the other hand, put on your headphones to ignore Sirius pleads and knocking. You just can't see him right now or anytime soon, your heart is too broken for that.
Even if one part of you wishes to see him and hug him, your body craves the comfort of him. But the rational part of you knows, that'd be too bad for you.
Sirius keeps hiding you and you keep hurting, you can't go on like this, not anymore.
You go to sleep, full of raw emotions, and even if sleep doesn't come easily, eventually you drift off.
In the morning, you wake up just as tired as you were, when you went to bed. And when you open your fridge, you realise, you don't even have anything to eat for breakfast.
You groan internally, you don't feel like going out of your apartment, like at all, but you have to, you can't go on without food.
You put on your most incognito clothes, hoping that you won't meet anyone you know, especially Sirius.
And as you open your door, they suddenly slam wide open, because of some weight pushing against it front the outside.
Said weight, you realise, is Sirius. You yelp in shock, when you see him and look at him bewildered.
Sirius wakes up with a groan. He wasn't thinking of you opening the door, when he first leaned against it. Now he kind of regrets it, as his entire head hurts from hitting it on the floor.
"What the fuck, Sirius?" you whisper yell, you would yell loudly, if it wasn't so early in the morning.
Sirius, upon realising that he can finally see you, stands up quickly. That isn't the best idea though, because his head starts to spin.
"Sweetheart, i-"
"Don't sweetheart me, Sirius. What the hell are you doing here? Have you been here since yesterday?" you question, angrily. You notice, that Sirius looks just as bad as you. Huge eye bags under his eyes, hair dishevelled like crazy.
"Yeah, I told, I'd wait until you were ready to talk," he just replies, giving you a small, hesitant smile.
You don't know, what to say. Your head is full of emotions and you can't decide, which ones are right and which ones aren't.
While you are thinking of what to say to him and glaring at him at the same time, Sirius head starts to spin badly.
"I think, I'm going to pass out," Sirius quickly tells you as he almost tumbles on the ground.
You, without thinking, catch him by the arms.
"W-what's wrong?" you ask a little scared. You find Sirius at your door and suddenly, he's passing out?
"I hit my head..." he mumbles out and hisses as he touches the back of his head.
You sigh, "fuck, okay, c'mon." You help him to your couch and swiftly go to retrieve some ice pack for his head and some water.
You put the ice pack at the back of his head and Sirius winces some more. "Sorry," you whisper.
"It's okay-....I- thank you, sweetheart." Sirius calls you 'sweetheart' again and you want to slap yourself for feeling the butterflies.
You quickly go to the kitchen, so he doesn't see the redness at your cheeks. "Shit," you whisper to yourself, "what am I going to do?"
You've wanted to stay away from Sirius as far away as possible and now he is in your apartment? You don't know if you want to run away, punch him in the face or kiss him stupid.
You stay as long as you can in the kitchen, basically just hiding away from Sirius and you complete forgot about your intention of going to the shop.
Sirius is unusually quiet, so after a longer while you gather all the courage you can to face him, only to find him fast asleep.
You sigh at the sight of his peaceful, asleep face, you quickly throw a blanket over him (before you can think it through) and head out to actually get something to eat, 'cause you're starving.
When you come back, Sirius wakes up at your arrival.
"H-hi, "he says with a groggy, sleepy voice. He smiles at you like nothing has happened, like everything is normal and it makes you suddenly so so angry.
You drop your grocery bags on the ground and quietly, but sternly ask, "you are embarrassed of me, that's why, right?"
Sirius is quickly woken up from his half asleep state by your mad voice and baffles," e-embarrassed? What? Of course, I'm not."
"Yes, you are," you say exasperatedly, you can feel, that your eyes are filling with tears, " you are!"
Sirius stands up slowly, but steadily and comes closer to you, not entirely close, he still wants to give you some space. "I could never be embarrassed of you, y/n, never."
"Then why?" you ask desperately as one tear rolls down your cheek, Sirius's hand itches to wipe it away.
"Why what? I don't understand," Sirius begs for explanation, while he rakes his mind for an answer to his question as well.
"Y-you keep pretending like I don't even exist, like you don't want me!" you try to suppress the little sob, that escapes your mouth. Sirius wants to fucking beat himself up for making you cry, even if he doesn't really know the reason why yet.
"What do you mean?" Sirius asks stupidly and you sob again.
"What? What? What? The fucking interviews Sirius, I mean them," you pretty much yell it to him, the frustration being too much for you.
Sirius finally understands and the realisation hits him like a crushing wave. He didn't know you were feeling this way about them," why didn't you say anything? I thought, you were okay with keeping our relationship private."
"Private yes, but not to the point you are literally chuckling and saying how incredibly single you are," you argue," that's just wrong. But if you want to be single so badly, i won't fight against it."
"No," Sirius blurts out instantly, " I don't want to be single."
"Then what do you want?" you sniffle.
"You. Just only you, nobody else," Sirius is trying to catch your gaze, but you refuse to look at him, "sweetheart, please look at me."
You hesitate, but eventually you look at him. You notice, that tears aren't only on your face.
"Have you been feeling like this for a long time?" Sirius questions and you nod, he curses under his breath.
"I'm so sorry, i didn't notice. Shit, I'm such an idiot, " he starts and without thinking he takes a few steps closer to you," I'm sorry, angel. If I knew, you were feeling this way, I would have never ever continued denying our relationship. Fuck, It was killing me to stay quiet about us, I wanted to tell them everything about you. Please believe me."
You stay quiet and your sobs slowly start to go away. Sirius waits for you to say something, anything really.
"N-not everything please," you whisper. You can't stay mad at your Sirius long, even if you'd really want to sometimes. It's just not possible to be angry with him, especially when he loves you so much.
"What was that?" Sirius doesn't catch it.
"Don't tell them everything about me please," you tell him as you, after a few days, smile. Truly smile.
Sirius takes it as a permission to finally touch you. He has you in his arms in a matter of seconds, squeezing you oh so tightly, while he laughs happily.
"Does this mean, t-that I am forgiven?" he asks you unsurely, as he reluctantly eases you out of his tight embrace.
"Maybe," you grin at him
"Maybe? What do I have to do to get a yes, huh lovely?" Sirius softly asks, he takes your cheeks into his hands and gently wipes the tears away.
"You could kiss me, you know," you say with a sheepish smile. You look too cute, cheeks red and puffy, for Sirius to say no to you. As if he would every deny you a kiss or anything else for that matter.
He instantly leans it and kisses you, it's soft and maybe a little desperate kiss, but it doesn't matter to you or him.
You let him kiss you as long as you manage without breathing, even if you know there're still things to talk about. You'll talk about it, just later, after you get enough kisses.

What Happened In India?
(or around that time...)
Before
Shortly before we were due to leave for India John spent the weekend with Derek Taylor, a former journalist who had become the Beatles' press spokesman and a good friend to us all. He, his wife Joan and their five children lived in a big country house where they seemed incredibly contented. When he came home after that weekend John put his arms around me and said, 'Let's have loads more kids, Cyn, and be really happy' Despite my increasingly strong feeling that John was slipping away from me, it seemed at moments like that as though nothing had changed. John was off drugs and seemed almost like his old self. 'We can make it work, Cyn,' he said. 'When we're in India we'll have time for us and everything will be fine.' I hoped he was right.
John (Cynthia Lennon)
Cyn hoped that Rishikesh would afford seclusion, privacy and an opportunity for her and John to rediscover each other and to revive their marriage. ‘Impossible hopes,’ she said sadly. ‘John said to me just before we went to India that he wanted us to have more children. Well that came out of the blue, I can tell you. I was really surprised, as he’d never said a word about that before.
Lesley-Ann Jones - The Search for John Lennon
Cynthia: “It was a time for us all to drop out for a while. The years of fame and fortune had taken their toll on our nerves and minds. John and I both felt closer. There seemed to be a greater possibility of our finding a solution to personal difficulties. If our trip to India wasn’t going to solve our emotional problems, then nothing would.”
The Beatles Off the Record (Keith Badman)
That letter made it crystal clear that they [John and Yoko] had been in contact. How well had they got to know one another? I tackled John, who told me she'd written many times, both letters and cards, but said, 'She's crackers, just a weirdo artist who wants me to sponsor her. Another nutter wanting money for all that avant-garde bullshit. It's not important.' I had no way of knowing whether he was telling me the truth. He sounded genuine, but a sixth sense told me there was more to this than he was admitting. I tried to put it to the back of my mind. We were going to India, and I wanted that to be a special time for us.
John (Cynthia Lennon)
John panicked at the accumulating threats from the Princess of Darkness. That was when he decided to go to India with Cynthia to put some distance between himself and Yoko. If he stayed away long enough, he could hope Yoko would just go away. Maybe she’d go back to America, or vanish in a puff of smoke. Her scissors act might go horribly wrong, or while she was bagged up one day the Royal Mail might frank the bag and deliver it to anywhere but India. Yes, a long trip to the ashram, where he could meditate and learn how to be calm and in control, give up drugs and spend romantic moments with Cynthia and glue his crumbling marriage back together, seemed opportune.

“I don’t like the unhappiness she [Yoko] caused. She was horrible. John wanted to avoid her at first. He said, ‘Get rid of the bloody woman!’ But after India, he saw her differently — perhaps filtered through an exotic mindset.”

“The pressure of being the Beatles had driven a wedge between them individually and that had all percolated in the months leading up to their visit to Rishikesh,” he said. “Once they got there, and they unburdened themselves from all of that, they reconnected with their songwriting and their creativity. It just flowed forth.”
Bob Spitz to the New York Times
“I was in a room for five days meditating,” said Lennon in The Beatles Anthology. “I wrote hundreds of songs. I couldn’t sleep and I was hallucinating like crazy, having dreams where you could smell. I’d do a few hours and they you’d trip off, three- or four-hour stretches. It was just a way of getting there, and you could go on amazing trips.” Cynthia Lennon said in Bob Spitz’s book The Beatles that for John, nothing else mattered when it came to mediation, adding “John and George were [finally] in their element [at the ashram]. They threw themselves totally into the Maharishi’s teachings, were happy, relaxed and above all found a piece of mind that had been denied them for so long.”

Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da was born on the steps of one of the low slung cottages where the entourage lived. One day, remembers Saltzman, he was passing by the cottage when he saw Lennon and McCartney sitting on the front steps and strumming the tune on their acoustic guitars. He ran back, picked up the camera and took pictures of the two with a pensive-looking Starr sitting on the side, from outside a wicket gate. Saltzman remembers the two were singing the first two lines of the song "over and over again, going fast and slow, having fun". "That's the riff we have," McCartney told Saltzman, "but no words yet".

Jenny Boyd, Patti’s sister “I sat with John a lot, since he didn’t feel well, either from terrible jet lag, and insomnia. He would stay up late; unable to sleep, and write the songs that would later appear on The Beatles’ White Album. When I was at my lowest, he made a drawing of a turbaned Sikh genie holding a big snake and intoning, ‘By the power within, and the power without, I cast your tonsil lighthouse out!’ Sometimes, late at night, I can still hear John singing those sad songs he wrote during those evenings, like ‘I’m So Tired.’”
The Beatles Off the Record (Keith Badman)
John “I went to the Maharishi and, regardless of what I was supposed to be doing, I did write some of my best songs while I was there. It was a nice scene. Nice and secure and everybody was always smiling. The experience was worth it if only for the songs that came out. It could have been the desert or Ben Nevis. The funny thing about the Maharishi camp was that, although it was very beautiful and I was meditating about eight hours a day, I was writing the most miserable songs on earth, like ‘I’m So Tired’ and ‘Yer Blues.’”
The Beatles Off the Record (Keith Badman)
Meanwhile, I was not having the second honeymoon I'd hoped for. John was becoming increasingly cold and aloof towards me. He would get up early and leave our room. He spoke to me very little, and after a week or two he announced that he wanted to move into a separate room to give himself more space. From then on he virtually ignored me, both in private and in public. If the others noticed they didn't say so. I did my best to understand, begging him to explain what was wrong. He fobbed me off, telling me that it was just the effect of the meditation. 'I can't feel normal doing all this stuff,' He said. 'I'm trying to get myself together. It's nothing to do with you. Give me a break.' What I didn't know was that each morning he rushed down to the post office to see if he had a letter from Yoko. She was writing to him almost daily. When I learnt this later I felt very hurt.
John (Cynthia Lennon)
And because the Beatles didn’t know anything about ashrams and they haven’t seen anything before because they went for Maharishi, not for the ashram. Maharishi didn’t allow men to stay with their wives. John was delighted with the idea. He loved it, actually. I think it made Cynthia very unhappy. She wanted to stay with John, everybody had his own problems. My great interest was with John. I was very happy because I found John much healthier. The color in his face was different and he was happier and he took the whole thing very seriously, and he was trying hard and he was so excited when I arrived because perhaps I was part of the reason he was there.
Magic Alex in All You Need Is Love – Peter Brown & Steven Gaines
We all went through a depression after Maharishi and Brian died; it wasn’t really to do with Maharishi, it was just that period. I was really going through the “What’s it all about?” type thing – this songwriting is nothing, it’s pointless, and I’m no good, I’m not talented, and I’m shitty, and I couldn’t do anything but be a Beatle. What am I going to do about it? It lasted nearly two years and I was still in it during Pepper. I know Paul wasn’t at the time; he was feeling full of confidence, and I was going through murder during those periods. I was just about coming out of it around Maharishi, even though Brian had died – that knocked us back again. Well, it knocked me back.
John Lennon, interview w/ Barry Miles, (partially) unpublished. (September 23rd, 1969)
By spending two months in deep meditation in India, John brought his deepest problems to the surface but he was unable to resolve them: the contradiction between his family life and his life as a rock star with all the drugs and groupies was too great. Had he stayed with the Maharishi until the end of the course, he might have avoided some of the pain, but by terminating the instruction abruptly, he was left hanging in thin air. During the weeks at the camp, he had been receiving daily letters from Yoko, though nothing sexual had yet happened between them. He was very attracted by her but he felt tremendous guilt about breaking up his marriage: doing to Julian what his own parents had done to him, repeating the pattern.
Many Years From Now - Barry Miles
He [Mick Jagger] told me with amusement that the real reason why the Beatles left the Maharishi was that he made a pass at one of them: “They’re simple north-country lads; they’re terribly uptight about all that.” Am still not sure if I believe this story.
“The Sixties,” the second volume of Christopher Isherwood’s diaries
After
And I was slowly putting myself together after Maharishi, bit by bit over a two year period. I destroyed me ego and I didn’t believe I could do anything. I let Paul do what he want and say, them all of them do what they want, I was just nothing, I was shit. And then Derek tripped me out at his house after he got back from LA, and he sort of said you’re all right and pointed out which songs I’d written, and ‘you wrote this and you said this, you are intelligent, don’t be frightened’. And then next week I went down with Yoko and tripped out again and she filled me completely to realize I was me and it was alright.
Lennon Remembers
So much had changed since I’d last seen the Beatles just a few months previously. They had come back from their trip to India completely different people. They had once been fastidious and fashionable; now they were scruffy and unkempt. They had once been witty and full of humor; now they were solemn and prickly. They had once been bonded together as lifelong friends; now they resented one another’s company. They had once been lighthearted and fun to be around. Now they were angry.
Here, There and Everywhere - Geoff Emerick, Howard Massey
The rage that was bubbling inside John was the most obvious sign that something was seriously wrong. There was new tension between John and Paul, and even between John and Ringo, in addition to the often strained relationship that Paul had with George and the resentment that Ringo sometimes exhibited when Paul coached him too much on drum parts. In fact, the only two Beatles who seemed to get along during the White Album sessions were John and George. Perhaps that came from the experience they had shared at the ashram—after all, they were the two who had stuck it out, staying on long after Ringo and Paul had gone back home. Maybe they felt deserted by their bandmates, or betrayed. The undercurrents between the four Beatles were so complex at that point, it gave me a headache just thinking about it.
Here, There and Everywhere - Geoff Emerick, Howard Massey
Our first night back in the studio began, as usual, with small talk and catching up. “So how was India?” I asked. “India was okay, I guess… apart from that nasty little Maharishi,” John replied, venomously. Harrison looked deflated, as if it were a conversation they’d had many times before. With a deep sigh, he tried to calm his agitated bandmate. “Oh come on, he wasn’t that bad,” he interjected, earning a withering glance. Lennon’s bitterness and anger seemed almost palpable. Ringo tried deflecting things with a little humor. “It reminded me of a Butlins holiday camp, only the bloody food wasn’t as good,” he said with a wink. I glanced in Paul’s direction. He was staring straight ahead, expressionless and weary. He didn’t have much to say about India that day, or any other. I sensed at that moment that something fundamental in them had changed. They were searching for something, but they didn’t know quite what it was; they had journeyed to India looking for answers, and they were disappointed that they hadn’t found them there… but it seemed to me that they didn’t even know the questions.
Here, There and Everywhere - Geoff Emerick, Howard Massey
“By all accounts, John had hit an all-time low [after India]. “John was in a rage because God had forsaken him,” George recalled. “Then he went and completely reversed himself. He turned from being positive to being totally negative.” According to Pete Shotton, who was spending time with John at Weybridge, there was an overriding feeling of humiliation—from the Maharishi, from the Apple Boutique shambles, from his deteriorating marriage, from what he felt was his shrinking position in the Beatles. “He was more fucked up than I’d even seen him,” Shotton remembers. “It seemed like everything was going to the dogs. He’d been desperately grasping [at] straws, as far as I was concerned, and there wasn’t even a straw there.”
the beatles: the biography, bob spitz
JOHN: How can two women split up four strong men? It’s impossible. You know, The Beatles were disintegrating slowly after Brian Epstein died, it was a slow death, and it was happening. It was evident in Let It Be – uh, although Linda and Yoko were evident then, but they weren’t when it started, I don’t think. It was evident in – in India, when George and I stayed there and Paul and Ringo left.
October, 1971 (St Regis Hotel, New York)
There was little need for me to repeat my instructions. As soon as we got there, it was obvious that things were not hunky-dory with the Beatles. Their recent month-long meditation retreat with the Maharishi didn’t seem to have helped their relationships very much, and the estrangement was definitely having an effect on their work. I don’t think any actual recording got done that night. Paul, George and Ringo were rehearsing some new songs, trying different ways of playing and singing them. Meanwhile, John spent most of his time sitting on the floor next to Yoko, chatting privately with her as she stroked his hair. He seemed no more involved in the proceedings than me and Lawrence, who watched the uncomfortable tension building from the other side of the studio. “Hey John.” Paul turned around to face him at one point. “Are you in this band or what?”
Leslie Cavendish, The Cutting Edge: The Story of the Beatles’ Hairdresser Who Defined an Era
Back at Kenwood John continued to be distant towards me. Now that we were away from the others and the charms of India, I felt increasingly afraid and depressed. John and I were back in the same bed, but the warmth and passion we had shared for so long were absent. John seemed barely to notice me. He was little better with Julian and was more likely to snap at him than give him a hug. There was just one moment of real warmth between us and that was, ironically, when John confessed to me that he had been unfaithful. We were in the kitchen when he said, out of the blue, 'There have been other women, you know, Cyn.'
John (Cynthia Lennon)
On the flight back from India, he had gotten very drunk and, for some reason, decided to confess all his affairs to Cynthia. Brutally, he ticked off a very long list, which included groupies, models, prostitutes, the wives and girlfriends of his and Cynthia’s friends and, possibly cruelest of all, Cynthia’s own girlfriends. Cynthia felt totally betrayed.
Magical Mystery Tours My Life with The Beatles by Tony Bramwell
The shattering of his faith in the Maharishi, meanwhile, had left John spiritually adrift once more; his instinctive response was to return with a vengeance to his former drug habits. (Like the other Beatles, John had totally abstained from alcohol and drugs while in India.) In retrospect, it's easy to see how wide open John was, at this particular juncture, to anything—or anybody—that might conceivably lift him out of his rut.
The Beatles, Lennon, and me - Pete Shotton
PAUL: I gave myself a set period, and then if it was gonna be something we really had to go back for, I was thinking of going back. But at the end of my month I was quite happy and I thought… this’ll do me. This is fine. If I want to get into it heavy, I can do it anywhere. That’s one of the nice things about it, you don’t have to go to church to do it, you can do it in your own room. So I was quite happy.
RINGO: I left just a little disillusioned, and John was a little disillusioned when he came back, and Paul was. [pause] George just loved it.
1993 rough cut of the Anthology series
Although Paul was the first to leave [India] disillusioned, John left in the mind of, ‘OK, well, we tried, we surrendered to God but it wasn’t God, it was Maharishi and this God thing is proving itself to be a total fallacy’ - and then went back to being The Beatles.
I left Rishikesh with John. Alex [Madras] had been the naughty boy who’d stirred everything up. John went in a rage because God had forsaken him (although it was nothing to do with God, really). Then he went and completely reversed himself. He turned from being positive to being totally negative.
I went to South India […] and everything that happened to me went wrong to the point that I felt, like John and Alex, that the Maharishi had put the heeby-jeebies in me.
George Harrison, c/o Derek Taylor, Fifty Years Adrift. (1984)
JOHN: I’ve got no regrets at all, ‘cause it was a groove and I had some great experiences meditating eight hours a day—some amazing things, some amazing trips— it was great. And I still meditate off and on. George is doing it regularly. And I believe implicitly in the whole bit. It’s just that it’s difficult to continue it. I lost the rosy glasses. And I’m like that. I’m very idealistic. So I can’t really manage my exercises when I’ve lost that. I mean, I don’t want to be a boxer so much. It’s just that a few things happened, or didn’t happen. I don’t know, but something happened. It was sort of like a click and we just left and I don’t know what went on. It’s too near—I don’t really know what happened.
John Lennon, interview w/ Jonathan Cott for Rolling Stone: The first Rolling Stone interview. (November 23rd, 1968)
Cynthia Lennon “John had taken acid once more and enthused, ‘Cyn, it was great. Christ Cyn, we’ve got to have lots more children. We’ve got to have a big family around us.’ At this point, I burst into tears … All I could blurt out was that, in no way, could I see us as he did. I was so disturbed by John’s outburst, that I even suggested that Yoko Ono was the woman for him. John protested at my crazy suggestion and suggested that I was being ridiculous. Although life went on as usual, my fears grew and I felt nervous and depressed. John was aware of my depression and suggested that, as he had to work for long hours in the recording studios for a few weeks, I should accompany Jenny, Donovan, Gyspy and Alexis on a holiday to Greece. The very thought of sun and sea really brightened my outlook.”
The Beatles Off the Record (Keith Badman)
During the spring of 1968, John was as confused, lonely, and unhappy as I'd seen him in years. Though his relationship with the other Beatles was still free of serious strain, he was seeing increasingly less of Paul and George, both of whom were now pursuing independent lives and interests of their own.
In My Life, Pete Shotton
The resentment might have been coming from a different place. With his marital problems still unsettled and Cynthia gallivanting around Greece, drugs continued to govern John’s fitful moods. He dosed himself continuously with LSD, tweaking its random effect with any spare pills he happened to find lying around the house. In the right company, it plunged John into a deep, unfathomable trance that altered between indecipherable rambling and deadpan silences. At Weybridge, into which Pete Shotton had moved in order to keep his friend company, he stayed up nights, tripping and battling wave after wave of incendiary rage. One night, after the usual snack of hallucinogens, Shotton says he noticed John moving his arms around very slowly in a circle. “I said, ‘What are you doing?’ ” recalls Pete, “but John couldn’t explain it. He said, ‘I can’t stop. There’s something making me do this. I can’t help myself.’ ” Tears followed, uncontrollable rivers of tears, intermingled with hideous laughter. When Shotton tried to comfort him, John resisted. “I’m not crying,” he insisted peevishly, wiping his eyes with the back of a hand. Suddenly John declared that he was Jesus Christ, back from the grave. “He was convinced of it,” Pete recalls, “saying… ‘This is it, at last—I know who I am.’ ” The next day the Messiah convened an emergency meeting at Apple to announce his identity to the other Beatles. Unimpressed, they said: “Yeah, all right then. What shall we do now?” After someone suggested lunch, the matter was dropped.
That night at Weybridge, in the middle of another drug-induced reverie, the TV flickered off, whereupon John, already chastened and in a self-abasing mood, asked Pete if it was okay if he invited a woman to the house. Shotton, who had no intention of staying up another night with his friend, was relieved. “Well, I think I’ll call up Yoko,” John said.
The Beatles – Bob Spitz
What happened that night can only be left to the imagination, but since it patently wasn’t the coming together of two virgins for the very first time, did Yoko do her hypnotism thing, as some of John’s friends thought she had, or did she have a powerful new drug in her arsenal? Nobody really believed that John fell in love overnight, because why hadn’t he done so before? He’d been kicking Yoko in and out of his life for over a year. Mostly, he had given the impression that he resented and despised her. So it must have been something pretty potent that made John fall headlong out of his casual affair with her into a mad obsession. Perhaps it was that he really was mentally ill and like many schizoid personalities, got religious mania. If he really did believe that he was Jesus, Yoko would probably have convinced him she was the Virgin Mary. A virgin at any rate. John was shortly to tell the world that they spent the night at the top of the house in his bloodred music room, recording the Two Virgins tape. They say that a moose in heat can waken the dead and achieve the impossible with his bellows. John and Yoko spent the night screaming.
Magical Mystery Tours My Life with The Beatles by Tony Bramwell
Whatever her reasoning, Cynthia remained determined to see the marriage through [after finding John and Yoko together]. Convinced that John still needed her, she returned to Kenwood, mollified by his apparent denial that anything improper had occurred. “For a while, everything was wonderful,” she recalled. “We could speak more openly and honestly with each other, and there really was a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.”
But the tunnel was short, and the light soon faded. Within weeks their life together had disintegrated into a revolving state of solicitude and withdrawal, resignation and despondence. Following a stretch when John became disturbingly incommunicative, Cynthia packed once again, escaping on still another vacation to Pesaro, Italy, with her mother, Julian, and a favorite aunt and uncle.
The Beatles – Bob Spitz
No sooner were they back from India, than Jane returned to her work at the Bristol Old Vic, and Paul launched into what was probably the most relaxed time of his life. He opened wide the doors of Cavendish Avenue and the groupies, who had camped as faithfully outside as they had in Wimpole Street during the years that Paul had lived there with the Asher family, were astonished to find they were now invited in. Not only were they invited into the house, but also into Paul’s bed. Whenever I went up to see Paul, the house was filled with giggling, half-naked girls, cooking meals, walking Martha, or glued to the phone for hours on end, calling the world.
Magical Mystery Tours My Life with The Beatles by Tony Bramwell
It came as a welcome relief that John and Paul, along with Neil Aspinall, planned a quick trip to New York on May 11, where several press events had been scheduled to announce Apple Records in the States. Friends agreed that getting John away might do him a world of good; being alone, with just Paul to steady him, might have a calming influence. But Paul was grappling with his own set of anxieties. “We wanted a grand launch,” Paul said, “but I had a strange feeling and was very nervous.” Drugs, he later admitted, may have been at the root of his problem; there was a lot of dope-smoking before takeoff and even during the transatlantic flight. But Jane Asher also helped spike Paul’s mood. The grudging engagement between Beatle and actress had been ticklish at best. But since traveling together in India and a subsequent ten-day trip to Scotland, Jane’s eccentricities rankled. Paul was having serious second thoughts about the relationship, which had reached a kind of critical, now-or-never stage.
Between John’s attitude and Paul’s paranoia, the Beatles were a PR nightmare. “It was a mad, bad week in New York,” recalled Derek Taylor, who met the two Beatles there to chaperone a round of press conferences, followed by interviews. Taylor had fashioned himself into a debonair drug aficionado since the Beatles first dosed him at Brian Epstein’s housewarming party, and now he and John gorged themselves on speed and a “mild and extremely benign hallucinogen” called Purple Holiday, courtesy of their New York chauffeur. The effect of it came through in the interviews. John was gallingly withdrawn and dismissive, Paul unusually distracted—which made them come off as two rich, snooty rock stars peddling another product.

A quick timeline
December 25 Paul and Jane announced that they were engaged to be married.
February 15 George, Patti, John and Cynthia flew from London Airport to India.
February 19 Paul, Jane, Ringo and Maureen flew from London Airport to India.
March 26 Paul, Jane and Neil Aspinall flew back to England from Rishikesh, leaving George and Patti, John and Cynthia and “Magic” Alex who had come out to join them.
April 12 John and Cynthia, George and Patti and “Magic” Alex left in a hurry from Rishikesh, India, after “Magic” Alex convinced John and George that the Maharishi was using his position to gain sexual favours from at least one of the female meditators.
May 11 John and Paul, accompanied by “Magic” Alex, Neil Aspinall, Mal Evans, Ron Kass and Derek Taylor, flew to New York to launch Apple in the US.
May 15 Accompanied by Linda, Nat Weiss drove John, Paul and “Magic” Alex to the airport for their flight back to London.
May 19 With Cynthia taking a short holiday, John called Yoko Ono and invited her out to Kenwood. They made a random sound tape, which was later issued as Two Virgins with the notorious sleeve showing them both naked.
May 26 Cynthia returned home from a brief holiday in Greece, to discover Yoko Ono in residence with John.
May 31 Abbey Road. The White Album sessions. Work continued on ‘Revolution 1’ and the last six minutes was removed to form the basis of the chaotic ‘Revolution 9’. Yoko screamed on the track, her first appearance on a Beatles recording.
June 4 Paul began seeing Francie Schwartz.
June 22-23 On this day Paul McCartney addressed a sales conference attended by executives from Capitol Records, where he announced that all future Beatles records would be released through the group’s Apple Records label. The day after they fell in love in Los Angeles, Paul McCartney and Linda Eastman spent much of the day together at the Beverly Hills Hotel, where he was staying as part of an Apple promotional trip.
July 20 Jane Asher, appearing on Simon Dee’s BBC Television show Dee Time, said that her engagement to Paul was off – but that it was not she that had broken it. She told Dee that they had been engaged for seven months, after knowing each other for five years. (She had arrived back at Cavendish Avenue one day to find Paul in bed with a girl named Francie Schwartz.)

A comment from Heydullblog, which I find interesting and think sums up how insufficient & unsatisfying most explanations are for how John changed during this period:

What, in all that, makes you HATE Cyn, and divorce her in the most abrupt and vicious way, even attempting to get her to commit adultery so you can give her (and your own son) as little as possible? Why not a quick and amiable divorce from a woman who, let’s be honest, knew she was getting cheated on pretty constantly since 1961.
What, in all that, makes you HATE Paul McCartney, who has been your closest professional collaborator since 1957, and engage in a five-year campaign to smear and demean him in the press? Why do you insist your millions of fans choose you or him? Why not simply pause the group, and everybody goes solo and remains friends, as was predicted at the end of touring?
What makes you DETERMINED to bust up your rock group, the most popular group in the world, the source of all your fame, money, and power?
What makes you pick Yoko Ono IN PARTICULAR out of all the groupies, hangers-on, and even sensible appropriate partners within your current circle? Eighteen months ago you were attracted to Maureen Cleave, Sonny Freeman, Alma Cogan, etc — pretty much the type of women you always picked — but now, you pick a conceptual artist offering total submersion into someone else’s ego?
And what makes you spend the rest of your life pretending all this was the greatest thing ever, the fullest flowering of your genius?
It’s not that John Lennon looked around at his life in early 1968 and thought, “I don’t want this anymore. This isn’t for me.” It’s that he lashed out incredibly fiercely, in every direction, made no distinction between friend and foe, demonstrated a huge amount of resentment and bitterness towards the very people who it would seem had helped him the most, and spent literally the rest of his short life at least arguably LESS happy than he’d been before. He didn’t dump his wife for the nanny and live happily ever after; he started a process of picking things up and throwing them away with great force that, if he’d been that way in 1957, would’ve kept any of his genius from ever emerging.
He changed, fundamentally, in a short time. Why?
Midlife crises happen, they are to be expected, but this one gets more singular the more you look at it. And the thing about post-India Lennon is how he’s no more happy, no more productive, no more self-aware, no more comfortable in his own skin, than pre-India Lennon. What does the guy in August 1980 have to be angry about? Really? It was only after I reached middle-age and went through my own version of crisis (crises) that I thought, “How strange.”

Things have been hot and heavy all night between you two. Out at the bar with his band mates and you can barely keep your hands off each other.
Both of you are completely sober. Him because he wants to keep an eye on “the kids” and you because you're driving, knowing the members won't remember much tomorrow and they don't really care what “Mom and Dad” are up to, and yet you both lose a bit of self control around each other.
His hand slides down your back and runs across your ass giving you a firm squeeze and he hums softly in your ear. He's standing behind you, lips on the ridge of your ear, breath hot against your skin. The music is loud, but he’s so close, you hear his every word.
“I can't wait to take you home.” His voice is deeper than usual, his body pressed to yours and you can feel just how aroused he is.
Your lips part slightly and you lean into him, his strong broad chest flush against your back, eyes closing slightly. If it were up to you, you'd be back in the car ripping each other's clothes off and having your way with him in the back seat. But you are both the only sober responsible adults tonight.
“Ugh when can we get out of here” you say exasperated and Impatient. He lets out a sexy low chuckle at your enthusiasm.
“You know the boys can't handle their liquor, we'll be out of here soon.”
He was right. Not 30 minutes later Jisung is whining to go home and eat and get in comfy clothes. So you all pile in the car and head to their homes to drop them off.
The whole ride Chris has his hand on your thigh, quite high up as the boys chat and yell behind you.
After dropping all of them off and making sure they all made it to their beds safely you make your way over to your apartment, all of you living quite close to one another, you're home before you know it.
Chris and you are still barely being able to remove yourselves from one another. He’s delicious tonight, clad in a black tank top, and black jeans to match, his muscular arms flexing with every move he makes as he runs his hands along your body.
He's basically attached to you as you ride the elevator up to your apartment, his lips kissing and nipping at your neck from behind you and it's taking all your self control to make it to your floor and down the hallway.
Once inside you face him and look him in the eyes. You've been craving one thing all night but you don't know how he'll react, but you feel safe enough to at least ask, or try to.
“There's something I really want to try, but you might find it weird..” You trail off, anxious, knowing he won't judge you but stressed about his reaction anyway.
His eyebrow cocks up and he looks at you waiting for you to tell him what you want.
“I.. I want your hand around my throat.” You say it but can’t look him in the eye. There is no sound but both of your heavy breathing for a second before you finally look up at him.
His eyebrows knitted together, contemplating. Before his eyes meet yours and his face relaxes and a glint of excitement shown is dark brown eyes.
“I would absolutely be willing to try.” He says, the excitement in his eyes mirrored in his voice. Next thing you know your lips are locked again. The kiss heated and impatient, you’ve been waiting all night for privacy.
You both guide each other deeper into the house, pulling each other's clothes off with every step. You're left in just your underwear and him in just his jeans when you finally make your way into your shared bedroom. He backs you into the wall, your chest arching off it to press against his. His bare chest radiating heat onto you, his breathing rapid and so is yours, as he unclasps your bra and lets it fall to the floor.
You finally pull back for a breath and look at each other. He takes you in, looking you up and down, and you do the same to him, when your eyes meet his large hands.
You timidly grab his hand and bring it to your neck, his eyes widening slightly, a light moan escaping him as his fingers wrap around your neck, not squeezing just resting there.
Your eyes roll back, something about the vulnerability of it all sends shocks through you and you want him even more than before, pressing your thighs together, looking for any kind of friction to satiate you.
The movement you make doesn't go unnoticed by him, his fingers squeezing gently around your neck, causing a moan to slip from you, as his other hand moves down your body caressing you before finding the hem of your underwear, running his fingers along it asking for permission.
“Please touch me. Please!” You whine out hips bucking up begging for his hands to ravage you.
You look so sexy with his hand around your neck, cheeks blushed, panting, begging to be touched and he can’t hold himself back any longer. He gently guides you over to the bed and you fall face down onto the mattress, your feet planted firmly on the ground, ass up face down, he thought you look perfect like this, back arched just for him.
He pulls your panties down, and you hear his pants unzip behind you.
You turn your head to watch him as he runs his fingers along the entrance of your pussy, soaking wet, you hiss, the feeling so delectable after all the teasing you’ve been doing to each other tonight.
Finally he lines himself up with you and thrusts into you, seating himself in you fully with no hesitation and no time for you to adjust. Both of you let out loud moans at the sensation, finally and it was absolutely worth the wait.
His fingers dig into your hips with every thrust of his hips into yours, the sounds of your combined moans and skin slapping skin the only sounds echoing in the room.
You come up onto your hands and he reaches in front of you, hand sliding from your hip, across your stomach, between your breast to lift you up, pressing your back against his chest as he wraps his fingers around your throat once more.
The speed of his hips is unrelenting and combined with everything else it's too much and without warning you are coming hard around his cock all but screaming in the process, thighs shaking with the sensation.
His moans and grunts are loud in your ears, the pulse of your pussy around him too much for him to bear as he pulls out and releases onto your ass and back.
You both take a second to catch your breath before he goes to get a towel to clean you both off.
Once clean, you both lay down on the bed in each other's arms, comfortable silence surrounding you both as he rubs circles into your back.
“I think that is my new favorite thing.” He says a chuckle in his voice.
You giggle and raise your head from his chest slightly to kiss his collarbone before laying your head back down.
“I should have asked sooner.”

how do you navigate your feelings towards ziam and cheryl/bear/kate/maya on top of this immense grief? i don't mean to be insensitive but i haven't found an answer for myself yet, i can't believe we'll never get answers now
(To anyone seeing this, read until the end before saying anything thank you.) Well. I'm gonna ramble a bit but bear with me. Spotify played Let Me and Common on shuffle the other day and I cried a bit. It's unfair. It should've never ended this way. But I had already accepted ages ago that we might never know the truth. I still have my beliefs. That Zayn and Liam were together. Maybe they had broken up who knows but if they did then I still truly believe their bond was a once-in-a-lifetime thing. I've gone through so many emotions this past week. But seeing the posts of cheryl etcetc or people mentioning bear (Zayn was the only one who didn't fwiw), it didn't make me feel anything. Maybe bc I had already accepted we couldn't do anything about the stunts, and/or maybe bc it's still difficult for me to accept he's really gone or bc it doesn't matter to me at this moment. Or bc I haven't actually sat down to think about what it means that he's gone. I've just been thinking of the pain all of Liam's loved ones are in right now and will be in for the foreseeable future. And I include Zayn in this. I also don't really want to think about it bc I think I might get angry. We've all seen Liam's video on snapchat from last month, where he said he was stunting and forced to do things he didn't want to do and to send help. I often used to say that I didn't understand why the boys accepted this situation instead of just getting out, consequences be damned. Ofc it's easier said than done. But I thought maybe they thought it was worth it in some way. But then, Louis got out. Zayn got out. (In some way, I mean they have privacy and a real career, like Niall and Harry). I guess I will never understand why Liam was still the only one so stuck in this shitty situation. Why couldn't he live his life in peace like Zayn and only appear when he released music? Why couldn't he find a better team or why did he even accept to go along for so long? Why did people let him? Why?! That's what I want to know. Fucking why. And I want Liam's image/reputation to be redeemed. Anyway I digressed I'm sorry.
I just sincerely hope Zayn will be ok. Jaymi who was in Union J lost his soon-to-be-husband a couple months ago (Olly was buried the day they were supposed to get married last month). They'd been together for 14 years. And Olly died in similar circumstances (a fall from the 3rd floor of a hotel). And as incredibly awful as this is, knowing that other people are going through similar grief helps a bit, and I hope it will help Zayn and Liam's loved ones know they're not alone.
Idek if I've answered your question. I guess basically the stunts don't cross my mind coz it's not important to me. These past few years when Liam was alive it wasn't important (tho I hated it) bc I accepted the boys made their own choices. And now it's not important bc it won't bring Liam back and bc his loved ones matter more to me. Now, if I'm actually wrong about my beliefs then it is what it is and I feel for his exes/gf/child, and if the maya thing is true I still think addiction made him act that way and that if he'd got a chance to really get better this wouldn't have happened again. If I'm not wrong tho, I truly feel for Zayn who doesn't get to grieve the way he deserves to. Tho I'm glad he has loved ones who know the truth and who can support him the right way.
I hope this helps. Feel free to tell me if you want to discuss this further or anything ❤️

Would it be alright to request a Shouto x reader fic where reader had a sibling who calls them names, pranks them cruelly and puts them down. Reader tries to keep it secret from her man, but can only take so much before he finds out and puts a stop to it.
HOME, HOUSE
pairing: Shoto Todoroki x fem! reader
word count: 0,7k
This sunny day felt different. Abstract. Surreal. That's how she felt at least. Today she moved in with her boyfriend after all. Their first shared apartment. Freedom, privacy and... She finally got away from her sister.
Her sister that was the golden child - Aiyo. The only reason to why [name] still didn't introduce Shoto to her family. Aiyo always had to be better, she always stole [name]'s friends, things...Boyfriends... She had to put her as low as possible. It looked like it's her only goal in life, the only thing that gave her satisfaction. To prove that she's better than [name] to everyone.
And [name] felt like she finally could breathe. It's finally over yeah? How wrong was she. Shoto wants to meet her family. And she can't say no. Why would she? They are together for 3 years now and he never met them. She would ruin things between them if it didn't work.
-You don't want me to meet them.. Why? Are you hiding something or what?- the young Todoroki asked as you were putting stuff out of boxes, feeling the freedom and relaxation leaving her as her shoulders got heavier.
-It's not like that- she tried to say but he turned her around.
-Talk to me [name]! We're together for almost 4 years! Talk to me, you never talk to me about your family. You don't trust me?- Shoto raised his voice in frustration.
[Name] sighed and nod, then just went over and sat on the floor as they don't have any furniture put together yet.
-Fine, I'll call and we'll go to meet them, just please stop yelling- She said and he just sighed and left the room.
Sunday felt so stressful, she hated it so much. She hoped that her sister somehow wasn't home then or something. [name] could make everything so that would happen, she'd be so happy if it did.
All of her hope was killed the moment Aiyo opened the door for them.
-you never said you have a sister- Shoto whispered to [name]'s ear and she just gave him an apologetic look. They went in, sat at the table and started eating, Shoto was talking with your parents, everything seemed to go well, until Aiyo came and sat to the table
-So... How did she exactly had any chances with you?- Aiyo asked Todoroki with a sweet smile. He looked at her confused and looked at [name] that just sat there awkwardly.
-Oh don't look at her like that, she always was a nerd I just wonder why you chose to be with her- Aiyo giggled, their parents not even bating an eye on that.
Aiyo fixed her hair and looked Shoto in the eyes, ignoring her sister completely. -I'm free if you got bored of her- she giggled stupidly.
-I would be shocked if you actually had someone- young Todoroki said coldly, shocking everyone at the table, even [name]. He never acted like that before.
-W-What?- Aiyo asked confused.
-I would never even look at someone like you. To be honest I don't know how much of a looser someone would have to be to date you. And never speak about my girl like that again- he said in annoyance.
-okay okay, uh.. Maybe lets just eat? Mom made her special soup- [name] said, and quickly took Todoroki's hand in hers to calm him down a little.
After the dinner everyone went to put their dishes to the kitchen, Shoto came back to grab last 2 cups and was stopped by Aiyo's voice
-Lets start over again- she said and went over to him, then put her hand on his shoulder, which caused him to turn around and shove her hand away from him.
-ugh I'm better than her in every way, and you'll either break up with her or I'll tell everyone that you tried to kiss- Aiyo stared speaking in a furry. But she haven't notice one thing. That her parents were standing in the doorway of the dining room.
Shoto scoffed and gave her a cold shoulder as he went to put the dishes away, on the way he told the older couple - you better watch this whore and be grateful that I won't take this any further, no wonder that [name] didn't want to take me here. You're all crazy-
As he found [name] in the kitchen, cleaning the dishes with worried look he hugged her from behind -What's wrong?- he whispered and she just turned around and hugged him.
-I'm sorry, this day was awful- she said quietly and he only smiled
-It was quite entertaining to be honest, come on, were going home, away from this house-

Batshit Soulmates Part 6
The second one today. I'm trying to get through my backlog because I have almost twenty chapters that are finished and ready to be posted. And that isn't counting the fact that with my daily goal of 400 words a day, I'm definitely going to have more than that the longer it takes for me to post.
This here is my schedule for the next two weeks, but as I said, since I'm always writing, that "return to one chapter a day" on the 11th? That's probably a pipe dream. So I might end up adding a fourth day to my posting schedule so that I can at least put out a chapter a week for each of my WIPs.
We'll see.
For this chapter we have fun times at the Wheelers (heavy sarcasm), that talk and a cliffhanger? Yeah, a cliffhanger.
In Medias Res| Prologue|Pt 1| Pt 2|Pt 3|Pt 4|Pt 5|
****
They had been traveling awhile when Eddie decided to get the lay of the land by getting higher.
Which was great in theory until he saw the vast expanse of...shit he didn’t even know how to describe it other than evil. And it stretched as far as he could see.
He turned around to get back down when Nancy called out.
“Don’t step on the vines!”
Eddie froze. “Uh what now?”
“They’re connected to the Upside Down,” she said with a huff.
Eddie looked to Steve to translate.
“They’re part of a hive mind,” Steve explained. “You step on a vine and basically you’re stepping on Vecna and basically everything else in this hell hole.”
“Shit!” Eddie hissed as he tried to come up with a way to get down without waking up the whole Upside Down to their presence.
“I was thinking that now would probably be a good time to get my guns,” Nancy murmured.
Eddie finally decided that fuck it, he was just going to by pass all the vines jump down.
He landed deftly on his feet and as he pulled up his jeans a little he said, “You, Nancy Wheeler, have guns at your house? Guns as in plural?”
Robin pointed excitedly at her. “I know, isn’t she bad ass?”
“I have a Russian pistol,” Nancy said with a cock of her head, “and a revolver.”
Steve huffed out a laugh. “You almost shot me with that one.”
Nancy smiled back and with a teasing lilt to her voice replied, “And you almost deserved it.”
TWAP!
Steve stepped back with the force of a denim vest being thrown in his face. He looked up at Eddie in shock.
“For your modesty, dude.”
Steve looked down at the vest in confusion. “Wha–”
Just then there was great big roar and the ground shook. Robin tumbled into Eddie and Steve barely managed to catch Nancy before elbowed him in the side.
Steve and Nancy were able to keep on their feet but Robin and Eddie fell to the ground.
Eddie looked at Robin and then back at where the noise came from.
“Guns are really starting to sound good right now,” Eddie muttered.
Robin looked back at him and nodded. “Oh yeah.”
Eddie was rubbing his shin as Robin’s heel had kicked it on her way down but his brain turned off when he saw Steve walk by as he pulled on Eddie’s vest.
Shit. He had miscalculated on that one. He hadn’t wanted Nancy Wheeler to ogle his soulmate but he didn’t take in the fact on how hot Steve would look wearing his battle vest. He only barely managed to help Robin to her feet before he was hoping forward to catch up with Steve.
His little lizard brain lighting up with, “Hot boy! Must follow hot boy now,” as his feet danced around the vines to be by Steve’s side.
And just maybe Steve wanted it too, because as Eddie fell in step next to him, Steve blushed and ducked his head.
Eddie grinned up at him as they made their way through the darken forest of the Upside Down.
****
Eddie kept looking over at Steve, who was looking like he had merely taken a tumble in gym instead of being eaten alive.
And yeah that was hot, it was also worrying as fuck. Eddie was starting to think that maybe Steve wasn’t a dick, the dude was just traumatized.
Robin and Nancy walked slower behind them to give them some privacy. Finding your soulmate in the middle of the end of the world, again, sucked.
“Hey, I wanted to thank you for saving my ass back there,” Steve said, softly.
Eddie bumped their shoulders together. “You saved your own ass, man. What you did there was very Ozzy.”
“Who?” Steve asked, confused.
“Ozzy Osborn? Black Sabbath?” Eddie prompted. Steve’s confusion only deepened. “He bit the head off a bat on stage.”
“Wha?” Steve said, rearing his head back. “I don’t know you’re talking about.”
Eddie smiled faintly. “It’s okay. All I was saying that that was a very metal thing you did back there.”
“And metal is...good?” Steve asked, unsure.
Eddie chuckled. “Very.”
“Thanks,” Steve said, grateful the dirt and grim of the Upside Down hid his blush.
They walked on for a few moments in silence. “I was so jealous of you, by the way.”
Steve reared back his head. “Me? Why?”
“Dustin talks about you all the time, man,” Eddie said. “Like all the time. Never shuts up about you, in fact. The kid worships the ground you walk on. Called you a badass on more than one occasion.”
Steve scoffed. “Dustin thinks I’m badass?”
“Oh, yeah,” Eddie said thoughtfully. “I think I just couldn’t accept that Steve Harrington was a good dude, you know? Rich parents, popular, good with girls, not a douche? There was no way. It just flies in the face of life, the universe, and everything. Including my very own Munson doctrine.” He twisted the rings on his fingers nervously.
Steve reached out and gently took his hand.
Eddie took a deep breath and let out it slowly. “I’m still jealous because you’re the real deal. I’m learning that outside DnD, I’m no hero. I see danger and I turn and run. Or at least that’s what I discovered about myself this week.”
Steve squeezed his hand. “Hey, give yourself a break. There was nothing you could have done about Chrissy, okay?”
Eddie let out a shuddering sigh. “The truth is that if those two ladies hadn’t dived in after you, I would still be up in that boat. I don’t know how you managed to get the loyalty of two of the smartest girls in school, especially with one of them being your ex, but holy shit dude. Nancy just dived in no hesitation.”
But before Steve could answer another rumble ripped through the Upside Down.
“Jesus!” Steve hissed as Eddie said, “Here we go again!”
They clutched each other as they struggled to remain on their feet. Steve looked up at Eddie and his breath stopped in his chest, tightening like a vice.
They were so close that Steve could taste their mingled breathes. He yearned to just lean forward and–
Robin tapped his shoulder. “Come on, let’s get to Nancy’s before another quake hits us.”
****
When they got to Nancy’s room, their hope for salvation turned to ash like the dust falling from the sky.
“What do you mean they don’t exist?” Eddie hissed.
Nancy looked like she was going to cry. “The Upside Down is stuck in 1983. Most likely the day Will vanished and I didn’t get my guns until after.”
Even Robin looked disappointed at not being about to see Nancy’s guns.
It truly seemed like all was lost when Steve suddenly stopped.
“Holy shit!” he cried. “Can you hear that?”
Nancy and Robin shared a glance.
“Hear what?” Nancy asked.
“Dustin!” Steve said happily. “I can hear Dustin! And Lucas! And Max!” He giggled.
“It’s like they in the walls!”
Eddie grimaced. The pain must be really getting to the guy if he was hallucin–
But then he could hear it too. Steve and Eddie shared a look and they turned, booking it for the door.
They thundered down the stairs and they noticed the golden light glittering around the chandler.
But now the girls could hear the kids too. It sounded like they were in trouble.
All four them were drawn to the light. It was warm and comforting. And god, Eddie couldn’t stop touching the light.
“It’s warm,” he muttered.
The other three reached up and touched the glittering glow. Steve and god, how Steve seemed to watch to reach out to him as well.
“Does anyone know Morse code?” Nancy asked, trying to figure out how to communicate with the right side up.
Steve shook his head and even Robin wasn’t clueless.
Eddie licked his lips. “Um...does SOS count?”
Nancy nearly screamed at him, but let Eddie do his thing. They managed to communicate with Dustin, Erica, and Max, who had somehow gotten themselves under house arrest. Or whatever the hell the cops wanted to call keeping children against their will.
They managed to find a way to communicate with them through Holly’s LiteBrite. And so Dustin rambled at a million miles per hour about gates and murders and Vecna.
“Does anyone understand what he’s talking about?” Nancy asked.
Everyone shook their heads. So she simply sent back a single question mark.
“How many times do I have to be right on the money before you guys trust me?” Dustin screamed.
Steve sighed. “Jesus Christ, this kid has to get his ego in check.”
Eddie leaned over so that he could talk to Steve around Nancy.
“It’s his tone, right?” Eddie asked.
“Yes!” Steve agreed, happy that he had someone who understood what a menace Dustin was at the best of times.
Basically it boiled down to needing to get to the nearest gate. Eddie’s trailer.
“Which great and all,” Eddie huffed. “But let me tell you, Forest Hills is no easy walk from here.”
Nancy looked around at them like they were stupid. “The kids left their bikes here. There should be four of them in the garage.”
Steve rolled his eyes. But they all dutifully followed her out to the garage.
The bikes were tiny. God, are they minuscule. They all climbed onto the bikes and rode all the way to the trailer park.
And if Eddie hung back to watch Steve’s ass all the way there... fuck you, no he didn’t. The view didn’t hurt, though.
They made it his trailer and they laid down the bikes in front of it. Eddie began to shake. Frozen in fear. He couldn’t go back in there. They couldn’t make him.
They could find another ga–
Suddenly there was a warm hand on his shoulder. “I know you don’t want to go in there. But we need to get back to the Right Side Up, breathing the shit down here isn’t good for you.”
Eddie gulped, but nodded.
“I’ll be right beside you,” Steve continued softly. “If you need to, take my hand.”
Eddie instantly latched on to Steve’s hand as he led the group into the Upside Down version of Eddie’s home.
He stumbled a bit as he saw the great, big, red, pulsating...wound.
“Shit!” he whispered, a little awed and a lot scared. “That’s where she died. Like right where she died.”
Steve squeezed his hand gently. “I’m sorry, Eds. We just need to find a way to contact the kids and get us out of here, okay?”
Eddie looked around at his home and just wanted to cry. Nothing was where it was supposed to be and yet exactly where it was supposed to be. And that really fucked with his head.
Nancy looked up at the gate. “It’s too high. There’s no way we can get to it without help.”
Steve and Robin looked around trying to see it there was something that could be used to pry it open from below.
Eddie knew he should help them. He knew where things were kept. But he just couldn’t move. All he could do was stare up at that red wound in his ceiling pulsating with a sick twisted form of life.
Just then something poked through it and Eddie screamed. He didn’t mean to, but the sound had escaped his mouth before he even knew what it was.
What it was when Steve got him calmed down enough to actually see it, was a shovel.
It didn’t make him feel any better, until that curly little mop of hair stuck through the now decent sized hole in the ceiling.
“Henderson!” he cried in relief.
“There you are!” Dustin called back. “Do you think that you guys can work it open from your end while we work it open from our end?”
“Is everyone okay?” Steve asked.
“Yeah, we’re fine,” Dustin said. “Let’s get you guys out of there, okay?”
Between them, they were able to get the Gate open and a mattress set up to catch their fall.
“What are those stains?” Robin sneered.
Eddie looked up at them and licked his lips. “I, um... I don’t know what they are, honestly.”
Robin’s lip curled. “Gross.”
The truth was that Eddie really didn’t know. He had gotten it used a couple of years ago when his old mattress fell apart. They could have been there from its previous owner for all he knew.
“So who’s going up first?” Steve asked.
“Not you, pretty boy?” Eddie teased.
Steve blushed. “I want to make sure everyone else gets up there okay.”
Robin eyed the sheet rope and then said, “I’ll go.”
Steve nodded and watched carefully as Robin scaled the rope. She flipped around and landed on the mattress with a flomf!
Dustin helped her to her feet.
“That was quite fun actually.”
Back in the Upside Down, Eddie looked at Nancy and Steve, but neither one moved, so he shrugged. “I guess that means I’m next.”
This was Eddie’s least favorite part of gym, climbing rope ladders. He didn’t ever see the point. Though getting detention for pointing out it was part of the military industrial complex was one of his best days in that class, so...
Up he went. It wasn’t that he couldn’t climb the damn thing, he just loved ranting about having to.
“Okay, Nancy,” Steve said. “You’re next.”
But she didn’t answer. Steve turned to her but she was just standing there. He called out to her again.
“Nancy?”
Eddie’s head immediately popped back over the gate. “Shit!”
Steve shook her shoulders, but she remained immobile.
No, no, no, no...
Not Nancy!

CW: Low level sim spice & Language - Guide to Content Warnings
Coleman: Was he making fun of my name or was that an old person joke
Jackson: Fucked if I know. Hey Glenn, Glenn, did you get a prize for second place
Coleman: Don't worry if you didn't because we know just what to get you
Glenn: And what would that be...
Jackson: We'll... throw you a pity party!
The twins burst out laughing but Glenn finds it easier to shrug off than he thought he would. Hey if their taunting was going to help him move on, bring it!
Glenn: Wow, did it take you all day to think of that? Or did you need to workshop it the entire time I was busy
Jackson: *laughing* A pity party! Watcher I'm hilarious
Coleman: I'll play you a moving ballad on my violin so everyone can cry as much as you
Jackson: And I can write a special poem on the death of your relationship, it'll be all poignant and stuff
Glenn: Because you know all about relationship death right
Coleman: Oh, want some ice for that burn bro
Jackson: At least I get laid. You went for how long and didn't get any tail? Embarrassing
Glenn: Not really. Some of us are looking for more than just physical connection
Coleman: Unlike those guys that got it on in Grayson's bed
Jackson: *chuckling* Dude that was so funny
Glenn: Actually that was beyond a violation of privacy and trust
Coleman: What do you think? Glenn's mad because he wasn't invited to join them for a threesome
Jackson: Like he'd even know what to do with a dick other than faint. First or second loser probably still has his cherry
Coleman: If you're nice to us Glenn maybe we'll let you practice on us. But one at a time because we're queer not incesty
Glenn: Thanks but infant is not my type. Neither are people who make up words like incesty. A real vocabulary is attractive, you should think about investing in one sometime
Jackson: You're just mad we're young and fresh faced
Coleman: And depressed you're going to be single forever
Glenn: I survived far worse than your taunting when I was growing up you know
The twins smirked and stood up. For a moment Glenn thought through what shielding spells he knew but it turned out that they were just refilling the food bowls for their dogs who were coming in. Thrash was white with a blue harness, and Throttle was black with a red collar.
Jackson: Thrash! Throttle! Food!
Coleman: Oh hey Glenn, why didn't you pet Olive? The challenge for that day was literally interact with Olive. Did the producers not tell you
Jackson: Are you like anti dog or something
Coleman: Even idiots know if you want in with the owners you spoil the pets
Jackson: But not so much that you're stealing their affections. One time I tried befriending this girls cat and she said she'd rather I sleep with her sister so I did
Glenn: Look, I'm not actually here to talk to you two
Coleman: Oh no, we've been slighted. I'm gonna die from that blow
Jackson: How will my social life ever recover if Glenn the first or second loser won't talk to me
Glenn: Phoebus said Henri would be here
Coleman: He'll get back from the bakery in a bit unless he's shagging another customer
Jackson: He can't stand to be without us for long
Coleman: We're his favourite people
Glenn rather doubted it but it seemed in poor taste to criticize legal orphans for claiming to be beloved so he let them carry on.

My heart can't take it 2- Pablo Gavi
The first part here - is one of my favourite fanfiction of him
Masterlist
Finally, I managed to end this one. It's been some time, and I'm sorry for the wait, but I wanted to write it in the right way and to give you a well-deserved ending. Thank you for your messages and unconditional support! I see every request of you, and seeing that you want me to write your ideas makes me the happiest! Have a nice day, love yourself, and enjoy this! Love to all of you!🫵
I couldn't answer to only one of you because it wouldn't have been fair, so I tried to mention all of you here and announce you whenever it's ready.
I've been writing this for days..
-------
'Que las noches sin ti duelen'
"How many times do we have to listen to this song, Pedri?"
"What? You don't like it?" he turned to look at his friend who was next to him in the car.
"It's not like I don't like it, I just got bored of it"
Pedri laughed.
"Are you sure that's the reason?" he teased.
"Ok, end it here" Gavi said before the two of them sat silent in the car, while the music was still on.
Pedri was taking Gavi home again after the training. It was already 5 p.m. and tomorrow, they have to do some videos about the new Barca kit, so the moment Gavi went to his house, he went directly to his bathroom to take another shower.
"Why is he showering again?" his sister questioned her mom, being concerned about her little brother. He already showered after his training in the changing room with his teammates.
Her mom remained silent until she decided to continue the conversation.
"It doesn't seem like he is good. Are you sure you don't know what happened to him?"
Of course, she knows. He's been acting weird since the night their friend groups went together on the beach. She knew that you were the reason for his sadness. She stayed with the boy all night while he was crying in her arms. He never told the reason, nor did she asked, because as his older sister, she knows when Pablo is suffering towards a girl. Although, Aurora never told their mom this thing. She respected her brother's privacy.
"No" she just answered simply, before going to her room to not continue this subject.
It was true that Pablo Gavi was showering more lately, which doesn't seem so weird until you question yourself about it. He stays hours in his bathroom.
Crying.
He hadn't seen you since that day and it had been almost 4 weeks. He missed you a lot, and he had no one to talk to. He knew that his sister would be mad at him for falling in love with her friend, who didn't even talk to him, and Pedri.. he was going to make fun of him. He had to keep it all to himself, and the emotions sometimes got him. Crying while people think that he's showering was the best idea that came into his mind. Like that, his family wouldn't hear his sobs.
He didn't eat.. not yet. Aurora started to get more concerned, so she knocked at his door.
"Mami made you some pollo con arroz, want to come down to the kitchen to eat?" she asked hoping for a positive answer.
"Maybe later, gracias"
She barely heard him, but it was enough to know that his voice wasn't his normal one.
"Estas bien, hermanito?"
"Si"
That si had to be a strong word, but it only came from his mouth as a sob.
His sister felt like someone had just broken her heart. Hearing her brother at the edge of crying was something so hurtful. Pablo was one of the sweetest guys, and he doesn't deserve anything that could make him sad.
She waited a few seconds after talking again, trying to find the perfect way to say what she wanted.
"Come here, Pablo"
"Come outside, I know you aren't showering right now. Let's meet in the kitchen in 10 minutes. You have to eat and we to talk. I'm gonna tell our parents to leave, we'll be alone."
After that, Aurora left.
She managed to find a reason for their parents to go out of the house, and when Pablo came and sat on the chair that was in front of her, her heart broke again.
His eyes were red and puffy. The boy clearly had been crying for hours!
She didn't say anything more, only went to him and hugged him. Tight. Pablo returned the hug, trying so hard not to cry in front of his older sister. He accidentally escaped some sobs, but Aurora didn't mind. She hugged him until he calmed down completely.
"You have to tell me what is happening to you, Pablo. This is something serios"
"It's nothing, Rora."
"I know you, Gavira" she said with a serious face.
"I am just scared that the next season I won't play that much" he lied
"Oh, you're getting on my nerves. I really want to help you, but if you keep lying to me, then we won't go anywhere. I won't get mad, I promise you."
"I..I really like one of your friends," he said after some time.
"Go on" she encouraged him.
"And she doesn't give me attention at all. We barely even talked, and I'm sure that she doesn't feel the same way as me. She doesn't even look at me as a friend."
"Y/n, right?"
He started to panick at the thought that she knew.
"I'm so -" he wanted to apologise until he was interrupted again.
"It's ok, Pablo. No worries, ok? It's not your fault that you like her-"
"Kinda love her," he said sadly before turning his head to another direction, afraid not to cry again.
Aurora smiled. Pablo Gavi was never this soft. He was a sweety, of course, but she never saw his little brother like that, and she kinda likes the idea of having you even closer.
"You don't have to worry about me, hermanito. Go talk more to her and I'm sure she will like you. You are a great boy, and let's be serious. Who wouldn't fall in love with you?"
They both laughed.
The next day, Aurora invited her friends to their house.
------
"Will Pablo stay with us?" asked one of Aurora's friends.
"Yes, he has some plans to do," she said, and they all looked confused.
"What do you mean?"
She just winked at them and then started laughing.
"Ohh, he is in love, isn't him?" You finally spoke after being quiet for a while.
"Oh, you wouldn't know," answered his sister before you borrowed your eyebrows, confused.
You decided not to say anything anymore, but you felt some pain in your chest, and when you saw Gavi walking past you to sit on the couch near some girl, your heart felt like it just had broken. Your eyes couldn't not look into his.
He wasn't looking at you. Of course, he wouldn't. He is a famous football player, he is for sure in love with some influencer or with a beautiful lady that has the perfect body.
The truth is that he wasn't looking at you because he knew that if he would, he couldn't stop moving his eyes away from you. He knew that if he saw you, even for a second, he would lose control. He couldn't even stand the fact that you were there, far but so close to him.
Aurora saw you looking intense at her brother, so she decided to help both of you.
"Hermanitoo, come here a second, por fa"
"What?" answered the boy after standing up while going near his sister.
"If you really want to stay with us, then we should play something together. God knows when we will stay together again like this. We have to enjoy every minute!"
"What game?"
"Truth or dare!"
"Oh, I'm not playing that stupid game of yours"
"Then you won't stay with us"
Everyone was cheering for Gavi to play, but the only thing that made him not go was you. He really wanted to stay with you. He even sat down beside you, really, really close to another.
The truth is that you hate this game. You never enjoyed playing it, but this time, you felt like you wanted to stay.
You feared that something was to happen, and when it really happened, you couldn't do anything but panick hard. Of course, Aurora would ask you something like this after you said dare.
"I dare you to kiss my brother!"
"What-no"
"It's a dare, y/n"
You argued a lot with his sister, and you didn't even realise when Pablo turned your face into his, and he touched your lips with his. The kiss was everything you've ever imagined, and it was the best one you've ever had.
When you looked into his eyes, nothing was coming out of your mouth. You couldn't love this boy, could you? He barely even talked to you.
Gavi, on the other side, was the happiest that he finally managed to do that, and he for sure winked after to his sister as a "thank you". She only returned his smile, being happy for the both of you.
You didn't say anything until it was late and you decided to go home.
Pablo somehow excused himself, finding a way to be only with you. He didn't even know where this courage came from, but he was so thankful for it.
"I'm sorry you had to kiss me" you finally spoke.
"It was just a game after all, it didn't mean anything"
Oh, and how stupid he was for saying that. Full regret starting to feel in all of his body.
You couldn't say anything. You froze there, not being able to leave the room.
You knew he didn't feel the spark that you felt. Even yourself couldn't believe that this past weeks all you thought about was him. The moment he kissed you, your heart felt like it healed and was the best feeling you've ever felt in a while. You felt alive and.. happy.
He knew he fucked everything up.
"I'm so-"
"It's ok. Really. Like, I get it!"
"What-"
"No, like- I get it you don't.. like me. I get it that you don't even want to.. talk to me? See me? I completely understand you. Maybe I would ruin your career if people see us together. Maybe-"
"Para!"
"Maybe you just stood with us, because your girlfriend couldn't meet you today or-"
"Y/n, para!!"
You did anything other than stop yourself from talking.
"And I can't even believe myself how I managed to be like the other girls. To.. start to like you and-"
"You what?"
Now you only stopped, just because you realised that you said it out loud. It was like you admitted yourself to what you feel for him.
You started to panick and quickly got out of his house, with him following you.
"No, wait!"
He managed to take your hand and stop you.
"You like me?" he said softly with tears in his eyes.
"No, it's just-"
"Dime la verdad, y/n"
He had hope in his eyes.
"Por favor.."
You looked at him. You just couldn't stay there and lie to him. Lie to those pretty eyes.
"I don't even believe myself for this-"
"Tell me!"
"Joder, yes! Yes, I like you!"
He smiled.
"I can't believe this."
"Lo siento, Gavi. I know you-"
"No! Don't say anything anymore. You know nothing. You have no idea how long I wanted to hear you say it. To hear that you like me."
He looked into your eyes and smiled.
"Can I kiss you..please.." he finally found the courage to say it.
You were shocked. Completely shocked.
He laughed at your face, but knew that you wanted it so he did it. He kissed you.
This time, it was different. It didn't feel like it was something rushed. It was slow, full of love and adoration.
"I've liked you for so long, you have no idea. Now, can I finally call you mine, amor?"
You smiled widely.
"Por supuesto!"
I hope I didn't disappoint you with this one..
I have so many ideas of how could I have continued this, but it would have been too long, but I could make a part 3???
When they say "I love you" for the first time or when they introduce their relationship to their friends and families?
I can also do one where we have y/n's version of the story????
What do you say about it?
Shall be a part 3 to this one??
Thank you for the waiting, and thank you if you are reading this. It means a lot to me that you also read this part and took some time of yours to enjoy my stories. I wish you a nice day and don't forget.. love yourself!!
I have a request that asks him "Jealous Gavi," so it will be out soon. I hope that it will be really soon done. I'm working on it

Changes chapter 21
< Previous chapter
Series masterlist
Julie was quiet as she walked down the beach. The fresh spring breeze felt cold on her skin, but at that moment, she couldn't care less about the discomfort the cold brought her. Today was the day. This was it. If everything went right, tonight it would be over. Tonight, she'd no longer be stuck following commands set by a sire she couldn't remember. Tonight, she'd gain her voice back.
But before all that could happen, this needed to happen. Julie had figured that with the way she, the boys and Max, had planned out every single detail that she'd be less nervous. They had taken everything into account.
Greg would kidnap her. He would have to feel as if he did it all alone, as if she didn't know about his plan. She would have to let him take her. Because - and this was the part she was probably most anxious for - he would then take her to the headquarters of COL. Company of Life. Ironic name, Julie thought to herself as she kicked up some sand, seeing how they took her life away from her.
Even though she was walking down the beach alone, she knew she wasn't truly alone. David and Dwayne had both promised her that they'd be close by and that they'd follow her. She would not go to COL alone. It was a small comfort.
While Dwayne and David were here, making sure she would stay safe, the others had gone to visit the location Max had found in Berkeley. Max had been certain that it was the location of their headquarters and scouting out the location beforehand would be beneficial.
It had been hard to convince them that it was necessary. The way they tried to get their answers from that low-level employee they'd kidnapped - it would get them nowhere. That ma truly didn't know a single thing they could use. Julie wanted to end this, and quickly - so the widow calling Max and telling him what she had overheard? It seemed the best and quickest way to finish all of this.
Still, as Max had hung the phone back on the receiver, he had been weary while telling Julie. She, however, as much as the idea of being kidnapped scared her, realised immediately that it could also be an opportunity. If she was taken, and the boys followed - then she'd be in no danger, right?
David had been hard to convince, but when Max showed him the note Julie had scribbled, he gave in. "If this really is how you want to do it, then we'll do it this way." He'd sighed, sounding more tired than she had ever heard before. She'd given him a soft smile, nodding. Dwayne only wanted to know if it was her plan or not, and since it definitely was hers, he agreed to it.
Marko, however, was the hardest to convince. He'd taken Julie out of the kitchen, all the way up to her room, to have some semblance of privacy.
"Why do you want to do this? What if we don't find you soon enough and those fucks start torturing you again?"
Julie sat quietly on her bed. She hadn't really given it a thought. She had just assumed that the boys would be there to help her if necessary.
"I know you want to end this, but like this? You got to think this through - it's a bad plan, Julie!"
She shook her head, glaring at Marko. If it was a bad plan, then surely Max wouldn't have agreed to it in the first place? Right? If it was a bad plan, surely David and Dwayne wouldn't have agreed to it? And maybe Marko was right. She hadn't thought everything through, but did she really have to? The only thing she knew for certain was that Greg would kidnap her and that COL wanted her. You couldn't really plan around those two facts, right? No one would know what would happen.
Marko had left the room, stomping off when he realised that Julienwouldnt change his mind. In his stead, Paul entered her bedroom, sitting down next to her on the edge of her bed. Julie sighed as she leant against him, Paul wrapping an arm around her shoulder.
"You're really certain about this?" Paul asked quietly. Julie nodded.
"Do you think you're ready to do what needs to be done?"
The girl looked at him with a slight frown.
"Can you kill your sire?"
She thought for a moment before nodding. No matter how hard it was, she had to. Paul sighed, puling her closer.
"If this happens right, you'll be free. Don't you dare get yourself killed, alright?"
Julie nodded, looking at him. She wouldn't. At least, she hoped she wouldn't.
Julie stopped walking down the beach, looking out over the dark sea. Waves came rolling in, washing ashore and disappearing back into the sea. The moon had risen above the water, giving it a silver sparkle. She looked at the waves, sighing softly. It was so quiet, so calm, so peaceful, so-
A cold, smelly rag was pushed into her face from behind. Julie froze before struggling against the tight grip she was in. The rag smelled horrible, the chloroform like chemical inside it making her drowsy. "That's it," she heard Greg say before Julie sank to her knees, no longer able to keep herself standing up. Greg continued to push the rag against her nose, and no less than a minute later, she was out, laying unconscious on the beach.
Greg grinned as he saw the girl, knowing that he was this close to getting Shelly back. He grabbed the unconscious girl by her legs, dragging her away from the beach. A long trail appeared where he dragged her, sand gathering in her hair and clothes. Greg had thought about lifting her up and carrying her to his cartrunk, but he couldn't be bothered. He still believed that she was the reason why Shelly ended up missing, so if he could make her trip a little bit more uncomfortable, then he would. She'd just have to consider it as payback.
Once Greg reached the stairs leading to the boardwalk, he had no choice but to lift her. There were some people scattered around still, despite the boardwalk closing about an hour ago. With an annoyed grumble, he grabbed her arms, lifting her up over his shoulder. Her arms swayed a little as he walked, and for a moment, he thought about tying them behind her back. If only he had taken that rope from home. It didn't matter. Within ten minutes, he'd be by his car, and she would be locked in the trunk.
His dark red Plymouth fury was right there, waiting in the parking lot. Unlocked as always. No one dared to touch what was his. He opened the trunk and let the girl fall off of his shoulders into the empty space. It was a tight fit. He had to fold her arms against her chest and curl her legs up - but it was just enough space. She wouldn't be comfortable, but then again, Greg thought, kidnapping wasn't supposed to be comfortable. He closed the trunk, locking it, before getting behind the wheel. He turned the engine on, then the headlights - and then he was off, racing away from the parking lot down the darkened streets of Santa Carla towards the rendezvous point.
Shelly had struggled against the arms that held her, had struggled against the strong hand that tied her arms behind her back. She had looked desperate as she was dragged away from her cell, leaving Maria behind. "What are you going to do with me?!"
No one answered. She was taken through the dimly lit corridors, taking up some stairs, down some other, turning left and right, until they finally went up some stairs again. They went through a greenhouse, through the hallway of what looked like a school until they were finally standing outside.
Shelly took a deep breath, finally breathing in fresh air after those weeks locked in there. She looked at the two men who'd taken her up, seeing they'd been joined by four armed soldiers. Shelly frowned. What the fuck was this?
She was led to a black van, allowed to step inside herself, before one of the soldiers attached a chain to the rope that tied her arms behind her back. Even if the car stopped, or if it was hit, she wouldn't be able to get out of here on her own. The four soldiers stepped into the back of the van as well, one of them having his gun pointed at her, the others chatting away about Sunday brunch as if this was just another day for them. With a slight shock, Shelly realised it probably was.
The van drove off, and she was quiet as she wondered where they'd be taking her. Was this how they got rid of her, taking her away from that place and then killing her in an empty field? Shelly tried to stop thinking about that, hoping that Maria had been right. Someone would find her, and she'd be saved. But still, as much she tried to take some of Maria's positivity, she realised she didn't feel any of it. No. This was the end. It had to be.
With a sudden jerk, the car stopped moving. The driver jumped out, and Shelly heard him talking to someone outside. The back of the van opened up, the four soldiers stepping out first, the last dragging Shelly along. She stumbled a bit as she stepped out, looking up to see-
"Greg?!"
"I did what you asked," Greg told the driver, taking him to the trunk of his Plymouth fury. He opened it. The driver had a sickening grin on his face.
"The boy's right! Hand him the girl, Fred, Ben - empty the trunk. Make sure she got nowhere to go."
It happened so quickly. Shelly was being pushed into Greg's arms, crying quietly as he held her tight, whispering that he'd always find her. Shelly looked up, wanting to answer, when she saw who the soldiers were taking. The girl that had angered her so much that night almost a month ago now. That mute girl, who the people inside that place still laughed and joked about. That same girl who had had to endure so much more pain than she had - and now she was being taken again.
"No! No, let her go!" Shelly tried to push away from Greg, but with her arms still tied to her back, she couldn't. "Don't do this! You don't have to hurt her!"
"You don't know shit, girl!" A soldier pulled out a gun, pointing it at Shelly, who quieted down immediately. "If you know what's right for you, you keep quiet. This thing is a danger to humanity."
With those words, the van door slammed shut, the van driving off into the night. Shelly sank to the ground, still being held by Greg. He untied her quickly, holding her close.
"Why did you take her?" Shelly asked through her tears.
"I needed to get you back. This was the only way."
"They'll kill her, Greg. The things they've done -" she burst out in tears, crying as she held her boyfriend tightly. Not once had she thought that she'd see him again or that he was actually looking for her. But knowing now what these people could do, realising what that mute girl had already been through - she didn't know if she was willing to pay the price.

I'll be bitter for a minute and say it: i think the terror for how good it is, is also very partial on crozier on being #1 mister only good colonizer in the arctic, and i sort of hate it because the change happens only because he sobers up. and sure alchool makes people cruel, but sobering up doesnt make them perfect. he went from let silna be left on the ship without protection/kick her out for the tuunbaq if she doesnt help us/ rip the guy that died to get me a bottle of whisky, anywayy to peace and love on planet earth lets us all take this walk together while i share words of wisdom and love with this other colonizer who's also very sorry he didn't do anything good with his life. Crozier started the journey at least as a heavy day-drinker and i understand how that's different from heavy alcholism but at the same time i can't imagine all of crozier's faults being the consequences of whisky alone. and having him overcoming his alcholism and wising up immediately after being clean for a few weeks is FOR ME a terrible writing choice that paints him as being naturally good and his 'bad' behaviors coming ONLY from the alchool. yes he sees blanky getting hurt and that's starts his sobering up path. but that's not enough for me. the people (other characters state aloud for the audience) he loves more than god loves them are dying left and right. and i really dont care if corzier cares about the crew or not but if he cared he should have cared about them even when he was drunk and not remembring about their wellbeing AFTER he got clean. i'm not saying you cant enjoy crozier. i just believe his character development isnt earned and that he got it only because he's the designed good character that canonically survives in the book. i dont think that him shitting himself for a few weeks while sobering up can count as having the emotional development to go from one extreme to the other. especially because everyone else is also there sufferring physically and psychologically even more than him due to the fact that their all stranded in the arctic and dying of scurvy and no one else in the crew could have the time off work, privacy and attentions to heal. crozier being the 2nd on command and then captain used his power to become a drunk and later to clean up. and i just dont believe that a man who abused his position like that from the beginning just becuase he was pissed he couldnt marry the woman he wanted suddently stops abusing his position because he's now clean and pure. TO ME it's a bad writing choice that is also force-fed to the audience with the line 'more than god loves them' so that you get it for sure that he's the good guy who cares about people not like those others evil characters who would do anything to survive like killing innocents and being racist (the good guys could never. except they canonically did- but wait, not in THIS continent so it doesnt matter) and eating people (which is a sign of being naturally evil, no matter the circumstances) or following a religion in a desperate last chance of survival (again no one on the good guys side would put religion above good sense and the safety of fellow human beings. in this continent?? maybe? ugh)
in summary i think the main flaw i find in the terror is how much it still tries to draw a line between good and evil. instead of just trying to portray the human disperation for their mortal condition. how much having to come face to face with tuunbaq must destroy all of those men convinctions on what life/afterlife are (for what i remember it just addresses it for tozer AND in the SCRIPT) nobody else gets a life shuttering experience. it's either the devil, then good christians should be safe, or it's a different religion, then what?? what do you do when your life looses its meaning? and the answer for most of the charactes was 🤷♀️guess we'll think about it after this awesome party we're about to throw. i dont want this to be about religion, but these men are wrecked in every way, there's nobody to save them and everyday they're a little more in pain than the one before. there shouldnt be a camp of the good men lead by the strong and wise one who take care of their sick and lets the dying die peacefully with morphin. while in the bad guys camp they eat people and have evil laugh competitions and kill their sick with knifes bc giving them poison might make them unedible. and specifically those evil guys where also the reason why the expedition happened to hurt the locals, the good guys have nothing to do with it.
i dont think there's nothing wrong (narratively) in doing anything to survive. even if it's something cruel, because those men are at the end of the world alone, it's at least realistic that they'll try everything to avoid death. crozier(and jfj even if offscreen) gets to be cruel at the beginning of the story but by middle point they're shown to be sad (about unrelated things) and spend the last few episodes being kind and brave (and forgiven by the narrative) while their chance at character development is uniquelly given by their ranks. in the meantime the consequences of those cruelness (only hickey, because we dont get to see survivors of jfj trip to China, if he left any) dont get the chance to heal and change because hickey's position of subordiante never allows him to be really safe, and because his torture was public, automatically making every witness taking the side of the perpetrator. hickey's never given weeks off work to recover because he got lashed because of his own actions. hickey doesnt get words of wisdom from a companion because in his mind everyone agreed with crozier in him deserving the lashes, (except maybe tozer? but even that isnt that clear cut) hickey, manson and hartnell also magiaclly heal from the lashes after a few weeks (even when ANYOTHER character cant heal because of scurvy) so the narrative can't held crozier accountable for the pain he caused.
the good guys and the bad guys' actions are treated differently by the show. even when the good guys actions should have consequences and the bad guys' shouldnt. the narrative has already decided which sins will be forgiven and which will be punished. and it's a bit annoying to me because for how wonderful the terror is, i cant help but feel like i'm being spoonfed a narrative about morality when at its core the story is about humanity.
#terror critical#this is a much longer rant than i expected#if crozier has 0 haters it means i'm dead. if jfj jas 0 haters then i'm dead#it's a bit annoying i say after writing idk 1k words??

could i request a fluffy blurb of rockstar eddie taking sephy on her first holiday when shes a baby 🥹
ofc love <3 anything for you!!
"She's a tiny little thing, ain't she?" Wayne hummed, cradling his granddaughter in his arms, propped up on his thighs so he could look at her.
Persephone was two months now, still tiny and growing into her features, but old enough she didn't do the little newborn scrunch. When she'd stopped, it had made Eddie unexplainably emotional. He'd pouted all day with her in his arms, moping about how she "was growing up too quick already".
The vacation had been Eddie's idea. To go out to the Laguna Beach house, not too far but away enough for privacy. Out of the city and out of your house, where you'd cooped yourself up for the first few weeks of being new parents. Both of you were too scared to take her out, the paparazzi alone made Eddie want to keep her inside, and the car was a whole other thing. Yet somehow you'd agreed to go a few hours up the road, the first car ride with baby Seph, and with Wayne of course. He'd agreed far too easily to come stay with you for a while, help the two of you out while you adjusted.
"She's gained a pound." Eddie said proudly, beaming from his place by the open windows, the soft crashing of the waves was lulling Persephone to sleep after her feeding. It must've sounded like her sound machine at home because she'd gone down so easily.
"Lookie there." Wayne beamed at you, eyes crinkling and shining when they met yours. "Told ya she'd be alright."
You had a brief panic a few weeks ago, worried that Persephone was too small, that she wasn't growing the way she should. Wayne assured you babies went through it, and why you trusted him, your nerves never settled. Until the doctor proudly announced that she's started to gain some weight. Just a pound but still, it was a victory to you.
"She eats enough I'm surprised it wasn't more." You giggled, looking down at your baby girl with pure adoration. The tiny faces she'd make even while sleeping- God, she was such Eddie's child. She was getting more expressive every day, wide eyes that would look around, just watching and taking in everything.
"Think she likes the sound of the water." Wayne nodded, thumb caressing her little fat cheek, grinning when she curled into his touch.
"Yeah," Eddie agreed, walking behind you, hugging you to his chest sweetly. You leaned back into him, your own hand finding his arm, stroking it gently.
"I'll go put her in her crib," Wayne stood slowly, shushing Sephy when her face crumbled, clearly upset about the movement.
"I got her." Eddie said quickly, stepping to take her from Wayne. "We're about to go unpack anyways, so I can put her in there."
Wayne nodded, a final look at his granddaughter before he passed her to Eddie gently, moving his hands so he supported her head. "If the two of you are gonna be a while, I'm gonna lay down." Wayne stretched slightly. "That drive was brutal."
You smiled, padding behind Eddie. "I think that's a good idea. The chef should be here later to make dinner. We'll see you later, Wayne." You went one way following Eddie and Wayne went the other.
Only, the two of you didn't sleep. Even two weeks ago, you would have been passed out on top of each other the second she was asleep, far too exhausted to do anything else. Now, maybe it was routine or comfortability, but you had grown used to not napping all the time. More well rested.
Persephone laid between the two of you, both of you watching her sleep. Every tiny baby yawn or stretch or squeak in her sleep had the two of you looking at each other, melting in adoration.
"Sometimes I just look at her, and it's like I can't even comprehend she's real." Eddie muttered, his finger tracing down the tufts of hair on her head, so soft and downy. "Like we made this. You carried her inside of you and now she's like a real thing that's here. Moves and breathes and eats and all."
You giggled lightly, reaching your own hand out to touch him, scratching at his scalp. "And poops and cries and bites my nipples off." You added playfully.
Eddie snorted in amusement, looking up at you. Your heart skipped, his eyes so sweet, so full of love that you thought you might melt under them. "You're fucking amazing, you know that?" Eddie muttered. "The best. Better than I deserve."
"Don't say that." You blushed.
"It's true. I never deserved you but now... You're so out of my fucking league it's not even funny. On a different level." Eddie admitted, his own hand reaching out to cradle your face.
You nuzzled into his touch, the ocean behind him making the most gorgeous scenery. Serene and peaceful and exactly what you needed to relax.
"You know you had a part in making her too." You gave him a pointed look. "Takes two."
"Yeah, but I had the easy part. You did all the heavy lifting." Eddie scoffed gently. "And I can't thank you enough. I really can't. You're just... you're the best person I've ever known." Eddie's eyes shined when they met yours, his jaw clenching with emotion. "And I've known a lot of people."
"And I'm the best?" You choked out, your own eyes watering. You'd blame it on your hormones still raging, though you knew better. Eddie always made your sappy and sweet like this, for no one else but him.
"The absolute fucking best. No competition." Eddie grinned. "I love you."
"I love you." You whispered back, leaning in over Persephone's head. He kissed you sweet, tender, much slower than he would have in his earlier years. It was all gnashing teeth and mean kisses to prove who was more in control. Not now, now he took his time, kissed you like you were his lifeline. To him, you were.
Eddie ended up opening the windows, sitting with Persephone on the balcony later when she was awake. Her in his arms, pushed against his chest so she could watch the water. You didn't have the heart to tell Eddie it all looked like blobs to her, so you sat next to him, head on his shoulder while he babbled away to her. The breeze from the water wrapped around you, comforting and thick, it made you relax finally.

Filling Empty Spaces (Amy/Mitch), part 244
Mitch and Amy find an unexpected connection due to absent lovers. Set around season 11->.
A/N: I didn’t have a beta for this story, so hopefully there won’t be too many grammar errors.
****
Jack and Lisa arrived back at Heartland later that day when Lou and Georgie were getting the dinner ready and Amy was playing with Lyndy in the living room. Wyatt had gone home, even though Lou had extended the dinner invite for him as well, but he had politely declined as he had had to get home already and help out Jen.
Amy didn't know if it was her own paranoia created out of her nervousness, but for her it seemed like Grandpa was acting strangely and Lisa, too, was being somewhat quiet as she was cleaning the cooler after their trip to the fishing cabin.
When Amy had asked Jack if he had caught any fish, the old man had just muttered his incoherent answer and quickly disappeared to "check if he had left his glasses in the truck".
Amy's plan was to tell Jack and Lisa about Mitch today, even though the atmosphere wasn't necessarily perfect for it. But was it ever, really?
As the family gathered around the table and everyone started to dig in, the odd silence continued. It was as if no one wanted to talk about anything which was not typical for these family dinners.
The good thing about having Tim over for dinner was that he always came up with something to discuss - whether others would have preferred him to keep quiet or not - but he was not here tonight, so they were on their own.
Thankfully, Lou sensed the tenseness as well and started a conversation when everyone had food on their plates.
"So, who was that I heard you talk to in your room earlier, Amy?" she asked, feeling pretty confident that it wasn't Mitch so she could freely inquire about it.
"Oh", Amy hummed, then realizing maybe this was actually a good conversation topic, even though she had kind of wanted privacy for it by closing the door earlier. "That was Soraya, actually."
"Oh, really?" Lisa asked, sounding curious. "She called all the way from England?"
Amy nodded, swallowing a small bite of carrot even though she couldn't really taste it and didn't feel like eating to begin with.
"Yeah, it was a video call. We had a lot of catching up to do, and she told me about her wedding."
"Wait, Soraya's getting married?" Lou gasped, delightfully.
"Yeah, late August", Amy confirmed, helping Lyndy with her food.
"Are you gonna go to England then?" Georgie guessed. She had only met Soraya briefly at Amy and Ty's wedding, but from what she had gathered, Amy and her friend used to be very close. "Or is she getting married here?"
"Well, I don't know yet. We'll see", Amy admitted, then remembering something. "Weird thing, though. She said she had texted me, asking me to contact her. It was around the time I got admitted to the hospital. I don't remember reading them, but my phone said that I had seen them already."
"Oh, that is strange", Lisa agreed, cutting her asparagus into smaller bites.
Meanwhile, Lou coughed, almost choking on whatever she was eating. She quickly grabbed her glass of water and tried to wash it down.
"You okay, mom?" Georgie checked, watching her mother across the table with concern while Lou's face was turning red.
"Y-yeah, I'm okay..." Lou finally said, waving her hand next to her face, hoping it would help her cool off. "Should've chewed that one better..." she lied, gently caressing her neck to help her sooth her throat.
"Maybe I just don't remember", Amy said after it seemed like Lou was fine. "The doctors said they still don't know the full extend of my memory loss, so maybe I read it close to waking up and just forgot."
"Quite possible", Lisa agreed. "Then again, sometimes phones glitch too, so... could have been that as well."
"So, Lisa, Grandpa", Lou changed the subject and directed the conversation elsewhere, "how was the trip to the fishing cabin? How's the house coming along?"
"It was..." Lisa began, checking Jack's face. The old man had not said a word during the dinner and looked like he wasn't in the mood to have any conversations. "...interesting. They're slowly getting back to work, and if everything goes according to a plan, we should have a house by the end of the fall."
The way she began sounded mysterious, but as she got to the end of the sentence, she seemed more sincere again and actually looked excited as well.
"That's great news", Lou agreed. "So the old cabin stays there... yes?"
"Oh, yes", Lisa confirmed, taking a sip of wine. "Your grandfather wouldn't let me tear that down - not that I even want to", she hurried to add with her left palm open next to her face, almost like was pleading innocence.
Amy smiled, listening to her. She could barely imagine the conversations Jack and Lisa had had about the plans. It was a miracle Lisa had convinced Jack to do anything at that plot to begin with.
"I mean, it's such a special place for Jack - and the whole family. While someone could think it's... an eyesore", Lisa added with caution, "I think it adds history and charm to the whole plot. Authenticity."
"Have you ever even been there, mom?" Georgie teased Lou, knowing that she preferred the luxuries the cabins at the Dude Ranch offered instead of "the authenticity" the fishing cabin provided.
Lou frowned and forked the small tomato on her salad.
"Of course. I might not go there often, but we sometimes went there when I was younger. Isn't that right, Grandpa?" she was looking for him to back her up if her convincing wasn't enough for her daughter.
Jack simply nodded while eyeing his food.
"See?" Lou pointed to Jack and then shrugged. She loved proving others wrong.
"Just hard to picture you in hip waders..." Georgie snorted.
"Who says I was", her mother said back and frowned.
"Then you weren't doing it right", Georgie scoffed. Even she had worn them back when she had gone fishing with Jack.
Lisa laughed. "Well, when you all come over, hip waders are optional - I promise..."
****
When the family was done eating, Amy helped Lou with the dishes even though Lisa had argued that she should be taking it easy. But the younger Fleming sister insisted that she wanted to start taking part in the house chores again whenever she had energy for it - and now she did.
While Lou was rinsing the plates by the sink, Amy put the leftover food in the fridge.
Even though the dinner had ended up being somewhat pleasant in the end, Amy wasn't that pleased with herself since she had let the opportunity to tell Jack and Lisa about Mitch slip pass her as Grandpa had gone to the barn to help Georgie with the night chores and Lisa was drawing a bath for Lyndy in the bathroom.
"Grandpa was awfully quiet this evening", Amy began the conversation with her sister, wondering if it had just been her imagination due to nerves or something others had noticed as well.
Lou thought it over and nodded. "Yeah, I guess. Maybe he was tired. I mean, he barely leaves the house these days; going off to the fishing cabin always takes a toll on him."
"That's true", Amy admitted, haphazardly folding the washable napkins so they could be taken to laundry more easily.
"I gotta ask, though, since I haven't been here the whole time", Lou said, now placing the plates in the dishwasher, "how's he been with the idea of moving out from Heartland? Can't be easy for him."
Amy shook her head. "No, it's not. But at the same time, I haven't forced him out; this is his dream with Lisa - or that's what they've said to me, at least."
"I know", Lou hurried to say, not wanting Amy to think that she was accusing her of something, especially because she was hoping to talk to her about the phone thing soon. She needed Amy on a good mood - or at least on an okay mood. "But maybe it's dawning to him finally, seeing the house come along, what's actually happening. You know how he is with change. It could make him thoughtful and quiet", she suggested.
"That might be it", Amy agreed since what Lou was saying sounded like Grandpa. She then looked around as it seemed like there was not much to do in the kitchen anymore. "Do you mind if I join Lisa and Lyndy in the bathroom?"
Lou shook her head. "No, no. I got this. But... can we talk later? There's something I want to tell you."
Amy nodded. "Of course. After I've put Lyndy down for the night?"
"Yeah. Sounds good."
"Okay", Amy said, grabbed the napkins and started to make her way to the bathroom where Lyndy was sitting in the bathtub and Lisa was on the edge of it, making sure the little girl wouldn't slip.
"How's it going over here?" Amy said with a grin as she peeked in through the open doorway.
Lisa glanced at her way. "Good. How are you feeling?"
"I'm okay. -- I brought these", she said, flashing the napkins, "but mind if I join you too?"
"Not at all, come on in", Lisa said, gesturing inside.
Amy walked in, closed the door behind her and threw the napkins to the laundry basket. "Can I ask... Is everything okay with Grandpa?"
Lisa watched as Amy walked in and finally sat on top of the toilet lid. "What makes you ask that...?" she wondered.
"I don't know, he just seemed... quiet during the dinner", Amy shrugged. "Was just wondering if maybe something happened at the cabin."
From the look on Lisa's face, Amy could immediately tell that something had happened, but also that her grandfather's wife was currently weighing if she should share or not.
"Lisa..." Amy said, her tone insisting.
Lisa sighed, checking on Lyndy before she would bring her focus on Amy. "Okay... Something did happen", she admitted.
So I didn't just imagine it, Amy thought to herself.
"But... I don't quite know how to tell you", Lisa admitted, "even though I strongly feel like I should tell you."
Amy frowned. "Now you're making me worried."
Lisa sighed and then gestured on top of the sink counter where her phone was. "Can me hand me that? I'll guess I just show you."
Amy reached out to get Lisa's phone and then placed it on the older woman's open palm. Lisa thanked her and then looked through something, squinting as she didn't have her reading glasses on.
"I recently had Trace install a camera into Venus's stall because I wanted to keep an eye on her in case there's anything going on with the foaling. I know it was pretty premature of me, but..." she explained, as Jack had already gone through this with her, "that's another story."
Lisa didn't feel like getting into her frustrations with the construction schedule they had fallen behind with due to Amy's coma, or how that had manifested into her being super efficient in other parts of her life, because it was no longer neither of their concern, and Lisa also felt Amy didn't need constant reminders of what had happened to her.
"Okay..." Amy commented as she had known about this.
But it was good for her to know - and smart thinking on Lisa's part. It all just proved why Amy had been right to trust her to help with Venus's gestation and - eventually - foaling.
"The camera captures video clips every time there's movement in the stall, and then I get a notification about it so I can check what's happening", Lisa explained, and based on the movement of her eyes it looked like she had found whatever she had been searching for. "Around this time of the year, it shouldn't really activate itself, as the horses are outside most of the day, but... something happened earlier today that set it off."
"Oh?" Amy asked curiously as Lisa handed her the phone with a serious look on her face.
She looked at the footage playing where instead of witnessing a horse moving in its stall, it was a video of her and Mitch earlier from today, kissing in front of the camera without having any idea that they would be caught "on tape".
The blood from Amy's face withdrew in the matter of seconds and she could hear the sound of her own heartbeat against her eardrums.
It was not only strange to watch herself - and Mitch - from this point of view, but also realize that someone else had seen their private moment as well.
They had tried to be so careful, hiding from Trace's sight, only to get caught in a bigger, more permanent way.
Lisa saw the look on Amy's face when the situation was revealed to her; she herself had probably looked almost identical when watching it all happen all the way from the fishing cabin.
"Now, obviously I was confused about what was happening when I got the notification and opened the app, and when Jack noticed it, he wanted to know what was going on", Lisa explained, regretfully. "Now, it's none of my business what you do with your life, as long as you stay safe, but... your grandfather..."
All Lisa could do was shake her head.
Amy handed the older woman her phone back in a state of shock, fearing it would slip from her trembling hands if she didn't.
"He saw this...?" Amy checked to confirm what she was hearing.
Lisa nodded. "Yeah, we both saw it. I realize now I should have told you about the camera, but it slipped my mind with everything that's been going on. I didn't think it was relevant at the time, especially since you had other things to worry about after coming home, and... I feel bad. Like this is my fault."
Now it was Amy's turn to shake her head. "No. It's not your fault. I know you had no ill will. You were only thinking what's best for Venus", she tried assuring her with a shaky voice.
She trusted Lisa enough to know that despite her emotions being all over the place otherwise.
Lisa looked after Lyndy while the girl was happily playing in the water, not having any clue what was happening around her. It offered Lisa a moment of relief away from the tension of this situation.
"I was actually planning to tell you both. If not tonight, then... soon", Amy wanted to say. "I was just waiting for the right time, but... now we're pass that."
Even though she had not had any clear plans, at least making a decision to tell had been something she had to clung onto.
Now, that was taken from her. What would she even do now?
"Do you want me to talk to Jack?" Lisa offered. "It's because of me that you didn't have a chance to tell us the way you wanted, after all."
Amy gave her head a shake. "No. I don't want to put you into that position. This is between me and him. I'll... talk to him."
"Now?" Lisa checked.
"Probably should do that sooner than later", Amy figured.
"Okay. Well... I'll take care of Lyndy", Lisa promised, because right now she didn't know what else was there to do.
Amy sighed. "I was really looking forward to our night time routine..." she admitted, feeling like she had already been apart from Lyndy too much today.
"There's always tomorrow", Lisa comforted her with a faint smile.
Amy appreciated her care.
"Thanks, Lisa. I hope you know how much you mean to me. Not just because you help me, but... in every other way too", she wanted to add, feeling like after going through a trauma she had, it was never a bad thing to say things out loud instead of just thinking about them.
"I'm glad to be part of your life and have you be part of mine", Lisa said, looking a little bit moved by Amy's words. "And whatever Jack says, just try to keep in mind that you shouldn't be doing the emotional labour for him; we can't always control how we feel, but it is each of our choice what do as we react to those feelings."
Amy nodded, getting up.
"I needed that reminder. Thanks, Lisa."

The School Trip - Ch 2 - Afternoon.
Summary: So you got the kids to their destination. Good luck being in close quarters with the hot English teacher.
2.5k
Warnings: 18+, swearing, fluff, flirting, annoying teenagers.
Chapter 1
"OOo, miss and sir are sharing a room." Jayda giggles with her friends as they walk past you towards their room down the hall.
"None of you guys wanted to share with me," you shrug, "even though I'm way cool and I've got like, so much rizz. Right Mr Todd."
"So it's their fault you've gotta share with a boy." Jason laughs, clicking the door open to your twin room.
"Exactly."
"You guys are gross." The girls yell before they start whispering to each other, running off down the hall.
"Kids right?" You look away, pushing past Jason and sitting yourself on the bed. Truth be told, the last thing you wanted to do was share a room with the girls. They need their privacy and you do not want to be kept up all night with their antics. You had tried to get you each your own room, but the hotel was small and the school wasn't going to pay for anything nicer than this. It's blind luck that they even had a twin room left, with the kids taking all the family sized ones.
"You didn't exactly tell them no." Jason says throwing your bags on the counter. The room fills with a wired silence as he stares down at you, "why don't we have our own rooms?" He asks, with a smile on his face. His eyes tracing the delicate lines of your legs. He blinks a few times, hoping that you didn't notice.
"You worried I'm gunna give you cooties?"
"I mean, have you got cooties? Because I don't think there's a cure for it."
"Maybe? So what if I do? Its only because there are so many kids, and they are booked out," you change the subject, unsure about where this conversation and the way he's looking at you, "had to divide the kids up and they only had one room left. But you can always go and share with the teens, I'm sure that'd be a hoot. You could learn witchcraft or talk about theoretical physics. Or ya know, the bus is empty."
"Or I can stay here and watch you read?" That does sound appealing. He was watching you on the bus and you had the cutest expression while trying to contain your excitement. It's curious, what makes them so thrilling for you? He wouldn't mind finding out.
"I mean yeah, or you could go for a walk."
"Have you got another book?"
"Excuse me?"
"A spare, something I could read?"
"You- what? Don't you have your own things to read?"
"I know you've got more than one of those slutty.books on your bag. There's no way it's that heavy with clothes."
"Why do you wanna read them? Aren't lit teachers supposed to be snobby and all about the classics."
"Could be a classic one day, everything good started out being controversial."
You shuffle from your bed, slipping down and flipping your suitcase open, "we'll I've only got 3, which do you want?" You pick up the books throwing them on the bed.
"This looks interesting," he says, snatching the one with the large demon on the cover, "what's it about?" He flicks through the pages, his eyes glaring over the words. "Late Night Deal?"
"Yeah, especially."
"Cool."
"Might go grab some sun though, wanna go outside and read?" You throw a dust cover at him. "Whack that over it first."
"I'm sure it's going to be believable that I'm reading," he turns the cover over, "Halliday's fundamental physics."
"Better than them thinking you're reading Late Night Deal. That cover really doesn't leave a lot to the imagination."
With a roll of his eyes, Jason slaps the cover over the book, slipping his phone into his pocket and heading out into the sunshine.
You watch him go, surprised at how easy this is. You had thought the weekend would be weird, that sharing a room with the hot English teacher would be torture. He's always been kind in your limited interactions but with a face like that, you had convinced yourself he'd be full of himself, the classic English teacher snob. But he seems so nice and genuinely takes interest in your less than perfect book taste. The way he smiled at you when you talked on the bus about the trip, like he just wanted to hear you speak. Fuck, why isn't a dick? That's what you were hoping, that he'd be awful and the stupid crush you have on him would die at the surface level.
You take another book, your sunglasses and head down to meet him at the small park just outside of the hotel.
Xx
"Ah, I'm going to need some help here." He calls from the other side of the park, your seat on the hotel patio resting just under the cover of the awning while he opted for the full sun seats.
You drop your book, rushing to his side as he tries to grab the sea of papers that's littering the lawn. "Dude's, what is going on?"
"My book exploded and my notes!" Keira calls as she and the other girls try to grab the papers flying around in the wind.
You and Jason rush to help, gathering up all the notes, laughing as you run through the small grassed area. "That ones getting away," you shout as one fly's up near a tree and you both rush towards it.
"Here I've got i-" Jason's cut off as you rush into him, "woah there," he grips your shoulders. You look so cute with sweat on your brow annd your hair fucked by the wind, "I think it's stuck in the tree."
"Get up there and get it then." You suggest taking a step back, trying to keep your eyes from his and the weird tingly feeling it gives you.
"Can't reach," he looks up into the tree with his hand shading his eyes from the sun, "maybe if I lift you up?"
"That- ah.. wouldn't be appropriate. "
"Certainly be less creepy than me lifting one of the kids up."
"Fine," you shrug, defeated, "just don't drop me."
"I wouldn't." He assures you, his hands gripping at your waist as he effortlessly picks you up.
"Bit higher," you stretch your arm out, the paper so close, "nearly there," you lean your foot into his stomach trying to elongate yourself so you can get it, "got it."
You grab the paper and suddenly you're falling, wondering how you even got so high and then the sun's gone and something heavy lands on your stomach.
"Sorry," Jason smiles apologetically, "you got me in the diaphragm. Did you get the paper?"
"Yeah, right here," you cough, the air caught in your lungs from where you fell and not from the way he's looking at you, "we should get up."
"Yeah before-"
"Ooooo!" All the teenagers sing song together before bursting into laughter.
"Too late," you laugh along, pushing him the the chest before displaying the saved piece of paper above your head.
Trying to gather yourself up, you rush over to Keira and away from Mr Todd. Handing them to her with a stern warning to keep a hand on her things.
"Not much time for relaxing now," Jason says, picking up your book from the ground and relaxing back on the bench a few meters from the students. The scent of your perfume still lingering on his button down, he pulls it from his chest, trying to shake the smell from it. He fails miserably as the scent spreads and he tries to hide his face in a book.
"We've still got half an hour before we gotta feed the hoard," you lay down on the opposite bench, your book shielding the sun from your eyes. You hear the girls laughing, pages being turned and you start to finally relax.
Xx
"Yo! Young people! Can we all sit down please?" You try to call over the loud laughter that's echoing through the dining hall of the hotel.
The teenagers ignore you, too engrossed in their excited chatter as they try to find somewhere to sit. With a huff you, sit down in your seat, content to wait them out until they quiet down.
"Who wants to come to the state library tomorrow instead of star labs?" They all turn, staring at Jason in shock, "be a great place to learn to be quiet." All the shocked eyes turn to a glare as they each take a seat and lower their chatting.
"Thanks." You say as Jason takes his seat next to you, "they can get a bit too loud sometimes. Like they're worried they Wong be heard over each other and-"
"And it gets louder and louder." He finished for you, "Yeah I know, you should've heard my class after we watched 10 things I hate about you. Swear they'd been possessed by demons or something."
"Oh I love that movie. Is that why they came into my lab and tried to put their fingers in the bunsen burners?"
'Yeah, most likely. They were quite taken with the main characters."
"Me too, I had such a crush on him when I was a teen."
"Oh really? You got a thing for bad boys?"
"Not at all," you shake your head, "but a good boy who looks bad? That's every teenage girl's dream."
"Did you grow out if it?" He leans in, his fingers slipping up the exposed patch of skin on your arm. He catches your eye and when your eyes dart down to his hand on your thigh, then to the teenagers around you he pulls back, clearing his throat, "It's a great way to get them interested in Shakespeare. I've got she's the man ready to go next, I can't wait for them to see it. They're going to lose their minds.
"What's your favourite kind of cheese?" You laugh, your shoulder brushing against his as you rock back on your chair.
"Why miss, are you hitting on me?" He says as he turns to you blocking the kids from you and with how big he is it almost feels like you're alone at the table.
"I-" You reel your blood start to heat up "- it's from the movie, right?" He stares into your eyes.and you feel other parts of you warming up as well "- it's a joke."
"Shame." He leans back into you, his arm resting on the back of your chair, "my favourite cheese is brie. Soft cheeses are melt in your mouth good." He glances down, his eyes following the line of your tongue as you lick your lips, "but you know what."
"What?"
"It's hard to find a good cheese," he sits back slightly, putting some air between you, "they always expire or are too crisp or I can't see them in my fridge. Somehow I always miss seeing the cheese right in front of me."
'Hmm," you cough, trying to regain your composure in front of 30 kids and the man that's starting as you like you're a snack, "deep thoughts on cheese then, cool. Cool. Cool."
The waitstaff start to bring out everyone's meals as you settle yourself and you let out a tiny thank fuck. Readjusting your seat to put a bit more distance between you, unfortunately your leg brushes against Jason's and you feel the sting lighting zap zing up your leg. Shit.
The noise of the kids fills up the room again and you find yourself grateful for all their questions about tomorrow needing something go distract you from the handsome teacher beside you. From the way he keeps trying to subtly look at you and the way your only noticing this because you're doing the same.
The rest of dinner goes by smoothly, he's still very close. His arm occasionally brushing against yours and your knees touching the whole night. But with Mason in front of you, telling you how excited he is for tomorrow you find some peace in his distraction.
Xx
"Cute pjs," you remark, pulling back the covers on your bed and setting eyes on the.man walking out of your shared bathroom, "you look like a giant teddy."
"Yeah," he pulls on the brown button up that's trying its best not to pop open, "was kind of last minute. I didn't think it would be appropriate for me to sleep in my sweats, with someone else in the room."
"I really don't care. I'm so tried, we're whatever you want."
"Maybe I want to look like a teddy bear," he moves towards his bed, his body squishing to fit through the tight space, "maybe someone will want to cuddle me."
"Wh-ye-" you cough out, jumping into bed in an attempt to hide your face, "goodnight."
"Good night," he whispers back, slipping into his own bed. He sees you facing away pulling a pillow from under his head he turns to his side, wrapping his arms around it. He hopes he dreams about cuddling you, about being your big teddy bear. If he can't have it in real life, a dream would be sufficient.
