11. Is there any OC of yours you could describe as a “sunshine”?

Physically, Prism is made of light. However, talking to hir is a lot more akin to the experience slipping on a muddy sidewalk in the rain, skidding through wet dirt before landing on whichever body part is least comfortable, and also there's a middle schooler laughing at you, so we're going to put hir in another meteorological category.

Otherwise! eGor has quickly become my most hopeful, most warmhearted of the bunch? eGor's whole existence is an inherently fraught one, that creates dense emotional complications in the people it loves most. And yet, I don't think eGor's story ever really stops being one of love, of being given unwavering support. Seeing a brighter future is built into the heart of eGor, and it's not going to stop reaching for it.

14. Introduce an OC with a tragic backstory

One that I hardly talk about is Atlas, who was tricked by a malevolent fae to stand in one spot for 40 years, so that he could act as furniture and hold up that fae's table. Despite the fact that there's no overblown death or gore in there, I still find Atlas's story to be oddly harrowing. It's one of being stuck, of having all your effort go into something that is outwardly worthless, but the alternative is collapsing.

17. Any OC OTPs?

I UHHH don't really ship my own guys very often? 8)" They're more likely to divorce each other behind my back. I think it's nifty to figure out what relationships would look like between them, but I tend to deconstruct it or zone in on the messy or unrequited.

That being said, there is like............. one that's suddenly cropped up to strangle me from behind. Just goddamn bludgeoned me. I'm. I didn't plan for it and it just happened. I'm almost averse to saying who's involved, because I think half the fun of ~them~ is the specific path of their idiotic journey towards holding hands?

Rest assured, there is Stupid Feelings Stuff happening behind closed doors. Consider this is an invitation to badger me about my WIP since apparently my most comfortable avenue to explaining the mystery-TP is actually writing the dumb thing.

38. Which one of your OCs would be the best dancer?

Out of everybody, Prism has the most experience dancing professionally. Zi was just born to vogue. Zi can strike a pose so fast it'll clip you out of this dimension. As a semi-physical projection of light, zi can even cheat, by scattering mirror images of hirself as hir own back up dancers.

Honorable mentions include: One (1) Calluna, who did ballet during her youth and will stab you if you mention it- One (1) Lucy, who comes pre-installed with a multitude of copyrighted dances- and one (1) Roxanne, who has dipped into interpretive dance to add an extra oomph to her slam poetry nights. Xeno thinks xe belongs on this list but xe does not.

🎬 What genre would your OC be into? and 💀 If they were one of the 7 sins, what sin would they be? for Prism and Margot?

🎬 Besides MTV music videos zi is nostalgic for, Prism barely clicks with most media. Zi might wind up putting on those 2 hour long youtube videos about internet drama, but its more background noise. The exception to this is when Pretty Little Liars was on netflix, and zi absorbed all 7 seasons into xer soul. Zi could still explain the plotline in depth if you asked, and probably still has a conspiracy board made out of polygons of light in hir room.

Margot is much more of an "audiobook while working" kind of person. She will never admit to it in a thousand years, but there is one fantasy series involving absurdly intricate family trees and dense royal politics that she is hooked on, and plays it over and over again. It's just the one series, though. If someone tries to make recommendations of similar things in the genre, they'll get a "No thanks, I already have a book" before getting hit with bug spray.

💀 Before I started developing Prism, I would have said pride- and there's definitely a case there, but I actually think you could put hir somewhere between Envy and Sloth. Prism is cosmically disinterested, finding every mortal categorically underwhelming- but zi also is frustrated that zi is surrounded by people who can find beauty and joy in the mundane world.

Margot, on the other hand, is definitely Pride. There is simply no other thing that dictates her life as strongly. Unlike sssome so called "scientists" around here, she's got a reputation at stake, and something to prove.

⚙️ What are your ocs thoughts on science & art? Which do they give more importance to? how much value do they place on each?

Prism is- an odd case. Zi is an artistic soul, and places immense emphasis on aesthetic- However, if you asked hir, zi would say zi sides more with science than with art, with objective fact over fabrication. In some ways, this makes sense- zi understands most things through wavelengths of light, and the best language to describe the minutia of that is scientific.

This gets muddier when you realize hir idea of what qualifies as hard fact is- pretty heavily distorted? Zi has a habit of treating hir own beliefs as objective truth, and only accepts new ones when it aligns with hir preconceived notions. Zi sees hir own beauty as an indisputable fact, an involuntary sensation zi inflicts on everyone around hir. Aestheticism is not a personal choice or up for debate, its hard fact. Hir view of the world is simply more correct than other peoples.

In summary,

🕷️ What is their biggest fear? Do they have any irrational / mundane fears?

Ginger is, in actuality, scared of pretty much everything. She is a small, chewable treat in a world full of animals and teeth, and doesn't know how to cope with it except by behaving like a wild animal. The world is already big and confusing when you're 9, it's only moreso when you've been in the mouth of violence.

Shyloh, on the other hand... Shyloh is harder. She's not fearless- fear can be a perfectly healthy thing to foster. Fear keeps you careful, keeps you aligned. For Shyloh, fear is something that distinguishes her from the hivemind of fungi she is tapped into- the rot doesn't feel, it only consumes.

If Shyloh were honest with herself, she would say a few things scare her. Formaldehyde, bleach walls, the syringe smile of a bargaining God. Those she will admit to- but she won't admit to being scared of death.
