Chapter 20: I Need Some Coffee...
20/?
There was a new person working at Shouta’s favorite coffee place. This wouldn’t be unusual in any other establishment, but the old man who ran it was very particular about who he let in the back.
A few years back, the place was under investigation for possible ties to the black market as well as aiding vigilantes. A customer reported that they saw a well-known local vigilante go through the back entrance of the store, and a few days later, the same one was seen with new gear. There was other circumstantial evidence as well. Background checks revealed that all the baristas were past vigilantes that had already been caught and processed. However, the owner, Tanaka Masaru, a “quirkless” 67 year old, had a clean record, too clean, not even an overdue fine. There was no doubt in Shouta’s mind that the identity was fake. In the end, Shouta wasn’t able to find any concrete evidence on the coffee shop, and since all they had was circumstantial evidence and 1 eye witness, the case fell apart and was closed. The police department did not pursue it after that since there hadn’t been any vigilantes pop up in that area. Well… except for one.
Shouta has been coming here since then, it was on the way to school and they (surprisingly) made really good coffee. The owner was eccentric as well. Sometimes, Shouta could see him in a corner making little figurines and dishes, mumbling and laughing to himself, which ruined the peaceful atmosphere of the shop. Shouta wasn’t mad about it though, more of slightly annoyed whenever it happened. There was a tall shelf covering a wall that was home to the figurines. Most of them were past vigilantes, little animals or regular customers and staff (Shouta even had one up there). The ones on the top were the oldest and most intricately made, while they got less and less detailed as the shelves went down. The store also sold cups and mugs that were in a similar fashion. They were really expensive, but the craftsmanship was worth it (Shouta even had one or two at home).
Recently, a kid posted on social media about the place, and since then it has become a trendy spot with the youths, at least that's what Shouta heard. Fortunately, it was 5 AM and so no kids were even alive yet. Shouta could enjoy the quiet atmosphere while he waited for his coffee. He probably shouldn’t be having any more coffee today since he just finished up a long night’s search. Last night (or earlier this morning if you wanted to be technical), was the first lead he got since he started his investigation. Phantom was a tricky one, and his quirk was great at quick getaways, but he was young and one day he’ll make a mistake. But Shouta doubted it was gonna be today. He may as well listen to his husband and actually catch up on sleep. His schedule was still clear since his kids were still at internships. He heard Midoriya had even gotten out of the hospital a few days ago. Problem child…
Shouta’s fingers tapped impatiently on the table. All fantasies of sleep washed away like soap. He needed coffee. Shouta had entertained the notion of quitting before in the past. He has had so much coffee in his life that he suffers withdraws without it. He has been considering buying patches, but he loves the taste and ritual too much to stop. That’s what he said about smoking too. It first started after Oboro died, a way for Shouta to slow time and try to breathe it in. In the end though, it only made things worse. Now he drinks coffee.
He looked over at the new barista as he made his coffee. His order was simple and always the same; a simple black coffee. Impossible to mess up, but amazing when done right. The kid, whose tag said Tommy , looked to be struggling and Shouta could smell burnt coffee beans from past orders. When the kid checked him out, he gave one look at Shouta before saying that he didn’t have to pay anything. Shouta was shocked to say the least, but he didn’t argue. Free coffee tastes better than bought coffee, that's why he wasn’t worried about the smell. He wondered why the kid didn’t charge him, maybe he just recognized him and was a fan or something (it doesn’t happen a lot, but it does still happen). He severely doubted it.
It wasn’t just the anticipation of getting coffee that made him keep looking at the barista. “Tommy,” what a strange name in Japan. Despite his height and young age, he seemed to carry himself with a sense of steadiness that you only get after experience. Whenever he did seem to slip or mess up, it had seemed intentional, like he was trying to direct your suspicion away from him. The fact he was even working here was cause enough to run a background check. If it had been just those things Shouta would (probably), but of course, there was more.
The final nail in the coffin, and the real reason that Shouta was even studying the boy so intently, was sitting on the table in front of him. The manilla folder that Detective Tsukauchi gave him held the description of a suspicious boy that was seen before the Phantom sighting. Tall & lanky, pale skin, and blue-green eyes, which could describe a lot of the population. Again, if that was the only information provided then Shouta would look away, but then the file listed the most prominent feature of the suspect, black hair with a white stripe. Some minor but still important details were how cold and lifeless the boy was. He apparently had given the other heroes quite the scare. It was obviously the same kid. Whether or not he was also Phantom was left to be determined.
They had no understanding of his powers, except for the general ghost theme, and even that wasn’t consistent. What type of ghost is able to use ice like that? In horror stories the most ghosts could do was drop the temperature a little bit, not form glaciers able to stop explosions. Shouta had his own theories. Perhaps Phantom’s original quirk was a ghost mutation quirk, but AFO overloaded it with so many enhancement quirks (along with some new ones) that it created this tonally confused mess. If that were true, why couldn’t he have also given Phantom some minor shapeshifting quirk?
He looked at the boy again. If he was Phantom, he’d be really dumb. The café is a 15 minute walk from the alley. It will only be a matter of time before the Hero Commission checks here. Shouta rubbed his temples… Not unless he told them otherwise. The Hero Commission had no reason to believe that he would mislead them, except for his affiliation with UA. Fortunately, Principal Nezu had the foresight to set Shouta up as more loyal to the Commission than UA in the years prior. Shouta wasn’t proud of the things he’s done, but he couldn't argue with the results.
Suddenly, he heard a loud shout behind him, and the wet sound of someone spitting on the ground.
“What the hell is this shit?!” A large man with really nice hair in a uniform blasted out. He marched over to the counter that divided him and Tommy, and yelled even louder , “You can’t expect me to drink this garbage?! I paid 1,304¥ for this and I demand a refund!” That's way overpriced, Shouta thought . What idiot buys a cup of coffee for that much?
“I’m sorry dude-” The teen held his hands up in a placating manner. He looked nervous.
“Dude?!” The man had become red, and his hair changed colors and hues to match like a fire.
“Sir!” The kid quickly corrected, “but could you tell me what was wrong with it?” The kid looked down at him, confused. He was tall, maybe 6 '1 while slouching, and easily towered over the Uneri hair spray model. It was like Shouta observed before, the kid was purposely making himself seem less like a threat.
“What’s wrong with it? What isn’t wrong with it?!” His hands started moving like crazy, spilling some of his coffee, “It was scolding hot when I first took a sip of it, it even burned my tongue!” He stuck his tongue out to prove this, it looked fine. He started ranting again, “Then when I took the next sip it was freezing cold! Honestly it was a wonder of science that that even happened-I think this should be donated to science and you with it! Imagine the kind of foreign and new technology that could be discovered?!”
“I’ll give you the refund and make you a new coffee if you like?” he tilted his head, “It will be a little wait since I’m backed up right now…” He looked around the shop which only held the three of them. Truly a master of his craft.
Shouta clenched his fists. He knew the kid could handle it on his own. A bratty customer must’ve been a vacation compared to what the kid had been through before. It was probably better to stay out of it. He didn’t want to cause a scene or alert Tommy to what he was doing and what he knew. He really shouldn’t get involved…
“It’s time for you to stop-” no later than when the final word left his mouth, had the man flung his coffee at the boy. It splattered on the boy leaving him soaked and confused, rage and a green glow in his eyes.
Shouta had a similar reaction. In no quicker than a blink, his capture scarf wrapped around the prick. He pulled it tight, and the man fell down at the ankles, hitting his head on the counter. Good.
By this point the kid had backed deeper behind the counter, staring anxiously at the rope. This is exactly what Shouta didn’t want. Too late now. He pulled the asshole along the ground, careful to make sure he bumped into every chair leg or corner. His hair dragged behind him, sweeping up dust and dirt and getting knotted. His hair was gorgeous, every wave of his head reflected the warm light of the café that gave it the illusion it was changing colors. Deep blues, vibrant reds and crisp yellows that reminded Shouta of his husband, it was honestly a sight to behold. Too bad the guy was such a dick. He yanked harder when they reached the door frame, making sure he hit his head on the door stopper. Shouta released him out of his tape as if he was flapping dirt out of a rug. The dick-bag looked back at Shouta with a rage clear on his face. He started marching towards Shouta, but he thought it was time to show off his own hair. Like a cobra raising it’s hood, Shouta’s hair flowed menacingly at the man below him. He sneered and spit at Shouta, but walked away, grumbling to himself.
Shouta let his hair back down and sighed. He was no longer angry, just tired. He turned back into the coffee shop and sat at his original table. Luckily the folder was still there. Shouta had to be more aware next time. Tommy, now recovered from the display, walked over to hand Shouta his coffee. The kid looked awkward and suspicious all at the same time.
“Thank you…for that…” Tommy was looking away and gave Shouta a short bow. Clearly he wasn’t used to it. That could be because he was isolated from a young age and so never had to learn proper manners. Shouta was 92% sure the kid in front of him was Phantom.
“Anytime kid.” Shouta nodded at him, and he went back behind the counter. He must’ve felt Shouta’s eyes still on him since he grabbed a random cup and pretended to start cleaning it, still looking back and forth at him. Shouta turned his gaze down. This is the kid that freaked out Mount Lady and Kamui Woods? Shouta almost laughed.
No. Although he may seem like a kid, he was still an unknown. Of course he wanted him to join UA and get a chance at a life he clearly never had, but Shouta had to be ready for the very real possibility that he could still side with All For One. He couldn’t let himself get attached.
Still-Shouta was glad the kid was alright, customers can be such assholes sometimes. And despite the turn of events, Phantom didn’t seem to distrust him. He could use that. He was already a regular but now he had to be extra aware to come in when he was on shift. He really wanted Phantom to go to UA, not just for the Principle.
He took a sip of his coffee and then immediately almost spit it out. Phantom’s head whipped towards him, but he was able to get it down and smiled (although it probably looked more like a grimace). Only after the boy turned around again did Shouta unclench his jaw. How do you mess up black coffee that bad? It was thick like tar and had an overwhelming burnt taste, Shouta would rather drink liquified coal.
Shouta looked up to the heavens trying to summon however much strength it would take to finish it. That strength came in a little flask he kept on him (for the hard days), and he poured some of its contents inside. He took another swig and was almost able to convince himself the sharpness came from the whiskey. After he was done, he walked up the bin to put the dishes in and laid it down like a body into a grave. The cup didn’t deserve that…He nodded towards Phantom, Phantom nodded back, and left the café.
Maybe he should switch to patches.
Zzz
After he left the café, Shouta went back to UA. He had already messaged Principle Nezu about his encounter with the suspected Phantom. The maniac responded instantly and said that he would be waiting for him at his desk. Shouta always had the theory that Nezu lived there, in his office or some hidden room in the school, maybe both.
Luckily, the school was only a 5 minute walk from the café. Phantom was really considerate of Shouta’s routine, he now didn’t have to waste 5 hours a day scouring the city for him. Maybe Phantom wanted to go to UA and that’s why he was so close, Shouta laughed to himself sleepily. The coffee from before didn’t help at all. Another thought bubbled to the surface. Or maybe he was stalking the school. It was important to see both sides. The reason Shouta chose not to believe it was stupidity. An old but still meaningful quote rang in his ears, "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity" And the kid was also working at a coffee shop that was a short walk from his crime scene. If he did join UA, Shouta would have to teach him to be better aware of his surroundings. He smiled at the thought.
He made it through the building without any hassle. Some teachers liked to be there early even without the kids there. If Shouta wasn’t mistaken, they still had 2, no wait it’s a new day, 1 more day of internships left, then tomorrow to recover. Shouta would never admit it out loud, but he had started to miss the little shits, even Kaminari and Midoriya. He was about ready to expel them both for their stupidity. Midoriya because he’s always breaking something and Kaminari because just last week, he had to send him to the nurse’s office for stuffing hot sauce packets up his nose. Again. He hadn’t even used his quirk that day. Shouta was half convinced that the boy just used his quirk as an excuse. He’s been wanting to talk to his parents about making him wear a rubber helmet so he doesn’t fry the last few brain cells he has left. Shouta pinched the bridge of his nose at the prospect…
He passed by Power Loader’s workshop. The door was cracked open a little, letting smoke waft into the hallway. Students liked to blame Mei for all the accidents in that room, but Power Loader still has his mishaps. He says that mistakes lead to innovation, maybe that’s why Mei was so unrestrained in her learning. Power Loader was sitting at his work bench behind a fan drinking coffee. It was one of the rare occasions Shouta got to see more of his face. Even in work meetings he had something covering it, either his hair or a helmet. They nodded to each other, and Shouta went on his way. He had never been close with the man, seeing him more as a co-worker he was friendly with rather than an acquaintance, but the lure of coffee was tempting. He couldn't of course since he had news for Principle Nezu.
None of the other faculty members stopped him. Like with Power Loader, Shouta was pleasant with them but had no more than a working relationship with anyone in the office, except of course his husband and Nemuri, who he couldn’t escape from.
Although Yagi has been trying to get closer to him for some reason, he even brought him lunch one time. Shouta thinks it’s so he can get more information about Midoriya. He would be stupid not to notice the connection between them. Their ‘secret meetings’ weren’t so secret with Yagi shouting everything. Fortunately, he was able to lead any perked ears away from their conversations. He was pretty sure Midoriya was the next user (but he wasn’t supposed to let Yagi know he knew that). Before the pair had started at the school, Principle Nezu had informed Shouta of Yagi’s condition. He didn’t tell Shouta anything about the boy though, so it was either Nezu himself didn’t know or it had yet to happen.
Shouta was pretty sure some of Midoriya’s classmates had also noticed the connection, Bakugo and Todoroki being the main ones. Todoroki fortunately interrupted it as Yagi being Midoriya’s father, which was its own can of worms, but easy to sort out. Bakugo on the other hand seems to suspect the actual connection between the two. He was a smart kid, way smarter than people gave him credit for (Shouta just wished he used those brain cells to read a self-help book). He has recommended therapy or counseling to his parents before, but his mom seemed offended that Shouta brought anything up in the first place. Shouta would just have to help guide him like he has been doing.
He walked past one of the teachers' offices and a familiar face caught his eye. It was Nemuri. She was hunched over a stack of papers, probably old assignments from students that she forgot to grade. Today was one of the last days before the students returned and would be expecting those grades. She wasn’t the best at balancing hero work with being a teacher, but the students loved her. She scowled at the pile through her glasses.
Shouta walked faster, but he was too late. A pair of arms pulled around him from the back and wouldn’t let go.
“Shouta!!!!” She squeezed tighter around him and wiggled. Shouta grabbed her arms in an awkward hug and patted them. She let go after a moment and Shouta turned to face her. “How’ve you been? You haven’t been answering any of my texts, I mean, you usually don’t but you at least text back one word after a few days.” she teased.
Nemuri had always been a lifeline to Shouta. She pulled him out of the darkness more times than he could count. Early in Shouta’s hero career, he failed to save someone for the first time. He locked himself in his room and kept going over what happened, trying to find some way he could have saved them. He also kept thinking of Oboro, which only made things worse. He had stopped eating and not even Hizashi could pull him out of it. One day, Nemuri kicked down the door and dragged him out by his scarf. She, with the help of Hizashi, washed him up and untangled his hair. Shouta just broke down crying in the shower, wet and covered in suds. She just held him as he cried like a child. After he got washed up, she got him his favorite food and they all just sat in comfortable silence. She also convinced him to start therapy and even recommended someone. Shouta could safely say he might not be here without it.
“I’ve been doing patrols, as usual,” he responded simply. Nemuri laughed and elbowed him in the ribs.
“Oh come on! I’ve heard you’ve been training that kid from class 1-C, What was his name?” she put her finger on her chin in a dramatic pose.
“Shinso Hitoshi” Shouta walked into the office to find the coffee pot and she followed after him.
“Ah that’s right! He was the one who had the mind control quirk right? He lost to Midoriya in the 3rd round.”
“Brainwashing actually, and yes. He has a lot of potential and I think he would fit in 1-A, plus we have the same for it,” Shouta still has no idea how that one kid got into UA in the first place. Shouta expelled him the first day when he tried to peek into the girl’s locker room. That behavior was not appropriate for a hero and if he did manage to succeed, he would use his power to control women, and Shouta didn’t want that on his conscience. “I just have to find the right time to introduce him. The sooner the better before the gap is too wide, I can only do so much on our one on one time. I thought after the internships would be a good place, but then the testing got rescheduled and I don’t want to throw him into the deep end on his first day…” Shouta was thinking aloud to himself. This is a topic that has been cycling through his head for several days.
“That and I hear that your classroom is gonna get a major change soon” she winked. Of course she knew. When Shouta didn’t answer her, she continued, “Does it have something to do with your secret project with Principle Nezu?” Shouta signed.
He grabbed one of the cups by the coffee machine and poured some in. It was a green liquid and it smelled sweet. He looked over at Nemuri and she shrugged.
“I drink tea over coffee, you know this.” Shouta groaned and handed her the cup. “How generous, thank you” and she took a sip.
“I have to go talk to Principle Nezu…” He mumbled and stalked out of the office.
“Make sure to keep me updated on your class! ‘Zashi can only tell me so much!” She called after him.
Zzz
Without any more distractions keeping him, Shouta finally made it to Principle Nezu’s office. Nezu sat at his desk with his signature smile and his hands folded on the table. He was stock still, like a stuffed animal, but Shouta had gotten used to how the Principle acts to pay it much mind.
“Ah, good morning, Mr. Aizawa.” He greeted.
“Good morning, Principle Nezu” Shouta didn’t sit down, instead making his way to the coffee machine by the wall. There was a fresh cup waiting for him. He took it and eyed Nezu, who still smiled, then he sat down in front of him. “Sorry it took so long, I got distracted on the way here.”
“No worries at all. I never said a time to meet, just simply that I’ll be in my office.” Empty words. They both know the sooner the better for this kind of thing.
Shouta took a sip and gagged, decaf. It was still better than nothing. He took a seat across from Nezu and placed the coffee on the table and reached into his pocket, grabbing the manilla folder and the small baggie with the dirt he collected from the scene. Nezu took them both gently with his stubby arms.
“Detective Tsukauchi has already delivered me the folder, but this,” He held up the bag, “I had no clue of.” Shouta took a sip of his coffee, too ashamed to have kept the info from him, even if it slipped his mind.
“I collected it from the scene. It was in a dent away from the fight. It looked fresh. According to the report, Phantom was hovering over it before they attacked him.” Shouta’s fist clenched at the reminder. He wished he had found the boy first.
“And the bag itself?” Principle Nezu asked.
“I didn’t have anything else on me.”
“Very well. I shall run it through our lab to see what comes up. I can follow your line of logic in thinking that this could’ve had possible significance to Phantom, but it’s best to remain critical.” Shouta nodded.
“Of course. Now to move on to the other matter…” Principle Nezu’s back straighten even more, if that were possible, “After I completed my patrols for the night, “Nezu didn’t correct him that it was now morning, “I went to my usual coffee place where I saw a teen who looked a lot like the description of the boy from page 45, the one who ran into the heroes before the altercation.”
Nezu Hummed, “So you think this boy is Phantom?” It was rhetorical but Shouta still answered.
“I do. The way he moved and acted was also suspicious. It was clear that his clumsiness was intentional, and during an altercation between a customer-”
“He fought a customer?” Nezu questioned, his eyebrow quirked.
“No, I fought a customer.” Shouta stated. “He was being rude to Tommy, the name of the barista and suspect, and then splashed coffee on his face, at which point I intervened.”
“You seem more tired than usual, Mr. Aizawa”
“I wasn’t able to enjoy any coffee.” He took another drink of the miserable cup in front of him.
“Of course, whatever it takes to get you through the day,” Nezu teased. He had also tried to convince Shouta to stop drinking coffee so much. “Can you tell me anything about the interaction between you and ‘Tommy’”
“Our conversation at the start was quick, just me ordering a coffee,” Shouta thought for a moment, “although it was strange, he didn’t charge me for the cup.”
“Perhaps he recognized you? Or maybe he already feels a connection with you.” Nezu let out a small laugh.
“Doubtful. If he was truly raised by All For One, I would imagine him to be more disdainful or at least distrustful of heroes, especially after what happened last night. Although perhaps he also looks up to the heroes because of his father. He is a vigilante after all.” Shouta hasn’t had the time to think too deeply about what that could mean, but the more he did, the less he liked.
“Who knows,” Nezu definitely knew something and was hiding it. He would tell Shouta if it became important enough.
“I digress, shortly after I sat down the customer started harassing Phantom. At first it was just yelling and general insults, but I stepped in when it got physical. I dragged him outside and kicked him out.” Nezu nodded, “However, after the man spilled his coffee on Tommy, I noticed the boy’s eyes glow green, not unlike what it detailed in the reports with Phantom. That’s when I was convinced they were one in the same. Of course, there is always the possibility that the two are separate, but I do not think this is the case.”
“I would have come to the same conclusion myself.” Nezu agreed.
“After the altercation, Phantom handed me my coffee and thanked me. He seemed awkward about the exchange, though. I left shortly after and came here.”
“Thank you for your report, Mr. Aizawa. I hope I’m not asking you too much if you could write this all out for me with any other details you can remember. Even the most minor thing could be important.”
“Consider it done.” Sensing the meeting was over, Shouta stood up to leave. “I just have one question Principle Nezu.”
“And what's that?” His eyes gleamed.
“How many quirks does Phantom have?” The Nomu’s were no longer human after just 3, and this kid has displayed far more than that. They could be on a timer to save the boy before he was lost forever in himself.
“I do not know.” Nezu stated. Ice spread through Shouta and a weight settled in his gut. Even the principle doesn’t know? Shouta’s hands clenched into fists again. As much as he wanted to save the kid, he had to remember he was an unknown. He couldn’t let his emotions get in the way with that.
“You should probably get some rest, Mr. Aizawa. We both have a long few days ahead of us.” and with that, the meeting was officially over.
Shouta slowly walked out of the room trying to process the whole conversation. The Principle had clear faith that Phantom would indeed join UA, and so Shouta just had to trust him until proven otherwise. He hoped to whatever god that becomes a reality, for both Phantom’s and his sake. Until then, he would do his best to build his trust and extend a hand to the boy. It was his choice whether he would take it or not.
One thing was for certain, he would try to save the boy until he begged him to stop, even then he might push.
When Shouta got home, the house was empty. Hizashi was still at the studio for the morning radio. He was kind of relieved he was gone. He wasn’t ready to talk about the day he had yet. Still so many unorganized thoughts in his head. He collapsed onto the bed, not bothering to change his clothes or taking off his shoes; it was laundry day tomorrow after all, or was it today? Time had lost all meaning to Shouta a long time ago. He closed his eyes and thought about Phantom again. He will save him, even if he loses an arm in the process.
He closed his eyes and thought about Phantom again. He will save him, even if he loses an arm in the process.
“Damn it” he cursed into the still air.
He got attached.

And for the love of everything.
The principal is the one who expels you from school. PRINCIPAL.
But if you follow the rules and principles of the school, you shouldn't need to be expelled. PRINCIPLE.
You are going to see the principal.
You should follow the code of conduct, it's a matter of principle.
(Principal can also be used to refer to a person in a leading position, the principal ballerina, for example; it can also be used as an adjective to show that something is the most important, the principal reason, for example.)
IT’S NOT ‘PEEKED’ MY INTEREST
OR ‘PEAKED’
BUT PIQUED
‘PIQUED MY INTEREST’
THIS HAS BEEN A CAPSLOCK PSA

Hybrids are a normal sight in U.A, there is nothing in particular that sets any of them apart. Except you, a new hire from overseas. The day you arrived, Hizashi was forcing Shota to the library, he knew for a fact once Shoto laid his eyes on you he’d be hooked.
Boy was he right.
You were a vision of perfection from head to toe. You were sitting with your legs crossed with your tail flicking behind you. Your excitement made his hands sweat and his ears hot. Your jewelry intensifying your already obvious beauty. You were sitting with your legs crossed with your tail flicking behind you.
He especially loved your black pointed ears adorned with silver and gold. When you stood up to greet the two men, Shota could hardly keep from reaching out to stroke your ears.
Hizashi was being his usual bubbly self, asking you questions about your quirk and what you used to do before coming a teacher at U.A. but Shoto couldn’t even muster up the courage to say hello. He hid behind his scarf trying to contain his face from turning red. “SHOTA MY MAN! WHY ARE YOU SO QUIET?!” Hizashi had knew what effect this would have on his poor friend and he was loving every minute of it.
“Hello, Welcome to U.A. hopefully you can be a competent addition to our team” Shota has regretted that statement since that day he’s met you. He noticed the grimace spread across your face morph into a half smile. Sweetly you responded “Nice to meet you gentlemen but I should really get back to work.” Making your way through the two men, especially Shota couldn’t help but watch you tail swish behind you accentuating your curvy figure.
After that day Shota didn’t see you for a week he would find himself walking past your office everyday. It wasn’t until his interest was subsiding did he see you in his classroom — his whole body felt like it was on fire, his eyes scanned your whole body starting at his favorite part. Your ears. The way they flicked while you read the roaster for the class calling his students out one by one made the front of his pants tight.
The rest of your body is just as perfect from your silky brown skin to your coily hair framing your adorable round face. Everything about you is intoxicating and Shota wants a taste. He finally musters to walk in the class to be greeted by the students but most importantly you. “Good Morning Mr.Aizawa, Principle Nezu assigned me to the wrong class. I ended up being placed with Mr. Hiro but I couldn’t understand a word he was saying.” You ended your statement with a small giggle which made Shota fall for you harder. Why did you have to be so damn cute.
Shota didn’t realize how much silenced until your friendly demeanor turned into a reserved one. Quickly getting himself together he laughs sharply at your response causing you to jump, some of the students to puzzled looks and some to giggle. You laugh nervously stepping out of his way allowing him to walk past you and sit at his desk. For the remainder of the day you were practically glued by his side, your proximity made him squirm. He couldn’t even focus on his students because whenever he heard you laugh or instruct one of them his eyes were glued on you.
However, once the students went to lunch you brought a chair right next to his desk and proceeded to bring out two bento boxes. “I made too much this morning and brought two. “Don’t mind the dog shaped rice ball I thought I was going to be with Mr.Hiro today” opening the bento box Shota couldn’t help but laugh at the awkwardly shaped rice balls. “Heyyy! What’s funny? I worked really hard on those!”
He placed a hand on your thigh giving it a gentle squeeze attempting to reassure you.
“I assure you these rice balls are perfect just like you.” He took note of the way your ears flattened and your tail wrap around you. Removing his hand he grabs the chopsticks inside of the box picking up the rice ball giving you a soft smile. During the entire lunch hour you and Shota sat in silence except for the praises he would give you on the various items you packed in the lunch box.
The next few weeks went the same, you would bring a chair over to his desk and give him a bento box full of food. Except, you two started talking more and the more Shota learned about you, the more he wished you were his. He started to notice the way your ears would flick and your tail would swish in his presence but remain content with everyone else. He makes you nervous and he plans to use that to his advantage.
“Miss? Can I bother you for a moment” there’s no way in the world that Shota could bother you and you were trying your hardest to make sure you didn’t tell him that. “Yes Mr. Aizawa? What can I assist you with?” He didn’t say another word before taking out a medium velvet box and opening it to reveal a necklace adorned diamonds along the collar with a diamond bell shining on the end.
Your heart tightened seeing the gorgeous item “It’s beautiful, Whoever this is for is very lucky!” your heart twinges. You thought over the past couple of weeks you and him were getting close. He could see your ears hang low and your tail wrap around you. “It’s for you.” he said this without looking you in the eye grabbing the chain. Shota stand up and comes close to you, unlatching the clasp and instructs you to turn around.
Obeying his command you feel him lean over you to wrap the piece of jewelry around your neck clasping it. His smell is overpowering and his proximity makes you dizzy. His hands move from the back of your neck caressing your shoulders gently. Finally making their way to your arms placing you in a firm grip. A small yelp emerges from you which pleases Shota — he brings you closer now wrapping his toned arms around you. His breath on your neck flusters you and makes your skin hot.
Closing your eyes in anticipation you ears start to flick, not only at Shota and the compromising situation you’re in but you can now also hear someone coming down the hall. Frantic you whisper to him “Shota! Shota! I think someone is coming!” Attempting to wiggle out his grasp only for him to grip you harder. He plants soft kisses where the jewelry is shining on your neck — the adrenaline and his kisses are making you weak and lightheaded.
“Try to relax darling” the sultry tone in is voice sent shivers up up your body making your tail fluff up. His teeth graze the side of your neck making your eyes close in anticipation. You can feel his lips change shape and his tongue trail up and down your neck. Nibbling each time attempting to savor this moment. Once he heard the bell Shota put a considerable distance between you two.
Not even a minute later his star student is opening the door instructing everyone to sit down. It felt like eyes were on you as you tried to defluff your tail. The remainder of the day you kept your distance from Shota and this pissed him off. You excused yourself to the bathroom ten minutes after the kids got back from lunch and haven’t been seen since.
Shota even sent a handful of his students to retrieve you from the restroom but each one came back with the same results. “She’s not in there Mr.Aizawa” he was beyond confused. Shota kept an eye out for you all day only when the day ended is when he saw you. There you were standing in front of the window of the teachers lounge, ears down, twisting and turning the bell adorned on your neck.
The sunset reflecting off of you made you look angelic. Shota couldn’t help but admire the slight crease that appears on your forehead every time the bell jingles. He adored looking at you and even when you were doing nothing, you found a way to be breathtaking.
You can feel a hand on the small of your back causing you to turn around and once again you’re in a enclosed space with your coworker. His other hand caresses the side of your face, using his fingers to tilt your head up. “I apologize. I never want to be the cause of your agitation.”
Staring into each other eyes makes your furrow increase and your cheeks burn. It felt like you were under his spell as his tired eyes bore into yours. He makes you shrink while also making you feel seen. “ I accept your apology but don’t you think this is a little inappropriate?” without batting an eye he replied with a firm no.
“Shota I’m not entirely sure what you want from me.” He didn’t say anything just held you in place, slowly closing the distance between you two. Carelessly you let him do it closing your eyes, your mind was racing you could only focus on the way he pulled you in. “Will you let me take you out?”
Opening your eyes you could see a slight tint on his cheeks. Surprisingly, enough you weren’t the only one that is nervous. “I would be delighted to go out with you Shota.” Leaning over slight he places a kiss on your cheek finally giving you your space. “We’re leaving together Friday. Don’t worry about going home, you look good in everything.”
He left without another word leaving you alone with your thoughts again. For the remainder of the week you two continued on as normal. As normal as two coworkers who spend their lunch tucked away in a classroom playing footsies and eating the lunch you each prepared for one another.
Even due to unforeseen circumstances you two managed to keep your distance until Friday. You made yourself scarce that day, attending meetings with principal and going around to assist other instructors. It wasn’t until the final bell rang and the halls were empty is when Shota finally laid his eyes on you.
There you were standing next to that window —instead of seeing agitation across your face, he could see anxiety and excitement bubbling up inside you. Shota didn’t even think about changing but wish he had once he laid his eyes on you. His eyes trailing up you body starting at the slender black heels you have on.
When eyeing your legs he couldn’t help but notice how soft and supple they look, he fantasizes about laying on them, massaging, and being buried in between them. Your pencil black skirt stops at your mid thigh which you meticulously paired with a silky dark green blouse. You were holding your tail delicately running your fingers through it. Everything about you made his body hot and his dick twitch.
What he wouldn’t give to run his fingers your tail and knead your ears until you purr for him. Once he stepped into the lounge your ears perk up making your head his way. “Good evening Shota, sorry I wasn’t there to exchange lunch with you!”
“It’s fine kitten! Let’s go, we’re going to be late for our showing” putting a hand on the small of you back he leads you all the way to his car door. For weeks you gushed to Shota about your love for black and white films and drive-in movies. He distinctly remembered the films you talked about the most, how you always wanted have a date there but never had the times because of school.
That’s when he realized what he loved about you the most. Watching you talk about something you love is like watching the sun come up. You were so excited telling him about the variety of films they had and how you’d always end up knowing how it ends. The entire time he observed you and your mannerism — the way your pupils expand and your ears flick, the sight of your tail feverishly swinging behind you. That’s why he wanted to do this for you, to see you like that because of him, to see how much he yearns for you.
The car ride there felt like you two were in the classroom again. Instead of footsies, Shota kept his hand on your thigh the entire ride and always giving in a squeeze whenever you two stopped. It wasn’t until you two arrived at Musutafu Park. Shota found a secluded corner near the screen so you be unseen by others and still be able to see the movie. “Let’s move to the backseat.”
Being the practical man he is, Shota opens his door to get out until he felt leg bump into his arm. Turning to look at you he gets a eyeful of your butt and a smack to the face with your tail as you climb in the backseat. He didn’t hesitate to close his door back and climb to the back with you. Shota made sure to prepare everything almost a replication of how you described it.
He had place blockers in the back windows so no one can see you two, snacks for you and him, and blankets draping the backseat. You didn’t say anything at first just silently admiring his effort and that’s when you see it. Tucked into the backs of candy is a flyer for a black and white movie showing ‘The Fated Lovers’. Scooting close to him you while stating “This is so sweet Shota! It’s perfect and they’re playing my favorite movie!”
He wouldn’t tell you that he paid the teen at the ticket booth to play your favorite. Instinctively he wraps his arm around you closing the distance between you two. Throughout the movie you two shared laughs towards the film and as usual Shota is asking questions about you. He wants to know everything about you down to the last minuscule detail.
You two got so lost in each other that you didn’t realize what scene is playing until you hear the sound of a woman moan. Turning your attention to the screen watching the escapade unfold. You watch as the two people fight for dominance with their mouths while ripping off each others clothes.
Shota is watching you like a hawk — he’s watching the way your ears flick and go low, he notices how your rapid tail movement slows down, and lastly he could feel how hot your body is. Your body is so reactive and it’s making it harder not to bend you over the console and fuck you.
He didn’t want to impose on you more than he already has. The feeling of your warm hand travel up his thigh shocks Shota in place. You stop short at the base of his cock squeezing the most inner part of his thigh. He jumps on you after this — entrapping you under him you can feel his hand roaming all over, he places a kiss on your supple lips before lightly sucking the bottoms of your lip.
Shota wants your consent verbally and non verbally. He wants to hear you give yourself to him while your body shows how much you want him. His kisses makes you feel juvenile, Shota is gentle but passionate. You two fight for dominance with your tongues — sucking, biting, and licking one another in between kisses.
Shota sees you’re ears rapidly flicking and he took the opportunity to knead them. You purr under him immediately making the bulge in his pants stiffen. Removing his lips and hands from you — he sits up looking straight at you he says, “Am I allowed to have you?” and without another word you sit up with him taking off your shirt and skirt.
“I want to hear you say it doll, say that I can have you”
You’ve never felt so exposed and seen at the same time. He stares at you with low eyes, admiring every part of you. “You can have me Shota, all of me..” He gently laid you back hovering over you once more. His hands knead at your sides as he leans towards your neck. Kissing and sucking Shota leaves a trail of saliva down your neck to your cushy v-line.
He didn’t waste anytime putting his hands under your knees pushing your legs out and forward to give him a full view of your soaking cunt. “It’s beautiful love.” He didn’t hesitate to bring his face close and drag his tongue through your folds. Between his stubble and his eagerness to devour you everything about him makes your core throb with excitement.
His tongue is precise and slow, everything he does makes your clit throb. You can feel the rough pads of his fingers touch your lip. His eyes are looking up at you like he’s commanding you with his gaze. Opening your mouth his rough pads slide past your lips massaging his finger with your saliva. Removing his slick coated fingers from your mouth, Shota tease your hole before slowly sliding one finger inside then another.
Your hips buck and tail fluffs at the insertion — Shota is watching your body closely, sucking and fingering your cunt just the way you like. You didn’t know what to focus on. His fingers made your cunt tighten and your heat build up. “Shota, please- go faster” he hummed in response gradually picking up pace. His tongue became more calculated in its movement and his fingers curled and pumped feverishly.
Your tail snapped around his neck pushing his face closer. The soft feeling of your fur on his neck made him moan into your heat causing you to release on his face. You jump up pushing Shota back — he couldn’t get a word in when hurriedly release his cock from his pants freeing his erection. You stare in awe at his long shaft, taking note of the significant girth he has. You can hear him clear his throat looking up at him you see the blush across his face “Did anyone ever tell you it’s rude to stare?
“I didn’t count you as the shy type Mr.Aizawa, Do I make you nervous?” You smile make his dick jump, hell everything about you makes his mind, heart, and dick throb. He doesn’t even realize he’s saying something before “You’re perfect” falls put of his mouth. Your eyes light up and before he can say anything else, your mouth is on his tip, swirling your tongue around the angry mushroom. Pretty moans from the man bless your ears and making your cunt throb.
He could barely keep his eyes open as you envelope your tongue around his shaft. His voice is low and whiny “You’re-you’re doing so great” — you hum in response the vibrations makes Shota buck his hips up. For a moment you choke taking everything in at once. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry! I couldn’t-“ you hum in response refusing to come up for air.
Your speed picks up, you can feel his legs shake and saliva coat your chin. He could see your hand wipe your chin and grasp his scrotum. The sensation of you deepthroating and massaging his testis is overwhelming. You hear him whimper, plea, and moan out for you. “Please kitten~ don’t stop.”
You can feel his member throb before he releases in your mouth. You don’t hesitate to swallow his nut coming face to face with him “Want to know how you taste?” Nodding his head up and down you use your tail to bring him close kissing him passionately. “I like the way you taste Shota, can I taste more of you” your eyes are full of lust he nods in agreement.
You climb on top of him coming close to his collar. He feels your tongue slide along his collarbone and up his neck. Opening your mouth you bite the side of his neck making sure to break the top layer of skin. Shota winces at the pain feeling his body swelter. “You taste so sweet. Let me make you feel good” you line your cunt to his tip and slowly descend on dick. You were teasing him now, you would start with his tip, and slowly slid to the middle of his shaft and bounce.
Shota could only take so much, your cunt was warm and soaking — he wanted nothing more than to slam into you and fuck you until his dick is numb. This is true bliss. All it took was for you to slam down fully taking him in for Shota to launch forward.
He wraps his arms around you to keep you in place, he looks up at you and smiles. “You’re being naughty now. Let me take over” you can feel his hips move achingly slow, he wants to savor this moment with you. “Shota~ faster..please” he wants to remember the feeling of you, how you smell, how you cunt feels convulsing around his member.
When picking up the pace he can feel you tightening around him. Wrapping your legs around him you’re able to match his rhythm. Your forehead meet his then your lips. Only the muffled sounds of moans and whimpers can be heard from you both. You two are ravaging each other and the smell of sex heavy in the air. He can feel your long nails dig into his back and your legs tighten around him.
“Be a good kitten for me, don’t bit me too hard” you can feel his rough hands grip your tail and pull it. You bite his bottom lip in response squirting on his lap. This doesn’t slow his pace, Shota continues to bully your cunt, hitting that sweet spot over, and over, and over. “Shotaaa~ I can’t- I can’t-“ letting go of your tail he places his hand on your neck holding you in place while he fucks you. The sound of the bell on your neck pushes him further.
His eyes never leave yours, you can see his resolve crumbling and his release approaching. Your moans were stifled but loud. He groans as he releases inside of you still keeping you close and your neck in place. “I’m sorry I didn’t mean to be rough with you” he lets go of you noticing a large smile appear on your face. “I didn’t think you had it in you eraser head”
Even as you were getting dressed he is mesmerized. He could watch you all night and never get tired of you. “Aw we missed the movie.” even your pout is cute. He chuckles at your statement, putting his hand on your cheek he leans in and kisses you passionately. “I can bribe the kid at the front to play it again, just for us.” He didn’t even have to wait for your reply because your rapid tail movement said it all.
“Yes please!”

"Mind my language, but what the hell, Nez!?" You exclaimed, eyes widening at your long-time friend's words, "You can not be serious! I- I can't work with him, and you know that." You insisted, "There’s a reason why you have my class in a whole separate section of the building."
Principle Nezu just gave you a grin, sipping his tea, "I understand completely that you believe that he is unfit to be your partner in this mission." He spoke, setting down his white teacup. You inwardly sighed. It wasn’t that you thought he was unfit to be your partner, you just didn’t want to work with him. "But you and Aizawa's quirks are so well matched that I think it would be beneficial for you two to work together. Though I doubt you’d need to use them." Nezu finished simply.
"I know that, but I can not work with him," You insisted, waving your arms about wildly as you felt a wave of panic and anxiety rush through you, "He's- He's stoic and apathetic-"
Nezu raised a finger to silence you, "Please, Y/N." He pleaded, "I have known you for long enough. I have watched you grow into an incredible person as a student and now teacher both intellectually, but also emotionally. I believe that you are absolutely capable of being within his presence for less than twenty-four hours. It is just one mission. You’ll be going your separate ways before you know it." Leaning back in his chair, he grinned, "I know that things will be tough for the both of you, but I know that you'll come back from the mission with the important information that we need."
You let out a sigh through your nose, running your hands through your hair before nodding hesitantly; reluctantly. "I understand, but Nez, please answer me this... How come it has to be Aizawa - aside from how well our quirks complement each other... Could there have been anyone else? I mean, there has to be somebody..."
"Why yes, there was one other option, someone whose quirk would’ve perfectly complimented your own." Nezu answered, "But, unfortunately, we lost them a long time ago..." Principle Nezu's voice then lowered, "You may know of whom I speak of."
Shutting your eyes, you nod once, dropping your head; your hands landing on your hips, "Yes, I do." You muttered before clearing your throat, "Have you told Aizawa about this arrangement yet?"
Nezu’s almost haunted expression turned into a bright smile at your question, "Nope! I thought you would like to tell him! I have papers to look at now. You leave tonight!" He spoke eccentrically, slipping off of his chair with a folder in hand. Handing you the said folder, he began to push you out of his office before giving you one last smile and shutting the door.
Letting out a deep huff, you looked down at the folder in front of you, "Let's get this over with."
Gaining the courage, you began walking down the school's halls, heading towards Aizawa’s class; reading as much as you could as you walked. He was sure to be in a class at the moment, but you wanted to get this over with as soon as humanly possible. Stopping just near the door of his classroom, you brushed your hair back, trying to look presentable and not like you had just had a small panic attack in the principal's office.
Letting out a small breath, you raised your hand and knocked on the door, the sound reverberating off the empty hall walls. You waited for a moment - the murmuring of his students inside the classroom silencing - looking down at the ground at your shoes, the door opened with a small creek. Looking up, you cleared your throat, handing him the folder.
“Aizawa,” You greeted lightly as Aizawa stared at you with his tired, crimson eyes, raising an eyebrow before taking the folder from your hand.
“L/N…” He quietly flipped the folder open as you stuffed your hands in your pants pockets, looking anywhere but at him; finding the odd, discolored spot on the wall opposite of you very interesting. This was already awkward enough.
"A mission?" He asked simply, his deep voice startling you slightly as you spun your head around to nod.
"Uh, yeah. Nezu said that it was important. It’s for tonight... It's going to be a gathering... Ah, uh, a party, with some of the smaller villains." You answered, "He said it'd take less than twenty-four hours to find out what the League is going to be targeting next."
Aizawa hummed, staring down at the folder's information. "I can do this alone."
Dropping your jaw, you stared up at him in shock, "No way! You'll stick out like a sore thumb! We have to go together."
"I can get it done alone." He insisted, glancing up at you and giving you a hard stare, "I don't need your help."
"Whether you like it or not, I have to go. I don't want this any more than you do." You stated plainly, crossing your arms against your chest. Aizawa continued to glare at you, clenching one of his fists tightly for a second before letting out an irritated sigh.
"Try not to mess this up." He replied gruffly, closing his folder once more.
Narrowing your eyes, you scoffed softly, "Like I could mess anything up." You said, grabbing the folder from him, "Meet me in my office once you're done with class, please."
Without waiting for a response, you turned and stalked away, feeling a small bit of relief once you were out of sight of him. Turning the corner, and down another hall, you enter your office. Sighing, you leaned against the wall, sliding down until you were sitting on the ground, legs coming up to your chest. Shutting your eyes, you softly leaned your head back against your door.
How were you going to survive this?
~~~
Ever since you were both in UA as students, you and Aizawa have always been at each other's throats. Well... That all wasn't all true. In fact, you really liked him. Even if he was a little cold and emotionless most of the time; possibly a bit socially awkward. You knew that there was something deeper beneath his facade, though. Your gut instinct was telling you that you needed to get closer to him. But after three years of trying to befriend him, he still didn't trust you. He didn’t really speak to you, or much of anything else... And you certainly weren't going to force him to be friends with you if he didn’t want to be. So you stopped trying.
It wasn't until you had risen above his grades in your last year at UA that the real war began. Finally, after years, you accidently got a reaction out of him. For that last year, Aizawa was insistent on getting better marks than you, beating you at all the training, sparring, and making you lose sleep and energy constantly with worry and stress, which resulted in him finally winning in the end.
So, that initial interest and curiosity that you had towards him, turned into pure irritation. The feeling was mutual. He seemed to have hated you for beating him so easily, and on some many different occasions. But, years later, you were both adults. You were a Pro Hero, and a damn good one. And so was he. But it was very hard to just let bygones be bygones. Especially when interacting with each other, it felt like you were both back to being students in UA; determined and stubborn.
~~~
It wasn't long until you heard a knock on your office door, making you look up from the papers that you were grading. "Enter." You called out, watching as Aizawa opened the door and entered the room, folder in hand. "What's your plan, then?" You asked, pushing the rest of the papers to the side. You knew better than to think that he’d allow you to take charge of the mission. No matter how much you wanted to take that leadership role, you didn’t want a fight to break out. The faster you and he worked this out, the faster the mission will be.
"It starts at five," He began, placing the folder on your desk as he surveyed your office, "We will have to take your car... It's about a thirty-minute drive from here."
"Well, that's not a problem for me." You replied, standing up from your chair, and walking around the desk, "What's our alibi?"
"Did you even read the paperwork?" He then asked, sounding a bit annoyed as he turned around, leaning against your desk.
You sputtered slightly, whipping your head around to stare at him beside you, "Of course, I did!" You lied, "I just didn't know the plan, codenames, etcetera..." You trailed off, scratching the back of your head awkwardly. “Honestly, I don’t even think we’ll need codenames or anything. We’re basically just listening in on people’s conversations.”
Aizawa sighed, ignoring your last comments, "We're newlyweds. And this is our first-anniversary celebration."
You nearly choked on your spit, "I'm sorry- We're what?!" You asked incredulously, looking at him, your eyes were wide as he kept his usual bored - annoyed - expression.
"You heard me." He spoke, turning and opening the folder, pointing at a section of a page, "The only way we'd get into the event is being a couple or else-"
"Or else we'd look suspicious... I get it." You grumbled, leaning against your desk beside him, crossing your arms as you looked over his shoulder to get a better look at the papers. Being so close to him, you could smell hints of vanilla wafting from him. You never expected him to smell like vanilla… ‘I like vanilla. And was that sandalwood?’ You suddenly felt slightly frustrated with yourself, brushing those thoughts away; unblurring your eyes as you rapidly blinked them. ‘Get your head in the game, Y/N.’ "Where is this taking place again?"
"At the Natsukashii Plaza Hotel."
"Ah, fancy..." You mumbled, reading the names of some of the people that would be there. You recognized a few lesser-known villains and other criminals. There would be a lot of powerful people in one room... It was a slightly risky mission, and the only way for this to work would be for you to keep calm and collected. Which was usually easy for you to do, but you were a bit worried since this was a large environment, and you’d have to work closely with someone that hated you. Narrowing your eyes on a page, you scoffed, "Those are our codenames?"
"I wasn't the one who came up with them." Aizawa stated, not even glancing up at you, "It is not my fault you don't like the name."
You gave him a look, “I’m not saying it is,” He didn't reply, closing the folder and setting it back onto your desk.
"I'll pick you up at four-thirty."
You blinked. "What?" You turned to look over at him as he pushed himself off of leaning on your desk beside you.
"I said-" His hardened glare narrowed down at you.
"No, I know what you said." You cut him off, uncrossing your arms as you waved a dismissive hand in the air, "Just- What? Am I supposed to dress in something nice, then?"
Turning to make his way to your office door, he answered, "You do know what a formal event is, correct?"
"Yes, of course, I do." You spat back, narrowing your eyes as you stared at the back of his head, "I just have a few more questions."
"Which are..?" He asked, turning to face you fully, the same expression on his face.
Oh, how you wished you could just do the mission on your own, but Nezu said it was an important mission, and you understood that Aizawa’s quirk matched well with yours. You understood that, and knew that, all throughout your own schooling at UA. But he frustrated you beyond belief. Why couldn't he just be nice to you?
Eyes flickering across the floor, you raised a hand, running it through your hair once more; tugging slightly at the roots, "Do we have an exit strategy? Who do we try to speak to, to get the information that we need? Or do we just try to overhear conversations?"
"We can figure that out on the way." He answered plainly, making you huff.
"What if there's an emergency, then?" You tried to ask, only for him to turn away from you once again, his hand grabbing your office door knob.
"You've been on missions before, L/N, this one is no different." He stated before leaving without another word.
You huffed again, rolling your eyes before pushing yourself off of the desk and walking around it. Sitting down, you stared at the yellow folder on your desk, closed and waiting for you to reopen it. Resting your elbows on your desk, you rubbed your tired eyelids with the palms of your hands. breathing out a deep sigh, you dropped your hands and looked to your left side, glancing at the clock.
After work would be a good time to find something suitable to wear for this mission, you decided. You tried to push the thoughts of Aizawa out of your head, but it was difficult. Every single time you thought of the man you got this weird fluttering sensation in your stomach that almost made you want to throw up. He frustrated you to no end. And somehow, someway, you felt drawn to him still. Even after all these years of wanting and needing to hate him, you still found yourself- No, no... You shook your head. You do hate him. He was rude to you, no matter how many times you tried to play nice and be kind to him, he was still rude to you. He didn't deserve to spend so much time in your head and heart.
But he did.
You needed to get back to work, you had things to do, and you only had a couple more hours left in the school day before you had to get ready for this mission. So, you really needed to get your students' papers graded.
~~~
The tick-tocking of the clock on your living room wall was beginning to irritate you. It was coming up to four-fifteen, and you were beyond anxious. You sat on your couch, your leg bouncing like crazy, dressed pretty nice enough for a party of this stature. Aside from your attire, you had done everything else you needed to do to get ready; hair and so on. You looked amazing and you knew that. But every second spent sitting and waiting for him was torture. You didn’t know why you both had to use your car, or why Aizawa couldn’t have just picked you up in his car.
You knew that this whole 'pretending to be newlyweds' thing was going to be difficult - your mental health was already shot to hell; there was too much on your plate as it is. How could you possibly pretend to be happy and all lovey-dovey with him when your real-life relationship with him was anything but? You have done many missions before - more than you could count, but none of them had you pretending to be a couple with anyone. And with Aizawa of all people...
Your mind began to wander... You'd have to hold hands, link arms... What if you had to kiss? You didn't possibly think that that would have to happen, but it made your skin buzz and your heart race at just the thought. The thought of Aizawa actually liking you, the thought of him actually caring about you... Well, it scared you, and saddened you. You had tried so hard to push down any feelings you had for him down into the depths of your very soul, that you were worried that any sort of fake affection Aizawa gives you, or any sort of physical contact, would bring back those feelings, and break you entirely.
You shook your head, trying to stop yourself from having such thoughts, your heart still racing, and your hands beginning to feel slightly clammy, you clenched your fists; feeling your quirk rushing through you as you tried to calm yourself down, only for you to hear a knock at your door. You snapped your eyes from your clenched hands to the door, and you reluctantly stood.
Your steps felt heavy as you walked over to your front door, taking a short peek through the peephole. There he stood, his form distorted from the peephole lens. You let out a deep sigh, shutting your eyes and taking in a deep breath before gaining the courage and opening the door.
Aizawa stuffed his hands into the pockets of his all-black suit, his eyes staring tiredly at the potted windowsill planter filled with different types of flowers - of yellow and red hues. His shoulders were slouched, ever-so-slightly, his body feeling as tired as his eyes did. He tried to take a small nap - during class - and before walking over to pick you up, but his mind was so busy that it was difficult to even get a couple of minutes of sleep.
Hearing the door open, Aizawa pulled his red eyes from your flowers, letting them fall on you. He took in your attire, presentable enough for a party such as the one that you were - sort of forced - to attend.
Aizawa's chest tightened slightly as he cleared his throat. "Are you ready?" He spoke up, irritation laced his words and you nodded.
"Of course," You muttered, a small frown on your face, "Are you driving or am I?" You asked as you shut the door behind you, dangling the keys from your fingers, and making Aizawa huff out a sigh. You took in his own attire as you waited for him to answer, taking note of his all-black suit, and even the way he pulled his hair up in a small ponytail; you took the chance to finally see his face that was usually mostly covered by the black mop he called his hair. Overall, the outfit looked perfect for the night. You bit your lip. "You look..." You started, stopping yourself from saying handsome. You swallowed your pride and continued, "You look nice." Nope, still awkward.
Aizawa stared at you, and for a brief moment, you thought you saw a wave of surprise filter through his eyes; his eyes widening slightly, but enough for you to notice. "You can drive. I'm tired." He then said, completely ignoring your compliment, and you pursed your lips.
Nodding your head and moving around him, you stepped down the small set of stairs down to the sidewalk. "As you always are," You muttered, not that it was his fault that he was tired all the time, you knew that it was a major drawback from his quirk. Unlocking your car with a small click of your keys, you continued, "I hope you can get some sleep before we get there." You slid into the driver's seat, Aizawa following and slipping into the passenger seat. "I don't want you falling asleep on the job." You finished, sounding slightly concerned as you started your car's engine.
~~~
"We're here," You spoke as you pulled up to an empty parking spot at the hotel. Shutting off the engine, you turned to look over at Aizawa, seeing him asleep. Your shoulders drooped as you watched Aizawa's chest rise and fall slowly, his mouth slightly open, the bags under his eyes seemed darker than usual, and his hair that wasn't tied; hung loosely against his forehead as the side of his head pressed against the chilled window. He seemed so at peace, and you almost felt terrible waking him, but you both had a job to do. Raising your hand, you hesitated slightly before gently nudging his shoulder, and from just your slight touch, he jolted awake. You pulled your hand back in surprise, watching as Aizawa blinked his still-tired eyes, looking out the front windshield. "We're here," You repeated, in a slightly softer tone.
Aizawa said nothing, nodding, unbuckling himself. Opening his suit jacket, he reached into his breast pocket, pulling out a silver band. A ring. You blinked, eyes widening as Aizawa silently handed the ring to you before he pulled out a similar one and slid it on his own ring finger. You dropped your gaze to the ring lying on the palm of your hand. Clearing your throat, you got over the initial shock and slid the ring on your finger. Staring at your hand, with the ring, you felt something inside your chest begin to tighten.
Opening your car door, you climbed out, closing the door and locking it before turning to see Aizawa standing in front of your car. You didn't even notice him get out of your car. You met his eyes, which held a mixture of confusion and annoyance, and you raised an eyebrow at him.
"We don’t have all night." He finally spoke up, before offering his arm out to you.
You rolled your eyes slightly, looping your arm around his, and placing your other hand on your hand; locking yourself onto his arm and allowing him to lead you to the hotel entrance where the party would be held.
Immediately as you stepped into the large room, you entered the lion's den. You quickly scanned your surroundings and you were surprised that you actually recognized some of the lesser-known villains who were all chatting; sipping champagne, and seemingly having a grand ol' time.
It surprised you even more that how easy it was for you and Aizawa to even enter the main part of the hotel plaza where the event was taking place. It irked you how sure these villains were that no heroes would try to enter. There weren't even any guards... You had to hold back a smirk and scoff; these villains must have been very confident. But then again, most of their power came from their quirks, and they could easily use their quirks to overpower you. But you highly doubted that they could.
As Nezu had said, and what you have always known, you and Aizawa were a very powerful duo. The combination of both of your quirks was simply too powerful to go against. Maybe not as powerful as Toshinori, but still. If the two of you worked together, the odds were stacked in your favor. Plus, you were smart enough to know that there were three separate entrances to the venue. So just in case anything were to happen - which you hoped wouldn't - you and Aizawa could easily escape if need be.
You looked over at Aizawa, who watched the large room carefully with his own eyes. His whole body seemed tense as he surveyed, and took in every detail. You dropped your gaze, your ears taking in the music playing; hearing it echoing beautifully throughout the room. Your eyes lifted from the marble floor to the dancing villains. They were dancing wildly, twirling and spinning, moving faster and faster until they became blurs to you; matching the upbeat orchestra perfectly. You couldn't help but smile slightly at the sight.
With a short tug, you looked up at Aizawa, who looked down at you with an eyebrow raised. He gestured to the dancefloor with his eyes, his frown deepened. "No.” He simply said.
“We should.” You stated, raising your own eyebrow.
"We are not dancing." He stated firmly.
"I think we are," You insisted stubbornly, "It would help us, wouldn't it? Blend in? We’re sitting ducks."
Aizawa stared at you, narrowing his eyes slightly before nodding. Without another word, he began to lead you to the dance floor. You could feel the butterflies in your stomach swarming, and the feeling only intensified as Aizawa wrapped his arm around your waist. You watched with bated breath as he took your hand, your free hand automatically coming up to rest on his shoulder. Quickly, you became very impressed - and shocked - as Aizawa began to lead you into a waltz. His usual tense posture settled, his eyes never leaving yours.
His movements were as smooth as ever; the sound of your shoes on the cold, hard floor, and the beat of the music resonating within the room echoed around you. The music, while slow-paced, carried a sense of energy, yet at the same time, it was leisurely and soothing. You almost found this scenario romantic. You couldn't find words, your eyes just staring up into his scarlet eyes.. And you couldn't look away.
And for a moment, in the slightest of moments, you forgot all about the people milling around you and the noise. You forgot about the mission, and the years of bickering back and forth. You forgot about everything, and all you could focus on was the warmth of his skin on yours and the way his eyes seemed to stare right into your soul. Your mind became clouded with thoughts; thinking about when you first met, remembering him all those years ago, and about your feelings. So quiet, so handsome, so intelligent he was, and more so to this day. His hair still looked so soft, even back then, it had been shorter too; you remembered. Your eyes found themselves admiring the dark locks of his hair. Your hand on his shoulder twitched at the thought of running your fingers through it. Your heart pounded against your ribcage; your breath hitched. Those feelings, though hidden for years, were resurfacing; and resurfacing fast.
Before you knew it, you were quickly snapped out of your head, your ears picking up on a conversation. You strained your ears, turning your head just slightly to catch a glimpse of the couple that were dancing only a couple of feet from you. You did not know them, the man and woman, but they were talking about the League Of Villains.
"-they're going to attack some hospital." You heard from the man, glancing up at Aizawa to see if he was hearing the same thing as you, and with the slight change in his eyes, you knew he was.
"To get All-Might to show, I am sure." The woman chuckled wickedly, making you inwardly sigh.
Raising an eyebrow towards Aizawa, he only silently huffed in response before the man spoke up again, "Wasn't your mother recently discharged from that hospital?"
"Oh, yes," The woman nodded as she spoke, "I'm glad she won't be there Thursday when they come."
As the song came to an end, Aizawa was more than happy to lead you out and away from the dancefloor, finding a spot near the bar. Leaning against the back of the bar, you turned slightly to wave down the bartender.
"You're drinking?" Aizawa asked, and you nodded, as the bartender walked over; allowing you to order your drink.
"I trust you with driving me home," You spoke simply, as the bartender went to make your drink. "So," You began, looking up at him, arms crossed, "What do you think, husband?" The word felt foreign on your tongue, but almost felt too easy to say out loud.
"You know what I think," Aizawa muttered, eyeing the bartender as he made your drink, narrowing his eyes at the glass of liquor as he slid it to you. It wasn't poisoned, thankfully... Hopefully.
You took the drink in your hand, swirling the liquid around in the glass, you pursed your lips, "I do," In the silence, you felt the back of your neck itch as a tense, uncomfortable atmosphere filled the air between you and Aizawa. You didn't know why - well, you did - but you found yourself staring at him. You cleared your throat quietly, looking back down at your drink, your mouth opening but Aizawa quickly spoke up.
"You look nice..." He commented bluntly, repeating your words from when he came to pick you up, quickly catching you by surprise. You blinked owlishly, unsure how to respond to his sudden compliment, and you couldn't help but let out a small laugh. Feeling your face flush, you shook your head slightly, biting your lip.
"And you look exhausted," You laughed out, looking back up at him with a smile.
"Why, thank you-" He cut himself off before rolling his eyes. Although his tone sounded sarcastic, the faint smile that stretched across his lips gave away the fact that he was amused by your remark - at least somewhat. "I'm fine, though," He added after a moment of awkward silence passed between you. And at that small glimpse of his smile, you felt that fluttering feeling in your chest once again. God, why did it have to be like this?
"I'm going to mingle, see if I can find anything else out," You spoke up in a soft mutter only he could hear after taking one sip from your drink, and setting it down on the bartop, "You'll be alright without me, right, dearest?" You asked, shifting your weight slightly as you tilted your head.
He crossed his arms, narrowing his eyes slightly before nodding. "Of course, love," He responded, and that made you pause. Looking up at him, you blinked before you got yourself together and gave him a small - almost shy and nervous - smile, walking into the crowd.
Aizawa watched you go, eyeing all the villains as you passed them. Dropping his gaze from you, he eyed your drink. You had hardly taken even a sip, the soft pink colored drink just sitting there out in the open. Aizawa moved his hand against the bartop, pausing just at your drink before he slid the drink further from his and yours spot. The bartender then took the drink away, giving Aizawa a nod before he began to help the others at the bar. Eyeing some of the people that also stood at the bar, Aizawa tried to listen in on anything, but with no such luck. No one else had been talking about the League’s evil plans.
He sighed, becoming bored, his eyes finally moving to find you, spotting you conversing with someone. That someone, Aizawa knew - who was obviously some sort of villain - was making you laugh. Whatever he said made your smile widen and that melodic laughter filled the room; sending chills down Aizawa's spine. Even through the music playing he could recognize and hear your voice clearly.
Aizawa hadn't even realized that he was staring. His dark red eyes glaring holes into the side of the villain's head. He didn't know who the lesser-known villain was, and he didn't care to find out. All Aizawa knew was that he didn't like how close he was to you. Forcing himself to look away, he allowed himself to look anywhere else but at you.
Aizawa had known you for years, having gone to UA with you. He remembered you to be friendly - kind to everyone - and very skilled at fighting and mastering your quite powerful quirk. In the very beginning, Aizawa found you slightly annoying, always bright and sunny. And for some odd reason, you really wanted to be friends with him. But, that annoyance slowly became something different. Something he hadn't noticed. Something he didn't want to notice. Something he wanted to fight tooth and nail to prevent, even if he knew it wasn't possible. He knew he shouldn't be feeling these things; these emotions. Feelings were dangerous. They caused trouble. They led to bad decisions. They led to regret. And all Aizawa wanted to do was study hard, work hard, and get on with life. So, like most emotions - that wasn't annoyance, boredom, and exhaustion - he tucked them away.
Then came the last year of UA, you had stopped trying to befriend him. Seeing that you were getting nowhere with him, and he did have to admit that he wasn’t the… Nicest when speaking to you. But suddenly you were getting better grades than him. This incident - playfully called 'the war' by Hizashi - began. You had gotten better marks than Aizawa, and he quickly became insistent on beating you. He knew he shouldn't care, and that in the end, it didn't at all matter who was on top, but he couldn't help it. He tried to push you down, studying harder each night. Training with Toshinori and Hizashi whenever he could. But you were stronger than you showed to everyone else, stronger than you showed even to yourself.
At some point in the last year, your teachers stopped pairing the two of you against each other for training. Aizawa and your quirks, when used together, created an almost deadly combination - both powerful and destructive. Training usually ended up with the both of you in the medical wing after a draw.
"Hey, are you ready to go? I couldn’t find anything.” You muttered that last part.
Aizawa turned his head from staring blankly at a wall, his tired eyes meeting yours. "Hmm?" He hummed, making your small smile drop, and your eyebrows to furrow.
"Are you alright?" You asked, only for Aizawa to nod stiffly, his hand quickly taking yours before leading you out of the hotel.
You followed, almost tripping at times with how quickly he was moving, and - somehow - not bringing any attention to the both of you. These smaller villains really were dimwitted. You looked up at Aizawa, watching the side of his face. His lips were turned into a deep frown, his eyes half-lidded, tired, and seemingly irritated as usual. You huffed, narrowing your eyes at him before turning to watch in front of you. Aizawa was back to his usual, cold self; you were sure.
Stopping at your car, Aizawa dropped your hand as quickly as he grabbed it, and funnily enough, you missed his warmth. Without even looking at you, he held out his hand, palm up, and with a scoff, you dropped your keys into his awaiting hand. You silently slipped into the passenger seat of your car, buckling and crossing your arms. The drive home was tense, and it felt hard to swallow. You didn't dare to look at him while the both of you sat next to each other in complete silence.
You finally glanced over at him when you reached your home and he parked the car. His hands held onto the steering wheel tightly, his knuckles white. His eyes stared ahead, the same cold expression on his face. You were confused, and a bit frustrated. You had thought that maybe he was beginning to like you when you were at that party. He joked with you, he even smiled at you, but as quickly as you thought that you made some sort of progress in getting to know him - even just slightly - he was right back to his old self. He was just like before, cold and distant - and you wanted answers.
"Why do you hate me?" You suddenly asked, and Aizawa turned his head to meet your gaze. There was no response. Instead, he merely continued to stare right at you with those red eyes. How his cold, unfeeling expression never changed. The look in those eyes was unnerving. It unsettled you; it made you feel weak - for the first time in forever - like you were nothing to the Underground Hero.
He looked away from you, and you could basically see the gears turning in his head before he spoke, "I don't hate you."
You sighed deeply, rubbing your temples before pinching the bridge of your nose. "You have a funny way of showing it." You shot back.
"I don't hate you," He repeated, his tone firmer now. You rolled your eyes and shook your head, leaning back against your car's leather seat and closing your eyes, letting out a quiet sigh. You opened your eyes again when you heard him shift uncomfortably in his chair. "I don't hate you at all."
"Then why do you act all..." You trailed off, waving your hand in the air slightly as you tried to find the right words to say, "Act all rude and grumpy to me?" You finished your sentence softly, "I mean, I thought that we were doing okay. You weren’t acting all grumpy when we were at the party. You even smiled. And then you just switch on me. And you’re back to your stoic attitude. I don't think I did anything to you to deserve that. Did I do something wrong? Have I done anything to offend you?"
"No," He muttered quietly, glancing over at you before returning his eyes to the road, dropping his hands from the wheel. "No, you didn't," He agreed.
"Well then, what is it?" You demanded, your voice still soft, but still holding hints of frustration. You weren't about to let this opportunity slip through your fingers. Not again.
Aizawa pursed his lips, taking in a deep breath before looking at you. And he surprised you with the expression on his face. Soft... Not cold, nor angry, but warm... Almost tender. You bit down on your bottom lip, forcing yourself not to look away, and you were more than sure that your eyes were beginning to trick you. Because you were sure that you saw his eyes flicker from yours to your lips and back. No, you thought. It's just your mind playing tricks on you. Nothing more.
"It's just..." He started, pausing as he pulled his hair out from the ponytail, and running a hand through his hair; sighing heavily. "Why are you so desperate to get to know me?"
"What?" Was all that left your mouth. That was not what you were expecting him to say at all.
Aizawa began to internally panic, shaking his head as he went to grab the car's door handle, "Nevermind. I'll see you at UA."
Eyes widening, you shook your own head, "Wait, Shōta" You reached out for him, your hand coming to rest on his arm. "Please, can we just talk? And please, don’t shut me out."
At the sound of his name coming from your lips, Aizawa froze. Slowly lowering his hand, he took a deep breath before glancing towards you. He could feel his heart begin to race and his cheeks heat up, and he hated it. This feeling was something that he was not used to and one that he tried to avoid. But as you stared at him, your eyes wide with worry, a small frown on your lips, Aizawa felt himself grow nervous. Shutting his eyes, he felt a buzzing sensation rush over him, making his skin itch. He held back a yawn, his eyes feeling so incredibly tired, and as he opened them again, he knew there was no way out of this.
"I never could hate you, Y/N." He began as he moved his gaze back to you; his gaze determined, "Even when we were students, I began to… Admire you." His mouth suddenly felt incredibly dry, and he cleared his throat. "I always admired your courage, your determination, and your will to win. I always respected your intelligence and your kindness - not to mention you're a great teacher." He paused again. Your hand slid from his arm, and Aizawa wished - prayed - that the world would just swallow him up. He was not good at feelings, or expressing them, especially to someone like you. You, the one that tried so hard to befriend him all those years ago, yet he pushed away. You, the one that always managed to pull him right back. You were like an ocean wave, crashing against the sandy shore, pulling him back into your deep blue sea.
He snapped out of his thoughts when he heard your laugh. His face began to burn as his eyebrows furrowed in confusion and slight hurt; were you laughing at him, or was he thinking too much? He couldn't tell. But, as you laughed, your hand covering your mouth, he couldn't help but stare as the lights from the street lamps danced across your beautiful face, illuminating every feature. Your eyes crinkled as your cheeks dimpled, your hair falling forward and hiding your face from view. You were stunning, as always.
Your soft laughter subsided, and you brushed your hair out of your face, looking up at Aizawa with a look that he wished he could capture and keep forever. Maybe, just maybe, you weren't going to reject him after all. Maybe you weren’t laughing at him. He felt his heart beating quicker and faster, and as he swallowed heavily, anticipation simmered deep within him. Then... You spoke.
"I think that was the most you've ever said to me," You stated, almost teasingly, your smile growing wider with each word.
Aizawa blinked at you, his eyebrows furrowing further together, "Perhaps..." He trailed off, and it wasn't long until you spoke again.
"If I am picking up what you're putting down, I think you're saying that you like me." You stated, raising an eyebrow as your smile slowly spread into a smirk. "Am I assuming correctly..?" You asked, your voice trailing off and amusement lacing your voice. Aizawa simply kept his gaze locked on you, his body tense and stiff in his seat. As your words processed in his brain, Aizawa felt his stomach twist painfully at the realization. He nodded, and you mimicked him with a small hum. "Good, 'cause I've liked you ever since we were students." You confessed, chuckling lightly as you gazed into his dull crimson eyes.
"Ever since UA?" Aizawa asked and you nodded, resting your elbow on the middle console, your palm cupping your cheek, holding your head up.
"Yeah," You said, "Wasn't it obvious? I mean, the first two years I will admit that I was pretty determined to get to know you." You then let out a small laugh, rolling your eyes fondly, "My friends said I was like some love-sick puppy."
"Hizashi liked to tease me about it, actually." Aizawa muttered, but you heard him, your smile widening.
Glancing at the car's clock, you sighed, before glancing back over at him, "Do you want to walk me to my door?" With his nod, it wasn’t long until you were walking up the steps; letting out a sigh as you reached the front door. Keys in hand, you turned to Aizawa with a grin. "Well, I’ll text Nezu the information we got tonight, but, I guess I'll see you tomorrow?"
Aizawa looked at you, and it was difficult to ignore how close you were. He noticed how your lips parted slightly, how your eyes sparkled in the light of the street lamps as you focused on him. He was so affected by your presence.
His body seemed to react to you without him realizing it. His hand reached up, brushing a few stray strands of hair away from your face, his thumb grazing over your jawline softly. He watched the way your eyes widened slightly at his touch. Your breath hitched in your throat, and his thumb lingered over your jawline for just a moment longer.
Slowly drawing his hand away, falling to his side, Aizawa nodded. "Yeah," He mumbled in reply. "I'll see you tomorrow." He smiled, the smallest of smiles, but one of the most genuine ones that you had ever seen.
"Okay," You breathed out your reply with a slight nod of your head, turning back around, opening the door with one final glance towards him, "Goodnight, Shōta." With those words, you slipped inside, closing the front door behind you with a soft click. Pressing your back against the door, you were unable to stop the smitten smile that spread across your features, your hands cupping your mouth, and your legs coming up to your chest; your entire body felt like it was on fire.
Shōta Aizawa glanced at your front door once more before beginning his walk down the sidewalk. He couldn't believe it, but he still found himself smiling to himself as he walked home.

You were standing on the rooftop of the U.A. dorms, leaning against the railing with a lit cigarette between your fingers. You blew out smoke into the night air blissfully unaware of your surroundings. The rest of the class was asleep in their rooms, none would be awake to see you. Suddenly the roof door opens, mid inhale, to reveal your teacher, Mr. Aizawa. You quickly flick the cigarette off the roof and cough the smoke into your jacket.
He turns towards you, “Y/n? Kid, what are you doing up so late?” he says raising an eyebrow.
Fuck, he has awful timing. You were scared by his sudden appearance that the smoke got caught in your throat. “Hi Mr. Aizawa, cough, I was just-, coUGH-, out here for uh, breather, COUGH, COUGH.” You wave him over, trying to play it off as if you just needed some space. But the residual smoke in your lungs made it hard to breathe.
He sighed, shaking his head disappointed. He’s seen this happen before, too many times with students to believe your words. He walks closer to you, still keeping a distance from you.
“Don’t give me that ‘breath of fresh air crap’. Why are you out here? Really?”
“I told you I came out here for some quiet,” You tried to redirect the conversation, “Bakugo was yelling at me for what happened this morning during training.” You say rolling your eyes at the memory. You recall the scruffy blonde yelling at you after a training incident. You were told to destroy your assigned training dummies. But that objective went out the window when you decided to use a new special move you came up with and accidentally knocked out all of yours and Bakugo’smachines in one go.
“Trust me if I didn't take a breather out here, we would be in Principle Nezu's office right now for fighting and property damage,” you said chuckling.
He sighed, looking back at you. "I'm sorry to hear that. Bakugo is hotheaded and I’ll talk to him about it afterward.. But you're not supposed to be out here. It's 1:56 am and you have to get up early in the morning for school."
“Yeah I know, well I should be heading to bed then…” This conversation has gone on for more than you would like, so it's time for you to roll up outta here! “Well, goodnight Mr. Aizawa I will see you in class tomorrow!” You start walking towards the door to leave, “I hope you have a good night and-”
Aizawa stops you by your shoulder, preventing you from leaving. “Hold it kid, you can't pull crap like that on me. Sit back down.” He says gesturing to a metal box next to him
Shit.
You sit your ass back down. You didn’t need to look up at his face to know that he was less than displeased with you. His eyes were practically burning into your head. You haven't seen this side of Aizawa before, and it was scary.
“Now, give me the pack.” he holds his hand out in front of you.
“What do you mean? Mr. Aizawa I-” You try to defend yourself but he cut you off not letting you speak.
“Stop talking hand them over.” You're caught, and you know it. “You're on thin ice kid,”
You fumble threw your pocket trying to find the box, you just finished the pack that night so you weren't worried about losing it. But what did make you worried was the look on Mr. Aizawa's disappointed glare was bad enough as you placed the red box into your teacher's hand.
He takes the box in his hand and places it in his pocket. He moves to lean back on the railing as he looks at you. “Y/n, you know we don’t tolerate this stuff here. I understand training can be tough but you can’t be pulling crap like this.”
“I know,” I say lowering my gaze.
“How long were you even out here?” He questions.
I recall the actions that led me here in my head: Well, I came out here after Bakugo and I had a screaming match, and that was at 10 I think… “Since 10 probably,”
“10...” He groaned and rubbed his nose. “Okay, okay, how do you get your hands on these?”
“I found them..” You lie through your teeth.
“You found them? Hm, you just found cigarettes lying around?” He questions unconvinced by your answer. “Seriously Y/n you’re not gonna get into any more trouble by being honest with me right now. Spill.”
“Well… I'm not lying, I did find them.” You admit shifting uncomfortably in your seat, “They're from my family... they leave the packs lying around and I just steal them when they're not looking.”
Aizawa was beginning to get rather annoyed. He was tired, as were most of the staff, and finding a student on the roof smoking was just the cherry on top. “You know that smoking on campus grounds is punishable by expulsion?” He stated, crossing his arms. A look of fear shot into your eyes. Expulsion?! "And if said family found out you were expelled for this, where would that leave you?"
“I…” you take a moment to think about how angry your father would be if he found out. You don't know what would be worse: if he found out about the stolen cigarettes or the fact that they got you expelled from the top hero school. “Well, I don’t know…”
“You don’t know…” He sounded angry, maybe a little concerned. An awkward silence fell over the two of you until Aizawa spoke again. “Listen, kid, your lucky it was me who found you. Any other teacher would have reported you on the spot. But, I for one, don’t think its fair for a student’s future to fall apart after one mistake. So, I'm giving you one chance to get clean.”
You look up at him with hopeful eyes, “Really?”
“Yeah, you’ve got potential as a hero and a good heart. I’d hate to see it go down the drain. You got one chance to do better or I won't help you the next time you get caught.” After a brief moment of silence, he speaks up again.
“You’ve got a good head on your shoulders kid, use it.”
By this time tears have been threatening to spill from your eyes. You have been feeling so many emotions at one time. You can’t help yourself as you dive to hug Mr. Aizawa.
He jumps a little, taken aback by the sudden affection. “T-thank you Mr. Aizawa,” You're now sobbing into his black shirt as relief washes over you.
He places one arm around you and the other on your head, gently patting it. “Don’t mention it kid..” You both just stay like that for a little bit, him holding you while petting your head. Whilst you calm yourself down. You pull yourself away from the hug wiping your tears, “Seriously though, don’t mention it. This could get both of us kicked out of U.A.” His tone turned more serious.
You let out a little giggle at the sudden change in tone, “Of course Sensei.”
He hums in response, “Tonight I expect you to hand me over any extra pack of these,” he says while tapping the cigarette box in his pocket, “And tomorrow we are going to recovery girl to help heal some of the damage done to your lungs. She owes me a favor so she’ll be discrete about it.”
You nod, “And from now on you have to be on your best behavior and not lie to me anymore, alright?”
“Yes, Sensei,”

Hello I’m new to the fandom.
I was wondering if I could have Headcannons of Aizawa and Pendent Mic if their they witnessed their pro hero s/o fighting Muscular on live tv and they are bloody and bruised up but keep on fighting until other pro heroes show to help out?
a/n: sorry it took me a while to come around to this request but I hope you enjoy it! sorry if present mic part is short I usually don’t write for him a lot.
Aizawa and Present Mic witnessing their s/o fight Muscular
Aizawa:
Tumblr media
When Aizawa saw what was happening on the news he panicked, this is why you weren’t answering your phone calls or texts messages. The newsmen zoomed in on you and Aizawa took in every little detail that he saw you looked tired, bruised and cut up. Your hero costume was torn in a few spots, but that didn’t stop you from standing tall against Muscular. Obviously the newsmen couldn’t understand any words you were saying to Muscular, but Aizawa noticed you were saying something to him.
He saw the rage fill in your eyes as you quickly summoned your quirk again, he knew how exhausted you would get when you would overuse your quirk yet here you were continuing to summon it without hesitation. Aizawa wanted to go help you, he couldn’t stand seeing you like that any longer; but he was told to stay in the dorms with his students in case the whole thing was a distraction. Aizawa tried hiding his emotions in front of the 1A class students as they watched as well, some of them would cheer you on.
Even Bakugou stated that there’s no way Muscular could win against you, “hmp, they’re tough as shit! Ain’t no way they’re going to do down that easily.” Bakugou was right though, you were able to hold off Muscular until more pro-heroes came to your aid, he watched as fatgum quickly carry you to safety disappearing away from the camera. Aizawa was able to convince All Might to watch over the students so he could go see you at the hospital (he basically drove like a madman over to you)
Once he arrives at your room he’ll quickly kneel beside your bed and ask if you’re okay, even after the battle you went through you still give him a warm smile and say you’re fine. Can’t cuddle with you in bed, but will definitely hold your hand throughout the night because he’s afraid of losing you and baby boy just needs reassurance.
Present mic:
Tumblr media
Tries not having a meltdown as he watches you fight with Muscular on tv, we saw how he acted when he saw Aizawa get badly injured by the Nomu so he’s definitely going to be acting the same as well when you happen to be in a fight. Midnight and Aizawa try their best to help him relax, but he just can’t. He knows you can hold your end well, but Muscular already killed two pro heroes without showing any mercy. He flinches as he sees that you’re already bleeding from the side of your head, he doesn’t realize he’s holding his breath until Aizawa tells him to relax.
He desperately bounced his leg as he watched you dodge Muscular attacks often whispering himself “to the right!” Or “dodge!” He was beginning to wonder if other pro-heroes would come help you or if they assumed you could handle it on your own (which he hoped they would still come to your aid either way) when the heroes did come help you though he felt relieved, he knew you could hold up your own which he was proud of you for, but now he just wanted to be by your side.
Principle Nezu allowed him to leave and go visit you at the hospital, when he arrived he gently placed a kiss on your lips as he held your hand. “You really are amazing, but I’m still going to get worried about you Y’know?” You nodded in agreement “I would’ve been the same if it was you.” You said to him as you smiled at him, god did he just want to cuddle with you right now; but you needed rest. So he would wait for you until you recovered.

Imagine this scenario going doing, Midorya is leading Rody and his little siblings back to AU, whilst Shoto and Bakugo are trailing behind scowling cause Rody is to close to Midorya for their liking.
They get there and Principal Nezu is there awaiting them cause he was informed of Rody and his siblings visiting. He notices Bakugo and Shoto clearly staring dangers at Rody, and then get idea.
Nezu: Welcome Rody Soul to AU, it is a pleasure to have you visit us, and honor that you’ve had helped us save the world. I’m principal Nezu, and I’d like to give you my thanks, by offering to extend you Visa whilst you’re here, that way you and your siblings may explore more of Japan and have as much fun as you would like. Unfortunately, we don’t have any extra dormitories, so you’ll have to sure a dorm room with someone, and sense Midorya seems quite close to you, would you 2 mind bunking together?
Midorya: why of course not Principle sir
Rody (smugly smiling and looking back at Bakugo and Shoto from the corner of his eye): oh no, I don’t mind at all
Principal Nezu: wonderful, as for your siblings, they can stay with a little girl we have here named Eri, we’ve also got some other young children coming over soon, their names are Koda, Katsuma, and his older sister Mahoro
In which Nezu is truly an agent of chaos lol.

“I heard my presence was needed here, Rima.” He was not so subtly hiding a large baseball bat behind himself.
----------------
Tumblr media
"Principle Nezu!" Rima scrambled to catch her canned coffee. She anxiously looks around.
"Wh-what are you doing here? Why do you have a bat?!" She wasn't being a college student NO not at all.

[Continuing to empty my drafts]
MHA Prompt
Part One
Shigaraki x Reader
---
You met Shigaraki as a child and tried to help him, the only person to before AFO disappeared with him. You never found out what happened to him until later while helping your classmates retrieve Bakago from the league.
Your job was to help launch the others into the air but then you recognize one of the villains. Todoroki and Momo don’t notice that you’re not following them to get away afterwards. Instead you walk towards Tomura, calling his name in a scared yet hopeful voice. Tomura feels like he’s seeing a ghost. Hearing your voice after all these years, his arms instinctively welcome your crashing embrace, being careful not to fully touch you with his hands.
You’re too relieved to see each other that you forget where you are for a moment too long. AFO starts to warp the league away but first asks Tomura if he wanted to take you (he too greeted you warmly). Tomura swears that he’ll never lose you again and lets out a sigh of relief as you’re both being consumed by the portal. You couldn’t believe that the sweet and scruffy little boy you’d found had turned into the man in front of you.
It was news that you knew Shigaraki and immediately everyone is scrambling to piece the puzzle together. Allmight’s furious for failing to rescue yet another student but based off of the interaction, Principle Nezu and the police don’t believe that Shigaraki will hurt you, not without being provoked; he clearly cares about you. So you should be okay for now.
Back at the villain base, you’re still trying to wrap your head around the small scruffy kid you'd found under a bridge causing all of this chaos. It’s hard to see him as a villain now that you’ve heard his voice again, sounding almost exactly the same. He looked the same as well, only now he looked down at you; he’s grown so much. Tomura would be far more upset about losing AFO if it weren’t for you being here and Dabi wonders if you’re actually a new problem, watching how different Tomura is behaving; like nothing else mattered anymore. His fingers traced through your hair as he continued to breath it all in..you were really here.. While introducing you to the rest of the league, Tomura thinks back to the only fond memory of his childhood.
--
After destroying his family, and a few days of wandering in search of help, a hero, anything, Tomura settled under a bridge to rest. He was terrified and confused, feeling utterly lost when some little girl came running. She was a mess but smiled as if she was as rich as could be and offered her hand to him. He pulled back, saying how she'd die if he touched her with his hands. So instead she sits beside him and introduces herself; y/n y/l/n. You watched him walking down the street and figured he was homeless like you were. He couldn't put what had happened into any certain words yet, but, yes he was. "Not anymore! Let's go!"
You dragged him to his feet and made him follow you back to your 'home'. It was a small group of homeless people who lived together on the outskirts of town. They'd all been thrown away by society like the trash they lived in, but this place was a home just as good as any other. You lived here with your older brother but everyone else was your 'bonus' family. "We all look after each other, so I'll look after you from now on, and you'll look after me too! Okay?"
"...okay.."
Tomura was only with you for a couple weeks. He had too many unanswered questions and unresolved emotions to not go with All for One. His feet did falter though, suddenly resisting walking away from you. Maybe he should say goodbye first? Leave a note or something?? You had shared everything you had with him, even if it wasn't much, it was his. He wanted to give you the same and more though so he walked away, making a child's promise to come back and give you a better life. That promise lived in his heart for a few years but AFO's overwhelming influence and 'teachings' pushed it deep down where Tomura wouldn't remember it until today when you'd come running to him again.
--
It was pretty bare bones but Tomura gives you the bedroom in the back to stay in for the night. He shuts the door behind him before crossing the room, interrupting your train of thought with a finger tracing your cheek. Your eyes swimming with emotion was everything Tomura thought it would be. "Y-You're touching me..." "Yes, finally." It seemed you remembered how the nights were cold and you'd forced Tomura to accept your blanket. You bundled him up in it so there wasn't a way for him to accidently touch you while he slept, then pulled on your sweater and wrapped yourself around him like a koala. Body heat was all you had some nights so you wished Tomura sweet dreams before drifting off. His wish was to be able to hold you back one day. At night sleeping, while running around, playing, or that one time you tripped and scraped your knee; Tomura wished more than anything that he could've comforted you just once. Finally it was his chance. He pulls you back into his arms and holds you, properly, with his entire being. Your hands wrapping around him as well, a forgotten feeling that never grew old.
You fell asleep at some point and wake up to Tomura tucking you under the blankets, but again to a cold breeze brushing over you. He had you in his arms and tells you to go back to sleep. Only half awake to begin with, you fall back asleep immediately. The next time you wake up you're in a new place and don't see or hear anyone. The bedroom is much nicer than before and a change of clothes are waiting for you at the foot of the bed. You change then poke your head out the door. Still no one.
There was only one of two options, so you choose right and start walking down the hallway. At the crossroads you go right again, hearing voices coming from that direction. None of them belong to Tomura but some are familiar enough that you decide to knock on the door. Hopefully they wouldn't attack you, and hopefully you wouldn't attack them. Just your luck though Dabi opens the door and you sock him in the jaw with everything you have. You didn't use your quirk, it'd be foolish to actually try and start something with the league right now, but damn did you still put your back into it. You shake off the pain while Dabi regains his balance, checking that his jaw was still in tact. "Why you little-" "That was for Aizawa." "Huh?" "At the training camp, when you all attacked. You hurt my teacher. Now we're even pretty boy."
"Even?" "Who'd he attack??" "'Pretty boy'-HIM?!" At least the others saw the humor in this bc Dabi's cremated people for just existing and if it wasn't for Shigaraki's strict order not to harm you, he'd be melting your bones. Instead he scorns the rest of the league for getting a laugh off of him. And what choice does he have but to let you in and wait with them for Shigaraki to get back from his meeting with Overall.
"Who?"
"That's none of your business."
"...Are you mad that I punched you..?"
"AFO save this girl...and the hell is so funny now?"
"She is. We like her" Mr. Compress and Toga giggled.
"You wouldn't if you'd gotten punched."
"Maybe, but still."
"Can I?"
"...Can you what?"
"Can I punch you as well. You're the one who kidnapped Bakago, you hurt Ochako, you were fighting the Pussycats, and you-!..well, I don't remember you; I won't hit you then." They league all look at each other trying to figure out if you were serious. You looked it but didn't sound angry or upset at all. Mr. Compress asks why that is, "Shouldn't you be trying to arrest all of us for being villains, little hero.?" You scoff as if he'd insulted you by calling you that. "I don't know most of you so I don't know why you're here, but I know that that doesn't instantly mean you're bad people. I'm sure you all have your reasons and it's possible that they're valid, maybe even right, who knows. My issue with you right now is that you've hurt people I care about. I won't ignore or forgive anyone who does that. So I want to punch you all and call it even. That's what fair looks like to me."
"..." "..." "..." "..."
--
'The hell is that sound?' Shigaraki opens the door expecting to break up a fight, not to see his member's cheering you on as you lined up your fist with Twice's jaw before winding up to hit him with everything you had. His literal split reaction has Toga rolling on the floor laughing with her own swollen cheek, and Spinner patting you on the back for your "good shot!" It looks like even Dabi's smiling but the wheels are turning in his head over something you said: "I don't know most of you" were you referring to knowing Shigaraki, or, was there someone else here that you knew...He'd be keeping a closer eye on you now. However, he did have to admit that as far as heroes go you weren't a shitty one. He's never heard someone talk about villains in such a non-black and white way before. You saw them as people first and for most of the people in this room, that's all they wanted.
"Do I dare ask."
Everyone finally notices Shigaraki standing in the doorway and in tandem look between you, Shigaraki, each other, back to you and Shigaraki, then to each other again with devilish eyes that screamed "YES!!!?!" A few minutes later you try to rub soothing circles over Tomura's cheek but he slaps your hand away, still grumbling about what he did to deserve getting clobbered as well. You laugh and are happy that he welcomes your touch this time. "For leaving without saying goodbye." "I was only gone for half an hour-..oh, right...alright fair enough."
There were obvious topics that needed to be discussed, but first he wanted to pretend none of that mattered and play catch up. He explains how and why he left, and in summary what's happened since. You remember being terrified to hear that some man had taken Tomura; it usually never ended well when something like that happened to people like you. You'd tried finding out more about Tomura's whereabouts for a while but the police catch you trying to steal food one day. Then the next you're placed into an orphanage.
You tried running away one night but your brother found you and to your amazement wasn't there to rescue you. He wanted you to stay where there was food and shelter. You were heartbroken to watch him disappear into the night, leaving you behind. It took you a long time to get over. The truth that you found out many years later when revisiting your old community was that your brother had become sick. Really sick. As hard as he worked to take care of you, he knew what was going to happen soon. This way, he could leave you with the best possible chance to make it in the world. Get adopted by good people, live a good life, one where he could leave knowing you'd be okay. You never saw your brother again. Like he wanted, you were adopted shortly after by a very nice couple who did give you a good life. They were the ones who encouraged you to apply for UA's heroes course and were probably sitting at home right now, worried sick about you... "Sorry," you wipe your face "I know how you feel about this stuff." Another hand helps you finish drying your cheek, "I know how I feel about you too; it's okay."
Tomura was happy to hear that despite choosing to become a hero, you were still the same person at heart. Mr. Compress reiterated what you had said that they all willingly allowed you to punch them. It sounded just like you and a part of him felt proud that his group approved. He wished that more people could be like you, someone who truly could agree to disagree with others, including himself. Maybe if he had chosen to stay with you, things would be different; he would be different. Thoughts like that were a secret place most villains let their minds wonder to when they were alone; all of the 'what if's' that could have happened if the 'if only's' had happened. Sometimes they were fond thoughts, sometimes not. But for him you always were, and if Tomura could go back in time then maybe-...maybe.
Shigaraki couldn't let you leave yet though or tell you anything that could be used against them once you were released. Hearing that created some tension between you two, but that night you open the bedroom door to the nervous ball of scruff asking if you'd let him lay with you. "I never got to hold you" "Maybe if you hadn't left..." "..." "Sorry. Come on." He hesitates until you manage a small smile and reach for his arm "it's okay. I promise." Tomura closes the door behind him and follows you to the bed. He laughs a bit, "You sleep in all of your clothes still?"
"Some habits never die. Besides, it makes me think of you."
"Really??" You nod laying down beside him "but look at us now. Clothes on our backs AND plenty of blanket to share. Guess we both made it out" Tomura greedily pulls you into his chest, wishing now that he didn't have to keep on these damn half gloves. You nuzzle in closer and wished him the same sweet dreams you did as kids. You fall asleep first and Tomura makes another wish; to keep his promise, and never let you go again.
--
You're kept with the league for a at least another week, it's hard to tell exactly since you're not allowed access to any technology let alone to leave. Tomura is willing to share that you're in an underground labyrinth, curtesy of a potential ally, but that's about it. Hopefully you'd be able to leave once Tomura finished up his business here, but he didn't feel the same way. Thanks to your 'agree to disagree' and 'only harm those who harm you' mentality, the league enjoys your company despite your career prospects. Even though the next time you meet would most likely be on the battlefield, that didn't mean it had to be personal. For now you eat, drink, joke and play games together.
The only hold out is Dabi. He's kept an eye on you like he said he would but nothing's stuck. As long as you weren't staying it shouldn't matter but Shigaraki has been dragging his feet to move forward with the leagues plans a bit too much. Dabi thinks that it's bc of you and your 'there's no need for needless violence' mentality rubbing off on everyone.
Shigaraki's meeting with Overall should last a little longer, giving Dabi enough time to interrogate you. He doesn't bother knocking and lets himself into your room, saying it was time to talk. Were you secretly working for the heroes this entire time? Was this all apart of some well thought out plan to infiltrate the league? Maybe you were trying to create a wedge; take them down from the inside type of thing. What was the purpose of playing nice with them? Did you hope to gain their trust, pretending to be some type of double agent then betray them later down the road? (Another hero coming to mind). No way a hero could be so 'lets hold hands' with villains; he needed to know how much of it was an act.
Dabi never gave you a break with his line of questioning, but while you found it confusing at first, now it's sort of funny "and kind of sad." He scoffs down at you, "How's that." "Well...i'm sorry you haven't met many good people, you know?" That reminds him, "What you said before; who else do you know here." "Hmm?" "You said you didn't know most of us here. Who. Do. You. Know-"
"You."
"..."
"..."
"..."
"...You didn't know that?"
"What type of bullshit-"
"Oh, you really didn't know."
Dabi's presence completely shifts and he's not playing anymore. His fingertips begin to dance with flames. He steps closer, "How." You stand up, unafraid of his thoughts threatening to take over "I mean, I do have eyes you know. So" you reach out the graze the side of Dabi's face "it's obvious you have your mother's eyes, just like Shota-AH!!?" Your wrists are on fire, almost literally, as Dabi pins you back down on the bed and growls at you to tell him the truth right now before he grills you alive "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!!!?!" "I KNOW YOUR FATHER!" "SO WHAT?!!" "I KNOW WHAT HE DID!"
"..."
"...I-...I know what he did to you. All of you."
"H-"
"Shota. He told me. Your other siblings as well."
"..."
"I know all about your family drama; what a grade A human dumpster of a father and husband Endeavor is...the moment I saw you I knew exactly where I'd seen those eyes before." Dabi lets you slip your hand away from his hold, or more like he froze. Again you reach to touch the face of the poor boy above you right now,
"I'm sorry life has been so cruel to you....Toya"
"That's not my name."
"Okay"
You both might have stayed in this moment forever if it wasn't for Shigaraki knocking and asking what the meaning of this was. He'd never thought of it before but seeing a man on top of you in bed woke something fierce and jealous inside Tomura. Dabi needed to leave. Now. His read of the situation couldn't be farther from the truth but Dabi pushes himself away and swiftly leaves-"Wait!" "...?" "I-...No one else knows, about...you know." "..." Dabi leaves.
"Did I miss something." You clear your face and give Tomura a reassuring hug, "No, I think you already know about it." Tomura tempts you with his touch and soft smile that's made you so weak, "what if I didn't?" but you're not budging on this one. "I couldn't tell you then." "Keeping a secret from me y/n?" His forehead rests against yours as you promise "I'd never dream of such a thing." You felt so close to Tomura right now. The way he didn't say anything else and just looked at you, letting his smile slowly slide off his face into something else...
"Tomura," "Hmm.."
"I feel....."
"So do I."
"You're..close"
"Because I have a secret of my own to tell you"
"Tomura-" "Shhh, I'm going to share it with you...pay close attention, y/n." His lips press greedily against yours, starved and threatening you to try and stop him. His arms cage you to him, tongue finding a rhythm with your own, and steps pushing you back to the bed until you can only fall back onto it. It's your only chance to call him off while Tomura goes to lock the door, because once he walked back over, you weren't getting another one. Throwing his shirt across the room "Let me know if at any point I need to repeat myself" Tomura removed every cursed thing that got in between you two that night. He'd rather chop his fingers off than keep these gloves on, the only barrier between your bodies, but the leather proved to have some 'redeeming qualities' so maybe they weren't that bad.
A lifetime of thoughts and emotions needed to be shared with you in this, so Tomura follows every instinct and urge that his body has. He's never done this before; he has no idea if you have, but the sounds you were making were so damn good. "m-more..." keeps rolling off his tongue. And who would you be if not yourself, to not give Tomura everything you had and then some.
Hours pass until you're getting a break and it doesn't last long. In between gasps of air, Tomura shares another secret; he wants you to stay. He knows that you can't, but still he asks and begs. He begs you as his body begins coming back to life, to stay and wait to leave him "Just a little longer.!" not to end this dream before he's ready to wake up. Overwhelmed and breathless, you're not ready for it to end either and promise everything he wants. You keep each other close and climb the final submit with one last burst of energy. Tomura cries and drools into your neck fighting to will his body to milk every last drop of this night with you. He's memorized every cry, moan, whimper, and gasp you've made all night. Every touch, arch, drag, and shake from your body. And the feel of your lips against his. It's gotten sloppy, teeth clashing, and breathless but still perfect. You were his now. Whether you grew to hate or resent him for it, to regret this night somewhere down the line. It didn't matter. You'd already fallen asleep but Tomura still promises to look after you. He pulls his lips over your skin one last time before passing out.
--
It’s what he dreamed about for so long; waking up with you in his arms-HIS arms! You fit so perfectly, he hated to ruin it, but the train was ready to leave the station again so he’d greet you with a proper “good morning” afterwards. Besides, he’d rather hear you panting at him to slow down then begging that he speed up, instead of saying two lousy words. Yeah, you sounded so much prettier like this “my pretty little thing-so fucking cute!” This was so much better!! FUCK he wanted to start every day like this-how did people not?! Shigaraki is just as consumed with your body as he was last night. A hell of a way to wake up, being constricted by his affection until you’re passing back out from exhaustion, only to be woken up yet again by Shigaraki starting over. He should stop but couldn't even truly consider it. Besides you’re his now, he’ll shower you in affection whenever he damn well pleased, and you were gonna be grateful. He owed you so much for the kindness you showed him surely you wouldn’t reject his thanks in return? No, you’d never be so ungrateful. So in that case, he better keep going. ‘Anything to make you happy.’
Over the next few days, every chance Shigaraki got to rip your clothes off he took, and nights were marathons. He couldn’t get enough. And it’s not like he was oblivious to the dilemma it created for you, but it just meant he needed to do more to convince you. The league would be leaving Overhaul’s compound to make their next move soon and he wanted you to go with them. You didn’t have to become a villain, Shigaraki just wanted you by his side is all. You could scold and scorn him for what he was doing the entire time if you wanted. He’d offer his jaw to your fist everyday if that made you happy. Just, this time when he left, he wanted you to go with him.
In the few moments of peace Tomura would give you now a days, you thought long and hard about what the hell you were doing. Of course you couldn’t go with the league, but, could you rejoin the heroes either? If they found out what you’ve been doing this entire time, could they arrest you? Kick you out of the hero course-…would they, force you to tell them everything you knew about Tomura..
“You look like you’re thinking hard about something. Better not be about where you and scaly are gonna fuck next.”
“Ugh. I’ve TOLD you already, it was an accident!”
“Who accidentally has sex on a table full of food right before we’re all supposed to eat.”
“Oh…I thought you were referring to the hallway incident.”
“Or the bathroom.?”
“No that one wasn’t an accident. Spinner should've knocked. The couch was an accident though-“ “No it wasn’t you two just got caught.”
“Well it was dark! You were all glued to the tv, I was being mostly still, just..”
“Scaly skin was being louder than the damn tv. Even on max volume all we could hear is how ‘fucking great it is to be balls deep in’-“ “OKAY OKAY!!? Jeez..”
“Don’t act all shy now princess. You’re quit the exhibitionist, it’s impressive.”
“DON’T say it like that..(!?)” you really didn’t mind if anyone saw or even watched you having sex with Tomura; Dabi was right you were into that sort of thing, but only in the moment. You didn’t want to discuss it later over coffee in the morning like it was normal. You try changing the subject, “So how much longer will I be here? It’s been a while hasn’t it?”
“That’s up to you, so I hear. Every time that scaly-“ “Stop calling him that.”
“Fine. Whenever that lovesick puppy of yours is getting close all he does is beg you not-“ “WHY are you LISTENING?!!”
“Too loud not to. You must be one hell of a lay for him to always moan like a-“ “Like a what Dabi.”
“..Speak of the devil…”
Tomura walked in looking very unamused by the conversation topic. He acknowledges your greeting, sitting and slinging his arm over your shoulder. “I can’t tell if you’re a fan of my work or just jealous.” Dabi scoffs, “More like brainwashed from it; all I hear day and night is you going to pound town on the poor princess.”
“‘Poor princess’?”
“Having to look up at that crusty face of yours every night? It’s a wonder she can get off at all.”
You feel the smirk on Tomura's lips and tense up. "Actually" ‘Don’t…’ he swipes your hair off your shoulder ‘don’t you dare say it’ and smiles against your neck, licking the same spot he’s been abusing for days 'Tomura don't you-' “She’s looking down at me most nights.” You try hiding your face but Tomura grips your jaw and forces you to look at Dabi, who’s shocked and amused by this turn of events. “Tell him y/n. You climb on top of your 'lovesick puppy' every night, and refuse to climb off without me getting a little rough with you.” His other hand tickles up your thigh “Go ahead. Tell him. Aren't I right?” Why was he doing this?! Even if other people have been ‘around’ sometimes you’ve yet to do anything like this. Tomura is so possessive you’d never think he’d be inching his fingers up your top right now, making sure that Dabi could see. And he could, and he was. Intently.
“..I-I” “Don’t be shy y/n. I know you’re enjoying this, but it doesn’t seem Dabi believes me. Go ahead and tell him how much you are.” "I-…Tomura-" “LOOK. at him.” You raise your eyes at Dabi who’s been waiting very patiently “ha, this I gotta hear” The asshole was thoroughly enjoying this. Your cheeks are flushed and your lips stutter trying to get the words out “I-I like…that you’re watching.” “Say his name”
“Da-..“
That smirk on his face. An actual smile didn’t suit him. So he watches your face twist into something else, a devious smirk of your own, and the game changes. "Toy-" “DON’T. YOU. FUCKING. DARE.” Now it’s your time to smile, leaning back into Tomura's touch in a show of victory. You don’t feel shy whatsoever anymore about his hand fondling you so openly as Dabi’s eyes were shooting daggers at you and drifting nowhere else right now.
Tomura can’t wait any longer; he drags you over onto his lap and starts moving things out of the way. It feels like your victory lap, so you let your eyes flutter shut and enjoy being dragged down onto him. You wish you could put on more of a show now, and do this every time you saw that smug face on Dabi. Because right now it was furious but there was nothing he could do except watch and listen to you and Tomura go at each other right in front of him. It’s not until you stop trying to hold back your moans that Dabi starts to shift in his chair “You’re a real little villain now aren’t you.” “Not at-hm!?-all. I just can’t s-stand(!) your ass.” Dabi scoffs sarcastically before standing up and snatching you by the throat. Tomura growls at him to "watch it." but stays focused on what he's doing. A little bit of panic starts to surface; you remember the last time Dabi grabbed you, but you can’t back down now so you hold the eye contact. Even as he leans in only an inch from your face, you try not to shelter the pants and moans you’ve been showcasing this entire time. The only reason you start to struggle is because Dabi’s hand tightens before he leans in close enough for your nose to rub against his with every slight bounce. “you’re lucky it’s not my lap you’re sitting on right now princess, or I’d ne teaching that little ass of yours a lesson; you'd forget how to walk.” “?!” “Now open” His fingers pry your mouth open to take the glob of spit he drooled off his tongue. "Swallow it." He throws your face away from him once he’s satisfied, and tells Shigaraki to shut the damn princess up quickly as he strolls out of the room.
‘What the hell was that about..’
“Finally” your clothes are decayed away and Tomura throws you down to all fours and double times his pace. “Don’t worry sweetheart, we can put on as many shows as we want for Dabi in the future. You’d like that wouldn’t you? Want him to watch the two of us like this?” He always did this, just like Dabi said. Whenever Tomura was getting close to finishing he never would until you agreed to stay with him. But this time was different because “Yes…yes(!) I want him to wwwatch us-AahhH!?” “You dirty little slut” Tomura slaps your ass, “maybe I should hand you over to him; see how much you like him then-“ “No! I don’t-I don’t want to fuck him(!) Tomura please-“ “Oh you don’t want that?” “No he'll be mean!” “Who do you want fucking you then y/n.” “You! I want you Tomura I only want you.” “Are you telling the truth y/n.” “Yes.” “You wouldn’t lie to me would you.” “No never-!” “Then you’re only going to bend over like this for me from now on. Got it.” “Yes!” He growls pushing painfully down on your back, “Always so good for me aren’t you-?!“ everyone was used to hearing your and Tomura’s escapades by now, but that morning would be the first time they'd hear Dabi’s name echoing down the halls. It’d also be the first time in ages that Dabi’s stayed in the shower longer than necessary. He was all smiles afterwards trying to catch his breath 'that fucking bitch has to go...'
--
The rest of the day passed by like normal, and the next day began as usual as well. A nice morning hump to get the blood flowing before the league had to go do something. Tomura doesn’t say what except that he’ll be back in a couple hours. He told you yesterday that they’d be leaving any day now, and if you really weren’t going to change your mind then so be it. “Now that I know where to find you, I can always steal you away whenever I'd like.” “That sounds nice.” One more kiss and he leaves.
A few hours later you think you hear the league getting back but the footsteps are too fast. Then there’s obvious sounds of fighting and a struggle happening. You leave your room and don’t believe it: there’s heroes and villains fighting in every direction. You don’t see the league members anywhere; these villains were all new to you so when you notice one sneaking up on a hero from behind you jump in to save him. Who were these guys? And what were all these heroes doing here? You wanted to be flattered but no way this was all to just rescue you.
The hero thanks you for the assist before stopping to stare at you for a moment, “…Are you y/n by chance?”
"Yeah I am. What’s-" "Eraser we got her! Y/n’s alive-!"
Eraser; Aizawa came for you…? Your chest ached. That’s right. You missed Aizawa. You missed your friends, your family.
You couldn’t stay here-
*grab* “I WON'T LOSE YOU AGAIN” "Tomura-!?" "Y/n PLEASE. Come with me. I’m…I'm not ready yet"
"Y/N!!?" Aizawa’s voice makes you jump. He’s getting close, and, if he found Tomura...
"I…I have to go now..”
“N-No” “We’ll see each other again.” "I’m not ready" "It’ll be okay-" "No stay with me-!" "Y/N!!" Aizawa doesn’t care what he’s interrupting; his capture scarf wraps around you and he pulls with all his might. Shigaraki only had you by the wrist and your hand slips from his. The portal begins closing and Tomura’s face has the most broken expression before disappearing into it. He was gone again.
--
That evening you’re back in your dorm room as if nothing happened. The police believed you to be in a state of shock and wait until morning to question you (and questions they did have). In the meantime you’re left alone to rest and readjust to being back. Your room had started collecting a bit of dust, making you realize just how long you’ve actually been gone. Also, that this didn't feel like home anymore.
--
Aizawa isn't sure what advice to give you in the morning. You looked like you hadn't gotten an once of sleep as you shuffle past him. The commission couldn't dig up anything concrete to connect you with Tomura. It infuriated them and took Aizawa, Principle Nezu, and Hawks personally vouching that you weren't some double agent/secret villain for them to not label you a person of interest. Your teachers had many closed door meetings themselves trying to figure out the connection but there wasn't anything that they could piece together themselves.
He didn't want you to go through what you were about to walk into, but; Aizawa grabs you by the hand and gives a light squeeze "I'm here for you. We'll do this together, okay?" You never said anything back, but you fall into Aizawa's chest, silently admitting your true mental state. All night you thought about what you were going to do and say when meeting with the commission, but you still had no clue. You didn't plan to lie, but how honest could you be? You didn't agree with what the league was doing, but you didn't want to see them meet miserable fates either. But, if you don't tell the commission everything they wanted to know then a lot of innocent people might be hurt. There's absolutely no way you'd give anything away that alluded to your intimate relationship with Tomura, nothing good would come from that. You'd need to tiptoe carefully and not make it obvious that you were withholding information. If they found out you were lying, and about what...
Aizawa went with you to the meeting and promised to wait right outside the door the entire time. He gives you an unexpected hug "Do what's best for you y/n. I'll still be here." then shoo's you inside. The room was huge but nothing more daunting than the panel of people hidden in the shadows. A single chair placed in the center of the room told you what was expected.
"Y/n Y/l/n."
"...Yes."
"Let's begin."
--
At least two hours passed. Aizawa could occasionally hear muffled voices raise slightly here and there, but nothing to give away how it was going other than how long it was taking. The commission was clearly interrogating you and Aizawa worried about how well you were handling it. He didn't agree what what the league was doing either, but it was no big secret that the people on the other side of the door were corrupted. So there's no doubt in his mind that they weren't playing fair and applying pressure with intent to break you.
It's another half hour before the door opens and Aizawa jumps to his feet. The doors didn't slam open, nor did your hands shake trying to push them. Your footsteps were strong walking away, so much so that Aizawa nearly misses it. He catches a glimpse of the look in your eyes.
Pure and utter torment.
"Y/n. Y/n..!" He starts chasing after you, trailing behind as you hurried your steps, each faster than the other. You force your way through the crowds of people walking the streets until you turn down an alleyway. Aizawa's still calling your name and begging you to stop. The chase doesn't last much longer though. As soon as the alley lets out to an abandoned lot, he's throw to the ground.
As if holding your breath this entire time, you collapsed to the ground and cried out without dignity and released an explosion of your quirk's energy. Aizawa isn't able to get back to his feet, only shield himself enough to watch as you cried out helplessly to no one. It was heart wrenching. And from afar in an unmarked, unknown location, being held captive and too far away to ever feel it, a should be hopeless AFO pulls a sly smile over his face.
Aizawa could have erased your quirk but instead holds out long enough for your lungs run dry, and the chaos subsides on it's own. All that's left is you folded over on the ground, clinging to yourself and silently sobbing into the dirt. Your body wouldn't stop shaking even after Aizawa carefully sat beside you and pulled you into his arms. The surge of emotion that went into that outburst was impossible to miss. Aizawa could see it; he can feel your heart breaking. And it was killing you.

Okay, I know I'm late to a lot of anime these days (just caught up on One Piece, still watching the new Fruits Basket. in the middle of Free and I just started watching MHA) but I am MAKING VOICE CONNECTIONS...
and some of them are blowing my mind!!
So Top image: I've known for a long time that Jerry Jewell was Kyo Sohma from Fruits Basket (I MET HIM at Nekocon AGES ago!! got his autograph too! and If i could find it, a pic of him and me together) But I completely missed that he was Victor Nikiforov on Yuri on Ice!! I caught his voice in Free! as Momotaro Mikohshiba, thinking "Wow, he looks, acts and SOUNDS like Kyo!" and boom, he was! And I was looking up him up today to make sure i spelled his name right when I found out he was also Principle Nezu from My Hero Academia???? And then.
AND THEN.
Bottom Image: Of course most of you know I went on a One Piece Binge last summer, reacquainting myself with what I knew and then catching up on everything I missed… So I'm well familiar with Zoro's voice now.
I start watching MHA and its… All Might???? I don't hear it so much when he's powered up, but when he's NOT? That's totally Zoro!
Looked it up of course to find out i was right, it was Chris Sabat, and when I did, i found 3 more I had no clue about!!! But he's ALSO on Free! (Goro Sasabe), Yuri on Ice (Christophe Giacommetti) and Fruits Basket (BOTH versions, just like Jerry) - as AYAME?
Note 1: I need to go back and watch these shows again, see if i can pick them out this time around.
Note 2: I'm also amused by the amount of overlap, but that's probably inevitable.
Note 3: Probably not a popular opinion but i prefer Powered down All Might - both in looks and voice. Powered Up All Might gives me the creeps for some reason - i think because it's... performative? on his part, which makes SENSE. i just don't like it.

SHOUTA AIZAWA - FEELINGS? ⭐️
prohero!aizawa x new prohero!fem | fluff!! | (my first ff, series?)
summary: What is this overwhelming feeling that you developed within a few weeks for Aizawa? Is it love? or is it just because he was different?
You felt your world stop. His eyes. His gorgeous eyes
Tumblr media
It’s been like this for the past few months. After Class 1A encountered the villains, you can’t help but to notice Earaserhead. His battle against the Nomu realised how strong he actually is. You had this impression of Earaser that he was cold, ignorant and weak. but after that incident, you realised that not only he was strong, but his endurance, how he protected the students. and how he kept fighting until he was unconscious. Since then, there was something about Earaserhead, Shouta Aizawa, that draws you closer to him. You ever had a one on one interaction.
“L/N!” The voice of All Might snapped you back to reality. You realised that you had been staring at him all day but you couldn’t help it, and the topic of changing All Might’s ring tone was not helping at all.
“You students will be playing against your teachers.” His faint smirk… Your heartbeat started to rise as you felt your stomach spin. This feeling was unfamiliar to you, and it had to be feelings for Aizawa.
The whole entire time when Aizawa briefed the students on their practical exam, you can’t help but to stare at him. He probably realised your fixed gaze on him because he stepped away from your vision.
Suddenly, Principle Nezu crawled out of Aizawa’s scarf and accidentally slapped his face. You couldn’t help but to burst out a chuckle as you saw how unbothered Aizawa was. Then, in a second you felt all eyes on you, especially his. You got flustered and step behind Thirteen trying to hide yourself. As Principle Nezu blabbered on and on about the practical exam, you felt his gaze on you. It gave you goosebumps but more importantly, butterflies.
————————————————————————
“So what do you think they will do?” Your whole body went stiff. His lowly rough voice gave you chills down the spine. You were fixated on analysing the students. It completely made you forgot that you were next for battle.
Footsteps were getting closer, your body couldn’t react to it. Your heartbeat started to pound fast.
“Hey, did you hear me?” His presence was overwhelming. It’s even worse when you felt his warmth beside you.
“Oh… yea!” Your voice got all pitchy and beads of sweats were starting to form. Slowly, you took a deep breath and for now , you pushed your thoughts about Aizawa to the side
“Kirishima and Sato are strong with a close combat but they’re not so good when it comes to creating a plan… They are likely to attack me.” Unwillingly, you turned to look at Aizawa. His side profile caught you off guard. The closer you looked at him, the closer your heart was about to burst.
“You’re right.” You felt your world stop. His eyes. His gorgeous eyes were contacting with yours. You stopped breathing for a second and Aizawa noticed that. He realised it and quickly looked away.
“Get ready, you’re next.”
————————————————————————
“VILLAIN WINS!” You smirked at the state of Kirishima and Sato. “You boys didn’t even put a scratch on me!” They couldn’t even stand a chance with your quirk but they were stronger than you expected.
“Nice one L/N! As expected! The new pro hero!” You smiled as All Might praises you with a wide smile. After the fight, you went back to the monitor room.
“All Might, who is next?”
“Aizawa.” Your face got all red and hot.
“L/N! Why are you so red!?” You quickly covered your face and ran away from All Might. Even hearing his name made you weak in the knees. You’re unsure of what your feelings are. How could you say that you have fallen for this man by just looking at his eyes?
You watched his battle closely. For some reason, watching him in a serious made you stomach turn into a knot but as he got caught and lost, the way he praised his students was like a completely different Aizawa that you had in mind
“Keep saying this and that, but truly you’re just a softie…” You heard Recovery Girl sighed. Those words that came out from her mouth made you fall in love-
Your eyes widen. Your heart started to get faster, for some reason you felt a pain in your chest. What is this feeling that you have for Aizawa, it can’t be love… can it?
To be continued…

Note
I just thought a fic idea.
After the USJ Nezu decides he need a pair of fresh eyes, someone who will help him weed out the traitor, and someone to fill that vacant vice-principal job. His choice?
Inko Midoriya.
Ahahahahahahahahahahahaha
While I don't think it genuinely makes sense, it's hilarious enough to commit to the bit!!!
WAIT WAIT WAIT
Okay so hear me out: In my AUs, I make it that Inko is a nurse. So how about instead of something she's not quite qualified for like VP, she's hired as Recovery Girl's assistant/eventual replacement?
She would still have the job of finding the Traitor, but being the school nurse would give her more time with the Hero Students. We don't even get that much of her 'weeding out the traitor' she's just helping fix problems.
Izuku is dying a little because ofc Inko has to be an embarrassing mom but she does pull it back most of the time.
Katsuki speedruns the redemption and therapy because Inko can see what's going on directly instead of just Izuku lying about it
Inko does not fear the reaper so she hears about Shoto's nonsense and then goes to yell at Endeavor first chance she gets. (somehow this actually works)
Everyone looks at the situation and is like "Izuku I know you say All Might isn't your bio dad but I think he's about to be your stepdad???"
Inko, being a nurse, looks at Denki zapping himself and is like 'you stop that right now!!!'
Bonus Points:
She shows up to Nezu's office in the middle of him and All Might discussing the bigger plot things. It was just something normal to update the principle on, but she sees an open file on the desk and pauses looking at a picture.
Inko, pointing at the photo: "That man there. Do you know how to contact him?"
All Might, confused: "Unfortunately if we could find him, we'd have solved a few problems by now."
Nezu, catching on: "Why, do you know him?"
Inko, slightly embarrassed: "Not exactly. Only met him the once. But even if he's some criminal, I think he still deserves to know he has a son now."
All Might and Nezu: *record scratch noise as they stare at AfO's file photo*
